I am new to this author. I got this book because of the synopsis and the tattooed guy. I regret NOTHING! This book was amazing from cover to cover. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down, I finished it in one day! It was very well written and the author has a way of making you fall in love with the characters. The story line was remarkable and I would highly recommend this story to anyone into romance novels. I look forward to reading more in the series and more from this author!
Blackbird’s Deliverance is the fourth book in the Silent Secrets Series by Lisette Kristensen, Her stories are always a good read. She hooks the readers at the very beginning. It is that hook that makes you want to finish the book. I love reading her stories because she likes to have women characters being the heros. She builds the characters story up from the beginning and with every story, Blackbird gets stronger and more of a bad mama jammer. One thing was for sure at some point and time, Blackbird’s past life would catch up with her present life. Will Blackbird handle the internal struggles or will it break her to pieces? Can she move forward with her new love interest?

Orion’s Kiss by Claire Luana My rating 4 out of 5 stars
Orion’s Kiss is a fun read. There is so much going on in this book, magic, mystery, drama, and a little bit of romance.
Meriah or Merope as she is known as, is the daughter of Atlas. She spends lifetime upon lifetime trying to find ways to break the curse on her and her sisters. The curse causes all of her sisters to die at the hands of the God Orion.
Orion is her enemy as he is the one killing her sisters, but it seems that Orion and Meriah start a romance that may not be in the cards. It looks like Meriah will have to kill Orion in order to break the curse and save her sisters from dying again.
Overall a great read. I loved the Greek mythology and history that was thrown in. I would highly recommend this book.

Sidney is her father’s daughter, she would rather be doing research than attending the balls girls of her age and class normally do. She hates the double standard of the men of the ton getting away with things that would ruin a lady if she were to do the same. So she decides to put her research skills to the test. She decides to trade her practical clothing for something much more alluring and act like the giggly girl they expect. She wants to see if her theory is true. But she may have gotten in a little too deep. She has 3 men fighting for her, and things are moving much more quickly than she could have imagined. Will she be able to walk away with her data or will she disgrace herself and her family? Or will she find what she never expected — love?
I enjoyed this historical romance. It is fun to see a strong woman buck a society that was all male. Sidney and Sophia are great characters. I hope to see more of Sophia in future books. But the other secondary characters are great too and I hope we also see more of them. There is so much more to develop in the world. You never know just what Sidney will do next or how her suitors will react. We cannot forget the romantic part of this story too. The men all love at her differently, and she starts seeing things in a different light too.
If you are a fan of historical romance, this fun story is for you.

This is one of my favourite books of 2019 so far! I absolutely LOVE historical romance reads, it is by far my favourite genre – I could read them all day every day and this one was just fantastic! I loved everything about this story, the plot, the characters the author beautiful descriptive language – everything just made this story come alive whilst I was reading it. Sidney was a fantastic female lead, I love when authors write about strong, independent females in this time period – they are so much more exciting to read about. I loved Sidney’s approach to ‘dating’ she certainly had a plan and intended to stick to it! I can’t wait to read more from this series – I have a feeling it’s going to bout a wonderful collection of characters in my favourite time period!

Another great read by this author! I was intrigued when I first read the blurb for this story, it didn’t pull me in like I expected but it sounded really different and having read a book by this author previously I wanted to give it a go because I wanted to see where the series was going – I am so glad I did give it a go! I loved that I had no idea what was going to happen, the author threw in some great twists and turns – she has this writing style that captures your interest straight away and doesn’t let you out of the story until the very end. It followed on fro book 1 well and I was back in with Sorrel and her story straight away. I highly recommend Blood Relation – it’s an action packed read full of suspense and great characters!
Another fantastic 5 star book in this series! I honestly cannot get enough of this author and her amazing writing. Her books are so exciting to read and I just love the characters that she creates. Blackbird’s Deliverance may have been a short story but it was crammed full of action which started straight away. I loved reading more about Blackbird she is such a wonderful character, so strong and determined in everything that she does. There were some great twists and turns and I certainly found myself on the edge of my seat on more than one occasion! I cannot wait to see if there is more to come from this series – I really hope that there is!!

Hamilton is at it again. Bringing adventure and mystery and a little bit more romance to Madeline and Mike. Their latest adventure includes some dead husbands and confused widows. Even Madeline isn’t free from the danger her ex-husband brings but with Mike’s help and the help of her staff at MDPI nothing is going to get in Maddie’s way of solving these mysteries!
I am really enjoying the adventures that Hamilton is able to put Mike and Madeline through. Just enough danger to worry, just enough mystery to wonder, just enough love to keep us hoping. Hamilton’s writing style hasn’t changed from Book 1. She is definitely on a roll with this series. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

This is my first book by this author and although I seriously enjoyed it, it took me a bit to get in to it, and there were parts I had to go back and reread because at times it was hard to follow or a bit wordy.
This was about 2 young girls that started out as friends and then became sisters and their journey through foster care into adulthood. The storyline was amazing and the attention to detail was done perfectly. Living the same story through two different perspectives was unique and I did by the middle of the story find myself completely invested and I could not put the book down.
I loved the bond between Madigan and Grace and watching them both deal with life in their own ways was awesome. I love crime stories and I love trying to figure it all out with them and I will say this one totally threw me, and that’s what makes me love reading this genre.
I highly recommend this story and I can’t wait for more from this author.

It has been awhile since I read the 1st in this series, which I loved by the way and it says a lot about an author in my opinion when I pick another book up down the road after reading a trillion in between and the whole first comes back to me immediately..The characters from the first book weave through this one and we met the mains of this one in the first book. I’m not normally a fan of books running alongside each other in some parts but in this one it definitely worked.
What can I say about Luca? I fell head over heels for him and my heart completely shattered for him, I loved getting to know him as he fascinated me in the first book. I love his friendship with Padraig and his connection with Kerry was off the charts hot and completely awesome. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd book I’ve read where the whole story is told from the lead male’s perspective and I loved it!!
This author transported me into this story and I could see everything described, Luca was an artist and I swear I could see and feel all that he did. It was awesome!
You could probably read this as a standalone but I am so glad I didn’t and I can not wait for the next story in this series.
Whom Shall I Kiss… An Earl, A Marquess, or A Duke? (Tricking the Scoundrels Book 1) by Laura A. Barnes is a wonderful historical romance book. I loved the storyline and the characters and often found myself laughing out loud at some of the thoughts and antics of the characters. It is a story I found myself not wanting to put it down turning page after page. I enjoyed Laura’s writing and the plot was well thought out. The MC is quite charming and is very likable, and I found myself enjoying the trouble she found herself in. I also enjoyed the character of Noah he is swoon worthy scoundrel but a fun character.
Sidney is a young socialite who does not play by the rules. She has decided to do an experiment to prove her theory on the goings on of the men of the ton. But what happens when the wheels are turned. Will she lose her chance at love.
It is a heartwarming tale and one who should not be missed. I look forward to Phee’s story next.

The Dreamer’s Vengeance by Helen Tyree is a YA fantasy story that is action packed and a little dark in some places. This is my first read of Helen’s work and I enjoyed the story and I found her writing to be creative and unique and the well developed characters. Helen wove her tale that takes you on a vivid journey. There are many main characters and each of them tell their story throughout. The only problem I had was that there is no clear definition of when the characters are telling their story so I had to backtrack a little at times until I got the bones of Helen’s writing. It is a story that you will sit and devour as you need to know how it will all end. What happens when greed and lies call to you?
It is an enjoyable read and any YA who loves fantasy will like it too.

This is a wonderful story about past lives and love and how things we think about someone turn out to be untrue.
Meriah Carmichael is a young teenage girl in this life, however she was a half- nymph, half Titan in a previous life. Thanks to Zeus her and her sisters end up cursed, her part of the curse is that she gets a new life every time she dies but she has to watch her sisters die at the hands of Orion.
This time she plans to end this curse by killing Orion. However Orion isn’t who she thinks he is and love grows between them as they set off together as a team to break the curse.
It was an amazing story filled with highs and lows and proves that love can do anything

I loved the fact that Sidney has such an analytical mind and is putting it to use in order to expose the men who ruin reputations of women for fun. It was a bit difficult to suspend my disbelief that any of these men would actually face any repercussions at all but you never know, so I kept on reading. With a bit of a scientific mind myself, I honestly think I was more drawn to the parameters and different aspects of Sidney’s research than any other bits of the story. I kept wondering how she was going to make sure all of her information was going to be accurate if she was mostly going off memory. My first thought would be that Sophia would be helping take notes but she immediately struck me as to timid/ sensible to jeopardize her own future for this, and I would not blame her one bit. In comparison to a few other books I have read based around this time period and the life of the ton, Whom Shall I Kiss? is a lovely difference from other heroines who are concerned with family and finding a good match because it’s expected. While they each had their own nuances, I felt I could relate more to Sidney than others. Very excited for the next book.

I loved Two Hearts Under Fire, by Tamara Ferguson. I have read most of the books in the Two Hearts Wounded Warrior Romance series, and have liked every one I’ve read. This, like the others, can be read as a stand alone book. The main 2 characters are unique to this story, but some of the supporting characters overlap the other stories. This is the story of Russ Quinlan and Claire Ellis. I love the characters and the connections made. There are some secrets revealed at the end, which I loved! Russ is an airman, and is being framed and on trial, being blamed for conspiring and setting up a capture on one of his prior missions. One day after his trial, he goes to the house of his friend Brand. Brand isn’t home, but he meets Claire there, and before they even have time to exchange pleasantries, they are being shot at. They go on the run together, avoiding the gunman, not even sure which of them was the target. Their escape turns into a grand adventure, where sparks fly as they try to find safety. But, is the chemistry between them real, or the result of the adrenaline rush of being on the run? Read and find out!

Blood Relations (The Sorrel Janes Mysteries) by Lonna Enox 5 stars
I really loved the first book in this series, and this one just turned it up a notch on the mystery, suspense and just overall twists. We still follow Sorrel and her bad luck of having bad things happen around her. I can’t go into too many details as its best to read about it, but this author has such a way to drag you along for this whirlwind ride and just when you think you have an idea of what is going on, it changes. Again I was frustrated with Reed, even more this time than the first. But as an officer I get it to a point, for the secrecy. I just wanted to shake him a little (hes fictional it wouldn’t hurt him lol) Again, I am loving this series and can’t wait to see what happens next.
Happily Ever After by Necie Navone is a Novel in the Brothers of Camelot series. This is a brilliant series! If you aren’t familiar with it, or this author, then you need to change that right now. Bella and Fitz has such a connection between them. You can feel the chemistry on every single page. The whole book was well written. You really feel like you are there with the characters. The author does a great job of creating that picture for you. I am already excited to see what else there is from this author and would recommend you try her today!

Claire Luana has done it again, this isn’t my first book from this author but each time I read a book from her I once again get transported into the world she has created, and this one is no different! I found this read to be mentally visual and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved her take on Greek Mythology, it is something that gets recreated a-lot but Claire Luana has a way with creating her stories that are magical. I was totally captivated with this read from the start, and the more I read the more addicted I got with the storyline and the characters. My only issue with this read is that we didn’t get a POV from Orion, there were definite times when this was needed, just to give us that little bit extra of Orion.
I can’t wait to see what else is to come from this author, she will definitely be another one of my go-to authors from now on! But until then! Don’t miss Orion’s Kiss – You won’t be disappointed!

I loved this story! This is a well written story with well developed characters. This was an emotional roller coaster for me. One minute I was laughing and the next crying but loving it all the same. This is Pru’s story. When she finds out that she has cancer, instead of feeling sorry for herself she takes life on where she meets Cassius. Life throws them curveballs, will they come out okay together? They support each other and made me feel part of their story. A must read!

I loved reading about the character of Prudence Penderhaus. While some may think of her as a freak or weirdo, I found her to be independent and caring. She has a determination when needed and doesn’t back down from what she believes is right. She finds herself on the porch of the house that the town has dubbed a spook house. There she meets a boy that no one knew existed. What does the future hold for Prudence? Who is the boy that she meets? Read this book to find out. Prudence is also facing a medical issue that she would rather ignore. I couldn’t help but care about Prudence with each chapter that I read. The story has mystery and suspense that will keep you guessing and wondering what is going to happen next. Don’t miss out on a wonderful story that has unforgettable characters. One thing I love about a well written novel is how you can completely lose yourself amongst the pages and forget about everyday life and just feel like your part of the story and this novel certainly delivered that! I couldn’t put it down the character’s were brilliantly developed and the storyline was amazing I just couldn’t pull my eyes away I wanted to devour the book and can’t wait to read more from this author! I love how I was taken on a incredibly magical journey all I was missing was a cheeky glass of wine and I would of been on cloud 9!

Jumping the Shark is the fifth book in the Paranormal Talent Agency Series by Heather Silvio. As I have come to expect from Ms. Silvio, this was a really fun paranormal mystery, with some supernatural elements, politics, murder, intrigue, danger, some suspense, quirky and interesting characters, and of course, a sweet romance. This book may be a short, easy read- but there is nothing lacking about the content. I was really intrigued about following Barbara through her story- especially considering her involvement in previous stories. I wasn’t sure her ‘story’ would live up to the other books, but I shouldn’t have doubted Ms. Silvio, because Jumping the Shark certainly doesn’t disappoint- in fact this has become my favourite of the series, so far- with only one book left to come! I love how all the books combine to build a bigger picture and things that were ‘started’ in previous books finally begin to/come together in this book. We catch up with familiar characters from previous books, as well as a few new ones- which added an extra element of interest to the story. I really enjoyed the clever mystery and the great tension that Ms. Silvio managed to create in her story. I could tell she put a lot of thought, imagination, heart, and soul into her work- the story is a credit to her writing talents. This definitely has an original spin on the paranormal romance/mystery theme. And as I have said previously with the other books, that I think that the stories and premise would make a fun television series, too. I am excited to read the final instalment, although it will be a bittersweet moment!

Proper Ink is the 2nd book in the awesome Jaded Lily series by Zeia Jameson. Most of the storyline runs concurrently with the first book in the series, Proper Irish. I had devoured the first book in one sitting and this one was a repeat performance. We had met both of the main characters in Proper Irish and I was really looking forward to reading Luca and Kerry’s story. Luca Cipriani is a wonderful character. Having been seriously heartbroken in the past, he doesn’t let anyone in to his little bubble. His life revolves around the tattoo shop that he owns, Jaded Lily. I loved that we are given so much of Luca’s history, from his heartbreak and to how he came to be friends with Padraig (hero of Proper Irish) and then become a tattoo artist. Kerry Frazier is a sweetheart. Best friend and working partner of Stella from the first book. She’s intrigued by Luca and wants to help him move on. I loved that this book is told from Luca’s point of view as it really allows the reader to understand the pain and struggle he has gone through. This series has grabbed me so far and I can’t wait to read more of it. Highly recommended.

I truly love this author. I have read several of her novels and have never been disappointed. This is another beautifully written story. It is based on Orion and the Pleiades sisters. I’ve always loved greek mythology and I enjoy when authors incorporate it into their stories.
Meriah is actually one of the Pleiades sisters, Merope. She has been stuck in a loop of constantly being reincarnated to watch her sisters die by Orion’s hands. In each lifetime, she has tried to stop their deaths to no avail. She decides that this lifetime will be different. If she gets rid of Orion then he can’t harm her sisters. Realizing she can’t kill someone in cold blood, Meriah has to come up with plan b.
It was a light read with a dark edge to it. The story was well written with solid characters. I enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more from this author.

A great read about culture. Stella is a party planner trying to organise a St Patrick’s Day Ball. She tries her best to arrange it despite the customers picky pacularities. But on meeting her stepson in the garden, Stella is infused with new ideas that go against everything her boss and customer wants. But at the end of the day is honour better than coin? A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Stella standing up for herself but kind underneath or Padraig tough on the outside but caring on the inside. Great cast of supporting characters like the sweet and motherly Moira or the fun friend Kerry. A great antagonist in Rachel, perfectly done and not too much. I loved the visual detail throughout the novel like the sense of the town with cobbled streets and small shops and everyone knowing each other. Or the garden with its green grass and the sunlight and pretty magnolia flowers. Or the scenes with the fountain with its relaxing water for a sense of calm wonderfully written. Or the scenes in moiras House with the use of the senses with taste and smell so strong its as if you’re actually there loved the sense of the novel starting straight in with the action, captivating the reader from the start. I also loved the use of Irish culture, with its food and traditions given the respext and love they deserve. Over a, a great read and I would give it five stars

The story Happily Ever After – Brothers of Camelot Style by Necie Navone is an amazing book to read. It hooked me from the very beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. I love reading about the characters of Fitz and Bella. They are a couple whose love is meant to be. They were separated for a while however with help from his Brothers they have been brought back together. I love reading about the bantering that goes back and forth between Fitz and Bella. They are about to get their Happy Ever After. I enjoyed reading about the interactions that the couple had with the Brothers and family. The story will keep your interest all the way through and is exciting to read. I have loved this series since the first book. I highly recommend both the series and this story. You will not be disappointed.

Orion’s Kiss by Claire Luana is an interesting and is a quick read. It is a YA paranormal story that is a twist on Greek mythology tales. Claire has a knack for writing unique stories and this one is no different. It is full of everything needed to make this read enjoyable, mystery and suspense, action and drama, danger and romance. There is also gods and seers and reincarnation. For me I would have like to see the story made in multiple POV’s, that is my preferred mode of a story being told but I do think it would have made the story that much stronger.
Revenge on her mind but when she actually comes face to face with her nemesis she realises that she has been looking at it all wrong.Orion’s perspective too.
