The story Ice Crown (The Elements of Kamdaria Book 1) by Kay L. Moody is a YA/fantasy book. It is a story that hooks you in from the beginning and that I didn’t want to put it down until I had finished. I loved reading about the character of Talise. She is truly a gifted and talented girl. She can manipulate the elements. She has a chance at a better life as a Master Shaper, rather than one where death is a constant in the Storm. She finds herself in competition with another student, Aaden. What will happen when a loved one causes Talise to have to choose between her past and her future? I loved reading about how both Aaden and Talise use their talents. The story is detailed, and I found myself feeling like I was right there with the characters. There are a few other characters that are introduced and enjoyed reading about. There are times when the book is suspenseful. It is a story I would recommend reading.

The Arrangement Duet Box Set by Madison Quinn contains the 2 full novels ‘On His Terms’ and ‘On Her Terms’. I was already a fan of Madison Quinn having read, and loved, her 2 Dark Water Security books: Luke and Garrett. I had high hopes before reading this duet and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I absolutely loved this duet.
Billionaire Nicholas Parker has been burned by a previous girlfriend and does not want to get into another relationship. When his business becomes under threat due to his lack of a steady relationship he enters into an agreement with Kenzie Rose for her to play the part of his loving girlfriend. Kenzie’s previous relationship ended badly as her fiancé regularly abused her, on occasion leaving her close to death. The arrangement with Nicholas would be perfect for her as it would allow her to finish her degree and move out of the hell hole apartment she was staying in.
I adored both Kenzie and Nicholas. Both of them are so broken in different ways. The slow burning, simmering attraction between the 2 of them is so angst filled. You just can’t help rooting for this couple to give into the growing feelings they have for each other and have a HEA. Madison Quinn has a knack for writing amazing characters that you can relate to. Not just the main characters but also the secondary characters play a valuable role in adding to the great storyline.
If I could give this Duet more than 5 stars then I would do so. Amazing!!

I am not sure what I was expecting with a title like OF WAR AND TATERS but I had to give it a read. I loved Ashley Chappell other stories so I knew it was going to be good. This story had me laughing so hard that my dog even looked at me like I was crazy. When you take a small town that have a variety of characters and what do you get? OF WAR AND TATERS is the answer. Ashley Chappell has created a great small town atmosphere. There is chaos a foot. The town of Merit really does not know what will be happening next. There is media coming into the town, a circus, and no one is getting along. If that was not bad enough there is a ghost bringing even more trouble in the town. Sheriff Stanley is on the case and he is trying to keep everyone safe. Will the chaos ever settle down? Will Sheriff Stanley figure out what is going on? Just take some time and read the fun story OF WAR AND TATERS.

A great read about the sea. Nerissa is a fisherman’s daughter living in ancient Greece. One day, her father returns home with no fish, sparking rumors of a legend and bad omens across the village. While he is gone, Nerissa faces the prospect of finding someone to marry before she is forced into a marriage with an abusive man named Cete. Can she find a solution to her problems?
A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Nerissa standing up for herself but anxious underneath or Zeer mysterious but caring underneath. Great cast of supporting characters like the fun friend Eirene or the cruel Cete.
I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like with the storm and its rain and wind for a sense of danger and foreboding events and also a sense of beauty to it aswell. Or the sense of the grecian town with its cobbled streets and colourful markets full of sounds and smells and wares. Or Poseidons kingdom later on with its hidden world full of magic and wonder with colourful jewels and marvellous palaces wonderfully written.
The switch of perspectives was done well to display both sides of the story and was easy to follow with names in the chapters. Also loved how it brought the reader straight into the action with the storm in the prologue I .
grabbing the readers attention from the start. I also liked the sense of mystery with the legend, giving it a magical sense and making you wnat to read on to find out what happens. A wonderful example of world building with fantatsical beings and gods living alongside humanity with their own rules and laws and societies. I loved the use of mythology with Poseidon and mermaids and sirens given the respect they deserve and true to their origins. Overall, a great read and I would give it five stars

September Breeze by Nikki Lynn Barrett is book two of A Cinnamon Bay Romance Series. This book can be read as a standalone. I couldn’t put this book down. There was so much emotion, I just had to read through to see how it all played out.

Brian is a single father of two. His daughters are troubled after experiencing the loss of their mother. He really needs a long term nanny that won’t quit after dealing with his two girls. Tess doesn’t often stay in one place very long. It’s too hard not to try to out run her painful past. When a chance to write songs on a movie set brings her to Cinnamon Bay, she can’t help but want to stick around for a bit which ends up leading her to Brian’s door. Brian needs long term and Tess doesn’t do long term. She changes their lives instantly but will she be able to stick around for them?

I really enjoyed this book! It was definitely emotional at times but you could connect to the characters and were invested in their story.

Happily Ever After – Brothers of Camelot Style is a short story in the Brothers of Camelot series by Necie Navone. This is the detailed story of Bella and Fitz’s fairy tale Camelot wedding. I love this series. The characters are amazing and the story flows smoothly. I would recommend reading these stories in order to get the full backstory. The author really packs a punch with this emotion filled love story. I love that we get more of the different Brothers information. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time and I look forward to whatever Ms. Navone has in store for us next.

Proper Impulse is the fourth book in the Jaded Lily Series by Zeia Jameson. All of the stories in this series can be read as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend you read the series in order. All of the books in this series are excellent. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. The characters were true to life and relatable. This is Juniper and Milo’s story and I just love how Milo is flawed by his perfection. Juniper is strong willed and unbending in her pursuit of helping people. It is an amazing story of how opposites attract. I can’t wait to read what Ms. Jameson has in store for us next.

Happily Ever After- Brothers of Camelot Style is the sequel to The Only One by Necie Navone. It continues the story of Drake (Fitz) and Isabella (Bella) as they get married. Bella vowed she would marry him one day, when she was just 4 years old, but after being ripped away in her teens by her mother, they both kissed that dream goodbye. But then years later Isabella returned and claimed what was hers. Drake used to live by the motto “One and Done,” never sleeping with the same girl twice. Now he is vowing Bella is his “One and Only.” The story takes place the week of their fairy tale Camelot style wedding. I love all these stories, and adore the whole bunch of Camelot men and their Camelot Wenches. Their friendships and family ties are wonderful, and each character has their own personality. They tease each other mercilessly but its all done with love. I highly recommend this whole series, and recommend you read them in order to get the full background stories.

I loved reading this book. It pulled me in right away with its mystery, intrigue, and even a twist on Greek mythology. The characters were strong and very connectable. This is a very talented author and I will continue to read her books for the foreseeable future. I enjoyed how the beginning of the book laid a good foundation so you could keep up when the action and twists and turns took place. I highly recommend this book and I can’t wait to read the next book from this wonderful author.

Bound was a great 5 star read and book 2 in The Torzial Affair series.
I was excited to get my hands on this book, I couldn’t wait to see where things would go from here.We pick up where book one left off.

Jenny is being considered a suspect in her exe’s death. She has also been targeted by the mafia. She is still a little on edge with Brian but he has been great, supporting Jenny and being there for her. There is so much more but I don’t want to give anything away.

We get action, suspense, mystery, romance and so much more. All of the secondary characters were great. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. Via Mari does a great job with her writing, she pulls you right in. There are many unexpected twists and turns. If you’re looking for a gripping romantic suspense that you can’t put down than 1-click and get started today on this great series.

Bound is the fabulous second installment in the Torzial Affair novels from the ever-talented Via Mari. I would recommend HIGHLY that you read book one, Shattered, before you dive into this one. There is some major groundwork laid out in that one that makes this book possible. I will be doing my best to not divulge any spoilers but I can say that this is the continuation of Jenny and Brian’s story. They have a whole set of obstacles to overcome, will they be able to do it together and without compromising their love for one another in the process? It was one heck of a ride with plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes and enthralled as you read. I love the way that Via Mari can spin a tale with an originality. Even if it is an old trick so to speak as far as story lines go she manages to sweep you away in a flurry you wouldn’t expect. I can’t wait to see what will come in the series next. I am sure it will be enthralling and wonderful.

A Divided Mind by M. Billiter was a unique read that was a completely different then I thought it would be.

I went into this book thinking it was a thriller but, it was more like a life contemporary, about metal illness, and how this family had to face that life challenge. So it was a little off putting for me that this wasn’t the thriller I was hoping for, but overall I did like this story. You can tell a lot of care and research went into making the read as emotional and realistic as possible.

I will say that, the mother was not my fave, as this book was told in dual POV, you got a few different angles. She has expansive taste, but complained about the financial stress; seemed like she didn’t have her priorities all that straight. I just couldn’t connect all that well with her. Branson on the other hand, was a well written complex character, that drew me in, and really made this story for me. I love when it was his POV, and that’s what kept me reading.

Overall this book is a surprise, and it as a whole, is quite the multi-layered tale about a families journey through the effects that mental illness has on not only the MC, but his family circle as well. On that note this book gets my high recommendation and my stamp of approval

Happily Ever After- Brothers of Camelot written by Necie Navone was a fun and entertaining addition to the series. Definitely read the first book (The Only One) as you get more background of the story and characters. I loved reading all the stuff that lead up to the wedding and I loved how close net the family was. I really enjoyed the characters Bella and Fitz and was happy to get more story of them. Overall I enjoyed the book. And have nothing I would personally critique. I think Necie did a great job! 4 star rating.

A Divided Mind by Mary Billiter was a really emotional read. I would give this book four out of five stars. Branson is your all american boy that hears voices. Only his self awareness and communication with his mom gets the ball rolling on dealing with the voices. This book really pulled at my heartstrings, as a mom of a young boy I could not imagine going through this scenario. Tara’s strength and determination to deal with what live as dealt her was admirable.

This book was excellent! The story was great, towards the middle I was starting to get confused but the way it was wrapped up at the end was nice and clear. The characters are wonderfully written and easy to love.

The way this story was written, and the thought and planning that went into it blew my mind. I didn’t pick it up really until the end but was extremely happy with the outcome.
The two main characters of Amelia and Toby meet my chance in England and fall in love with a quickness. Amelia suspects something is going on because of the dreams she continues to have and the men in black she sees following her and Toby around. Toby on the other hand knows what is happening but can’t bring himself to tell Amelia without ruining what they have.

When the men in black finally catch up to the couple it may be too late.

I would HIGHLY recommend reading this book. You will not be disappointed. There is not much in the way of romance, just more loving words and kissing but it is perfect for this story.

Beau & Bett by Kathryn Berla. This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast with the roles reversed. It is loosely based on the story. Its the story of Beau LeFrancois and Bettina Diaz. They meet when Beau’s mom wrecks Bett’s luxury SUV and doesn’t have the money or insurance to cover the damage. Luckily no one was injured. Beau’s dad is out of work and his mom having this wreck causes his family major financial stress so Beau goes to the Diaz’s Ranch and asks if he can work off the debt for his family. He’s heard of “Bett” and her being called “The Beast” because of her crazy temper but he plans on just staying away from her and doing his job. Only Bett is fascinated with Beau and almost follows him along like a puppy. When Beau really gets to know Bett her realizes there is more to her than just a temper. His feelings begin to change towards her. Is he actually beginning to have feelings for “The Beast’? Read Beau & Bett to find out if their romance makes it! Sweet short story!

I have read a couple of books from this author and she continues to blow my mind. This is the fourth book of the Jaded Lily series. I have been wanting this story for a while and it was worth the wait. I stopped everything and started to read this book right away. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this incredible story.

Officer Milo Cipriani takes his job very seriously. He always does what is right. Milo is on his shift when he sees some suspicious activity. He gets out of his car to see what is going on and that’s when he meets the beautiful Juniper Jensen. They can’t help but feel an instant attraction but they are the total opposite. Milo knows right from wrong but Juniper wants to help people even when it is wrong. Will these two be able to find a compromise or will they destroy one another?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, conflict, and forgiveness. You can’t help but fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Milo has always followed the rules. He loves his job and he will not give it up for anything. Juniper wants to help people even when it could be wrong. She wants to make the world a better place no matter what. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what she will write about next.

Beau and Bett is a brilliant modern take on a classic fairytale. I’ve read many books by Kathryn Berla and this by far my favourite. I was hooked from the get-go with this read, and even with it being a quick read I felt a-lot went on and we got a good insight into both Beau & Bett journeys. Both the main characters had great interactions with each other and I loved getting to know them both, you grew to love them both in different ways and wish they would get a HEA. This is definitely an all-rounder read, that can be enjoyed and loved by all.

I highly recommend this read, and cant wait to read more from this author!

Time Tourist Outfitters, Ltd by Christy Nicholas is a unique and interesting book. Once I had started reading this I could not put it down.
This author certainly specialises in writing stories set in years gone by and she has done another effortless job this time. However with this book she shows that she has the skill to cover a range of decades easily while keeping the story fresh.
I loved the whole premise of the story. It’s not quite like anything I have read before which made it more exciting to read. The characters were interesting and fit well with the story the author has created. This is a brilliant book and it has to be my favourite one from this author so far.

This is a compilation of fifteen erotic stories. Brad is at it again and finds himself in a bunch of hot and sexy situations. There is enough variety in the stories that should entice and satisfy everyone. Hit sex and dirty talking abound, this is definitely not for the shy types. I enjoyed all the stories but the top one for me had to be Fireworks with Strangers. A must read if you’re feeling sexy.

Milo and Juniper, he’s a police officer who is a by the books with no blurred lines.That is until he meets Juniper and she’s a strong independent woman who helps those in need even if it’s not exactly legal. There is definitely a attraction between these two. Can they have a future together? Find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading not only this book but if you haven’t read the first books in this series I recommend reading those as well.

This has quickly become one of my favorite series. I love all the friendship and family bonds that are portrayed and the dialogue between these characters is so comfortable and I want to be right in the middle of it all. I want to be adopted by all these parents!

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this book, I definitely had not had enough of Fitz and Bella and this was even more than I had hoped for. Revisiting these characters has made me want to go back and reread them all again, I am so completely invested in these stories and Im convinced I saw some things unfolding in this little gem that is giving us a preview of what is to come for a couple people **fingers crossed**

The twists that came about in this book were awesome! I actually laughed/cried at one point both at the same time even though I knew it was coming since I picked up a reaction earlier on.

I Highly Highly recommend reading every single book leading up to this one, there is way too much that happens before and to completely appreciate everything in this book you must have it all.

Can not wait, SERIOUSLY till the next book…I know I have said this in previous reviews but although I want them all Hawkins is the one I hope comes really soon!

A Divided Mind by M. Billiter was a lot different to what I had expected- not really in a bad way but definitely not what I thought I’d be reading. I snapped this book up thinking I was getting a thrilling mystery with perhaps a psychological aspect to the story, but instead found a contemporary fiction story focusing on mental illness and how the individual, his family, and friends come to terms with it all. I may have been a little disappointed to begin with, but after reading the story I can honestly say that I don’t regret purchasing this book.
Branson’s story is quite emotive, and it made me think. It has an edgier rawness to the story, but it definitely isn’t a thriller. It was interesting- as the author shows the effects that mental illness can have not only on the individual, but also on their family, and all their other relationships. There is a definite adjustment period, a turbulent time full of struggles, that really tugged at my heartstrings. The author gives detailed insight into the Schizoaffective Disorder- as well as exploring the relationship between Branson and his mother, as well as his twin brother, and other siblings.
The story came across as really well planned, thought-out, and researched- it’s given me plenty to ponder, that’s for sure.

Happily Ever After is a part of the Brother of Camelot written by Necie Navone and it was awesome I just love Ms. Navone’s writing and what she has accomplished in this series. The plot is awesome the characters are strong and well written. We get to see all the Camelot brothers and what there up to while getting ready for the wedding.

There was a boy and girl who fell in love the moment they met, only to be ripped apart in their teens before their love could blossom.

Fitz, never forgot his Bella and he grew up to become the bitter Camelot Brother, known as the man-whore of the group, with a motto of “One and Done” in order to drown out the memories of his lost Bella. Little did he know his childhood sweetheart was closer to him than he realized.

So with the help of the Camelot brothers they plot to get Bell and Fitz together again.

When Fitz gets his Bella back he is a changed man and he is not letting his Bella go ever again.

I highly recommend this book/series and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Navone has in-stored for us next with the Brothers of Camelot.

Finding Ruth: A Daughter’s Quest to Discover Her Mother’s Past by Cynthia Hamilton is a real life, lightly fictionalized story about the author’s own mother. As her mother succumbed to Alzheimer’s, Ms. Hamilton realized that there were parts of her mother’s life, and aspects of her mother, that she really didn’t know- so she set about discovering the woman underneath it all.
This story was emotional, thought-provoking, and full of life’s complexities- with dubious choices, strength, spirit, hard work, resilience, perseverance, ups and downs, heartache, difficulties, obstacles, heart, and soul. This memoir was beautifully written and was a poignant and emotive read!

Undercover is the second book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. You can read it as a standalone, but it makes a better read if you’ve read other books in the Prestian series and the Torzial Affair series.

Overall this is a good read. There were a couple of parts toward the beginning that grated on me a little, but it wasn’t enough to ruin the whole story. Undercover starts off with a bang and maintains a good pace throughout. There are plenty of steamy scenes and suspenseful moments to keep your attention to the very end. It took me a little bit to warm up to Matt…that Princess bit just was not working for me. I enjoyed Marenah’s feistiness, and how many layers there are to her character.

This series is completely addicting! You can’t help but fall for these characters and their story! This whole series has lived up to my expectations and then some.
This is Bella and Fitz’s story and they were completely made for one another. I love how they were separated for a period of time but the love didn’t die. Fitz is utterly swoon worthy and you can’t help but just fall for him!
This series should be on everyone’s must read list. Each story will engage you from the moment you start reading until the last page. I guess you could read this book as a standalone but I wouldn’t suggest it not only because the series is awesome but you really get to know the character’s in all the other books!
