Things We Lost by Shae Banks a four-star read that you won’t want to lose. I enjoyed this story and the writing but I do have to admit that its not my favourite second chance romance, that being said I cant wait to see more from this author in particular where she will go with the rest of the Loving Locksley series as the writing is good. Nathalie Johnson and Jason Locksley have a good story, its well plotted and is very real, and just like most relationships it ebbs and flows but also there isn’t any fireworks, well not enough to make it memorable. This story shows us great promise.

Heart of Stone – Emery & Jackson was a really nice contemporary romance story and one that I really enjoyed. This is also the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed their writing style, the book was easy to read and the characters were easy to relate to. I really liked Emery and Jackson as characters, they were both really nice and I really felt for Emery. I could see how much Jackson liked her but she had been so hurt in the past that I could tell it was going to take a lot for her to let him in. There were some good twists to the story and some surprising turns that I didn’t see coming – I was however rooting for Emery and Jackson the whole way through the story. Alongside these two were some great supporting secondary characters who really did add something extra to the story! I am definitely looking forward to reading the next book in this series!

I honestly absolutely adore this author! Her writing never fails to grab my attention from the very first word. I have read so many of her books now and have loved every single one of them and Demon’s Angel is no exception. It is the second book in the Colorado Chapter of the Satan’s Devils MC series which is shaping up to be one amazing 5 star series already! I think I may be a little bit in love with Demon! He is everything I want the president of an MC to be and more! He was the strong, sexy, alpha male type of character who definitely lights up the pages with his heat and intensity! I love Violet too; she was a strong, independent person who I really felt a connection with. I was willing her and Demon to find each other and be together right from the very beginning. I loved the romance and suspense that ran throughout this story, Ms Mellett certainly knows how to keep me on the edge of my seat during her stories! I just cannot get enough of her wonderful writing and stories and I am definitely looking forward to more to come from this series!!

First off I love the cover art. The cover draws you in. Then you get into the book and fall in love with the characters. Chloe is a tough chick I mean the type of chick that you don’t talk smack to. Through the whole book I wanted more from her POV. Locke man oh man Locke. Makes a girl want to move to Australia to find herself a man lol. I really enjoyed this story because it shows that even though we don’t trust people we learn to. We give in when we find someone worthy of our trust. Even when we fight it. I didn’t like Trent and Eric. What they did to him was awful. Friends and family should always have your back. Review by @gguerrero89
Demon’s Angel: Satan’s Devils Mc (Colorado Chapter) #2 by Manda Mellett. I have read every single one of this authors MC books and let me start off by saying there hasn’t been one book that I didn’t love!!!!! This is Demon’s book!!!! Demon found out how his life came to be and he was still trying to deal with the severity of it. Frowning up, Demon had a best friend, Nathan. When Nathan died, he vowed to watch out for his sister, Violet. And he did until she was an adult and she moved. He thought his part was done, that is until he sees her again, but now she isn’t alone, she has a baby with her. Demon always had a thing for Violet but never acted on it because of her brother. Violet is in trouble and needs Demon’s help. Can she make him see that just because she is Nathan’s little sister, she is still a woman and that they would be perfect together and not just for protection sake. I absolutely fell head over heels in love with this book and especially Demon. I can not wait for more.

After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution ( Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection Book 8) by Tamara Ferguson 4 Stars
This is part of the Hot Hunks Steamy Romance Collection. Each book can be read as a stand-alone. This is the love story between Rand and Ciara. The story takes place in Bali where two old friends cross paths again. They met 15 years prior, each going their separate ways to make a career in the military. Meeting again in Bali, the spark that started when they were young, ignited into an inferno. There is a side story with Rand trying to catch some terrorists which added some suspense to the story and the hurricane which added some danger.
Though it is a short novel, it is well written and interesting. It grabbed my attention fairly quickly and kept it throughout the end with the suspense. It is an intriguing yet sweet romance.
Hate to Love You (Baker’s Bunch Book 1) By Lily Ryan Rated 5 stars
First off I LOVE that cover! It totally drew me in to check out this story. Best friend brother/sister stories are a favorite so I have high hopes. This really doesn’t disappoint. I could NOT put this down. I was a bit grouchy when family tried to interrupt me. Luckily I was done with work for the day.
This couple! Not only is the couple going to have problems because this is a best friends sister book but now there is another bad element in the story. I am in anguish for these two people. My heart is beyond broken. I can see what is going to happen and want to say “Stop! Stop right now”. But of course this is a story so that doesn’t really work. I just have to plug along with tears streaming out of my eyes and my heart in two pieces. Also a few vocal admonishments here and there.
I love how Cole is throughout this whole story. Yes there are irritating times but overall he is trying. He has to deal with the whole forbidden fruit issue because that is what Sam is to him. She just can’t get that through her head. She doesn’t understand why and that’s when things happen. She is young and has a lot of issues going on in her life
My only issue and it’s not really a big one but these characters are very young. (Well Samantha is.)I can easily still see all the drama and emotional stuff that affect teenagers in her actions. I loved the story but that got old. I’m sure it happens in real life all the time but I am surprised that Cole hangs on beings he is just a bit older. I was so proud of him when he denied her. I really felt for him for many different reasons. He did say some very nice things and he was my favorite character.

5 Star After Hurricane Nina: Rand’s Resolution (Hot Hunks Steamy Romance Collection) by Tamara Ferguson is a wonderfully written and engaging story. The characters are very well developed and easily relatable. This is Rand, and Clara’s story there is definetly an attraction between them. The story just flows and before you know it your at the end. Find out what happens next? This is a must read! as always cant wait to read more.
Flirty Dancing is the third book I have read in the Green Room Chronicles series and I think this was my favourite. Once again, we are quickly thrust into the thrilling world of the afterlife and we reacquaint ourselves with Bonnie, Dee and Linda, while being introduced to our new lead character of Kitty – a 20 something mother who has met an abrupt end while pole dancing. It has a slightly different feel to the previous two books as the lead character was in the prime of her life and felt like this was a premature death. I love the support she gets from the terrible trio. As with the previous novels, the characters were entertaining and colourful and their adventures were spicy and fun. I enjoyed this as it was a no-hassle, short read for an evening after a long day at work. It is pure escapism and a little bit of naughty fun thrown in.

Secure Desire is A Chase Group Novel by R.L Dunn, and is a really great action-packed romantic suspense- with mystery, murder, intrigue, violence, brutality, spills and thrills, hidden agendas, sinister plots, clandestine ops, covert organizations, private security, family, friendship, Politics, loss, betrayal, chemistry….. and soooo much more. Ian Chase is an ex-Navy SEAL turned successful business man, now heading up the Chase Group, a billion dollar global empire in the venture capital and private security sector. He has never forgotten a brief encounter with a beautiful, but engaged, art historian he met six years earlier. So, imagine his surprise when he unexpectedly encounters her again- only now she’s no longer engaged or married, and works for the FBI. He knows there is more to the story, and to her, than she’s letting on. Secrets surround her. And he’s determined to get to the bottom of it all. Cassiopeia Ellis remembers meeting Ian, and he’d made quite the impression on her. But she remembers very little else from that night. She suffers from amnesia and is haunted by nightmares from a very traumatic experience. Running into Ian again after all these years, both thrills and terrifies her. She still feels their electric chemistry and magnetic pull- but she is deathly afraid that he’ll discover her secret and then won’t want anything to do with her. Much better to push him away, than to suffer the pain and embarrassment of rejection. But Ian has arrived at a point where he is able to really help Cassie- as someone seems to want her dead. Can Ian protect her and keep her safe? Who has targeted Cassie, and why? What happened to her six years ago, and what has that got to do with the present threat? All the answers to these questions, and more, can be discovered between the covers of this suspenseful read! I really enjoyed this book. I was intrigued right from the beginning, totally engrossed the whole way through. There were some shocking, emotional, and violent moments that had me anxiously reading, on the edge of my seat to discover if things would turn out ok. There was a lot going on, and so much to keep track of, too. R.L Dunn has written a complex, multi-layered story full of clever interconnected details which gives it a real unpredictability- she kept me guessing the whole way through. I had so many scenarios running through my head, trying to piece everything together and work out what was going on. I though that aspect of the writing, and story, was really well done. I loved Ian and Cassie, they were so easy to like and invest in. I really felt for Cassie and what she’d been through, and what she was going through!!! OMG- R.L Dunn really put her through the wringer. And then there’s Ian- his protective Alpha hotness was swoon-worthy. I also love Kieran, and Monique, Lil and Declan, Luke and Rachel…. And Hunter, such a sexy man- I’d sure like to know more about him! The story was meticulously researched, or the author has experience in the field- with all the medical terminology, equipment, and medications that were used in the story, as well as the security lingo and weaponry etc. The story was detailed and vividly descriptive. The only issue I had, was that there are a LOT of characters in the story- I counted over 130 NAMED characters- which was a lot to keep track of! I didn’t think they all required naming, especially passers-by on the street/hallway, or the nurse at her station etc- especially since many don’t any play a further part in the story. It just was a lot to take in- I like to remember names and places during a story, especially when I’m trying to piece everything together, like in this book- so I found the ‘extra names’ a little ‘messy’ to the overall tight plot-lines. This didn’t detract too much from the storyline, but it was a little distracting, and at times, confusing. I am really looking forward to reading more of R.L Dunn’s work.

After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution (Hot Hunks Steamy Romance Collection) by Tamara Ferguson
5-Stars
After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution , is action packed and romantic. Main characters Rand and Ciara meet as kids briefly and are reunited later in life. Rand left a significant impact on the young Ciara that led her to the path she is currently on. Both are high ranking members in the service. Rand has been under cover for several years and has developed the persona of a trust fund lazy millionaire to hide what he is doing. Truly being a trust fund recipient from his grandparents who raised him, he really is pretty active in many things. Ciara has a feeling there is more to him and try’s to figure it out. She has an interesting background herself and was an easy female lead to love. I love how the two worked together to rescue and help people after the hurricane. They had amazing personalities. I also felt that the storyline was easy to follow and full of excitement. Their romance was beautiful to watch as it blossomed. The ending was definitely my favorite part and I highly recommend this novel.
This new age supernatural story flows from the very first page until the very last. It’s a story that has humor, self-actualization, great world building, The story has Witches, Mind Readers & Healers, demons, ghouls, vampires and were-creatures, a cute troll, cute boys and all that comes in between.
The story is well plotted and while some of the dialogue is a little (I hate to use the word annoying) teenage girl-ish hehe. The female protagonist is “different” than the others and must at a different pace because of it “all good things come in time”. She and her best friend are Yin & Yang and it is my hope that every teenage girl has a “Jo” in their life.
This is one of those books that I am clearly not the demographic for but I found it super enjoyable. It has humor (“She was like a case of gonorrhea. She kept flaring up when you least expected her”) and emotion and all around great things. This did not feel like a story that had a lot of words as filler. I could go on and on about this story but then I’d just be telling you the whole storyline and you wouldn’t have to read the enjoyable book for yourself. So I will just say: It is a fast read that I was unable to put down until I was finished and I’m super glad that I have the next book in the series downloaded.

HEELS OF FORTUNE is book two in the “PJ Santini Series” and I don’t think the author suffered a sophomore slump with this installment to the series.
PJ Santini is a feisty, independent woman who is multi-faceted. She is a news reporter and a private eye. She has a sense of style and a sense of humor. She’s someone I would totally want to be friends with if she were real and wore my shoe size.
The story is fast paced, has great supporting characters who help move the story along and maintains its quirkiness, even as the characters grow. There is a very clear beginning, middle, and end to the story and is well defined. The way it’s written holds the reader’s attention from beginning to end.
I recommend this story, this series and this author.

Run to the Sea by K.G. Fletcher was a great 5 star read and the first book in the Reigning Hearts series. This is a great emotional 2nd chance romance.
This is Thomas (Cappy) and Emeline’s (Em) story. These two grew up as best friends until college got in the way and Thomas left, causing them to lose touch. When he returns home after his grandfather’s passing he sees Em.
Em is surprised to see Cappy after so many years. Seeing each other has caused some old feelings to rise. Em is now a painter and does some beautiful work. The more time they spending reminiscing the closer they get. Can these two possible reconnect and have something?
I really loved this story, my emotions were all over the place. There are some twists and turns as they go through the memories. Cappy was great, he was super sweet and a very sensitive man, he was feeling guilt for not staying in touch with his grandfather. Em was beautiful and talented. You could feel their connection coming right off the pages. K.G. Fletcher has once again pulled me right in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from this series.

I love reading books that have a positive bisexual main character. And Spar did not disappoint! This is a great book to read on a rainy day! It’s definitely steamy! This is also an accurate representation of the sport. Randi Perrin hasn’t written a book I don’t like! I can’t wait to read the next one!

North to Nara by Amanda Marin is the first book in the Crimson Sash series. This is a great start for a new series. Set in a dystopian world the story follows Neve and Micah. The two are not supposed to be forging a relationship but cannot resist one another. I really liked the characters and the relationships between the primary and secondary characters. Between the building of a world, story and characters I did not want to put this story down. I am looking forward to where the series goes and hope to see some of the secondary characters be featured more. There seem to be many interesting stories to come.

Reset to One by Heather Silvio was another fun book in the Paranormal Talent Agency series. I really enjoyed this one as the lead was a vampire and I am always going to love me some vampires. I thought this book was just as good as the first. I like the author’s writing style and how easy her books are to read and get lost in. I think she did a great job and I am looking forward to reading others. 4 star rating

Lights, Camera, Action by Heather Silvio was a fun read. This book was easy to fly through. It was a quick read for me and right up my personal alley. I love paranormal books and mysteries. I felt like the author set it up to make lots of books. I could see myself in the long haul for this series. Meaning I could see myself reading each book. After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution (Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection Book 8) By Tamara Ferguson 5 stars
While this may be a quick read, it sure packs it all on there! Another fantastic read by this author, she has me flipping pages faster and faster every time.
Rand was raised by his grandparents and was never good enough in his dads eyes, no matter what he did. When he met Ciara he was just drawn to her, and bestowed some wisdom to her. When they meet in an unexpected place years later, that’s when things get interesting. I loved this book, and everything written by this author, i can’t wait to read more in the future!
Hate to Love You (Baker’s Bunch Book 1) by Lily Ryan 4 stars
I really liked the premise of this book, but it felt just a tad rushed in timeline and the make-up after conflict. I understand they’re new adults, so maturity for somethings aren’t there yet but otherwise a great story. I love a siblings best friend romance. While I didn’t agree with the way they did things I understood why it happened that way. This book also has a nice message of never jump to conclusions on things as they aren’t always what they appear.

“When they kissed, it was like a promise that no matter where their careers led them, no matter how distant or dangerous their loves become, love would keep them together.”
And that, my friends, is the basis for Ferguson’s Dragonfly Pointe magic! Love IS enough!
Ferguson’s writing style keeps you turning the pages, keeps you guessing for that happily ever after. You might expect the happy ending in her books but the broken road to get there is the beautiful journey of Ferguson’s words!
I really liked this story. I love how each story refers to the Wounded Warrior center in Crystal Rock and uses the center as a base where eventually every one works or recovers.
Ferguson’s stories can be read as stand alones and I recommend you pick this one up.
After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution is book 8 in the Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection. Each book in the collection is a stand alone book, written by a different author. This one is written by Tamara Ferguson. I love her work, and am a big fan, so I obviously loved this book too. This is Rand’s story following Hurricane Nina hitting Bali Indonesia. He is working for the U.S. Embassy while living in Bali, under the cover story of living off his inheritance. He met Ciara when he was a teenager, and fate seems to have brought them together in Bali years later, while she is on vacation with friends. They instantly hit it off again and end up working together to rescue people after the hurricane hits. I love that all of Ferguson’s books seem to center around soldiers or wounded warriors, and all have a tie to the Dragonfly Inn. While each book is a stand alone novel, the characters overlap and build on each other. Highly recommend this book, and any of her work to others!
This is the first book I have read from this author and now she has a new fan. I didn’t know what to expect from this new author but I’m so glad I took the chance. I was hooked to these characters right from the beginning. These characters are so raw and real. I could not put this books down. It only took a few hours to devour this amazing story.
Chloe Darue lives in a normal small southern town. She is anything but normal. Chloe is what you would call a triple threat she codes computers for a living, she can lay you flat on your butt in a matter of seconds, and she is very confident in herself. She only fears two things her ex and her family finding out her deep secret. Chloe is getting bored in this small town but when she sees a new judge she sees things looking up. She is immediately attracted to the blue eyed god. Chloe keeps on running into Locke and they start to get to know each other. She finds out that he also has some secrets of his own. They have a deep connection but will Chloe be able to put her trust issues aside and give him a chance?
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, heartbreak, healing, and trust. You will fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. Chloe is a very beautiful woman that had a very hard past. She is afraid of letting her guard down again and getting hurt. Locke is very handsome and charming. He knows what he wants and he will do anything to get Chloe. The way he treats Chloe will make your heart melt. These characters have some steamy scenes that will make your toes curl. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seat until the end. I can’t wait to see what this author will write about next.
After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution (Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection) by Tamara Ferguson
5 out of 5 stars
After Hurricane Nina, Rand’s Resolution is the first book in the Hot Hunks-Steamy Romance Collection written by Tamara Ferguson was awesome. This isn’t the first book that I have read by this author and it won’t be the last. The characters are well developed and amazing for what they have seen and done. The storyline was amazing we had romance, love, intrigue, espionage. We also get to see a few of our people from Drangonfly. Ciara and Rand knew each other as teens. Now both adults Rand has a reputation as a trust fund playboy. But everything isn’t what it seems with him he living in Bali and working for some covert work. Ciara made her dream come true. All these years later they meet up in Bali while Ciara is on vacation. They get to reconnect and see where this connection they feel towards each other goes. Now they face a tropical storm and in the midst of that a terrorist bombing plot is exposed. They want a future together but, Rand just found out he is on a ISIS hit list and has to leave. What does the future hold for this couple? Can they overcome this dilemma and have a happily ever after? You will need to read this book in order to find out. I highly recommend this book…. By Tracy @tracym
Spar had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. I enjoyed the main characters and how they interacted with each other. Chloe is a tough, independent, bi-sexual young woman, who knows what she wants and go after it. Locke is a strong sexy man who loves to spar, which catches Chloe’s attention. The chemistry between them is off the charts, now if they could only get past the trust issues, they would be heading in the right direction. I highly recommend this story. It is something you will want to see what happens to these two.
Holy Mary Mother of God, this was one hot and steamy read! Where have you been Anise Storm?? I apparently have been missing out for quite awhile one some fantastic writing by the hands of Anise Storm and after devouring Hawke, my only solace is that I can recover my book hangover in the pages of the books that she has previously published that I have missed while waiting for the next book to come in the Men of Syn series. If you are new like myself to Anise Storm I believe you have picked the perfect introduction to her writing. This novel has it all. I was pulled in from the very first chapter and captivated till the very last page, often finding myself slowing my pace on purpose to draw in out as long as I could.
Everything is really set up for us in Hawke, where we in fact meet Nathaniel Hawkins, more commonly referred to as Hawke. He is one difficult man to say the least, not saying he doesn’t have his reasons or demons for being that way. I felt for him and everything has its place but this man will make you want to smack him and love him all at the same time. He is balanced rather nicely with the strong and smart Charlotte. These two have a second meeting like no other that will lead to some amazing reading! Throw in a crazy serial killer and hot BDSM scenes and you have the recipe for a wonderful novel. I absolutely couldn’t put this down! I can’t wait to find out what will come next from the Men of Syn! Thanks so much for the fantastic read Ms. Storm!

What a book! And what an incredible introduction to this author. Anise Storm has definitely made an impact and I will be looking to read any of her reads.
This book was everything and more, it was hot & steamy, it had suspense it had me on the edge of my seat, and totally and utterly intrigued and engaged to the story from start till finish. It was a book that really makes you think and a book that sticks with you, it does take some darker turns, but ultimately its what makes this story and its characters.
The characters Hawke & Charlotte were real, relatable and they had a depth to them, but can they overcome their personal battles in order to move forward and finally get a HEA? This is a book I highly recommend reading and I can’t wait to see what else is to come from this author.
