Devil’s Dilemma is the fourth novel in the Colorado Chapter series by Manda Mellet. This is my fourth novel by this author.
Melissa meets Skull at a bar one night and while she is surprised he would be attracted to an older woman, the two start a relationship.
He introduced her to his brothers in the MC and she feels like she had finally found her place where she is happy.
But one day Skull leaves but doesn’t come back which worries the others. Soon they believe him to be dead.
I don’t want to give too much away but this was a really loved this novel.
I read the others and each one has a different emotion while reading. It’s amazing that the author has accomplished this and leaves me wanting more of these characters.
I hope there is another novel because this is my favorite by far.

These goodies all in one place is a bonus for anyone because you don’t have to wait to get the next one, it is already right there for you grab, because trust me you will want to. I fell in love with each and every story, hanging on each and every word that Necie wrote.
My Hidden Life (Book 1) is one great start to the series that you don’t want to miss. Necie has a way with her words that ensure you and you are engrossed in not only the story but you become thoroughly invested in the characters. Being the Princess of the Family is not all it is cracked up to be. Being raised to one day take over a man’s world, from the day you were born, means you see and hear things you would never see in a million years. The story is told in multiple POV’s enriching the story so much more. There is so much drama and action, murder and mayhem as one Family fights another in this cut throat world. Read as one little girl learns what life is like in a world full of violence but also love.
My Tragic Life (Book 2) and as with the first book, you will find yourself engrossed in the world of the Canzano Family. You are thoroughly invested in the characters that you have grown to love in the first book. The Princess of the Family is smart, clever, and sassy and still being trained and raised to one day take over. She can out smart, out gun and out fight any man who gets in her way. This story continues to be told in multiple POV’s giving us that depth to the characters showing us what they are made from. The murder and mayhem, love and loss and high running emotions are at times heart wrenching. Necie has written a series that should not be missed. She is a diamond in the rough that is coming out shining.
My Free Life (Book 3) is the culmination of everything coming together in the tragic world of the Princess working toward her ultimate goal. With the men undeniably hers, the Princess continues to run things as she sees fit, but she knows there can only be one end, but little does she know that others have that same goal insight. Necie has once again written a winner, as she takes us on the journey that ends with death and sadness, love and loss. It’s at the ending that you will need tissues as there will be tears, as you are so emotionally invested in these wonderful characters. There is lots of action and murder, mayhem and secrets that could bring them all down. This is an explosive ending that should not be missed.
Anything of the Brothers of Camelot is a must. It is like a drug, you can’t get enough of.

Another fantastic installment from King! The backstory and subsequent world building in this series is riveting, well detailed, and beautifully written. I found the characters immediately relatable. Something about Uriel just resonated with me unexpectedly. Anyway, I continue to thoroughly enjoy this series and this latest addition was a welcomed read. Highly recommend!

San Diego Dead is the 4th book in the Jack Wolfe series by Mark Nolan. It continues the story of Jake Wolfe, and his retired war dog, Cody. These books are always action packed, and you never know what will happen next. In this story, Jake is trying to take a break from his job as a government hired assassin. But no surprise, he gets roped back in. His skills are just too sought after, and he finds it hard not to take the job, having personal stake in it. However, his job once again puts his relationship on the line. Will Sarah continue to stand by, even when it puts her life at risk over and over? Read the book and find out. While you could probably enjoy this book as a stand alone, or the first you read, I recommend you go back and read the other books. It will give you the full story, and lets face it, they are just good!

This was a suspenseful thriller that I immediately loved and couldn’t get enough of. I was pulled in from the very first page and I was kept on the edge of suspense throughout whole novel. So many twists and turns!! The main characters in this book are Lincoln and Mina. I thought they were great and I thought they were very likeable and relatable. There is a lot of attraction going on between these two but when a body is found the little trust they had gets thinner and thinner. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future. Happy Reading!

RUN FROM LOVE is book #2 in The Bowser Belles series and is the first I’ve read in the series. It is a quick easy read.
The story is written in such a way that we are able to watch the characters grow as we turn the pages. There is a sweet innocence to it. It is about love and friendship and bonds that are tight.
The sweet romance is not a genre I read as a rule, and this was so refreshing not to have skim and skip repetitive sex scenes.
This is one of those books that I will recommend to my younger cousins AND elderly book club members. I will be downloading the other books in the series to see what else is going on with “The Bowser Belles”.

Drawing Strength From Words (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 2) by C. A. King. Once again the author takes readers on quite the adventure. I holy recommend reading these in order as the story continues. While this is one the shorter side it doesn’t hinder the storyline being told. I found myself on pins and needles more than once anxious to see what was going to happen. This author draws you in and you just want to stay a while. I was definitely sad when I was finished and can’t wait for more. The characters are complex and written so well. The storyline is well paced nicely. I’m so excited to see where we are taken next! Four stars and highly recommended!

Ok, I absolutely love this author, this series and pretty much anything she writes. But this book, oh my goodness, out of all the books in the Colorado Chapter and even the original series, this is in my top 3. I haven’t felt like this with a book in so long. I can’t even put into proper words how much this book hit me. This was so different than any previous book, I had no idea what was coming next and couldn’t predict what was going to happen. I can sit here and ramble but this hit so hard I was a sobbing mess a few times.

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devil MC is the fourth Book in the Colorado Chapter by Manda Mellett and I couldn’t put it down once I started. I found myself on the edge of my seat had to know what happens next. This is definitely my favorite yet .I’ve read several books by this Author and I can’t say how much I love her style of writing and her characters are always off the charts and relatable . This is Melissa’s and Pyro’s story. There’s lots of action and romance and twists and turns that you don’t see coming. Find out what happens next in this must read. I highly recommend reading not just this Book but the whole series if you haven’t already started it. I can’t wait to read the next book.

Chase: The Men of Holmby Hills is the first book I’ve read by this author and I can honestly say, I cannot wait to read more by her. This book grabbed my attention from the very beginning and kept me interested. Chase is an actor who has it all. He has all the money he ever needs, he finds a different woman to keep him company whenever he wants and he seems happy. When a story pops up that Chase was with a minor, he denies it. The club he went to was a twenty-one and over club. The girl must’ve had a fake Id. Now Chase is worries about his image. He may not get cast in certain shows / movies because of the bad publicity he is getting even though it was not his fault. Carrie is filling in for Susan over in wardrobe. Chase is immediately thinking Carrie is perfect for his image. She’s not bad on the eyes either. Once Chase and Carrie start seeing each other things move quickly. They are from different worlds, they want different things and Carrie starts second guessing things. Someone is out to get Chase and somehow they are always finding info to go to the press with. When i found out who it was I couldn’t believe it. This book was well written, the character were all great,..most of them anyway. Cannot wait to read more by this author.

Drawing Strength From Words (A Four Horsemen Novel Book 2) by C.A. King was an excellent addition to this series. I love how King begins with the history of the Four Horsemen that is also seen at the beginning of book 1. This helps make this book an easy novel to read out of order in the series. This novel focuses on Gabrielle and Ryder. I loved seeing the characters from book one present in this novel though. Kong does an excellent job with the development of the story and also with the characters. It is filled with action and excitement. The story seemed to move easily and quickly. This was an excellent read and I highly recommend it!

This is one of those series that keep getting better and better with every book. It hooked me from book 1 and I can’t seem to devour them fast enough. To be fair I will not reveal who is the main character is in this book because this should be a surprise to everyone but WOW! I love how each story is uniquely different from any other MC book out there and the characters are so beautifully written. MC fans need these books in their library!

San Diego Dead: An Action Thriller (Jake Wolfe Book 4) by Mark Nolan is just brilliant. I had forgotten about this series, sorry Mark, but as soon as I realised what it was, I was into it without a second thought. Mark always gives us a thrilling ride with lots of twists and turns. The Jake Wolfe series is one of my all-time favourites. I must say I had a chuckle when I saw just how the cartel were thwarted in their attempts at kidnapping. Anywhoo, Mark always makes his stories of Jake and Cody with plenty of action and danger, adventures and drama, mayhem and murder that makes it hard to put down. I love that the story is told in multiple POV’s and that Cody also has a voice. It’s almost as though he doesn’t know he isn’t human. The characters are hard not to fall in love with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Emotions run high when we see others in danger and the heart gets a good ‘ol pump.
Jake Wolfe is an ex-marine, but he is also more than just a lawyer, he is also part of a secret covert operative team. He is drawn between is feelings for his beautiful woman and his time spent working in highly sensitive and above people pay grades work. He along with Cody an ex-marine war dog have become an explosive team and they have no problem with holding the extremely bad guys accountable and then some.
Sarah finds it hard to deal with the work that Jake does, even if it is above her pay grade and is top secret. But after a series of events where she has to use some brute force she has a slightly better understanding of why he is compelled to do whatever it is he does.
Mark I need more and soon, don’t make me wait! Please……………………….
I highly recommend this series to everyone and I can’t wait to see what they get up to next.

I have not read anything by Jamie Waters and that will be changing after reading To Kill a Fae, the first book in The Dragon Portal series. From the cover graphics to the first page with the Fae on it, I knew this was going to be an exciting read. Fantasy books have been one of the genres that I loved reading and I want to thank Ms. Waters for showing me why this genre is awesome. Ms. Waters brought the characters to life with her descriptive writing skills. From the scenery to the characters, I felt like I was there with them. I became part of their world. The plot of the story was interesting and kept me guessing and looking around the corners. The story is about Sabine who escaped from her home as she was marked for death. Sabine was doing good until a stranger arrived where she was at. Sabine needs to focus because she has been tasked with a dangerous task and needs to be careful. Will Sabine be able to complete her task? Will the stranger be helpful to her or will he turn her over? This is a great beginning and I cannot wait to see where it goes from here.

Lavender Field by Natalina Reis is one of those books that will capture your heart with fantastic characters. Natalina Reis is an author that I have slowly become familiar with over the past year and is an author that I have grown accustomed to being slightly unpredictable in her work. Every book I read by her is completely different to the last one I read which helps to keep her work refreshing. I loved the story of this book. Sky and Caleb were such loveable characters. It felt like you went on their journey with the right from the start. The author creates a vivid picture of them so it is easy to picture being there with them. I thought there was also great story development. The first chapter did everything it needed to in capturing my attention and the resulting pace of the book was perfect. I definitely enjoyed this book and can’t wait to delve more into this authors work.

Devil’s Due is the 3rd book in the amazing Satan’s Devils (Colorado Chapter) by Manda Mellett. Every time I read one of her books I say it is my favourite and I’m going to say it again. With each book she just gets better and better and I’m even more hooked to her awesome group of bikers. Like many other reviews you may read of this book, I am not going to name the hero as the author wishes this to be a surprise. A very pleasant surprise. Like all her other books, this had me gripped straight away and didn’t let me go. I absolutely adored the hero and his heroine Stevie. Stevie is one of the most amazing characters I’ve read in a very long time. I loved that the author chose to have a blind character as her leading lady. And I may add that she’s one determined, stubborn, independent lady. She’s totally kickass and I just adored everything about her. One thing I love about this author’s writing is that she always throws in a good few twists and turns that you don’t see coming. Reading this book I was convinced that at some point we’d discover that Stevie isn’t actually blind as that’s the kind of thing Manda Mellett does to you. But as I’m usually rubbish as guessing her plot twists, I was wrong as usual! Lol!. As always from this author, this book is filled with so much drama and suspense, you won’t want to put it down. Added to that is a healthy dose of angst and romance. For me, a perfect package.

Another amazing adventure with Jake Wolfe and his sidekick Cody. This story is number 4 in the Jake Wolfe series and must be read in order. San Diego Dead starts with action, continues with action and ends with action! Hang on for the wild ride that is Jake Wolfe! Protecting the USA is a tough and violent job so there is a little violence throughout this story. Each story is getting better and better. Characters on top of characters, some from previous stories and some that are new. Being a romance lover I am still waiting for Jake to have his “happily ever after”!
I can highly recommend this entire adventure! If you have read the other stories then you already know you want to read this one!! If you haven’t, what are you waiting for!?!

Devil’s Dilemma: Satan’s Devils MC Colorado Chapter Book 4 by Manda Mellett. I have read every single book in this series and also the originals.. I did not think that I could have loved Manda Mellett any more but this book has me totally and utterly in love. I am really unsure how to write this review without giving away anything…….. Melissa didn’t think that she would or could ever be a “bikers chick” she was proven so wrong!!!! She fell in love and he pretty much vanished into thin air. Since she was an ” old lady”, the club would always be there for her. Melissa was claimed, Pyro knows this, he can’t act on his feelings. She is everything that he has always wanted in a woman. Why couldn’t he find her first??
You have to read this book along with the entire series!!!!! This book is so much more then 5 stars!!!!!

Yet again another 5 star read from this amazingly talented author! I am absolutely loving this series so far and Devil’s Dilemma was a fantastic addition to it. As always I was completely hooked into what I was reading from beginning to end. I adored Melissa! She was totally a character I could relate too – I thought she was so genuine and real that I really did feel a connection with her and when things were hard for her I felt every single emotion that she did. I loved Pyro! He was such a lovely character! He had a genuine personality and connection it Melissa – he really wanted to be there for her and help her. I really liked the slower pace to this story as I felt like I suited the characters more, especially for Melissa’s character – she was unsure of herself and had low self-confidence so rushing into certain situations really wouldn’t have worked for her. As always I look forward to more from this author again in the future!

Hitting the high note is the fourth book in the Four Horsemen series written by C.A. King is not the first book that I have read by this author. Her writing is unique and realistic that I couldn’t put this book down that I read it in one sitting especially with all the twist and turns. We meet the four horsemen: Michael, Gabrielle, Uriel and Raphael Now we get to see what Uriel is made of his task is to protect everyone from the gates of Hell opening. For centuries their job has been to guard the gates of hell, making sure they never open. Without the keys, there was never any real threat. That’s about to change. There are rumors on the horizon that demon followers unearthed scrolls that explain exactly how to find the lost keys. This new battle is a race to see which side locates them first. Bekka wasn’t nice to Uriel when they met, she is a woman that loves music. However, she doesn’t socialize very well. Since meeting Uriel, she met another gentleman and now her life is turned upside down. Can Uriel save Bekka? Will Bekka and Uriel make the right decisions? Will he be-able to stop the gates of hell being opened? Will they have a happily ever-after? I highly recommend this amazing book/series but, please read all books in order…

Secrets Never Die by Laurie Lewis took me a little longer than normal to get into, but that was because of all of the distractions of life. By the time I got to the end of this book I couldn’t and didn’t want to put it down.
Tallie grabbed my heart from the beginning and the more I read the more she had my heart. I loved the twists and turns we took together to find out the truth.
Jackson was sweet but relentless in trying to get to the truth. The moment when everything clicked for him I too had an aha moment. I wasn’t expecting the twist at all.
I really liked this book and i almost didnt read it. I’m so glad I did and I will look for others by Ms. Lewis in the future and hope I enjoy them as much as I did.

This fantasy certainly exceeded my expectations by miles. Extremely well written, Christie writes with a level of detail that is mesmerizing without being dry. I was captivated by the world I found myself in and certainly didn’t want to emerge from the pages when it came to its end. I cannot wait to get my hands on the next book in the series. Simply fantastic!

Ailey of Skye is the first book by Wendy Hewlett I have read. It was a fantastic read and I once again fell in love with Scotland and the brogue … The writer tackles topics that are not easy to write about or read about – child trafficking, abuse, addiction … it also tells the story of the love of a family, self-acceptance and love itself … Ailey of Skye is Aileen MacEwan’s discovery of herself, her past, the secrets hidden in the past and at times she feels that she cannot simply continue… it is Aileen’s story of growth and fulfilling her dream… be prepared for a rollercoaster and plan some time as you will not be able to put the book down until you get to the end! It is a nail biting crime thriller that reaches beyond the limits of the genre and I think anyone can find something that speaks to them when reading it. I will be on a lookout for more from Wendy Hewlett and I am happy to have discovered another great writer!

Hitting the High Note by C.A. King is the third book in A Four Horsemen Novel series. I recommend reading the series in order because the books do build onto one another. Uriel, a modern day cowboy, steps in to help make sure the keys to unseal hell are not found. Bekka runs into the man of her dreams, or is he? Her decisions can change the world as we know it. I have enjoyed this series immensely and this did not disappoint. I always enjoy a book by C.A. King but this is my favorite series so far. The characters are wonderful, there are twists and turns, and enough going on to keep me on the edge of my seat.

The Fisher Men On the X by Rebel Nicks O’Dey is the third book in the Fisher Men series. This is an incredible series that everyone definitely needs to read! When I read the previous book in this series I knew it was going to be a hard task to beat it as I enjoyed it so much and yet from the moment I read the blurb of this book I knew Miss O’Dey was certainly going to impress again. This book was definitely about the strong characters, Becca especially. Their history together made their chemistry even stronger and more believable. It was brilliant to see the difference between them. The overall story felt intriguing from the start and drew me in instantly. This has been a fantastic series and I really cannot wait to see what else is to come.

San Diego Dead: An Action Thriller by Mark Nolan is the fourth book in the Jake Wolfe series. This book, and series, is action packed and fast paced and really will leave you wanting to read more and more. I loved this book right from the start. I was instantly drawn into the story and the characters. I absolutely love the relationship between Jake and Cody. This is probably one of the strongest bonds between dog and human I have read in a book before. It was so convincing. The story was really good as well. I felt like it kicked straight off and there was no hesitation in getting into it. It had a punchy story line and was action packed. I was constantly on the edge of my seat wondering how the characters were going to navigate the situation they found themselves in. I was fully engaged and thoroughly enjoyed the whole story. If you haven’t done so already then I definitely recommend you try these books!

Protecting His Heart: A Lawson Family Novel is the second book in the Lawson Family series by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. It is a really great small-town/contemporary romance, with emotion, drama, connection, family, and forgiveness. I really enjoyed the first book in the series, ‘Calling the Curveball’, so when I saw this one, I just knew I had to read it too. This story could be read as a standalone, but as there are some recurring characters, who you will want to ‘meet’, so I really recommend reading the first book before beginning on this one. Ian McCleary is a police officer who has worked hard to get where he is. He is dedicated to his job and takes his responsibilities seriously. Ian is Jamie’s best friend (Book #1) and holds a special place in the Lawson family. But still, he has some baggage from his past that even though he has come so far, a part of him is still a little ‘stuck’ by his experiences. He had been living and working in the big smoke but made the move back to his hometown three years ago. Over time he can’t help but notice things about Rachel he wished he didn’t. It brings out his protective nature- because he knows from firsthand experience what it’s like to live with that burden. But he’s determined to keep things professional, he really can’t afford to cross that line. Rachel holds a dream of marriage and starting a family. But that doesn’t seem possible now, not with the secret she’s been hiding. She’s given up so much, and things don’t look too bright. She feels alone, but she’s too worried to ask for, or accept help…. Then along comes Ian, a Police officer who shows her some much needed kindness. So, what happens when feelings become involve? What happens when her ‘secret’ is revealed? What happens when the past returns? Can Ian and Rachel learn to trust again, and take a chance on love? Or will their past/s snatch away any chance at a future together? This story includes some sensitive subject matter, which played an important part in the foundations to the storyline- but was not used gratuitously. It was used to develop some of the backstory of these complex characters- who have experienced more than their fair share of hurt. The author handled the sensitive nature of these topics with care, but she didn’t gloss over the impact it has on its victims. I also appreciated how she ‘helped’ the characters work through their issues and find a way to sort them out. I though this story was a little heavier on the emotional content than the first book, but it has been a while since I read it- so maybe this one is resonating with me more due to there being 12 months between reading the first book, and picking up this one. I also loved ‘catching up’ with previous characters and seeing how and what they are doing. I love the Lawson’s and I am really looking forward to reading all the books in the series, and getting to know all these characters a little better. They really are coming to feel like ‘old friends’ of mine, ones I would love have over for a BBQ and drinks. If you’ve read the first book, you will know exactly what I mean- and if you haven’t read these books yet, once you read them you will understand what I am getting at. This may only be my second read from Ms. Cramer-Kelly, but I feel like I’ve known her and enjoyed her writing for years. She has such an easy, warm, and fluid style which entices you further and further into the story. That coupled with the wonderful characters, and the great storyline- and it makes it difficult to put down.

C.A. King has done it again. After reading Book #1 I couldn’t wait to see where the story would take us in this one, but one thing that never changes is every time I read one of C.A. King’s books I get totally captivated and thrown into a world that you don’t wanna leave. The writing style that flows from chapter to chapter, it is mentally visual and written with some incredible characters. You are given twists and turns along the way that keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. It’s full of action and adventure and romance. For this being a shorter read, it wasn’t lacking in anything. It is a book and series not to be missed, I highly recommend this book.

Pieces Of A Lie by Rowena Holloway was an excellent mystery fiction novel. The story is told from multiple points of view making the story more complex. The characters were realistic and easy to relate to. It was also easy to visualize each one. The author provided excellent backstory for each as well.
The story itself had an excellent climax and was organized. It was easy to follow along as it progressed. It also seemed professionally edited. I loved sitting and reading this novel. It pulls the reader in with an intense beginning. Excellent book.

Im seriously running out of descriptive words for this author and her series, I can’t say much more than I absolutely love how she takes each book in these multiple book series and makes each one so different and definitely unpredictable.
I’m loving the Colorado Series as much as the Tuscan chapter series and this one totally threw me. I found myself invested quite early on and unable to put it down till the end. This one had a different twist, something I never thought of even while reading it and I loved it!
These characters all had my heart early on, even those that lost it somewhere along the line, and the issues they faced in different aspects of their lives felt real and I appreciated that.
This was not my favorite of all of the books but still ranks up there with loving every second of it and I am thrilled about who gets the next book and I absolutely can not wait!!
Read these books!! All of them all the way back to Book 1 of Tuscan…You will not be sorry!!
