This was an enjoyable read that kept my full attention throughout I just couldn’t set it down. I found myself completely pulled in I just couldn’t pull my eyes away I loved every second. I do enjoy a book with time travel as it isn’t something I read very often so it really excites me to read a different storyline. I also loved how the story had entertaining moments that made me chuckle got to love a story that puts a smile on your face at times!!

Guilty Pleasures Volume 3 is a compilation of short erotic stories that can be read super fast. There isn’t a complex storyline in the stories but more of just the quick sexy read!
This book follows Brad and his sexcapades and wow! Seriously the pages literally singed on how hot every story was! I won’t even lie some of them had me blushing and that’s something that’s hard to do!
I loved this book so much that I’m about to go and hunker down to read the first two volumes!
Surviving Wrath (The Deadliest Sin Series Book 3) by Gwyn McNamee
5 ++++++++ Stars
Trying to figure out why if I’m so angry after finishing this book I am still giving it 5 stars… Well because it brought out emotions that have made it hard to write this review although I finished the book almost a week ago.
I read after the story was done and totally understand what this author was trying to accomplish with this whole series and she did it beautifully, that doesn’t change the fact that I had hopes of some things ending differently. Early in this book I even had an idea of something that might turn into another series after this series was done, taking place in Canada and I think I was just hoping I was right.
With all of the above being said…This series was out of this world amazing. When a group of 3 books can have this sort of affect on me I know beyond a shadow of a doubt this author is in a class of her own, I actually already knew that but this whole series has proven it.
Not going to add anything pertaining to the storyline because it would be nothing but spoilers for anyone that hasn’t read the first two and YOU HAVE to read the first two. They are all short reads packed full of content you need going into this last part.
This author sits firmly in my top favorites and there won’t ever be a book I wont read by her.
I also already want to read all 3 of these again back to back!

The Traitor by India Kells a five-star read that you will adore. Secrets will be revealed in this story and people will surprise you, on occasions some make you want to kiss them and in others they make you want to hurt them. I enjoyed the Debt Collector, but I adored the Traitor, as the characters just seem more real, and more determined. Spenser Knox and Josie Baird will just make you have a need to turn the next page quicker than the last, Josie in particular just made me care for her strength and envy her self-determination. I must say a special mention to Gage, he just had a special sparkle.

This wasn’t a favorite at the beginning. There was too much inter thinking and over thinking. I can see why the author did this but it got old for me fast. All the I’m not good enough or I want to be better thoughts. Some are fine but too much just becomes mind numbing. This is not to say I didn’t like the book because I did. The characters were very secretive but I enjoyed them. The dynamic between Heath/Gabbi and Joe/Gwen was fun. The teasing and advice were great for the story. Heck even Niko, the plumber apprentice, peaked my interest.
Joe is sweet. He tries every day to redeem himself for or past. It was interesting how he tries to show Gwen all that he can do for her. Make her need him…want him….love him. I loved the whole farmhouse idea. He really seemed to see what he wanted. Then do anything to go after and acquire her. He is probably the nicest, sweetest tough guy out there. Is Joe a Sinner or a Saint?

Guilty Pleasures Volume Three by Joyce McCarthy a steamy four-star read. This is a collection of fifteen steamy and saucy reads. They are short and sweet, but they really get your engine revving. Brad and his many, many encounters that will just keep your eyes a popping. There really is something for everyone in this story, they are short and sweet in the right way, sweet like a giant ripe peach ready to be plucked.
Claimed by Via Mari is the third book in the Torzial Affair series. This is a series that I would recommend reading in order as it follows the same characters throughout. This book is the perfect ending to this series. It was everything you could want and more and it has to be my favourite of this series easily. Most of the way through the book it felt like me heart was pounding and I was on the edge of my seat. It was fast paced and such an intense read, I loved it. You really grow to love these characters over the course of the 3 books and that is definitely thanks to the authors fantastic writing. She creates such real and engaging characters. I instantly knew that Brian and Jenny were going to be the kind of characters that I was fully behind. If you aren’t familiar with Via Mari already then I cannot recommend enough that you rectify that immediately!

Mother / daughter relationships are so complex and ever changing. As a woman who recently lost my mother, I was a little worried going into this book. I wasn’t sure what emotions it would evoke.
Real life is stranger than fiction. as shown in this book about finding out who your mother was vs who she is now. I am so glad the author is self aware enough to be able to move on after the example of parenting that was set for her.
The story is written with an unbiased view of a woman who went through some tragic events.
I have always enjoyed this author’s stories and I’m glad to get to know her just a little bit more.

Finding Ruth was an emotional 5 star read about Cynthia’s mother Ruth’s struggle with Alzheimer’s.
Cynthia wanted to know more about her mothers history through the years. As she goes through personal effects etc..she starts to learn about her mother. Ruth had so many different life experiences some good and some not so great, heartbreaking actually.
As Ruth gets older she starts to develop signs of Alzeimers. With this she begins to lose some of the dark and hurtful memories and only remember the good.
Overall this story really tugged at my heart. Having a friend who recently lost a grandmother to this disease brought several emotions out in me. The way that Cynthia writes her story you feel like your right there with her experiencing everything. I was done with this book fairly quickly, once I started I didn’t want to stop. If you’re looking for a great story 1-click and get started today.

I’ve now finished this book and series and find myself at a loss for words. I loved the world that Biglow and Zenk created here. Each book was fantastic. And truthfully I think they saved the best for last. Each story built upon the previous and I became more invested in the characters with each installment. I hate to see this series end but what a final installment. Absolutely loved it!

Guilty Pleasures Volume 3 by Joyce McCarthy is a collection of erotic short stories about Brad and his conquests. It is a very quick and easy read as each story is only a few pages but they are well written and extremely explicit. Any woman who he comes across is not off limits, from a bored housewife, a hooker, his boss and a manager of a hotel, to name but a few. Brad’s exploits are hot, hot, hot and definitely sizzle between the sheets, that is if he makes it there or somewhere else.
If you want something tantalizing, something a little erotic or something light then grab a copy and prepare to be in need of a cold shower.
Simply Irresistible: A Totally Sweet Love Story By Jennifer L. Allen. This story was such a fun read. Tyler and Melanie has me completely hooked. They are so well written I forgot I was reading, they are completely relatable and you can’t help but connect with them. They form a friendship that slowly becomes more and it was so fun to watch. It’s a well written story that had me smiling most of the time. It’s a nice quick read. Characters you’ll love a a wonderful storyline make for an enjoyable afternoon escape to book land. I’m excited to see more from this author. Five stars all the way and highly recommended.

While this is not my normal genre, I must say, I am FULLY impressed by Nichols world-building ability. Put together four fully-fleshed worlds, one intriguing plot, and a unique heroine and you have the makings for an entertaining and enthralling story. The characters and locales are detail-rich and robust, making you feel as if you can see, smell, taste, and feel everything for yourself. Very well done. 5 stars.

This book was a very detailed original read that kept me captivated throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that this story was different from any time travel story I have ever read. I really like the main character and her no nonsense personality and other wonderful characters that are in this book. This was full of action, adventure, wonderful places, and a bit of romance. This isn’t the first book I have read by this author and she never disappoints. This definitely a story that you don’t want to miss out on. I highly recommend this book.
Time Tourist Outfitters, Ltd. By Christy Nicholas. One of the best things about this author is that I love the uniqueness of her stories. While this was wildly outside of my reading comfort zone it didn’t hinder my liking this great story. Not my first read by this author and I definitely won’t be stopping as long as she keeps writing. I love the adventure I’ve been taken on in this story. From page one I was drawn in and knew I was in for quite the ride. The characters are complex and well written with a storyline that comes alive before your eyes. The author takes time to get even the smallest details in. If you’re looking for something a bit different and unique this book is just what you need. Five stars and highly recommend.
Eternity by Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk is the third and final book in the Captivity series. Aiden, Lorelei, and their group have made it to Sanctuary. Will they final be able to let their guard down and relax? Read this exciting book to find out. This is a quick read that I knocked out in one sitting and was worth every minute. I am actually sad to see this series end. I hope the authors delve more into other books in the same vein. I recommend reading these in order because the story is ongoing from book to book. Also, there is a build up on the characters and seeing their development. I really enjoyed this and recommend you to pick it up also.

Finding Ruth: A Daughter’s Quest to Discover her Mother’s Past is the only thing I have read by Cynthia Hamilton. It’s not the type of book I normally read, but it sounded really interesting. It must have been hard for her to write such a lengthy and honest telling of her mother’s life. It wasn’t an easy one, full of glamour, but I bet what she learned explained a lot about her childhood. At times this was hard for me to read, knowing it was a true story, not a sad fictional story of hardship. I did continue to wonder throughout, why Ruth continued to marry, when one marriage after another fell apart. But it was a different time. I cannot speak to how it would have been to be a single mother in those times. I wish more time was spent on the later years, since the description’s mention of Alzheimer’s is what drew me in. It wasn’t brought up until the very end, but I still really enjoyed the story. I never got bored, and kept wanting to know what happened next and if Ruth would ever get her happily ever after. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys biographies about non-famous people. It was a captivating story and I give props to the writer for sharing such a hard story.

In volume 3, we see Brad in 15 different sexcapades from an online meet to running into an old crush. Each story brings its own romance and steamy encounters. If you’re looking for a few quick stories to heat up your bedtime, you need to check out this collection or the other two volumes.
Finding Ruth: A Daughter’s Quest to Discover Her Mother’s Past by Cynthia Hamilton 5 stars
I was drawn to this book as my grandmother had Alzheimer’s and passed away a few years ago. I knew what it felt like for me to watch her slip away but I had no idea what it felt like for my mom and siblings. This book shed a big light on some aspects of that. This was engaging yet emotional. I recommend this book even if you’ve not been affected by this horrible disease.

Shameless (The Orphan Train Saga Book 2) By: Sherry A. Burton 5 out of 5 stars
The story Shameless (The Orphan Train Saga Book 2) by Sherry A. Burton is a historical fiction book. It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It had my emotions going up and down the entire time that I read it. There are heartbreaking and heartwarming scenes in this book. I enjoyed reading about Tobias. His life is one that is a rough and tough one. At an early age, he finds that he has to depend on his wits to survive. A fast learner in the ways of the streets he soon finds himself caught up in the Purple Gang. Along the way he finds Mileta. His protectiveness of her knows no bounds. Read this story to get Tobias’s full story of how he lives and survives. This is a book that touched my heart and I found myself caring about Tobias. He is the product of the time in which he lives. The one bright spot in his life is Mileta. I also enjoyed reading about Cindy and her mother. They continue a journey through the journals that were hidden in the attic. This is a series that I should be read in order as it makes for a better understanding of the storyline of both books. I look forward to more stories in this series. Highly recommended.

In this book, Cindy and her mother continue to find secrets hidden in her grandmother’s journals. We get to see Tobias journey and his struggles. I felt for him as he did what he needed to do to survive. I had a hard time putting this book down, I needed to see what was going to happen at the end. I highly recommend this book.

Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) By: Nicole Banks 5 out of 5 stars
The story Into Pieces (Shattered Hearts Series Book 2) by Nicole Banks is a contemporary/new adult book. It is the next story in a wonderful series. I was hooked from the beginning of the book and soon found myself lost in both the storyline and the characters. I enjoyed reading about the characters of Jasmine and Angel. This is the continuation of their story. They both have demons that they are dealing with. Both believe they are broken. Can they both learn to trust and to lean on each other? There is a crazy physical attraction between them. There is a strong connection and chemistry. Do their hearts belong to each other as well? What does the future hold for Jasmine and Angel? Read this book to find out. This story does have moments that are suspenseful and had me turning pages to find out what happens next. The book also has scenes that are very steamy that make the temperature in the room rise. The additional characters are familiar in this story as they were brought forward from the first book. I enjoyed reading about how they are living. While many of the characters in this story are helpful and have friendly interactions with Jasmine and Angel, there are some who have their own agenda and plans that they want to succeed. I have grown to care about Jasmine and Angel and I can’t help but want them to find happiness. Don’t miss out on a story that you won’t be able to put down until you have read the final page. I highly recommend reading it. This is a series in which the books read in order. This story does have some sensitive content. Reader discretion is advised.

This is the second book in this series, I loved it just as much as the first. I highly recommend reading this series in order to help know where Angel and Jasmine have been to where they are now. In this book we get to know and see a little more of each of these characters. They each are struggling with their own pasts, battle after battle which kept me turning pages just to see what would happen next. Is there HEA in their future? They are awesome characters and their story is a must read.

Eternity: A Paranormal Romance Novella (Captivity 3) By Sarah Biglow and Molly Zenk 5 out of 5 stars!
This story is even harder to put down then the previous two. I was pulled into the shifters adventure from the moment they out their mission plan into motion. After making the heartbreaking decision to leave her precious Dougie behind, Lorelei joins her friends in their most dangerous quest yet, trying to save the future of their kind. Again, Ms. Biglow and Ms. Zenk have used description that makes the reader see the story unfold. The emotions felt by Lorelei, Aiden, Xander, and the rest of the shifters are intense and are real enough to jump off of the page. Each page brings excitement and leaves the reader waiting impatiently to see what happens next. Help yourself to the conclusion of this exciting series by reading Eternity today! Cynthia Hamilton is a vibrant and descriptive writer. This story is fast paced and entertaining. Personally I was confused by the book blurb which explained it was a journey by a daughter to reveal her mother’s past. I would not have known this was the case by just reading the book. I would have liked to have seen the epilogue as the prologue and then lead into the story of Ruth’s life. Miss Hamilton tells the story of her mother’s adventure to find herself the perfect life and the series of attempted and failed relationships along the way. Cynthia relays the relationships that her mother had with her and her siblings as well as the changes to it through the years. Aside from my initial confusion, I found this to be a wonderful account of Cynthia’s journey to know her mother.

Surviving Wrath by Gwyn McNamee is the third book in the Deadliest Sin series. This is a series that does need to be read in order as each one follows the same story and is a continuation throughout. From the moment I started reading this series I knew that I would be in for a ride. After reading the first two books I knew that this one would be the most exciting of them all. And the author definitely takes you on such a ride. It is fast paced and intense right from the start. The book has so many twists and turns the whole way through. I honestly wasn’t sure which way this was ever going to go as this author really isn’t scared to turn things on their head. The characters were so exciting to read about, I simply couldn’t get enough of them. I would have loved if this book were longer as I really didn’t want it to end. If you haven’t read this series then I cannot recommend enough that you put it to the top of your to read pile.

Tails Always Wins is the first book in the Chasing Tails Series by C.A. King. This is a paranormal thriller- with an interesting and thought provoking story, which has a distinct dystopian feel to it. The story is everything I have come to expect from Ms. King- well written, intriguing, engaging, dramatic- and with a bit of a hidden ‘message’. The characters are quite complex, fully developed individuals with their own unique personalities, quirks and flaws- and written so well that they seemed very realistic and believable. We are introduced to Brodie, who lives in a world where the government had imposed quite sever laws- which resulted in the extinction of several species. Now the government has targeted shifters, and Brodie is swept up in the net. He has always led a peaceful life, but now he has to choose to either face imprisonment and possible death- or join in the fight. He is sure there is more to the resistance and the situation than first meets the eye. Is there a hidden agenda? Will he uncover the truth? What will he do when the truth is revealed? And what part does Tails play in the story? All these answers and so much more can be found between the covers of this terrific story. There are challenges to be faced as this adventure unfolds. Brodie and Tails will have to work together to beat the odds and figure things out. I followed along every step of the way as these two grew and developed over the course of the story, learning much about themselves, each other, about the past, and what the future may hold. It was so well done; with a few unexpected developments I definitely didn’t see coming. What a brilliant way to start a new series. I can’t wait to see where we go from here! Bring on Book #2!

The Traitor is the 2nd book in the Underground Bad Boys Series by India Kells. It is a fantastic M/F/M erotic romance novel that will have you gripped from the very beginning. India Kells is an author that has been rapidly climbing up my favourite authors list in the last 18 months and this book is another fantastic example of how great an author she is. I loved both of the main characters. Josie is a young woman struggling with several jobs to pay off debt incurred by her estranged husband. Spencer Knox has recently moved to the town to start a new life. When he realises the horrid conditions she’s living in her insists that she moves in with him and his friend Gage. This is just the start of an erotic relationship between the 3 of them. The sex scenes between the 3 of them are very hot and steamy. You may need a fan to cool yourself down. It becomes apparent after a while that Josie and Knox would prefer it to just be the 2 of them in the relationship. There is more to this book than just hot sex (although that is damn good). Knox has a battle with his demons over his growing feelings for Josie. Josie’s estranged husband makes an unwanted appearance which puts Josie in danger. I also loved that we had an appearance from Locke and Tessa from the first book in this series. I hope that this is not the end of this series and that India Kells gives us more from the Underground Bad Boys.
