I liked this one. It was an easy read considering it had a more nonfiction feel. Yes it did have some romance. However it was a good read.

Readers are taken on a thrilling journey full of moments that make you laugh out loud and characters you can’t help but root for. When Rhiannon Caddell is forced to marry someone who isn’t her love, she fears that her life is spiraling out of control. However, she never expected to marry a king’s son in order to save her entire town from his father’s oppressive tax payment. At the wedding, Rhiannon is uncertain of what to do with her new, gentle and soft-spoken husband Emerys, who has never done any farm work. With time running out, Rhiannon and Emerys must find a way to make the money demanded by the king. Not only do they have to keep their hearts safe, but they must make this arranged marriage work despite the odds.
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman

A sci-fi fantasy lengthy novel with very detailed characters and scenarios within the multiverse facets. These stories I definitely had to give them a try. I will admit I was a bit intimidated but after reading the synopsis, I had to at least give it a try and I’m so glad that I did. This novel collection is three separate books that tie into together. There is a helpful character list that helps you recall the significance within the story. Each of the stories build off of one another so it is quite important to pay attention to details but I was honestly very engaged in the storyline that it did help along the way.
Journeys Through SpaceTime introduces the many diverse characters involved as each part of their own entity and roles, they encounter a strong internal connection that serves as a motivation yet concerning message to all. From there, they must see which one of them will prevail. Then in Journeys Through TimeSpace, the battle for Earth’s fate is soon approaching and as new skills and awareness is being tackled, they must do whatever it takes to be prepared for battles. Lastly in Journeys Through AllCreation, is the culmination and without reading the previous two, it can be a bit difficult to follow.
The White Knight Cowboy Stacy-Deanne by Stacy-Deanne

Lovely Jo is a young black servant for a rich white family in Clear Creek. She runs to Dusty’s ranch when accused of murder because she knows nobody, including the law, will believe her.
Dusty is a lone widower with a gambling problem. In order to keep his ranch he needs to make a lot of money quickly. Dusty finds Lovely Jo who just so happens to have a hefty bounty on her head.
Dusty must decide to either protect Lovely Jo or claim the bounty for turning her in.
This is a short, easy read, but I found it a bit too short. I wanted more of the backstory to understand the characters and their motivation. The romance was good and the story was sweet. I appreciate that Dusty was a true gentleman towards Lovely Jo.
Hot For Me by Tam DeRudder Jackson

Having read books from the author’s other series; I was so excited to get to check this book out. I had not read the first 3 books, but the author did an amazing job of recapping the relationships from the previous books in a way that was seamless with this story. The connection between Adam Tron and Cristy Valor was immediately electric and steamy. The character development of the characters as a couple and as individuals was well written. The author did a great job of setting up Cristy’s past and how it affects her life now in a way that you truly feel for her. The story definitely had some great twists and some seriously emotional scenes! If you are looking for a fun and steamy story, full of heart and wonderful characters, this is the book and series for you!

Kayla was very relatable when it came to wanting to solving her own problems. While Evan was only trying to make things a little easier on her it only had him getting the stink eye and an earful, haha. The supporting characters were also great and I look forward to reading their stories later on down the road.

What a glorious addition to this series! I loved every Single Second! I started this and struggled to put it down. Yes, it is that good! It is filled with action, drama, suspense and kept me highly entertained. It is a well done story that pushes all the characters to their limits and shows what they can really do.
I really thought Soleil was barking up the wrong tree with Tripp. He’s mean to her and really shows no interest. Luckily this story has some chapters from his POV so we get a peek inside his head.
I loved all the times with his brothers, wives and their family. Their camaraderie makes me smile. Red Cage activities always intrigue me and keep me entertained.
I eagerly look forward to that sassy Tillie getting her story and finding out who can handle her.

The first book was definitely harder to get in to than I first anticipated. But once I got use to how all the characters were being introduced, I really started to get into it. I found these stories hard to put down and was able to read them quicker than I initially thought. Mr. Talisman did a wonderful job, not only with the character building but the multiple worlds building. I was able to visualize what I was reading and picture myself a part of his story. I had my favorite characters, but really enjoyed them all. I would definitely recommend this series, whether you enjoy this genre or not. I hope to read more from this author in the future.

This story was filled with passion, lust, and love. Kendall has always had a crush on Pete. The only thing standing in their way is Ryan. Who so happens to be Kendall’s brother. But also Pete’s best friend and team-mate.
We all know not to mess with team dynamics when it comes to a team sport like baseball. Pete took a leap of faith when he fell hard for Kendall and then had to face up to Ryan at the end.
Will their love for one another win or will the dynamic of the team and friendship come first?

Pirates and pigs, what’s not to love? This book was entertaining and had classic pig jokes. Read it to my 5 year old niece and she absolutely loves it. Birthday present here you come! Half-Pint learns a valuable lesson in waiting and it was a fun little adventure!
Bees in Loretta’s Bonnet by Lois Wickstrom

This book was a lot of fun and lead to a lot of conversations about bee’s and what they do for us. Those conversations lead to more research and learning about bees. Since I am allergic to bee’s we wont get a chance to make a beehive for our backyard, that this book provided instructions for, but it was great to learn how to do! I love how this author’s books always lead to better conversations for us. I would recommend!

Peyton Sharp wasn’t sure about the man she had just started seeing, but when they show up at a party she quickly realizes that everything he told her was a facade. Getting thrown under the buss Ryan Graves, star pitcher of the team, finds himself pretending to be Peyton’s boyfriend at least until he can get her out of there. Ryan though believes she is just another woman in a long line trying to date a baseball star for personal gain, he couldn’t be more wrong. News gets out that the man who no one sees date is dating, Peyton and Ryan come to a truce and decide to continue to pretend. What happens though when feelings get involved though, can Ryan push his doubts aside?
This was delightful. The story pulls you in right away and I really liked Peyton. I thought the way the characters emotions were written you could easily visualize what was happening. Terrific chemistry, terrific book.
Journeys Through Collection: Volume 1-3 by James Talisman

The first book, Journeys Through SpaceTime, falls a bit flat. There was no emotion or connection to the characters. I felt like I was watching movie scenes instead of reading a book. The change in viewpoints consistently was confusing. There were viewpoints that I liked and some that I did not. It was nice when the story switched to the characters, I was most interested in. It was like reading five different books and hard to remember it all. I was confused by how it was all connected, when I reached the end of the book it was not any clearer.
The second book, Journeys Through TimeSpace, is much better and starts to help connect a few missing dots. Instead of being all over the place we are focused on saving the Earth with Matt and his friend, Dan, and girlfriend, Julia. The secret societies add to the story instead of taking away because they have the information needed to save Earth. My favorite part is when Matt, Dan, and Julia time travel to different lives that they have previously lived throughout time. The few cuts to the enemy reptilian species add to the suspense, starting with them gaining the power to destroy Earth. It helps to put more tension or pressure on the main characters.
The third book, Journeys Through AllCreation, helped to further connect the dots. It starts two years after our last adventure. One of the characters from the first book turns out to be Matts’ twin in his past life and they must save the MultiVerse. Another of the viewpoints that we haven’t heard since book one comes back into play. Still one of my biggest issues is that ideas that I need (or like to be) explained are not. Yet almost everything about the characters is explained instead of shown. It all comes down to this… Can Matt again save Earth when the stakes are even higher this time?

This is a Billionaire Blind Date Romance. This book is the continuation of the billionaire best friend romance series. However, it definitely is a stand alone. It is not necessary to read any of the others and you will not feel lost at all.
I’m going to leave this at a very vague review, as I do not want to risk spoiling anything. Evan and his friends have agreed to set up their friends on blind dates. So far, they have been very successful. Now, its Evan’s turn. He isn’t expecting much because he isn’t sure he really wants to settle down or truthfully, if they can even find anyone worth settling down for. But he is willing to give it a try, especially since he is the silent partner in a new business venture in town, a blind date restaurant. He loves the idea so he is willing to give it a try. He has a few awful dates, but then one hits it off. But this date may be more complicated than meets the eye.
I truly enjoyed this story. It was an easy read that I definitely recommend.
The Muffin Shop Murder: A Delilah Crumbworthy Mystery by Holly Tierney

This is a quick and enjoyable mystery story that is also quite light hearted and fun. It was an easy book to get into and is the kind of book that you read in one sitting. It was great to get caught up I the story the author was telling and the characters on the page. I wanted to see how things would place out and if the main character would figure it out.
This is a relatively new author to me but so far I can definitely say I am a fan of her work. This book was thoroughly enjoyable and clearly the start of what will be a fun new series.

This book took off from the start with me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put the book down because I just needed to know what happens next! This book won’t disappoint. Dominic has had to fight for everything he owns from a very early age. When he is accused and arrested for his girlfriend, Juliana Rutherford’s disappearance, he only wants revenge for what he’s been through. When Whitney comes into the picture, she thinks she can help Dominic. But can these two trust each other enough to get the job down and to find out what happened to Juliana before it’s too late.
Grace Under Fire by Jennifer Raines

This book is the second in the Anderson Sisters series and was definitely as good as the first. It is a contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. The book is certainly emotional, tackling a sensitive topic in a gentle way. For me this really impacted the characters and made them much more relatable and real. They had a great connection right from the start but had such a huge obstacle to overcome.
The author weaves and enjoyable story that connects with its audience. It has a great balance between emotional, romance and an overall enjoyment. I think this is a great book and I am looking forward to more from this author.

This is the third installment of this series. I HIGHLY recommend you read them in order from the beginning. There are so many characters filling different roles that it would be easy to get lost in the plot. They are strong characters that all work together to overcome the evil that threatens our world, though. Faiza’s struggle to move past familial loyalty was well written as well as her doubts about what was happening to her. Her acceptance of herself is struggle that I think everyone can identify with. It will be interesting to see how the series progresses from here.

If there is something that grabs my attention it is paranormal with a hit of Celtic and Druids: Fated Mates and tricky Goddesses.<br />Rowan, time shifter and warrior meets his talisman Alyssa.<br />Alyssa who has been raised in the shadow f the paranormal world and hidden by her grandma meets Rowan in a bar. Can he keep her safe in his world.<br />Can they survive the curse?<br />A good read that had me gripped from the start, I am hoping to get into another book by this author soon, the storytelling holds your attention, and has a healthy dose of heat.<br />

What a lovely small town romance, with added dashes of sisters’ friend angst, and bad boy older brother vibes.<br />Lily moves from London to Bluestone after the death of her father. Her aim; to be happy, find some answers and run the hardware store that her father left her.<br />The added family issues bring this book more into reality than some romantic fiction, what a mother and father will do after a relationship breakdown, and how they protect the children, which can be seen in the emotional issues that Lily (and Jake) have to deal with later in life. <br />Jake knew Lily’s dad, and wants to help her as much as he can to come to terms with the man she never knew, he finds himself wanting to get to know her too.<br />Emotions roll up and down as this pair struggles to come to know themselves, and each other, and Lily struggles to get the business running whilst coming to grips with the past. <br />A great read that I hope will be the first of many by this author.<br />

Lucky Stars by Fantasia Yu

The story follows Princess Mora of the planet Xitlych, who has been set up to marry Prince Fidge of Xot in order to create an alliance among the nexus of planets. However, Mora has other ideas. She escapes from the castle and ends up on a dangerous adventure with criminal-come-tour guide, Darin O’Joy. Mora helps Darin open himself up to love and Darin helps Mora face her fears. I love Mora and Darin and hate all of the royals minus Pola. It was a really interesting storyline, although quite hard to follow at parts as I don’t think all of the chapters necessarily flow, but I’m glad it ends with a happy ever after. I wish we could have seen Mora and Darin come together officially at the end, though. ‘Both safe at last from the loneliness of the world.’
Hush, My Darling is the second book in the Benoit and Dayne Mystery series by Winter Austin. I flew through the first book in this series and could not wait to get my hands on the second book! Hush, My Darling did not disappoint! This book had me on the edge of my seat as I completed the investigation with Lila Dayne, the Deputy, and Sheriff Benoit. Two bodies that have similar features make for the possibility of a serial Killer. Will they catch the killer before he/she strikes again? Pick up a copy of Hush, My Darling to find out.
I will have to say that it has been a hot minute since I read a mystery/thriller book that has captivated my attention and immersed me so fully into the action. If you like mystery books, you will LOVE this book!
Caspian’s UnBirthday is the third book in the Invisible Magic Wand series by Lois Wickstrom. This book is another great addition to the Invisible Magic Wand series. I love the creativity that was used by Wickstrom with the hot chocolate socks. I enjoyed Caspian and his grandpa’s adventures for his unbirthday.
This book is about the birthday present Caspian’s grandpa gave him, it was not your average birthday present. This year all Caspian got was a pair of brown socks from his grandpa called “Hot Chocolate Socks”. What is so special about these socks? They make Caspian float up in the air, but the best part is that grandpa says he cannot go to school on his unbirthday. He has to have a fun adventure instead. Evan: A Steamy Billionaire Workplace Contemporary Romance by Toni Denise

I loved book 1 In This series. Jake was an amazing character. The friendship between these men are what every person hopes to have. I didn’t think I’d find another one of these men that I’d fall I love with like I did with Jake. Well now it’s Evan’s turn. And he’s just as lovable as Jake was. He’s a silent partner with Kayla and the chemistry between Kayla and Evan is ridiculous!! Everyone can see it except them. Or maybe they don’t want to see it because they don’t want to take a chance and ruin both their friendship and business relationship. It’s Evan’s turn to have a few horrible blind first dates.
Loved this book as much as the first and cannot wait for CADE!!! Literally dying for Ryker’s book also.

This book blew me away. I was sweating, anxiety through the roof at moments and just enthralled. I cannot even explain this book, there are no words honestly. A rollercoaster ride I’m still processing. Susan gave me a run for my money and she is a literary genius, from concept to character to delivery, this book is insanely phenomenal. Read it now!
Caspian’s UnBirthday by Lois Wickstrom

This is the third book in the Invisible Magic Wand series. Grandpa always gets Caspian unusual unbirthday gifts and this year was no exception. This year he got brown socks. But what was so special about brown socks? Read along to find out! My granddaughter enjoyed this book and wants brown socks now. Definitely appropriate for 4-8 year olds.

These books were fast to medium pace and held my interest through out them. Can’t wait to see what is next for our heroes!
