This is a lovely second chance romance that has some really festive cheer to it. This book, for me, was all about the characters. They were so easy to connect either, really engaging and heartwarming. You could tell right from their first interaction that their connection was still their. This author is still a relatively new author to me but if this is the standard of her books then I am excited to read more!!

I absolutely loved this story. I loved that this was about an ex husband who never really got over his ex and that the ex-wife ran as far as she could. I also loved that Max (the ex-husband) had an amazing relationship with his ex’s father, because I think that an overlooked part of stories can be the people on the outside who are impacted by the divorce. This goes for in real life as well. I also truly loved that when Ginny came home to help her father, the entire small town she used to live in conspires for them. This truly left me feeling the happily ever after. I highly recommend this story.

I really enjoyed this heartwarming contemporary romance with a second chance at romance theme. Set in the small town of Buckeye Falls, Ohio, during the festive holidays, Ginny Meyer returns to her small hometown from New York, to help her father recover from surgery. She does not plan on involving herself in any of the usual festive events, such as, Christmas caroling and cookie decorating, and she is definitely going to stay away from Max, her ex-husband. However, Ginny soon finds herself helping out with the Christmas Jubilee, along with Max. Meanwhile, diner owner Max Sanchez has spent the past two years missing Ginny, after she broke his heart and left town. He’s willing to do anything to spend time with her now that she’s back, and luckily he loves Christmas. Max hopes that his charm, some holiday cheer and his famous cheese enchiladas will make Ginny reconsider leaving again. Whilst embracing the holiday season Max can sense that Ginny is warning to the idea of staying in Buckeye Falls, but he might need a Christmas miracle to convince her to take another chance on love. I loved the main characters and felt the chemistry between Max and Ginny really came across in this sweet story. The descriptive narrative brought the small town setting to life, and I loved the feel of Buckeye Falls and meeting all the townspeople. An enjoyable and engaging read, and it left me with a real festive feeling!

Such a great read!! I want to say, although this is book two in it’s series, it very well may be read as a standalone. But honestly, I would give book one a read first!! I enjoyed this book so. I LOVE a good second chance book. It did have quiet a lovely ending. The characters were wonderful. The story was one of the best historical romances I’ve read in a while. The author did amazing with the storyline. Excited to read the next in the series!!

Their heartache and struggle to find each other again is similar to a Hallmark story. This is a sweet, heartwarming read!

I loved this book so much. I fell for the main characters Ginny and Max pretty much straight away but I must admit Max wormed his way into my heart first. The story starts out with Ginny returning home to care for her Dad when he needs to have hip surgery but she isn’t looking forward to it because her ex husband is there. It is a visit that she knows will come filled with so many memories. She is also really uneasy when she first gets home to find out that her dad still has a lot to do with Max. Meanwhile her pending visit has thrown Max for a loop as well. As soon as you meet him it’s obvious that in his heart he is still in love with Ginny. I truly couldn’t put this book down because I just had to keep reading to find out what would happen. The book is wonderfully written by a creative author who now definitely has a fan in me.

Amaleigha loves reading! She even goes to the library often. As she visits she notices many people and their different languages. Looking further into the availability she notices, there are not enough books for them to read. So she sets forth a plan, thinking she can do it. Can she? How about getting others involved, will they want to help? Once again this author has written another easy to follow and fun to read for children. I love how Amaleigha gets others involved. As does the author! I look forward to seeing where Amaleigha and this author goes next. I truly enjoyed reading this to my grandchildren.

This was my first book by G.K. Brady and I’m not one for hockey, but this was a good book. I had to keep reading to find out what Paige was going to do. I love the way the characters developed in this story. The author really kept you instead in the story by the way she wrote the world around it. Everything going on around them it was fait that finally kicked in. Beckett had his world turned upside down and Paige was there to pick up the pieces. When Paige thought, her world was coming to an end Beckett was there. I will get the rest of the books to this series to keep reading about the romances that the author puts in front of us.

Freedom Rings is as it says book 3. I did not have the chance to read the first two books in this series, but I enjoyed reading this book! I was excited to read an original story so deeply described about a new world of fantasy. I would recommend catching the first two books first, as there were a few parts within the book that I felt kind of left out on. It is my plan to read the first two books and then come back and try this one again. In the book, our main character, Soraya, is pushed into the leadership position to fight against the CEO of the company DNAgen Biolabs. She is the lead in The Circle, and must fight the CEO from making this pill that will eliminate particular people from the world. She is fighting evil magic, and it is a very action packed book. I felt like with each additional character in the story, the story got better and better. I highly recommend starting from the beginning, as I want to know more about Soraya’s beginnings! The author does a really great job of writing an in depth story line. Enjoy!

This book is about a brother and sister that fight about everything. While they get very creative in trying to outdo one another, I think maybe a parent should have stepped in a couple times here. This is often the kind of sibling rivalry we see. Normally though the siblings grow closer as they get older. Realistic in nature, overall a cute story!

This was my first read by Alice Beinia, and it did not disappoint one bit! Knight in the Museum is the fifth book in a series, but this book was easily read as a stand-alone. You definitely do not have to read the previous four books, but I would recommend, or at least that is what I plan on doing! I’m always up to reading a great mystery, and this book was beyond great! I loved the authors writing style and it was a fast-paced page turner that I did not want to put down! Every time I thought I had figured out where the story was going, I would find myself caught in even more of the mystery. To say this book exceeded my expectations is an understatement! It is not very often that you find a book in a series that can be read as a stand-alone book, but this is one of those finds! Jorja (main character) is an awesome character, and I really enjoyed the story from her perspective. She’s portrayed as a strong character and was a very well thought out character in the story. She is adamant in wanting to find the answers to why several people have died. Jorja goes to extreme lengths to find the answers and on trying to figure out how everything is all connected. The deeper she searches, the further she finds herself from the real truth and who all is truly involved. To find out more…you will just have to read this awesome thriller yourself! Happy reading!!

I loved this book from the beginning to the end. I cannot wait to read more of this story. This story is filled with love and laughter and pulled on my heartstrings so much. I could totally relate to leaving your hometown and returning due to a family illness. I experienced that with my own mother. I however did not have a former flame to worry about falling back in love with. Thank goodness. Seriously, this is a wonderfully written story and I highly recommend reading it especially during the holiday season. I would love to see this picked up by Hallmark and turned into one of their holiday movies. I think it would be a hit.

Where Do Pirates Go on Vacation? by Kim Ann. This is such a great book for kids. The story is so cute and my nephews age 4 and age 9 (even though he said he was too old for it) enjoyed it. WOW!!! Such an action packed, thrilling, suspenseful book! I had a hard time putting it down. The things Jorja has to go through to solve the case of the missing jaguar is crazy. She plays her character well and is inspiring to want to be like her, so confident in what she does as a PI. The book flows well all throughout.

I absolutely loved this second-chance romance. Max and Gin are so made for each other. They fell apart and didn’t really divorce for the right reasons. Ginny came home for her dad’s hip surgery and life changed from there. Oh, you must read this book. The characters are entertaining and feel so very real. They feel like the town I spent my high school years in. Such a well-written book, you could feel their struggles. Love is hard and they have to work to get back to it. Well-written, clean, and entertaining to boot, it sure makes for one of the best romances to read for the holidays. I give it a heartwarming 5 out of. Loved it and recommend it all the romance lovers out there. Definitely a GAC or Hallmark worthy. I can’t say enough. I will be reading more from this author.

I liked the idea of this story, however I also felt somewhat confused as it seemed to jump from one thing to the next and a little hard to follow. Also the kitten’s name was “Stuck” and it was stuck in a tree so that was a bit confusing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved this story! Ginny left Buckeye Falls in a rush for her dream job and left Max broken hearted his dream diner. She returns home for an extended visit during Christmas to help her dad through a surgery and hopes to not run into Max or get brought into the small town gossip that is Buckeye Falls. Fortunately for us, the two meet up rather quickly upon her return and with the unwanted help of the locals, Max and Ginny begin to mend what was broken. This was such a cute book with plenty of fantastic characters. The author was able to give us so many emotions and made me want to get to know the town and all its people. Perfect read for the Christmas season!

This was a cute book! I have read others in this series and I enjoyed this one as well. When the main character Caspian and his grandpa are on a walk they discover something that makes him go home and get ready for an adventure where he meets a new furry friend! The book is very colourful and keeps your attention as you read each page. As a teacher of young children under the age of 5 this book is great for learning about adventures and that sometimes you don’t always succeed on what you intended to do! Overall I would highly recommend this book to parents and caregivers of young children.

This book is fun and teaches kids all about Ladybugs and their habits. How ladybugs help the gardens and where they go when it’s too cold for them. It is super cute and will help teach children to love ladybugs. Let’s just hope none of them want to store them in the fridge like Loretta. This book is educational and very fun. This author does a fabulous job teaching children through her stories.

When I read the first book in this series I hadn’t read a fantasy book for quite some time and it was an absolutely fantastic way to get back into the genre. I am just as impressed with this second book as I was with the first. The author created such unique characters for this series and coupled that with a really creative storyline that you simply want to keep reading no matter what! I was hooked from start to finish yet again. I highly recommend however, starting from book one as this book continues the storyline and without having read the 1st I would have been lost. It is fast paced with so much happening that it totally captivates you all the way through and you simply won’t regret even a second spent reading it!!

It was about Jorja Knight, a private investigator looking into the death of her friends father. It had mystery and plot twists, curses and more all around craziness. It was a very good book! I am looking forward to more books by this author, and I would recommend this one to anyone that like a good mystery! Happy reading!
