Once Upon a Romance (A Dream Come True Book 1) By Alex Bailey I loved reading this heartwarming holiday story. This book gave me all the feels I want in a great story. Even though there is heartbreak there is also a abundance of love and support in this story. The author did an amazing job with the details in this story that I felt like I was there at Disney World with them experiencing the magic of the place and the season. This truly was an emotional wonderful story that will stay with me for a long time. I know that I will revisit this story multiple times because I enjoyed reading it that much!! I highly recommend this wonderful story. I cannot wait to read what comes next!

Hope’s Decree was a good four star read and book one in the Fated series.
My whole freakish life I’d desperately wanted to shut out the surge of emotions I often felt from others.
This was an interesting read that peaked my interest in Greek mythology, this is out of my realm of genre but I was pleasantly surprised.
Trinity was a great character with a lot of drama and sassiness, she is a 17 year old in her senior year of high school. We get to know her group of friends and of course the snobby mean girls. I did have some LOL moments with some thoughts that Trinity would have.
There is so much action and conflict along with several twists and turns. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. It was great watching Trinity develop into a very strong person, I can’t wait to read the next book in the series to see where she goes from here. Angela McPherson has done a great job of pulling you right in with her writing.
Hope’s Decree by Angela McPherson is book one in the Fated series. I love reading young adult books and this was no exception. This is the first book I have read by this author, but it definitely will not be the last. I really enjoy when authors leave me wanting more from page 1. This book has everything you could want, love story, trials, uncertainty and happiness. I really enjoyed the Greek mythology tie in, along with the depth of her characters and the story line. This book makes you feel like you are living right along side then living each moment. I give this book a solid 5 stars and cant wait to read the next in the series. Reviews by @amandarae6884
I really have enjoyed this serious. I liked this book but it was hard for me to read. It hit too close to home. I have a lot of friends who came here because of their parents when they were babies. I find it shameful that they are living in fear of being kicked out of the only place they have called home. Ok I need to focus on the store and not get too emotional. Mouse was so mysterious. He gave off that lone wolf vibe and it worked. It sucked that he fought himself. There is a way for you to have balance with multiple heritage. He just needed to find his balance. I believe that Ma is his balance. She gave him a different family and something worth fighting for. I was so scared for Marissa through this whole story. The fear and uncertainties she lived with. I didn’t like the lawyer she didn’t know anything and was kind of wrong in the way she stated that she would need more money for her legal fees. Overall this story was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I felt so many emotions and hatred was a big one. I am still in shock over how hateful people can be. Reviewed by @gguerrero89

This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed being pulled into this intriguing mystery. This book kept me on the edge of my seat, I enjoyed the suspense, danger, humor, and a bit of romance. This story had everything. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down unti I found out what happened. I really liked Karina, she’s intelligent and independent, even if she didn’t really understand the danger she was putting herself in. I don’t want to give anything away so you must read this book to find out what happens, I highly recommend this story.

Mouse Trapped by Manda Mellett is the ninth book in the Satan’s Devils series. This can be a stand-alone story. This story is about Tse (aka Mouse) and Mariana. I have read several of Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Deviles series and with each one I find myself inside the story just hovering above the action. The details of what is happening with the characters and the story is always fresh story. There is a great amount of talent to write these stories. In this story Ms. Mellett’s character Mouse is part Native American which I found interesting to read. Mariana is in trouble and Mouse is trying to decide if he should help or stand back. Is there more of a bond between Mouse and Mariana that Mouse wants to admit? Will Mariana be able to defend herself? You will have to read this story to get those answers.

Killmores (Killmore #2) Martha Sweeney 4 out of 5 stars
Killmores is the perfect follow up to the first book in Martha Sweeney’s Killmore series. These books aren’t meant to be read as stand alone reads, if you haven’t started from beginning of this action packed rollercoaster then I highly recommend doing that now. I wasn’t sure what to expect from Killmores with such a strong set up of book there was no way the second would be just as captivating, action packed as the first book. Of course I was pleasantly surprised to see the series continues on without a hitch with memorable, enjoyable characters both new and old. This is the type of book you crave reading when you don’t quite have the time, the kind you take with you anywhere “just in case” you need something to do while you wait. Martha Sweeney is a new to me author that is officially on my radar. I look forward to reading more in the future.
This was a book full of mystery and romance. Should she follow her instincts or leave it be and mind her business? You literally are on the edge of your seat as you read this book. Between all the steamy romance and the great mystery you will find this to be a great page turner. The author has done a great job keeping your drawn in. The author clearly has a great passion for this genre. She has done an amazing job doing something she loves. Make it a great stormy day or cuddled up by the fire kind of read. Enjoy! Climbing the Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortune is her debut book. This story is a woman’s fiction story which deals with marriage and self-awareness, and everything in between. Sacha T.Y. Fortune did an amazing job with her characters in the story. The emotional roller coaster that you ride from Ms. Fortune with the character of Nicole keeps you turning the pages to see what else Nicole will have to overcome. This is what kept me reading. You will have to read to see how Nicole deals with her life. Make sure you have Kleenex and adequate time to read in one sitting. I cannot wait to see what happens in the next chapter.

Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in the Satan’s Devils series. This is the second book I have read by this author and it was just as wonderful as the first. I love the detail she puts into the characters and story line. It makes the story feel real. Mouse Trapped, even though it is a romance, also deals with some heavy, real-life issues. Reading it, you will feel a wide range of emotions, I know I did. There were a few parts where I even teared up. There were times in the book that I wonder how in the world people can go through this kind of struggle EVERY DAY. It puts your thinking cap on for sure.
I enjoyed Mouse’s character. His cultural background gives him interesting dimension. The author has done a great job of showing the contrast of cultures when you are of mixed heritage, that feeling of not belonging to either world. I particularly loved the way that the more spiritual side of his Native American ancestry is woven in.

The Eastern Shore Swingers box set is made up of 3 really great books. Fisher Of Men, The Catch and Siren Call. Each book is about people from a Swingers Group which at some point will end up opening a swingers club called the factory. Many of the same characters appear in each book.
You get a little of everything in this box set. There’s definitely lots of steam, lots of emotion and you even get a little suspense. You will definitely want to ass this box set to your library. Phoebe Alexander knocked it out of the park with these books. Loved each and every one of them.

And the best part is the strong female lead Aless. She’s now the Capo Donna and it’s all about to go down for the last time, she’s done she wants out and she wants her own life away from it all. It’s her turn. With family drama reaching an all time high. Aless is smart, strong, and dangerous. This was a great beginning to the Brothers of Camelot.

Once upon a romance by Alex Bailey was a great feel good book. This is the first book Ive read by this author and was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to read and how much I enjoyed it. Sophie grew up with an older sister and parents who were all obsessed with Disney World. Sophie never really understood why she didn’t enjoy going as much but it makes sense to her later in the book why.
Sophie should be visiting her boyfriend Darren’s family for Christmas this year until she finds out her niece Ariel asked Santa for one thing this year….to go to Disney. Ariel’s mom passed away a few months prior and it has been very rough on her. Sophie knows, she has to do what’s right and bring Ariel to WDW even if she has no desire to go. While in Disney she meets a man named Ray who also runs a Facebook page and is known as Professor Disney. Ray seems a little off to Sophie but, Ariel really enjoys his company so Sophie lets him tag along with them since he knows everything about Disney. Add a little pixie dist and a toothless Santa and anything can happen. How will Darren feel when he comes to Disney on Christmas Eve and finds out all about Ray. I thought this was a well written book and it kept my attention.

Once Upon a Romance by Alex Bailey was just the little bit of “magic” I miss at Christmas time. I lived in Florida most of my life and a “Disney Christmas” was a favorite of mine for years; nobody does Christmas better than Disney. This book brought back so many amazing memories for me. This author was detailed in everything that you will see, that I felt like I was on the Magical Disney trip right alongside Sophie and Ariel. Everyone needs to experience the “Magic” of Disney once in their life no matter how old you are.

Isabella’s Painting is the first book I’ve read by Ellen Butler. This book had all the things I love: mystery, romance, the mob and a strong female. This book had me from the beginning and once I started reading, I really couldn’t stop. Karina is a lawyer/lobbyist in DC. Her boyfriend Patrick comes from a wealthy family. Spending time with his family leads Karina into something that she never saw coming! What can she do? How should she handle it? The way she handles it is brilliant! Such a great book! Climbing the Walls by Sacha T.Y. Fortune a four-star read you will need to get over. This is the first novel in the Hart and Cole series and I ant wait for the rest. I think the best thing about this was showing us how hard married life can be, usually all you get to see in this type of book is the run up and then the wedding, all show and romance, not the day to day drudgery that we face in married life. Don’t get me wrong its not all doom and gloom, there is some good times as well and that’s what I liked about this, we see both sides of the relationship and how each decision affects people. That being said there is some love and passion that will burn your fingers, but there is a passion as well that you will love.

She drew me in and suckered punch me half way through the story. Just as I thought I knew what happened, I was wrong. This book is a real page turner. I could not put it down. A Tangy Christmas Kiss-Christmas Kiss book 2 written by Allyson R. Abbott. This is part of the Christmas Kiss Series and follows along with the cute Christmas themed romance. Mel is helping her mom out and ends up going on a weird round about trip to Spain where she ends up meeting Lucas. He ends up helping her in more ways than one. The story is a sweet one that keeps you easily hooked while you read about Mel’s journey, her mother and her aunt.

Hope’s Decree (The Fated #1) by Angela McPherson was a okay entertaining read, with an unique plot that keeps you reading.
I have to say, I got some mixed feels about this book. Being my first read by this author I went in as I always do with an open mind. The writing is good, the flow was nice, but there are some repeats. The best way to say this would be, like the same scene was done twice but at different locations. It made the story feel a like unfocused and choppy. I also has some trouble with the MC. She was very Mary-sue like, and not in a good way. Overpowered, non-flawed characters can work when done right, but sadly to say, I wasn’t feelin that with this one. There is also a unneeded love triangle. It felt forced and just, I have to repeat myself, unneeded.
Not all is lost though, because this story has quite the plot and the actual story telling is engaging and hooking. The Greek mythology is interesting and adds an otherworldly element. Morpheus is a great character, and in truth if it wasn’t for him I don’t know if I would have enjoyed this story as much as I did. I also loved the fight scenes, they were choreographed stunningly. I found myself on the edge of my seat and holding my breath. Detailed with a steady flow, I felt like i was watching a movie. And the twist and turns this story takes, really puts a new spin on the normal greek mythology.
Overall this story, though had me mixed, I did very much enjoy myself. The ending was open ended, leaving room for this story to continue, and I will being reading the next book. So yes I do give this book my high recommendation and my stamp of approval.
Mouse Trapped is the ninth book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC series! It is my first encounter with the writer and it means also that I have not read the first eight books and even though it is totally fine to read this book as a standalone, I felt that I probably missed out on some things not having read the series in the order as I did not the background and stories of people who were playing important roles in Mouse’s MC life. Mouse Trapped is the story of Tse ‘Mouse’ who is a man living in two worlds – half Native American and half Anglo … he has found a place in the world by finding it in the Satan’s Devils MC as their computer nerd, a guy who puts together puzzles … a guy who feels that he is still missing something … Mouse Trapped is also the story of Mariana ‘Ma’ who is not really an illegal but who needs to walk straight and narrow as she is DACA holder – she came to the US illegally when she was four years old when her mother escaped her father … she is the sole caretaker of her younger brother who is a citizen as he was born in the US … Things happen, things that are not under Mariana’s control and she is left floundering without help until her brother calls Mouse … I loved the story, I loved how real it was, the writer touched upon issues that are in the limelight right now – DACA holders, ICE, the detention centers, the attitude of many people … I still remember how Mouse thought to himself, wondering how the world would look like if they (Native Americans) were in charge … I could not put the book down, I cried and I laughed and … I will need to go back and read the first eight books now! I love discovering new writers and finding new series! What a blessing!

A Must for Christmas is a sweet holiday novella in Deborah Garlands’ Darling Cove series. I loved meeting Greg and Faith again (we met them in Must Have Faith) and it was also great to get an update on the other Mallory siblings as well! Greg and Faith are at the final stages of expecting their twins to arrive and both of them are struggling with how they see themselves once the kids arrive – Greg would love Faith to be a stay-at-home-mom and Faith cannot really imagine doing it … having kids is a very emotional time for anyone and having the first kids after having been separated for such a long time … it is even more! It is a perfect holiday addition to the Darling Cove series and just a friendly reminder, the series should be read in the order the writer meant it!

Climbing The Walls ( Hart & Cole Book 1) by Sacha T.Y. Fortune. This book was very good. It was told by the husband and wife’s perspectives which I loved. Its the story of Kris a loving husband and father who wants nothing more than a happily ever after with Nicole. Nicole is a power hungry business woman and sex fiend. Throw in her crazy boss Darren and his marriage that’s falling apart and you get a big fat mess. Nicole loves her kids and Kris and she wants nothing more than to be a great mom and even better wife but she’s so driven by her work she can’t seem to control herself. Darren uses that to his advantage. Nicole needs to decide if she can help Darren and keep her job all without getting a divorce of her own. This is a fast paced read, once you start you won’t put it down. I really enjoyed it.
A great read about doing the right thing. Karina Cardinal is a lawyer in love with her boyfriend Patrick. His family invite her to their Christmas Party and she has a great time. But odd events happen in Martin’s library that fuel fire to her curiosity. When she discovers the secret, she is dragged into an uncertain world of art and smoke and shadows and perhaps she shouldn’t have looked after all. A great read. Well developed plot with twists and turns that I just couldn’t put down. Well developed characters like Karina loving and kind but also standing up for herself or the eccentric Molly or mysterious Martin. I loved the use of suspense drawn out to perfection that kept you reading to find out with Karina. I loved the use of setting with the large house and tunnel rooms and hidden places for that sense of mysery but the colourful art contrasting with beautifully. Or the visual detail of shops and coffee places for a busy vibrant city. This book features Greg and Faith Mallory as they get ready for Christmas and bring their twins into the world. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until the last. What’s the Christmas Season without a little stress? Nicole is a sexy, self professed b*tch who who puts all her time into her job. This doesn’t leave much time for her kids or her husband, Kris. Sure Kris is high up the food chain at his own, but he finds time for his kids. He knows his wife is driven by her jobs, but it’s always been like that. Not to mention Nicole is drop-down gorgeous and amazing in bed. But can it last like this?
This book is about two damaged people in a marriage, who love each other but still have issues. It is quite a long book and quite detailed. I admit, this couple drove me quite crazy for a bit. But that is the point. I never read a book like this before. It is definitely not something I will forget any time soon. There is so much going on and it feels so real. These are not two people that have little issues, then all is magically well by then end of the book. They fight, they love, they struggle. They love each other immensely. Add in a very intelligent toddler. This is a book that will stay with you.
If you like a book that is real and not some glossy love story, this book is for you.

Once Upon a Romance focuses on Sophie and her adorable niece, Ariel, as they make their way to Disney World for Christmas, as per Ariel’s Christmas wish. Except it is all sunshine and rainbows for Sophie. After losing her sister to breast cancer, the last place she wants to be is the Magic Kingdom, reliving her childhood, without her sister. But as fate would have it, she meets Professor Disney, that vows to help her make sure Ariel has the most magical Christmas she could ever dream of. I really enjoyed this fluffy Christmas romance. It may or may have not made me plan my next holiday to Disney World. I absolutely adore all things Disney and romance, and could not turn down a book that ticks all the boxes. I fell in love with Ray, and his extensive knowledge of Disney and all things nerdy. I’ll take two of him any day. I also really enjoyed the building chemistry between Ray and Sophie, and how they interacted with Ariel. I also loved the level of description Bailey went into when describing the park, and all the rides; it felt as though I was right there next to them. Which only made me even more desperate to get to the nearest Disney Land, which happens to be on the other side of the world (the joys of living in Australia). I do wish there was more of an ending and I got to see a bit more of the characters, but it still ended very cute and fluffy. I gave Once Upon a Romance 5/5 stars

Rhapsody and Rebellion: (Once Upon a Widow) by Aubrey Wynne is the seventh book in the Enduring Legacy series. Alisabeth and Gideon are the main/featured characters in this historical/regency romance. The author lays the necessary ground work to hold true to the theme/style of the story with the historical time vibe from years past. Once I began reading this story, I did find it’s certainly not your standard historical romance novel- and there’s not one thing wrong with that. I think it gave this novel a bit something different giving it some additional allure. Emotional pulls are evident as you continue through the chapters, adding some additional depth to the story. The little details that Aubrey Wynne wrote it really made this story more fulfilling to read.

Hope’s Decree is Book 1 in The Fated Series, which is a new series from author Angela McPherson. This author has well and truly captured me into this world, which is full of action, adventure, suspense,mystery, romance and fantasy. Weaved throughout is Greek mythology that I felt as though I was learning new things along with the characters, I got so caught up in the flow of this book and it’s incredible story line and characters, I was gutted when it ended, I was completely captivated with this read from the very beginning right up until the last page. The book was filled with twists and turns throughout that had me on the edge of my seat, along with feeling all the heightened emotions, Trinity’s story is one all should follow, especially when Blain comes into her life.
Angela McPherson has made this read mentally visual, and I felt as though I was there along side the characters living out the story myself.
This is an incredible fantasy read, that should not be missed! I highly recommend you read this story and dive into the new world that Angela has created! Don’t miss this read – you’ll be eagerly awaiting the next one in the series, just the same as me!

The second book in the Fated series, by Angela McPherson, is Hope’s Deceit. This paranormal/fantasy romance continues with the vivid details that the author shared in the first novel of this series. Hope’s Deceit continues Trinity’s story with lots of drama, suspense, action, and of course, romance. While some mysteries are answered from questions that were created from the first novel, new ones are awakened. Angela McPherson shines in this genre, her writing ability is above par along with character and story creation. This story never felt lacking and it just giving more and more, keeping you engaged and enthralled in the story.

I really love it when I find new authors and new series. This book is a great start to this series. I really like paranormal books and with the added drama in this it makes it really grabbing. There was constant want to not put the book down.
I found Trinity to be quite relatable. The way the author brings the emotions and how a normal teen struggles with feeling normal. I was drawn to the characters in this book as the story began to unfold. The chemistry between Trinity and Blain just really adds to the story. As Trinity begins her journey that is destine for her and battles the evil I was so drawn in and the added bonus of the romance between her and Blain really hooks the reader in. I find that I really cannot wait to find out what happens next and look forward to reading the next book in the series. I I am glad to add this author to my top favorite authors.
