This is a new author for me and I enjoyed this book. I can’t wait to check out the other books in this series. This is a well written story that has well develped characters that bring the story to life. They are connectable and will keep you reading to the end. Many characters with lots of things going on with even a twist that you won’t want to miss. I loved Addie’s character and found myself hoping that she and Robert would find their HEA. I highly recommend finding out what happens with them.

I really don’t know how each book can be so different but so good! Adult-only theme park? Yes please! BDSM, swingers, and danger oh my! And the sexy time was oh so hot!
I love the characters in this series, each one has a story. Each story is developed just enough for the reader to keep turning the pages! Sometimes characters resonate with the reader and sometimes it’s the words that are written. Every reader is bound to find something with Alexander’s stories.
Start by reading the first in this series so you can love all the characters, all the mischief, all the fun Alexander has to offer. This series is not for readers under 18, not for readers with closed minds. I think Enya said it best: “I didn’t think it was the right thing for me. Not that I blamed anyone else for enjoying it…”
Courage of Us by Brooke May is the first installment in the Code of Honor series. It is a precious military novel that I couldn’t put down after I picked up. The plot of the story was highly entertaining and quickly grabbed my attention. The characters were very developed and thought out very well. Patience and Duke were best friends from the time they were in diapers. After graduation Duke leaves and joins the Marines. Patience moves on with her life and falls into a terrible marriage that she cannot wait to get out of. Both Duke and Patience have been through so much in all their time apart and after he gets medically discharged and comes back home, the 2 reconnect. I was very unhappy with the way Duke left Patience, and it seemed like he was forgiven too easy. However I can see why the forgiveness was given over so easily as Patience has secrets of her own, that she also wants to be forgiven for. It was a pleasant read getting to watch the 2 of them rekindle their connection and build a foundation of moving on with their lives.

Its a page turner with loads of twists and turns the good guys turn out to be bad, the bad guys turn out to be good. No one is who they seem to be and all the while Ian has to work all this out and deal with his magic addiction before it takes over him for good.

I didn’t know what to expect with this book. It was a little confusing at first with the four characters with similar names, but I quickly caught on where it was going and was pleasantly surprised. The premise of the book is like nothing I have ever read, having 4 different versions of the same character in parallel universes. But each one is unique in their own way, but there are similarities too. I really enjoyed comparing them and also seeing who has what in common. The author essentially made 4 main characters, each with their own world and secondary characters. In my opinion, she did a wonderful job of this, it could have easily gotten confusing. I really would love to learn more of each of the versions, they were great. And it was hard to pick a favorite, I liked them all for different reasons.
But there’s more than just the girls. In their own way, each one discovers more about their family. Some knew parts, others knew nothing. Their search leads them into trouble though. This is a YA scifi book, but it’s so much more too. It’s about discovering who you are and what you will do, the importance of loved ones, and finding the perfect balance. There is love, suspense, action, and some parts that will make you quite sad.
Overall, this is a well-rounded book and I highly recommend it.

Loched: This was an interesting twist to the myth of the Loch Ness Monster. Lore, myth and magic meld together to bring this wonderful story to life. Man or monster, can he be both?
Four books filled with love, laughter and a multitude of sexiness. Definitely a must read!

This is a lovely story that revolves around pet adoption. The clinics, the people that work there and the dog that brings people together. I liked the idea of this book. The reading of it was a bit of a struggle for me. I couldn’t keep my interest in the story. The characters were nice. I liked them but didn’t love them.
The ending was nice and the evergreen thing was cool. I did like that the story swirls around pet adoption and brings awareness to the no-kill shelter

Revive was a great 4 star read and book three in the Rewind series and can be read as a stand alone.
I really liked Brandon and Patrick and their story. Brandon is a single father who has been struggling with coming out, when he has a one night stand with a hot man things get even harder for him. Brandon gets a very unexpected surprise when he meets his new therapist, Patrick, the one night stand.
Will the chemistry between these two test the patient, doctor boundaries? Can they have more?
Patrick has certain issues with bi men, and when he discovers Brandon is bi can he get past his issues? We also learn why Patrick feels the way he does, which helped me understand his feelings.
Overall I really enjoyed this read. All of the secondary characters were great, I had several LOL moments. I really like the alternating POV, it gives you a chance to see what each of them are thinking. This isn’t a genre I read often but I was really pulled in by Rowan Shaw’s writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this read.
Dickson puts together a gripping suspense that keeps the reader guessing. I had not read anything else in the series before picking this up but will go back and catch up after reading this installment. Crime/suspense lovers will enjoy this caper. From beginning to end I found the detail captivating and the characters interesting. Very enjoyable read and one I will recommend to others.

“Can’t a big guy have interests and scholarly pursuits?”
FIRE & ICE is the 3rd book in the “Spicetopia” series and as long as you know that Spicetopia is an adult theme park (“and by adults, I mean ADULTS”), you should be able to follow along with no problem. Each book in the series surrounds a different couple and each story is fully actualized and doesn’t heavily rely on the previous story (well until it does, but at that point you should be familiar with the whose who of the theme park).
Book 3 stars Neve and Enya, they are as opposite as – well fire and ice. He is “The Iceman” and she is fiery. That’s how it looks on the outside anyway. While Neve “wasn’t a partier and didn’t really like people” he is more than willing to do his job and keep his people safe. Enya is the Director of PR, is half Neve’s size and talks as much as he is silent. They are both huge assets to business.
The banter and comedic dynamic that this couple exhibits was fun to read. This book is full of action and suspense and there is a sense of togetherness that just naturally seems to come to the H and h. There were times that I just wasn’t sure were the next turn of events would lead us. There was never a dull moment and the story turned pages on its own.
As with all of this author’s books, this was a fast and satisfying read which I absolutely recommend.
side note: There is a paragraph that contains a discussion about the male lead’s name. I went to the internet to see if I was pronouncing it right and went down a rabbit hole of videos showing how to pronounce MY OWN NAME. Trust me, don’t do it, just trust that you are pronouncing everything correctly… hahaha
STARS FALL FROM THE SKY is the second book in the “Reigning Hearts” series but can be read as a stand-alone.
If I may make a suggestion before I begin this review, read with a box of tissues handy. Emotions abound in parts of this moving story.
As with other books by this author, the story has a terrific flow from beginning to end, the characters are well developed, little drama (besides the obvious) and some swoon worthy scenes for sure. This is one of those books that can be read in one sitting and a feeling of contentment should be felt after THE END.
This is a visually written story which, at times, was breathtakingly painful. I can only image how hard it is to write an emotional tale and think this author handled the intricacies well.

Ricochet by Kathryn Berla was an interesting and exciting read. I was thrown for a loop with the introduction of each version of Tatiana and her life in the various time lines. It was fascinating and everything came together as the story progressed. This story was definitely well thought out and organized. It ended up being easy keeping up with the differing lines. I loved it. The author also did an excellent job with the development of each version of Tatiana. They were all the same but at the same time different. This was a fun read. I highly recommend it!

Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is a surprising fun read that actually teaches us many lessons AND it is so different from the other book I have read by this writer so I am really pleased I picked up a copy! Evergreen is Juniper (June for short) and Graham’s story but in reality the true star of the show is Maxine! I promise you will fall in love with this lovable Great Dane that plays a vital role in June and Graham’s relationship! I love how the writer is using the rescue animals as one of the main elements in her story line; I think that it reminds us how important pets can be/are in our lives … Be prepared to laugh and feel sad and angry and also be prepared to hope and love … June has her baggage and it is hard for her to trust and open up to people but she has come out the other side in one piece and stronger even if she does not believe it herself … and then we have Graham, the sexy shy school teacher that brings the banter and hope and … love … Well done Ms O’Malley and thank you for this modern fairy tale!

I have absolutely loved every single read in this series, each one while being a quick read, keeps you utterly captivated from start till finish, and leave you wanting more from each book, to see the character’s journey continue and to see where this author can take them. These books are full to the brim with sexiness, steaminess, adventure, history & just brilliant well developed storylines.
With each book giving us new characters and a new supernatural character, you can’t help but be excited about what you are about to get. They are well-developed characters that are strong, and know what they want and won’t stop in order to find love, and get their HEA.
I can’t wait to read more from this author and see what others stories she brings to the Supernatural Love Stories in the Absurd. I highly recommend these stories you won’t want to miss them!

Courage of Us by Brooke May is the first book in the Code of Honor series. This book is a fantastic read that really draws you, as the reader, into its pages. The author immediately builds the connection between you and the characters. I knew right from the word go that I wanted Patience and Duke to find their happy ever after. The story was well paced too. The author gradually developed the story and the emotions within it. You could feel Patience’s pain on each page. This was a brilliant start to a new series and another great book by this author.

The Crown of Stones: Magic-Price by C.L. Schneider is an exciting story that I found to be really unique and utterly captivating. Before I had even picked up this book I was drawn to it, from the cover that instantly caught my eyes to the description that completely hooked my attention. When I delved into it the story itself was just as good. It was a detailed story that painted the picture of what was happening so vividly it honestly felt like I was there at times. I loved how none of the characters were made to seem perfect. It actually meant that I connected with them all that bit more because you could see their flaws. Let me start by saying that this is one of the best ‘feelgood’ stories I have read in quite some time. It is such a sweet and charming story, and it has a real ‘cozy’ feel to it. So, grab yourself a cup of hot cocoa, a fluffy blanket and find a comfortable seat, and get lost in this wonderful story for a few hours. Evergreen by Mya O’Malley is quite a bit different from the other books of hers that I have read, so that took me by surprise- a really wonderful surprise. I really enjoyed her other books, but I think this may just be my favourite of them all. This heart-warming story gave me all those warm and fuzzy feelings that I love so much. This beautiful story, with such endearing characters is one I won’t soon forget. But it’s a mysterious and loveable Great Dane named Maxine who really stole the whole show for me. I adored her. Now I am scouring the internet looking for Great Dane breeders in my area so I can get one of my own! That’s how much this story grabbed me. It is a fairly short story, which makes for a very quick and easy read- I consumed it all in one easy sitting. The storyline switches back and forth from past to present perspectives quite seamlessly and helped to build the story. I really recommend this book to anyone who loves a feelgood story, with wonderful characters, and a lovely romance. You are sure to love it as much as I have. I really can’t wait to read whatever Ms. O’Malley does next- she never disappoints!

The story Hidden Tracks by Zoe Lee is a contemporary romance book. Once I started, I found that it pulled me in, and I didn’t want to put it down until the final page. The book had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I was reading it. It is well-written, and it made me feel like I was right there with the characters. I loved reading about Astrid and Seth. Astrid is a strong, independent, intelligent, and beautiful woman. She is a respected music journalist. That is how she meets Seth. Seth is a man who loves music, be it either singing or writing. He is also a man that was asked by Downbeat to play with them. He then meets Astrid. Both of them feel a pull towards each other. Their relationship starts off as a casual one. Will they find that their feelings for each other are starting to grow stronger? What does the future hold for Astrid and Seth? What would happen if Seth starts moving towards stardom? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed the bantering back and forth between many of the characters. Many of them are friends and they have a good time together. I grew to care about Astrid and Seth with every chapter that I read and wanted them to be happy. Don’t miss out on an amazing story with wonderful characters. I highly recommend reading it.

This is an amazing story to read. It pulled me in right from the beginning and I found that I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished the last page. The book had my emotions going up and down as I read about the characters and the situations that they face. The story has heartwarming moments and also moments that are hard for the characters to think about. I loved reading about Patience and Duke. I grew to care about them with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to be happy. The book also has some very romantic scenes. The story has additional characters that are introduced, and I enjoyed reading about the interactions between them and Patience and Duke. The story has the characters in situations that they must cope with. It had me thinking about what I would do if in the same situation. I found myself thinking about the story even after I had finished it. Don’t miss out on an awesome book that has amazing characters. I highly recommend reading it.

Stars Fall From the Sky (Reigning Hearts Book Two) by KG Fletcher. This is the second book in this series but it can be read as a standalone. This book was amazing! It took my breath away, made me ugly cry and feel every emotion in between. I loved it! Its the story of Ginger McCormick who we first met in Book 1. She has an amazing husband and a newborn daughter and her life seems like its perfect until tragedy strikes. Going back to the beach is not in her plans at all because of the memories but she has to for her friend Emeline’s wedding. Jonathon Walden is the new Doctor in town who is trying to get away from all the memories of his former life and the pain. Going to a meeting for loss Jonathon and Ginger meet and the attraction is instand. Will they be able to let go of their past hurts and take a chance on love? Evergreen is a sweet, emotional love story with so many lessons to teach us! June, the seemingly backwards, shy, and clumsy girl from the animal shelter isn’t really whom she appears to be. She is, but there is much more to her that she keeps hidden from everyone because she is too afraid of being used and hurt if people find out the truth. Graham is the shy but sexy 6th grade teacher who happens upon a mysterious dog and meets June while taking the dog to the shelter. When the two of them and Maxine get together, things get humorous, serious, and at times, emotional.
This was a wonderful story that teaches us how powerfully our pasts can affect our presents. How animals can bring so much joy to our lives and help us heal old and new wounds. It also shows us the important works that local animal shelters do and how much help they need in order to operate in the most beneficial way for the animals.
I enjoyed this book so much! I could picture everything perfectly. The scenes and characters were written so well, the images are fed to you right from the pages. I highly recommend this short and sweet romance to everyone!

This story was an awesome one! It sucked me in from the very first page and I devoured it. It was well written and the main characters were relatable and I liked them alot. This story is all about second chances and finding yourself along the way. Patience and Duke are the MC’s and the chemistry between the two of them is off the charts. Patience is a little lost in life, and she is set on changing her life around and taking control. Duke left her lost and alone when he joined the Marines, but not that hes out will he want that second chance at love again with the girl he left so long ago? Go get this book! Their story is a must read and I would recommend it to anyone that loves when the characters get their second chances! Happy Reading!

Hidden Tracks by Zoe Lee is a definite read for musicians, music lovers, and rock groupies. Some might say that the author takes her time before getting into the action between the main characters. Others may say she is passionate about the world-building and introducing the characters before trying to build the chemistry. I would compare it to a good ballad – it slowly builds the scene before building the tempo. Regardless of whether you consider the details monotonous or interesting, once the plot starts deepening, it’ll be difficult to put the book down. It’s a wonderful story of overcoming the scars of the past and letting love heal.

RICOCHET is an intriguing premise and was an interesting story to read. I don’t want to give anything away so I’m going to be super vague and factual in this review:

I was so stinking excited to get my hands on this book by two of my favorite go-to authors when it comes to romance with some excitement and sizzle. I was really hoping this book was everything I had hoped it would be and even more excited to report that is soared beyond my expectations even. Wade and Kells have similar writing styles and it is evident that they compliment each other with the ebb and flow of this story. Even better, there will be more of these books to come!
Deadly Alliance is the prequel to An Alliance Agency series from these two and I can tell that things are going to be one heck of a ride along the way. In Deadly Alliance we are introduced to Shane Rhodes and Emme Wallace, two agents from two separate teams who suddenly find themselves working very much on the same team. These two pose as a married couple whilst under cover investigating a serial killer. As the body count rises the need to figure out this case becomes more and more dire. I loved the way these two characters worked together. They made things light and airy where needed and got down to business the other times. I found myself rooting and cheering at these two as if I was watching my favorite football team edge a win. My only sadness came with the end of the book, but like I said there is more to come and I am in line for that right away!
This was a fast paced read and has 2 of my favorite things, dogs and a sweet romance. June never measured up in her parents eyes and my heart hurt for her as she didn’t trust easily, if at all. Graham was funny, a little awkward and also just an all around good guy. Cant forget the star of the book, Maxine! What a great character to add to this book. She brought it all together and I loved her antics. Great read!
So first let me start with the cover of this book… gorgeous. When I saw it was penned by Kathryn Berla I knew it was something I had to ge my hands on, having read some of her other novels and enjoying them. I was skeptical only because it looked a bit on the sci-fi side of things and I simply prefer to avoid them because I just don’t comprehend and get confused with these types of books. So I went it cautious of this. I will say I enjoyed the idea, and I can see where it would shine with some fine tuning or even just some splitting up. The idea is a girl named Tatiana is able to see herself in alternate or parallel universes while she seizes. When she figured this out she begins to explore the other girls. Now here is where I got so stinking lost. We get three other girls in three other universes with the same supporting characters. Trying to sift through all of that information and keep it all straight was just too much. I could see where this book could become a successful series. Each girl getting her own book would cut down the confusion I am sure. Just an idea but this book unfortunately for this reason fell short for me. I will be interested to see what we will get next and if Ms. Berla ever re-configures this story line.
All the things with this book! First and foremost, I will start with the gorgeous cover of this novel. I loved this so much that I scooped it up not even reading a word or who it is by. I was shocked to find out that the author was Mya O’Malley, normally one of my favorite authors that pens suspense and twisty books. This was not the case with Evergreen and that is no easy feat being able to bounce from such different genres and make them both extraordinary like you see with this case. Evergreen is a contemporary romance with a bit of magic I felt, or the feel of it at least. I loved how the animals were given a voice and that attributed to the magical feeling of it all. This book brings to life right before your eyes June, a relatable girl for most and makes the story everything it is. I loved how this book unfolded so organically and wrapped up in a nice neat way. I look forward to seeing what else Mya O’Malley tries her pen at, I am sure I will love it!
Knight Watch by Maddie Wade and India Kells is the first book in Alliance Agency series. This is a brilliant start to a new series by two authors that are absolutely fantastic. This book is definitely action packed. The whole thing is such a whirlwind of a journey. It feels like you take everything single step with these characters, especially Sydney. These authors have managed to combine their writing styles so successfully that for me you really couldn’t tell them apart. They worked so well together and have created a story that really is a must read. Having read this book and the prequel I cannot wait to see what else is to come.
I love a good suspense and this book had me enraptured quickly. I haven’t read anything from this author before and was very glad to have had this book find its way into my hands. Suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. Snappy dialogue. Intriguing plot development. Relatable characters. All worthy qualities of a permanent addition to my personal library. Really enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more in the series.
