King & Hunt by Brienne Dubh was a great story! If you’re looking for something that’s quick, steamy and a little sexy, this book is for you! It didn’t take me long to read, and I was captivated from the first few pages. I couldn’t put the story down until I finished it. This is first story I’ve read by author Dubh, but it won’t be my last. I highly recommend this story.

by KM Lowe
This book had me hooked from the beginning!! I found that this story kept my undivided throughout the entire read. There are wonderful characters, plenty of action and a good flow. I found myself liking so many of the characters in this story, especially Lisa. There were unexpected moments that kept me on the edge of my seat. I really enjoyed the writing style of this author, there was never a dull moment and I can’t wait to read more from this author and I definitely can’t wait to read the next book. I highly recommend this book, you won’t be able to put it down.

Lisa: Coming is Age by K.M. Lowe is the first book in the Guardian Shifters series. This is an exciting start to a new series and it is one I had enjoyed so far. This author is a new author to me so I didn’t know what to expect going into it. I almost didn’t read it as shifter stories are starting to feel a little over done but the reviews changed my mind. And I am so glad they did. This whole book felt refreshing. The story was interesting and certainly gets your attention. It was well developed and I really enjoyed reading about the characters. As a introduction to this author I was definitely impressed and I am looking forward to reading more in the future.

I enjoyed this short paranormal romance story. It is a well written story with characters that brought the story to life. There is an engaging story about Dragmir and a pretty witch packed in just a few stories. He has had a cursed placed on him so he has turned to fighting to control his rage. One night is leaving him with a choice to make – stay in his dark mood or come out into the light and let the pretty witch work her magic. They are strong characters that at times don’t realize how strong they really are. Their chemistry together is steamy and supportive to their characters. I highly recommend reading their story.

A Kiss Beneath a Strawberry Moon by Tamara Ferguson is the third book in the Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance series. This is a sweet and heartwarming story of two young people trying to overcome difficulties thrown their way. This author is one that I have become very familiar with over the past year and her work is always enjoyable. In this book we are introduced to two characters that you won’t be able to stop yourself from falling in love with. The story is well paced. It is developed and progressed in the perfect way for what the author was trying to portray. It was easy to get into and I found myself lost in the story. This is a great book and definitely worth reading.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. It is a creative, well written story that is engaging and kept me turning pages fast. The characters bring the story to life and made me feel as if I was right there with them. Lisa was adopted and she had everything she needed growing up. Now she has questions about her biological parents and how she came to be on the hospital steps. She goes to her soulmate for support but as twists and turns change things will their love survive? It is a great story that I couldn’t put down once I started and I don’t regret picking it up. I highly recommend this book.

I’ll be quite honest. I had very high hopes for Katerina Ross’ Black Cat Security. Witches and Magic and Steamyness? Give it to me now Please!! I was very very excited, especially as I started reading about Dragomir.. until I got a few pages into the book… and Dragomir was having some alone time with himself. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, we all do it, but It was his fantasy that was being described that got under my skin. Yes it didn’t go into full detail and he was even a little bit disgusted with himself for thinking such things.. but I would’ve been nice to have a heads up that that was coming. Once you got past that the story was still enjoyable and I liked it. I just personally had a hard time getting over that one particular scene, especially having gone through a situation like that more than once. It was a little bit of a trigger, which sort of put a damper and a dark cloud over the rest of the story for me. I could’ve handled it better I think had I had a little bit more of a warning. Other than that it was an interesting story packed into a small amount of pages 3 out of 5 Stars

Black Cat Security by Katerina Ross is a little quirky and unusual and definitely original. It is a quick read, but it is full on and Katerina keeps you guessing as to what is coming. It didn’t quite hit the mark with me as I felt it was lacking something, but it was still an interesting read.
Dragomir is a beaten down man and is filled with rage he cannot contain. Being cursed and kicked out of a brotherhood that was everything means he keeps to himself and illegal fighting is all he can do to find some semblance of normal. When he meets the strange witch, he wants nothing to do with her but she may hold the key to unravel him.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story by Brienne Dubh is my first book by this author. It was a great story to get to know Brienne Dubh. This was a short hot, steamy, lust/hate story. The characters have great chemistry together. Brienne Dubh does an amazing bringing this story alive. I have always heard that there is a fine line between love/hate, but I did see a line between lust/hate for sure. Christian and Gabrella had that relationship. There was always a love/hate relationship until one day. Christian and Gabrella let their guard down and bam that is when the steamy part of the story began. There are so many questions but the main one I think is important is Will Christian and Gabrella go back to their love/hate relationship? I recommend you read this story to find this out.

A paranormal romance featuring wolf shifters based in Scotland, Lisa: Coming Of Age had plenty of action and suspense which kept me hooked from start to finish. This is the first in a new series, ‘The Guardian Shifters’ by KM Lowe and it has wet my appetite for the rest of the series. Seventeen year old Lisa was abandoned on the steps of a hospital and has no information about her past at all. Having found a loving and stable adoptive family Lisa is content, until her world is turned upside down when her biological families secrets are discovered, and she has to accept who she really is. Turning to best friend and soul mate Marcus, Lisa ends up being part of the biggest fight of her life. The author has written some great characters, Lisa, her parents, Marcus and Jasper are all likeable, realistic and each have their own part to play in the story. I like how the relationship between different characters change and develop, especially as Lisa learns who she is and starts to accept it. The chemistry between Lisa and Markus showed and I like how he was her constant throughout the story. There are enough twists and turns in the plot to not be a predictable read and I cared about Lisa’s fate as I felt immersed in the story. I was taken on an emotional rollercoaster whilst reading this book. I thought it was an enjoyable first book of a new paranormal series and I’m looking forward to reading Jasper’s story in book two soon.

This was such a great unique read. I love finding new authors and this was a great book. I really liked the fact that it was a short read and that I was glued to the pages. The author has created quite a refreshing world and I love it from start to finish.
The absolutely explosive chemistry between Ida and Dragomir is quite the draw. I like how he is able to be helped if only in a slight way by Ida. I really could not wait to see how this story would progresses. I find the whole concept quite fascinating. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

I give Lisa: Coming Of Age (The Guardian Shifters Book 1) by K.M. Lowe, 4 stars.
This is a young adult paranormal romance where the main character has no idea she is anything other than human. I have to admit that I have read this type of story before. That being said, this is a wonderful addition to that genre. The characters are real and believable. I enjoyed every last one of them and cannot wait to see more of them in future books. The story itself is good too. It is fun and exciting — it pulls you into the story and you cannot wait to see what happens next.
The backbone of this story really are the well-done characters and if you are a fan of paranormal romance and/or urban fantasy, I highly recommend this book.

Lisa: Coming Of Age (Book 1 of The Guardian Shifters) by KM Lowe was a fun and quick read. I finished this book in one setting. I loved the main characters in this book. Lisa, Marcus, Jasper, and even several characters introduced later in the story. They were realistic and fun. I loved Jasper role as a father figure. It was also nice to see Marcus and Lisa go from friends to lovers. Lisa really went through a lot quickly upon finding out about who her true nature. I loved the support she had and the friends she made as she started her new journey. This was a great read!

OMGosh! This book! These characters! So sexy! I absolutely LOVE the connection these characters have! I can’t get enough. The emotions are just flying off the pages! I literally stayed up late finishing this book! It’s full of drama, tension, love and a secret. This is going on my list of favorite reads to be re-read over and over.
Sadie, Archer and Sam. They have that bond of trust between them. Sister, brother and best friend. It’s a thin line to walk when two of them start to blur that line. I really loved the new couple then started to dislike the remaining one. We all want to protect the ones we love…but how far will they go?
This is a first time author for me! I loved her writing style. It drew me into the story and characters effortlessly. I look forward to more from her. Hopefully Sam’s story.

This was a true lust/ hate story, the chemistry between Chriatian and Gabby was crazy from the moment we met them. They hated each other with a strong passion and only played nice as a favor to his sister Amy who also happens to be her best friend. Neither of them realized this was the beginning of a new phase.
I couldn’t believe how quick of a read this book was. I think there could have been a little more to their story, not sure if I would have liked to see it more in the middle of the end.
I plan to keep an eye out for additional books by this author since she is new to me and liked this story.

Lisa: Coming Of Age (Book 1 of The Guardian Shifters) By KM Lowe 5 out of 5 stars
I loved reading the story Lisa: Coming Of Age (Book 1 of The Guardian Shifters) by KM Lowe. I absolutely love shifter stories and this one is a wonderful example of why. It is a book that pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the final page. I loved reading about Lisa and Marcus. Lisa is a young woman who has questions about her past. She loves her adoptive parents however also wants to know about her biological family. Then secrets are revealed, and her world begins to change. Marcus is Lisa’s best friend. They have always had a strong connection. He is the one that she turns to when the world seems to turn upside down. What does the future hold for Lisa? Is Marcus part of that future, not just as a friend but something more? Read this book to find out. I grew to care about what happened to Lisa and Marcus with each chapter that I read. Lisa is a young woman who has had a lot thrown at her and I liked that she wants to understand how her world will be changing. Marcus is a young man who is in love with Lisa. He would do anything to keep her near and safe. There are other characters introduced that I enjoyed reading about and many of them are helpful to Lisa and Marcus. This is a story that is about family and love. The author has done an amazing job in making me feel I was right there with the characters. This is a book I would highly recommend reading.

Dragomir, a magician with PTSD and a very inconvenient curse upon him, struggles to make a living, taking part in illegal boxing matches. Fighting is the only thing he’s good at. A sigil of anger makes his life into a constant fit of rage. Irritation turns into fury in a blink of an eye, and Dragomir isn’t happy about it at all. He doesn’t trust himself around other people, and letting out his aggression in a boxing ring or a street brawl seems the only way to empty himself of it for a while.
He used to be an enforcer working for the Scholomance school of magic. But his fellow magicians, the ones he’d always considered to be his only family, rendered him unstable and potentially dangerous to continue working with them. It left Dragomir completely on his own.
Ida, a pretty witch with a black cat logo on her business card, says she might change his life for the better. But as it turns out, her methods are rather unconventional. Having agreed to her therapy, Dragomir finds himself chained and blindfolded, completely at her mercy. Using both pain and pleasure and playing mind games with him, Ida brings out his frustrations and fears. Ida’s techniques are unusual, but she manages to show Dragomir how stubborn and fierce he truly is, still strong no matter what, and to persuade him he’s a survivor rather than a victim.

When Lisa was left on the hospital steps seventeen years ago, it left a lot of unanswered questions in her mind. Where did she come from? Why was she abandoned? What did her future hold?
Well, one thing she knew was that her adoptive parents were the one constant thing in her life. She was loved, cared for, protected… until her biological family secrets were revealed, leaving her to fight the biggest fight of her life.
She turns to her best friend and soulmate, Marcus, who happens to make her world rock with emotions she didn’t know existed.
KM Lowe is a multi-genre author. She lives in Scotland with her husband, two kids, and dogs. She loves everything book related. If you don’t find her writing her many stories, you’ll find her curled up with a good book. Book hoarding is a passion of hers, much to her husband’s horror. Lol!
KM loves spending time with her family, that’s her main passion. She enjoys walking, exploring new areas, and holidaying in different countries.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story is the first book I have read by Brienne Dubh. This is a really fantastic, sexy, fun read. The characters are believable and the dialogue is witty and fun. This was my first experience with this author. I wasn’t sure what to expect. Overall, it was a decent read. I was a bit disappointed that the initial heated friction between the two main characters was over fairly quickly. However, the way the last part of the story played out kind of made up for it. This is definitely set up as more of a short story feel. I finished it fairly quickly. This book would be a great read if you are waiting somewhere and need a distraction. It’s just entertaining enough to keep you from getting bored, but no so deep in story line that you’ll miss something if you have to stop reading. A solid 4 stars.

King & Hunt: A Lust / Hate Story by Brienne Dubh is an enjoyable quick read. Christian and Gabby have had a hate/hate relationship since meeting each other at school years previously. Unfortunately for them, Gabby is best friends with Christians twin sister so there is no escape for either of them. Once the pair decide to call a truce for an evening, they discover that they feel more than just loathing between them but is one evening enough? This is a fun, enemies to lover’s romance that manages to tell the story without feeling too rushed. Would really recommend if you are looking for a steamy story with a few laughs on the way. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

King & Hunt: A Lust/Hate Story was a great 5 star read.
Gabriella is at her besties birthday party and is surprised when she finds out that Christian was in town for the party. Christian is her bestie’s twin brother and he hates her. These two have never gotten along, even when they were all still in high school. I would say him and his buddies were downright cruel.
They both agree to try and get along while at the celebration. When she has had her fill and decides to head to her hotel room, Gabriella is shocked to see her ex walking into the hotel and in her direction. Christian who is also calling it a night does something that completely blows her away. And it was hot as heck. His action spurs some intense attraction that neither of them can deny and agree to one night.
Can they keep it to one night?
Overall this was a great enemies to lovers read. I really liked Gabriella, Christian and Amy. I had some LOL moments with these two. There are some secrets revealed that added a great element to the story and gave it a great twist. I would love to see more from these two. One of favorite tropes, enemies to lovers. What happens when what you thought for years is changed after one conversation? Gabby and Christian have hated each other since before they ever even met, and Christians twin sister who is also Gabby’s best friend, is stuck in the middle trying to keep the peace. When Christian comes to town for their birthday, things change and that’s when the sparks fly and it leads to some steamy scenes.
I wanted more! This author captured me from the get go.

This book is one mind-spinning tale of love (or lack thereof) and hate. It revolves around main characters Christian Holt and Gabriella King who’ve been rivals for years. Every time they’d see one another, they’d remind one another of their dislikes for the other. During a temporary truce, an unexpected rendezvous leads to more than each bargained for. You find yourself wanting these characters to go all the way because once they’re together, their story becomes that much better. It left me thinking, “What have they been waiting for?” and, “What took so long?” This leads their perception of one another blurred from what it used to be as to what it is now. The book is a page-turner full of sexy, steamy and mysterious to see where it will lead you with these characters as it’s full of shocks to keep you craving for more. Pick this up and you won’t be able to put it down.

King & Hunt by Brienne Dubh a fancy four-star read. This is quick and easy to read and filled with feisty drama and is so hot it may burn your fingers when you touch it. There is so much hate in this story that you can taste the bitterness, but on the flip side as it is a fine line, the lust will taste lovely and sweet in this story as well. Chemistry is off the page and so explosive that you won’t be able to miss these two.

A KISS BENEATH A STRAWBERRY MOON (Daydreams & Dragonflies Rock ‘N Sweet Romance 3) By Tamara Ferguson
4.5 Stars
I’ve read many books by this author and I believe as far as sweet, this has to be the sweetest story I’ve read in a long time. I loved these characters and I love how many from other books pop up in when you least expect it.
I felt this story moved too fast and too easy and felt different than other books I’ve read by this author. Where a lot of times I think some books have too many details, I felt this one didn’t always give me enough. In saying that though I did love this story and will still read anything and everything this author writes.
You absolutely do not have to read these books in order but I recommend you do because they are all awesome and I love spending time in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin.

An easy romance read. Although somewhat cliche, with a complicated brother/sister dynamic and forbidden relationship, the characters are well-developed. There isn’t a great deal of plot and it’s heavy on the chemistry. I definitely wanted to know more, even if I felt like I knew where the characters were going.

When Wounded Warrior Captain Samantha Caldwell Is Being Targeted By Terrorists After Killing Their Leader In Iraq, Can AFOSI Agent Captain Ben Nash Keep Her Safe?
When Captain Samantha Caldwell’s team is hijacked by terrorists in Iraq, her quick thinking results in the destruction of both the munitions they were transporting along with the attacking insurgents. But her actions come with a cost, and Samantha is injured from gunfire after sending her team running for their lives.
Assigned to the team following behind, Captain Benjamin Nash has been warned that the intel provided may no longer be accurate, and their mission may have been compromised.
When Ben comes across a severely injured airman near the road while scouting ahead and discovering the wreckage, he manages to radio for a chopper. They’ve never met, but when Samantha momentarily regains consciousness, Ben feels a strange connection once they speak.
But trouble strikes during the rescue, and this time Ben ends up shot as the chopper is preparing to depart.
Two years later, in preparation to become an AFOSI agent, Ben is sent to a training facility in Crystal Rock, Wisconsin, and the last person he expects to see is Samantha, who’s working there as an instructor. Not knowing her name or rank, Ben had been making discreet inquiries about her for several months, trying to discover if the woman who’d been severely injured had survived.
It doesn’t take long for Ben to realize that Samantha is special, and he would do anything in his power to have her. But Ben is there pretending to be an airman since he’s been sent there for other reasons besides training.
Sam is feeling the same way about Ben, but she’s avoiding him as much as possible. Although she can’t quite put her finger on why she thinks Ben is more than he appears, there would be serious consequences if she entered a relationship with someone beneath her in rank.
But everything changes when Colonel Pierce meets with Sam and Ben and discloses Ben’s actual mission. Can Ben keep Sam safe from the terrorists who’ve targeted her after she apparently killed their leader during that fateful mission in Iraq?
