This book is part of a series that I have enjoyed reading from the first book. This author is still kind of newer for me, each book tops the next. This one just might be my favorite of all yet. This is a suspenseful story that will push your phobia to new levels and secrets that just may be left just that a secret. I enjoyed the growth of the story as well as what the characters brought to the story. This is an engaging, hard to put down story that has twists and turns that had me turning pages fast just to see what would happen next. The characters pull you into their world from the start. They are creative, strong and supportive of each other. They add so much to the entertainment value of the story. I really enjoyed this book and you will never see the twists coming. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is one of the most joyful, interesting, and fun reads ! I mean who doesn’t love a good story about Cryptids.
I hope there will be a part two or maybe even a sequel to the lives of one of yeti’s friends.

This is my first book by this author which I look forward to seeing what is next for her. This is a historical fantasy book that is well written and hard to put down. A story where a curse needs to be broken by midnight or will Elle and her father be held captive by this curse forever. I enjoyed Elle’s characters and what she brought to the story. She is my favorite of the story for sure. She made the story for me, hands down. You won;t see some things coming. This is a fast paced story that you don’t want to miss. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot which made the story easy to read. It is an entertaining story that I highly recommend.

In this short book you learn about Rene, Belladonna, and the rest of their friends. It’s an action packed fantasy story. Someone is killing all the girls, Rene is hell bent on finding out who but begins to see an angel. Little does he know Belladonna is no angel. In a quick told tale you learn everything and watch Belladonna fall for Rene. A good story to read and I can’t wait to read more.
I love the Millersville Series but this book took me a lot more time to get into the others. It takes you to the life of Miranda Diggs. She has had a lot of bad times in her life and is attempting to relax and get her life back. Yet again she makes choices that send her down an unknown path. This path is confusing to say the least. As always the book is full of twists, turns and other action packed issues!

Oh my goodness! A MMF in a historical western. This was a fun and entertaining story. Walter and Isaac became fast friends on their travels out west. Once they settled and started their business, along comes Suzette and her past. Cue the adventure, drama and romance. The plot had a few glitchy parts. I did enjoy the characters and how they were written. Overall, a quick read that might kill some time while you’re home in the evening.

An entertaining paranormal read that has a little of what I love: witches, fae, zombies, wild things and some that I don’t: demons and hunters. I loved the writing. It was like hide and seek for the paranormal. The premise of the plot is good. The characters are weirdly fascinating and grow on you. It’s a quick read that will have you chuckling as you indulge in trying to figure out why?
I fell in love with this story because it was a Cinderella retelling from the boy POV. It’s a refreshing tale. I found it entertaining and actually enjoyed it. It was a quick read. I think the YA crowd will like it. The premise is good. The characters are quite well-done. It has a good vibe about it.

Let’s start off with a trigger warning. This is a complicated book. You can read the synopsis for the reasons. The premise is okay. Trauma often brings about romance. Lyle is trying to move on with his life with his fiancé when a family tragedy changes everything. The drama that happens can change everything. The characters are well written. The turmoil is real. You can feel the angst and worry, all the emotion.
I’m not sure how one will do this book justice with a review I think each one should read and keep their thoughts to them self , a secret of sorts , it feels sacred to share these folks and their story ….
Sloan heads back to her hometown of Mallowater with her father’s release from prison looming and her mother deciding she no longer needs to be in a psychiatric facility and her own life in shambles she has a lot going on and I actually hurt for her ….
Growing up Sloan seemed to have it all , loving parents (despite her father’s PTSD episodes) a brother , Ridge and a best friend named Noah but something changed when her mum had to go and get a copy of Ridge’s birth certificate…..
Life changed for Sloan , her dad went to prison , her brother was “dead” , her mother lost her marbles and the town shunned them 🥲
Now with her father being released , Sloan has questions and she’s determined to find the answers to them … what she finds left me cold and with lots of questions … people are indeed very strange beings and hell hath no fury like a woman scorned that is for sure ….
As the story and truth unfolds one thing struck me and that all this happened because one woman was hurt and her pain caused this rollercoaster of madness !

Cole and Damon learn all the secrets; their family secrets and Riley’s and it makes all the difference in their attitudes. Cole, Damon and the cousins join forces with Uncle Ronan to make sure Riley is safe.
This series has been a roller coaster of emotions that keeps you reading late into the night. Save Lies and Savage Truth have been gripping and I can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I can only imagine the shock Rowan must’ve had first of loosing her father and then his dying words and wish 🥲so Rae can’t meet up with her family but Chris goes on her behalf and he has alterior motives and none are sinister but the man has his own issues and he’s protective of his friend , bless his heart …..
So Chris and Rowan didn’t get off to a good start but soon enough they’re working as a team to arrange the wedding , promote the inn , get the community on board oh and find out who is trying to sabotage them around every corner …. I know such excitement !
Kieran is a good soul and a protective brother but his heart is in the right place and I just fell in love with his nature 😉
Alit of people saw Chris as a threat which in turn put Rowan in a difficult position so out of pure desperation she makes a rash decision that puts both her in Chris in the limelight but man what sun it was to watch these two , they’re so different yet so similar , a perfect match I must say 🥰😉
Gibbs worked on my last nerve but again you can’t fault the old guy , his heart is in right place he’s just not always good at showing it and more often than not comes across as a real gruff and grumpy old man , please be patient with him and his show him love , I know these people have become part of me so I just want others to love them like I do 😘
This is a story of love , redemption, regret, forgiveness, remorse , hope and so much more but it’s also laced with anger , jealousy and vengeance. I was kept on my toes , I laughed , cried , held my breath and cheered friends on and I’ve a new found respect for cats 🐾🤣, just saying !

Great read. This story is so creative and nothing like what I have read before. I really enjoyed the concept of Rene and Belladonna’s relationship, and how they came to be together. My heart hurt so much for the pain Rene goes through, not only with his sister, but with his own brother! Belladonna upset me, she didn’t give Rene a choice in anything and made decisions about Rene’s life on her own, but in the end, I think, he thinks it all worked out for the best. The ending was left open, a second book could be added on but if there isn’t one, the story was still wrapped up nicely.
The slow burning sizzle! This one was an exciting romantic, joyful, yet suspenseful ride. I felt it was kinda slow to start. However when that fire started to burn the flames grew! Cassandra’s determination and then later growing into more dedication to Chandler was definitely something that I felt like I was a part of. And the slow grow with Chandler. Well that made me want to strangle him at times. I would say this was a pretty light quick read.

So when we meet Lauren she’s literally hanging on by a thread and even my tired is tired for her , my flustered is flustered for her and my heart goes out to her ….she feels like she’s loosing Mitch , her marriage , the restaurant and their dreams ….
Mitch comes from a more humble background than Lauren and I get that he has insecurities but there were moments where I just wanted to shake him and remind him Lauren chose him over everyone and everything else but I get his heart and then he realises life and love is about giving and taking and both him and Lauren do that near the end and man they’re just awesome and deserve every moment of happiness after all they’ve been through ….
Lauren is so determined to show her parents she can make it on her own and not live in her brothers shadows that she almost looses the most precious thing in her life but thankfully through their toils they find their way back to each other …
Before papers can be drawn up and signed they head to Vegas to be there for their friends /family when they get engaged and they agree to see what happens there for them as it holds special memories and again my heart just melts ….
This was a reminder how quickly things can go south and we need to make time for each other in our marriage and relationships , sometimes we get so busy trying to prove ourselves that we actually loose sight . I loved every page and boy did I cry but I also laughed and being part of these people is such a treat 🫶🏼 they have such supportive friends and family , they’re so loved 🥰

I could not put this book down. From the beginning, I truly thought the author was going to go one way and all of a sudden there are twists and turns I was not expecting. The characters are brought to life in a way that makes you want to search their story to see whether or not it is true. Obviously this is a work of fiction, but that is how great of a job this author did with the novel!
You will not be disappointed if you pick up this book. It is a standard length, but you will fly through it if you love it as much as I did. There are not many books that make me stay up late to read (I love my sleep), but this is not just any book. From the characters to the storyline, this domestic mystery will not let you down!

4.5 stars Afflicted Love is the first book in the Rhythm & Heart Series. I have read a lot of books by Autumn and there is not one that I have not liked. This is an M/M romance story that is full of emotions. It is raw and steamy and sexy as hell. I fell in love with these gorgeous characters. They both have tumultuous pasts and each are broken in their own way. This book tells the story of betrayal, heartbreak and love. With passion and lust, desires and longing, betrayal and pain, and secrets that may just tear them apart it makes for a compelling read. It will captivate you from the start to finish. The man he loves is can’t look at him without remembering the horrific events that cause him so much pain. But leaving is not an option. To find out what happens read Afflicted today!
3 stars Fiddle and Fire is a historical MMF romance tale. Never having read anything by this author before I was interested to see what she brought to the table. Only to realise that this is the second book in the series. I wished I read the first book first. I will be going back to read it. I love a good ménage but alas it was a little lacking in that department. I felt a little detached from the story and skipped my way through a lot of it. The narrative kept on changing which slowed me down as I had to reread some of it to realise who was speaking. The historical information is interesting and there is some humour to be found. Suzette de Massey has caught the eye of two best friends. Together they make a happy threesome. Unfortunately her past comes back to haunt her but everyone she cares for is in danger. All in all it is not a bad read and if you like historical romance with MMF characters as the lead then give this one a go.

I love retellings of fairytales! It is so interesting to see what authors can come up with to make the stories original. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I loved it. It had a steampunk feel to it. The story takes place in the late 1800’s when steam machines were first being invented. Society had strict rules especially when it came to women and high society. As in the fairytale, Ellie’s mother dies and her father remarries. Olivia was quite something; mean, rude and desire driven. Life with her was not pleasant. Unlike the Disney version, Ellie only had one stepsister, Rebecca, who I actually liked a lot. Although there were some similarities with the fairytale, the author added her own ideas to the story which made it amazingly creative. I personally loved the paranormal twist. The drama and deadline to solve the issue raised my anxiety until the climax. This story is well written and an excellent version of Cinderella.

Cabin Eight is the third book in The Millersville Series which is full of lies and deceit, suspense and danger in this psychological thriller with sci fi elements. The characters are well developed, and the story will have you on the edge of your seat. Tensions are palpable as our MC finds herself facing her greatest fears…… Seeking solace at a mysterious remote resort she is faced with much more than she thought she could ever find herself in. Miranda has no sense of self-preservation. Curiosity definitely killed the cat and is she next? With horrors and dangers, dark conspiracies, eerie games of life and death and surprising twists they make for an interesting read. It’s a fast-paced crime thriller where the pages turn because you want to know what happens and how it ends but you will need to grab a copy yourself to discover what happens. I am looking forward to seeing what Susan does next.

3 stars A Curse of Ash and Iron is a YA Historical Fantasy tale set in Philadelphia in 1876. It is also a charming Cinderella adaptation with elements of Steampunk. It is a mixture of scientific inventions, machines and magic. Christine’s passion of childhood stories shines through in the narrative of this fairy tale. She has woven historical facts with fantasy and romance. I nearly gave up as I found it hard to get into as the beginning is very slow but after a while it picked up, so I stuck with it. The story is told from different POVs which everyone knows I love because you get an in-depth look at the characters. However, I found it hard to fully connect with the characters. The “insta-love” between Ellie and Hamilton was not quite believable but the story is a fantasy. There is a little twist at the end and the author provides extra details on what she researched and what is historical fact which is quite interesting. I would recommend this adaptation to anyone who likes retellings.

This story is really good. It has all of the emotions and suspense it needs in all the right places. Quick read and it will keep you turning the pages.

A River of Crows was one of the best thrilling mysteries that I’ve read in a very long time. Completely consumed by this this story I wasn’t sure what day it was when I finished. The characters are developing beautifully. The twists keep you guessing and wanting more the entire time. I’m recommending this book to everyone. I cannot wait to read more by this author!

This is actually the first break that I’ve read by this author. I somehow missed that it was the second in the series, however not reading the first one didn’t take away from this one. It was easy to grasp what was happening. The most intriguing part is that a few of the are hybrids. Vampires mixed with wolves. The story is very original and entertaining. I couldn’t put the book down. Definitely a great read for those who enjoy the fantasy genre.
