Another cute story about Amaleigha. A six year old little girl with a heart of gold. She reminds me of my 6 year old son. Constantly so thoughtful and caring. Always thinking of others and how to make them happier and their lives better. In this book, she thinks about other kids who may speak and read different languages, and their need for books in their own language! Such a sweet thought. I hope there will be more in this series.

My first book by this author and what a great story. Adrik is a beast in all the ways he needs to be. He looks like a beast, he fights like a beast, he works like a beast and he loves like a beast! However, the one he loves doesn’t know he even exists. Interesting twist is she does see him. Annika is the Bratva princess he is ordered to protect. He has been watching her for a long time and when a real beast closes in on the princess, Adrik has to bring out his inner beast to protect and save her.
This is book 5 in the series and includes may other characters that may already have their own story written. I am definitely going back to read the others as this series/family is intriguing and exciting. I enjoyed both of these main characters and all their “flaws” which really are just personal characteristics. I am also glad to see there are other stories being written about the rest of the family.
I’d recommend this new to me author and her Bratva family to those readers who like a little action, a little romance, a little steamy adult time, and a little plot twist to wrap up a really good story.
Lewis can certainly write suspense! Revenge Never Rests starts right where Secrets Never Dies leaves off. I highly recommend if you stumble upon this book not knowing it was book two, to pick up Secrets Never Die first (you won’t be disappointed). Lewis does a great job over-viewing the backstory so this could be read as a standalone but its truly worth it to read in order. Just like the first I was on the edge of my seat and couldn’t put it down. Knowing how disappointed I was that I had to put the first one down and couldn’t read it through in one sitting, I carved out my day and read this in one go! Truly clean suspense that leaves you screaming out loud.

When I first started reading, I really didn’t think I was going to enjoy this. There were so many characters introduced and I was certain I was NOT going to be able to keep up with them, the amount of characters was truly overwhelming at first but every single one was brilliantly significant throughout the story. The plot had so many twists and turns I was truly on the edge of my seat, the suspense was too much to take at times in the best way. It was very hard to walk away from this book, not be able to know what happened next. If you love suspense and like to try figuring everything out before the end, this is for you.

So far I love anything Libby Kay writes. Kay makes reading an ease. Her books are easily devoured in one sitting. Falling Home doesn’t fall short of that. Falling Home is a fantastic Christmas Romance. I couldn’t put it down once I picked it up, never once did I lose my interest. There is something about Kay’s writing that I appreciate, I am not sure what it is but reading is truly effortless when reading Falling Home. Kay creates the perfect movie in your mind as you read.

I came into this series on Book 2 and was mildly concerned I should have started with the first book. But the problem was, once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. Thankfully, my concerns were moot because I was able to jump right into the Brightley sisters world!
Arabella, the loyal, responsible, and shy sister is steadfast in her resolve to aid her ailing father, looking after her younger sister, and doing her best to keep her family’s name and future in order. Despite being deceived by her former fiancé, thinking he was dead when in fact he was very much alive and hiding his own dark secrets, Bella finds the courage and strength to help him too. She is a damn saint at times! She is pulled into so many different directions you can’t help but feel sorry for her and yet envy her strength and tenacity at the same time. Thomas is still in love with Bella but continues to hide his secrets from her. Together they face two foes who threaten all they hold dear. Will Bella and Thomas save their families and save their love? Read this book to find out!

This book really surprised me. Demons, Angels, and humans and world destruction.
Sully, The Demon Hunter, has fought demons for as long as he can remember. He grew up with adoptive parents whom he loved dearly. At the age of 13, he was sent to a monastery for his protection. He was destined for so much. As the story unwinds and you follow his journey of self discovery, you find yourself wanting to know just as much as he does. It is not an easy journey by any means. He is the son of Asmodeus, a prince of Hell and with that comes danger at every turn.
Can he complete the quest he was born to complete? This was a good read and ket me reading so see what was going to happen and who was on his side and who would betray him.

Another thrilling installment in this series. This kept me on the edge of my seat the entire read. There is so much thought put into each character and how they overlap and interact.
Michelle is leading the life she wants to lead as a wandering blogger. Michelle’s ex-boyfriend had not only been controlling but just wanted her as arm candy. She was relieved that the relationship was over but he had caused her to lose all faith in love and relationships.

Aww this book was sweet. Married couples sometimes drift apart. It was great seeing Max and Ginny reconnecting again. I think as humans we often fear missing out and we let the “what ifs” take over. However, the grass isn’t always greener. Sometimes what we need isn’t what we want. Ginny learned that lesson the hard way. Luckily Max never gave up on her. Perfect Christmas romance story.
This is actually the second novel I’ve read by this author and she’s easily becoming a favorite.

Communication is key to a successful relationship. One of the many lessons that is learned throughout this holiday rekindling romance. Falling Home is a sweet story about a couple who lost their way. One was selfish and one was selfless, but neither properly communicated. Leading to the demise of their marriage. The author writes a story about their growth apart as well as together now that they are back in each other’s lives. But will it stay that way or is it temporary? Ginny and Max were best friends turned lovers in high school. Continuing into marriage, which despite everything they had quickly demised. Ginny wanted bigger things out of life. So when the opportunity presented itself she left and filed for divorce blind siding Max in the process. And he let her go, thinking this is what she wants, and it’ll make her happy. Max had an opportunity to lay down roots in their hometown. With Ginny by his side he knew they could do anything. But when she left he was devastated and heartbroken. Despite all that he pushed forward by telling himself, this is what makes her happy. Now that she’s back in town to look after her father, he has no intentions of letting her go. He’s hoping to utilize the time they have working on the Jubilee together to sway her to give them another chance. The growth the author displays is exceptional. It reflects two people who love each other, but struggle to communicate and open up. It shows the steps they take now in regards to one another as opposed to the flashbacks of their past. Showing how far they’ve come. But will it be enough? Will Max get his wife back? This is one of those curl up on a rainy/snowy day holiday romances that you won’t want to put down. So grab a blanket and sit on a nice comfy chair, couch, ect and jump in.

Wow, what an unexpected ending! I really enjoyed this book, it’s long like the first one, but you get a bit of a better feel for the characters and more understanding of the world, since most of the world building happened in the first book. I also loved that we got to connect with the old gods of Ireland more, and got more insight to the mythology and history surrounding the country. Just like the first, there’s another very helpful pronunciation guide in the front. This book is definitely full of its own twists and turns!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and it’s definitely an interesting story. It’s almost an Irish X-Men story. The character development throughout the book is something I enjoyed. The book is fairly lengthy, and took me a bit to go through. The writing style is also a little more complex than what I normally read, but I did appreciate that there is a pronunciation guide in the front of the book, considering that while I do have Irish roots, I don’t speak the language very well. If you love modern fantasy/urban fantasy, then this is definitely the book for you!

This was a cute second chance romance read! I really enjoyed the holiday vibes in this one, and the small characters were so sweet. I wasn’t too enthused about it being a second chance book because I don’t really enjoy that trope much but this one was really good. It was great to see the characters reconcile. This book was also very well written I thought. It was funny, emotional at parts and tender hearted. This is the first book I’ve read from this author but I would love to read more in the future!

Now we move on to the second sister, Arabella, who becomes lady of the house after her older sister gets married and moves. She is still put on the task of finding someone for her youngest sister, but she won’t for herself. That is her belief since she is thought that her beloved was lost and gone to the world. Little did she know that was not true, till they meet again. So much happens in this book and is such a great read just like the first! 🙂

This was a wonderful story to read right before Christmas! It was a story filled with Christmas spirit and finding second chances at love. Ginny and Max were such a perfect couple and I loved how the author let us see the viewpoints of both of them and how both saw their marriage and their history. The secondary characters were fantastic as well. I can’t wait to see more of Natalie, Cece, and Evan. They all were such perfect characters and wonderful friends. I loved the meddling dad and his girlfriend, working behind the scenes to try and bring about a Christmas miracle. I loved how sweet this story was and all of the different foods that were made definitely made me want to try my hand at baking! I definitely recommend this story to anyone looking for a sweet Christmas tale about second chances at love.

This was a really nice Historical Fiction Romance novel. Even though Charmaine has a tough time with her family right now, she has been working hard to keep them afloat. What that involves is putting on games for a ‘charity’. The games are done at a ball as well where she meets Kosta. There is love, family, drama, and scheming in this novel, but oh so good!

This was a great start to a new supernatural/paranormal book series. It was nonstop action all the way to the last page; I couldn’t stop until I finished the story. This story had it all, secret agencies, demons, angels, a prophet, and a man just trying to figure out his place in the world that he has survived in for centuries. There are so many more secrets to be unraveled; I can’t wait to read the next book to find out what happens. Sully is a fantastic leading character and I can’t wait to learn more about Mick. I am intrigued to learn more about Sully’s brother Edward and what his future in the tale holds. The story is well written and full of action and adventure with wonderful characters that you will want to follow until their journey’s end.

I love small town romances! Also a perfect read just in time for the holidays! I’ve read another book by Libby and LOVED it so I just knew I had to read this one! I was NOT disappointed. Strong plot with amazing characters! I loved it from the very first page! So much that I read this book in one sitting, I simply could not put it down. Quick read for me because the author just flows with her words/writing. The author Libby Kay is easily becoming one of my favorite authors! It’s the first book of the Buckeye Falls series and I highly suggest reading this one! I don’t want to say anything about what happens because I just want you to go in blind like I did and enjoy every page!

What Actually Happened to Isaac Moore is an exciting nautical fantasy. There’s a long-lost map to a possibly real land full of treasure, it’s a classic story! But there’s so much more, unexpected twists and features along the way that make it stand out and keep the reader hooked.
I like how down-to-earth Isaac is. Like, at one point a character is carrying a ball of flame to light the way and he’s wondering why they don’t just make it into a torch to at least appear normal. Childhood lessons from his mother keep him grounded and persevering through the strange challenges he has to face.
There’s some fantastic world building in this story as Isaac enters into a magical, terrifying storybook world. Readers are really taken on a journey!
This book gets five stars from me! If you love pirate and adventure stories with plenty of fantasy elements give this a try, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!

Ginny goes back to her small hometown to help with father due to him needing surgery. The only problem is she left that town and her ex-husband, Max, two years prior. Ginny’s ex-husband whom she hasn’t spoken to since she left two years prior. OF course, being home at Christmas time brings back nostalgia and second thoughts. Max finds he still has feelings for Ginny – will she find those feelings are still there for Max? This is a sweet Christmas romance – giving off vibes of a Kristin Hannah story.

This is your typical boy wants to win sort of story. Boy wants girl, boy makes a bet. Boy gets girl. No, I’m just kidding. Honestly, this author winds this story up so tight that the reader will have a hard time breathing before the end of it. I caught myself holding my breath, wanting nothing more than to see this little flame and gust of wind collide into something enormous. And I can’t say I was disappointed.
All I need now is for someone to whisk me away on a romantic tropical holiday before the holidays to bring my spirits up. These characters, the world building and the dynamite chemistry between these two is undeniably one of the better reads when it comes to a romance tug of war. Pick this up, read it between the holidays and new years, and I bet you, you will have a better outlook on what’s to come. Highly recommend!

Falling Home is the first book in the A Buckeye Falls series. This is an excellent read if you want a second-chance romance set during the Christmas holidays. I fell for the main characters, Ginny and Max, quickly. I could relate to going home to help a parent, but not everyone has a Max pining for them. Ginny left the small town for a job and left everything behind for a new adventure. Max stayed in the small town and prospered in everything but love. Will the exes find their way back together? The story is sweet and filled with holiday cheer. I look forward to seeing what the next book in this series brings. This story definitely helped me get into the magical holiday spirit.

Satan’s Devils MC M/M romance. We learn about Joker’s history in this chapter of the series. Sad, yet beautiful emotions are shared. Lady is Joker’s light in the storm. We learn how these two came together and dealt with their relationship among the MC. This author does a fantastic job writing the stories. I’ve always felt all the emotions and with this being audio, you feel it even more. Logan, the narrator, does an incredible job, putting his all into it. He is my favorite narrator. The story comes to life being narrated with audio. I love the characters. They are salty with effervescent personalities. A wonderful listen, even with all the f=bombs and curse words. Lots of steam but if you can get past that, it’s an enjoyable story that you will enjoy.

So this one took me a while to read. I feel it was just overlong and to much internal dialogue for me. I liked the characters and was easily able to empathize with them on one hand. The other is frustration with the way they act and react. I understand Beckett and his downward spiral and Paige’s unhappy marriage but out of the two she is my most irritating. She has morals(to an extent) and is smart but she walks a gray line in the marriage side. So she frustrated me a lot. Beckett is honest and open about his past and doesn’t hide from it.
A few things I did like is the honesty of Beckett he really owned his mistakes. Also the advice from his Dad and brother is priceless. I wish there would have been a bit more of them.
Overall this isn’t a favorite one for me. Its an okay read but if you like a drawn out romance with a lot of angst this could be for you.

Such a perfect romance story. This is book One in the Bluestone series. Novella length. I read it just a few hours. Loved every bit of it, I can’t wait to read the next book. Lilly and Jake are the perfect couple once they go through a few minor bumps to figure love out.

This is the second book that I have read in the series, and it was so good! There was a great continuation from the first story to the second one. I was reading this book on breaks in between work and phone calls. I was entranced by this author’s word choice and could not put this down. I cannot wait to recommend this series to my friends so that they can read this too.
