3.5 Stars This was good and enjoyable, however, it felt slow and long-winded. This story takes place before our age of modern technology and everyone having cell phones so the story line actually works well for this time period. Ali is caught in a storm in the Hoh Rainforest and stumbles upon a solitude cabin that JJ(Joe), a famous country singer, is staying at to heal his vocal cords. During this brief encounter, they are connected and drawn towards each other but part ways which leads to the long period of time before they can reconnect. While the storyline and love story between Ali and Joe was sweet, it was somewhat anticlimactic. I was very hopeful in part 1 of this storyline and breezed right through, excited to follow these two on their path to romance. Part 2 lagged a lot and I became disengaged while Part 3 attempted to reel me back in but I was not fully back into the story and beginning to dislike the BFF Becca and her scrutiny towards Ali’s life choices. I enjoy feeling like the characters are real and will continue on long after the final page is read, but this one left me not feeling that joy, rather I was happy to part ways. While the author is a great author, this storyline failed to capture me fully.

This book was so good!! I am so glad that I read it and I can’t wait to read more from this author! This one was a first from her, but defiantly won’t be a last for sure! Ava and Matthias don’t get along. He’s never been nice to her, but she’s best friend’s with his brother Theo so she’s always around. Growing up together their families are super close, but she doesn’t know why he always looks so miserable around her and every word towards her is cruel. She hates the way he treats her and for the life of her she doesn’t know what she ever did to make him hate her. One winter day after an argument and fall Ava is laid up at the estate. Then if things couldn’t get worse they’re snowed into the estate, while the rest of the Kings and her father are snowed out in New York. I don’t want to give to much away, but one thing leads to another and the next thing she knows, she’s in this crazy love triangle with him and Theo! Who will she end up with? I really liked both brothers for her in different ways, but I never saw some of the twists in this book coming! If you love a good contemporary romance, enemies to lovers, a little jealousy, and easy banter between characters this is one you need to add to your to-read list!

First let me say, this author is amazing and everything I’ve read is always too notch. She knows how to keep her readers happy.
This is book 3 in a series of stand alones and does not disappoint. In this book there is Angelica who is a math teacher that everyone loves. She has definitely changed from her teenage years. Now she’s confident, beautiful and doesn’t put up with anyone’s garbage.
Chase is home from the military and cannot wait to get back to his life. Before he left for the military, he was a real heartbreaker. He never wanted anyone for more than a night. One afternoon he picks his nephew up from school and spots Angelica. Not only does his nephew have a crush on her but now Chase decides he wants her also. Chase doesn’t recognize Angelica but she recognizes him immediately. She tries to brush him off but he is persistent. Will Angelica ever be able to forgive him for how he treated her in high school? Will she be able to give him a chance?
Loved this book and the characters. A definite small down page turner!

This is the second book in the Sweet Valley series. Even though it is part of a series this can be read as a standalone but personally I loved the first book so much that I was glad I read that first. The author does an amazing job at writing romance stories that are deep, emotional and the characters all have issues and problems to overcome before they go to the HEA. For me it makes the stories more realistic and relatable and the characters more real and I become more invested in their story. In this story we meet Elle’ sister Katelyn. When she arrives to help the injured horse she doesn’t expect to feel such a strong connection to the owner. As their chemistry grows Katelyn soon realises that it’s not just the horse that needs help healing. Can Katelyn’s strength and determination help Grant to heal from his past pains or will the hurdles in their path mean that they can’t work through them. This is a heart warming and emotional story about 2 people who have such a strong connection but who need to heal and sort through the issues of the past before they have any hope of a happy future. I loved both Grant and Katelyn and I felt every emotion they went through. I was completely invested in this couple and was willing them to succeed every step of the way. They say the road to love is never smooth and this is definately the case for this couple.
Guarding the Crease by G.K. Brady is one of my favorite opposites-attracts romances. It was full of all the things I love…sweetness, spiciness, the feels, and a fantastic, wonderful ending!!!
Wyatt and Serena are complete opposites. He is a playboy who seems intent on wrecking his career. She is extremely good at her job and takes it very seriously. He has a mother who seems intent on telling him he is worth NOTHING despite his success. She has a loving and supportive family. Plus, the two don’t really like each other very much either. Basically, they should never work, but somehow they do.
Serena is a victim of an attack when the last person she expects to be her savior is her biggest pain in the neck, Wyatt, the disgraced NHL goaltender. He not only doesn’t leave her side, but he makes sure she makes it home safely. But, Wyatt being Wyatt, thinks he can use this to his advantage and get Serena to help him out in two ways: as a wedding date and getting his spot back on the team. As these two spend more time together, a sweet friendship develops with a lot of underlying chemistry that sizzles. I can’t remember the last time I enjoyed seeing a bad boy fall so hard!
Wyatt is like a puzzle piece she can’t quite figure out. He has a horrible partying playboy reputation, but he also has a sweet, caring side as well. Trying to figure out what makes this man tick now playing with her own feelings. There is something special that continues to draw her towards him.
Serena isn’t like any woman Wyatt has ever been with. She’s not only beautiful, but she is intelligent and works really hard at her job in the PR Department. Plus, she doesn’t fawn all over him because he is a professional athlete. She points out his selfishness but not in a way that demeans him, only in a way that allows him to see who he really is and become a better person. Although she does have one thing in common with him, her love of Legos. What could be sweeter than that!!!!
The romance isn’t the only plot happening in the book. There is still danger lurking around the corner for Serena, and she wants to handle it herself. Thank God Wyatt doesn’t agree. He literally is a knight in shining armor, even if that armor is a little bit dinged.
If you love flawed hockey heroes and strong, quirky, and smart heroines, along with an opposites-attract novel with all the feels, this book is definitely for you! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

Katelyn and Grant are two well developed characters, if not a little frustrating. Both are strong willed, and a little spirited. Katelyn is asked to treat a beautiful Throughbred who injured. Unknowing to her Grant is going to constantly get her way. The way these two butt heads made me laugh, but when Grant’s past comes back to haunt him, it seems to turn for the worse. I was sucked in from page one and absolutely loved reading this book!
WOW. WOW.JUST WOW!!!!!! Was I in the room with them? Did I follow them around? Cause the way this was written put me RIGHT THERE! I have read the first book in the series, but honestly I could have read this one first and still be just fine. It can be considered a standalone.

I did begin to wonder about halfway through if the book was really going to be long enough to cover all the things that needed to be addressed but thankfully, it was all fully covered! I’m used to books with this kind of plot having many more pages but this was a welcomed site to cover so much in a short period.
Veronica is the cream of the crop when it comes to IT security. She’s also one of the few women in the field. Things look a little shady one day and a coworker comes to ask her about checking into one of the servers. Next thing, there’s a fire alarm and everything goes crazy.
Angus is a firefighter who is working his tail off for a promotion to Chief. He gets a call from his sister Cara one that day her best friend Veronica might need a security detail and could he go and help. Being the hero Angus is, he jumps right up and becomes security that Veronica needs. Little did they both know exactly what they were getting into.
I loved this book, even with a bit of a surprise twist and would highly recommend it!

An enjoyable and engaging contemporary romance which kept me happily turning the pages. Billionaire and owner of Wilson Creations, Derek has everything, fame, fortune and success but no one to share it with. When he meets Melinda he’s drawn to her sharp wit and fiery spirit, however she’s also his new assistant. They become a formidable team, business wise, following a rather rocky start and after awhile Derek sees Melinda in a different light. They face any challenges that arise, finding strength in each other, but their forbidden feelings may not be enough to overcome all obstacles, especially when their are forces that want to keep them apart. This is a fairly short read, but one which hooks you from the start. The descriptive narrative brings both the characters and setting vividly to life, which made me feel immersed in the story.

I was totally looking forward to reading this – I LOVE the 80’s! Blaine’s mother owned a novelty store called “Back to the 80’s” and passed it on to her when she died. Eric wants to demolish the store to build a brewery. Blaine talks him into giving her a month to prove to him how great that decade was. This was such a great read with a nice trip down memory lane!

Sleeping with the Enemy isn’t the first book that i have read by this author and it won’t be the last. I enjoy this authors writing style and i when i saw this was a forced marriage trope i couldn’t get my hands on it fast enough. The fact that it is also enemies to lovers/mafia/second chance is just icing on the cake. The main character were great! The banter & the chemistry its off the charts & the love/hate relationship between this is full of spice! I enjoyed their story a lot and i am looking forward to reading more by this author soon! Master Campania is the Master who looks after and rules in the south of Italy and he know everything and everyone who resides there, be them friend, enemy, or hum and neutral, he trusts the other vampires who work for him and he knows that if any of them betray him, they would not live to see another night, so when he is tasked with finding a group of witches who have teamed up with the traitorous vampires and rogue shifters, he jumps at the chance. Willow is a young witch who is desperate for her freedom, she and her friends have left the magical academy where they were studying their craft in order to experience what life is like outside of the strict rules and endless lessons which were filled with hatred for the vampire race, so the small group leave the academy and strike out on their own where they end up in a town run by vampires.
Master Campania starts his hunt as soon as he can and is driven through the towns and villages in his area so that he can find a witch and get the information which Overmaster Descallia has requested and he soon comes across a group who just happen to be in one of the nightclubs he owns, so he goes in to find out exactly what he wants to. Willow has been enjoying the peace she has found while her friends are out, but soon she has to get ready for a girls night out, so she gets ready and pops over to where they are due to have dinner and drinks, but just as they are all starting to enjoy themselves, in strides a vampire like he owns the place and she desperately tries not to lock eyes with him over the heads of the clientele between them, this however, doesn’t work that well and so she sends her friends away as he joins her at their table.
There is immediately an animosity between the two, but all Master Campania wants is information and he makes that abundantly clear from the beginning, but Willow is very reluctant to give him the information he wants, but she also cannot deny the attraction she feels for him either and it is extremely frustrating, so putting her sassiest attitude on, she gives him something purely so he will leave. Meanwhile Master Campania is trying to figure out this little enchantress and whether she is telling the truth, so when he threatens that he will find her again if her information is wrong, he knows by her reaction that that idea terrifies her, but he also can’t deny that she is a sassy, as well as very sexy enchantress and he doesn’t quite know how to react to this at all.
Willow and her friends decide to call it an early night, especially after she informs them of the contents of her previous conversation, so in a panic they decide that to cut and run is in their best interest, but as they are doing this, Master Campania is acting on her information, however, as soon as he realises that it is a false lead he keeps true to his threat and finds her again, but this time he doesn’t play nice and ensure her further cooperation. As soon as she is in a word, tamed, she is again asked for the information, but this time, she has to go along as well, but when the vampires find the witches, they will not go quietly and neither will the shifters accompanying them, so another bloody battle in the centuries long war commences and Master Campania cannot help but protect the little witch and even more so when she sees that something is happening to Master Descallia and aids him to protect him, but things don’t go smoothly and Willow ends up learning more about the secrets of his world than she should.
When sparks fly between the two, neither can resist the temptation of the other and Master Campania has to make a decision about Willow, keep her with him or lose her forever, but with it being against both their kinds rules, will they be able to work out the answer before danger comes creeping around, or will it be taken out of their hands before anything can be acted upon? This is a dark paranormal romance full of passion, magic, darkness and light which will pull you along on a dangerous rip tide of action and adventure with some steamy scenes included for good measure.

Witches, magic and vampires. This is a great book full of paranormal and dark romance. I really enjoyed the story and the characters. This was the first book I read from this series so now I will have to read all the previous ones. Im looking forward to read more from this author.

HOLY SMOKES! This is one fantastic story! I loved just about every second! It drew me in and I was stuck reading late Into the night! The suspense! The drama! Just outstanding! I enjoyed these two different factions butting heads and vying for one girls attention! The characters are deep and fully charismatic. I was shocked and surprised by them more than once as their stories unfolded.
This O’Rourke family is definitely one to watch! We get to know a few pretty well and the others of this large Irish family just a wee bit! I eagerly look forward to each of their stories more in this series.
This is my first book in the series. In fact I did not know there were two others until writing this review. This can easily be read as a stand alone as I thought this was the first. Excuse me since I have a few more stories to catch up on. Wonderful writing and superb story!

Another enjoyable read from this series. I love these books because they are just so easy to read, the characters are really relatable and they are actually a pleasure to settle down with and read. The plots are easy to follow and the wonderful writing makes them a pleasure to read. Granting Katelyn was a wonderful book with great characters. Grant was so lovely, I fell in love with him instantly – I really just wanted to give him the biggest hug! Katelyn was equally as lovely, she had a great strength about her and the interaction between the two characters whilst at times was steamy there was also this genuine connection that I loved! There was a lot of emotion in the story too and the author did an amazing job with getting that emotion across to the reader. I 100%recommend this story to other readers.
I loved this book so much! The storyline was great and I loved the characters. In just one shop I was transported back to the 80’s and all the memories of things I or my family owned! I’m pretty sure I still have my cabbage patch doll somewhere! I love a good rom com story and this one was definitely one of my favourites! I could definitely imagine this book being made into a film – one I would definitely watch. There was definite instant attraction between Blaine and Eric, and although pretty fast it didn’t feel forced and I enjoyed seeing this evolve over the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and would highly recommend it to other readers.

Cruel King is a very awesome read, I could not put it down. The main characters are very well developed. The reader can really relate to what the characters are going through in the story. The story does flow well and is very easy to follow. If you want a good romance novel to read, this is it!! I highly recommend it.

This is the second book in the next generation of the Hawke Family Saga. I can not get enough of these books. The way this story is written gives you so much to digest. It has amazing characters and you get to see some characters from other stories. The character development is so well done that you feel yourself going through the emotions of all the characters. While reading this you feel like you are right there along with then and going through everything that they are going through. Adding in the forbidden thoughts of your best friends sister, gives the reader just enough intrigue to see how things end up. There are some controversial topics and traumas that the characters work through. This gives the readers opportunity to get gripped into the story. This book is another page turner that you won’t be able to put down. You will want to know what is happening, who did what, etc. This book can be read as a stand alone but you won’t want to. You will want to know the other characters and their stories. You will want to know all the dirty deets with everyone else. Softest touch was an enjoyable slow burn romance. It has the element of a forbidden relationship (employer and employee), there is an element of enemies to lovers as well as chemistry and finding love when you least expect it. The author does an amazing job with the main characters making them both deep and connectable. This is a story about 2 people from different worlds coming together and even though everything say it should work they are actually perfect for each other. Derek hires Melinda to be his personal assistant. Both of them are stubborn individuals, Derek is a workaholic and Melinda is determined to prove she can succeed in a male dominated environment. At first they don’t get on, their stubbornness means they butt heads with each other however the closer they work together the chemistry starts to build and they can’t deny their feelings for each other. Things aren’t straight forward though and there are problems and roadblocks in their way. When Melinda has to deal with family issues, I was really surprised at how supportive Derek became.
Overall this romance was really enjoyable to read. The characters were well written and easy to relate to. They were easy to like and they make you feel invested in their story and their romance.

It is hard to qualify what this book really is. It is a part of the Hawke Saga. It is a story of love, family and friendship. It is also about breaking down walls within ourselves to allow the true us to be. It is about realizing that blood doesn’t make you family, feelings make you family.
Jude has more secrets than he can count. Some he shared with his best friend since they were 10, Alessi or Al. Some he has never told anyone, and he has no plans to. One secret that is bubbling to the top is his love, his obsession with the only woman he has ever had those kinds of feelings for, Angie. Softest Touch by Adina D. Grey is a sweet contemporary workplace romance with a bit of a billionaire romance element, a forbidden relationship (boss/employee), different worlds connecting, opposites attract, chemistry, spice, challenges, a little drama, banter, and finding love unexpectedly. Derek and Melinda may not have gotten off to a very ‘smooth’ start, but working together soon has their chemistry simmering below the surface, and before too long begins to bubble over- and things take an ‘interesting’ turn… They may not realise at the start, but they are perfect for each other I really enjoyed this book, being my first read by Ms. Grey, so I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her stories- but the blurb engaged my curiosity, and so I took a leap of faith and snapped up a copy and set off to explore. And I am so glad I did, as I enjoyed the story even more than I was hoping for. I will definitely be adding Ms. Grey to my reading list and am looking forward to exploring all her other works, too. • Cruel King is a Contemporary Romance that once you start reading its hard to put down until you finish. This is an Enemies to Lover’s/ Second Chance Romance that was intense at times. Ava has known the King brothers for as long as she can remember, she’s best friends with Theo and Matthias is a hot-headed jerk at times. That is until she finds herself trapped in a snowstorm for two days. Five years have passed and now he’s back because his father I is dying. A lot has happened in five years but him being a jerk has not. She never forgot him or there time together but now she’s with someone else. He wants to hate her but he can’t. These two holy cow do they have chemistry? I truly disliked Matthias until I learned more about him. Can these two have a relationship they both want and deserve? I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to reading more from this Author.

This is the 7th book in that Masters Of The Consulate Series. This book is about Master Campania and Willow.And just like the other book from this series the author keeps you entangled with this amazing world she has created, with the suspense,action, danger, drama and spicy scenes between Willow and Campania. She makes you want to turn the pages faster than you can read it. I loved the vampire/ witch combo and I really enjoyed seeing some of the previous characters pop up in this one. characters. I’m so looking forward to the next one and kinda sad because I think it will be the last (this being number 7 out of 8 means there’s only one left right?) I really hope not though 😭 i don’t want my escape to this world to end.
Ps the guy on the cover reminds of jesús from true blood 🤣🥰love him.

Oh my goodness I LOVED this book! I was a kid in the 80’s and I loved every single page. There was so much talk of 80’s movies, music, toys, and games that it took me back to my childhood. The main character, Blaine, is lovable from the beginning. She is an independent and strong business owner who has made some great friends with the other shop owners in her strip mall. She runs a shop that belonged to her mom and that she grew up in that was dedicated to all things 80’s. The strip mall is supposed to be bought by a huge construction company so they can build a new brewery. When she meets one of the Morales clan she thinks he is an intern, not the one in charge. Eric Morales is hoping this job, his first big job on his own, goes smoothly so he can become a partner in the family company. Eric and Blaine end up making a bet – she needs to convince him that her company is worth saving and she only has one month. Blaine ends up planning some really fun 80’s outings to convince Eric, but it is hard to keep it just business as they start hanging out and getting to know each other. 5 stars!

Skin warming intensity. Once again, Sylvia Black temps you into the dark world of Italy’s under dwellers of the night. This time with pureblood Master Campania and the little enchantress that is Willow. Following their story and how they get to their happy ending while hunting the rogues from both sides. Campania is the master of the southwest part of Italy, where in most of the clubs all mingle together in peace, each respecting the lifestyles of the other. Willow and her friends were tired of always being under the watchful eyes of head witches and coven leader Devora, so they left the academy to finally find some freedom of their own. The story picks up essentially where it left off at the end of book six Master Calabrea. Overmaster Descallia has revealed several names of traitors and they have been dealt with but now the rogue witches responsible for helping the rogue vampires are on the run and hiding in Master Campania’s region. Will Campania get the information he needs, in time? Can Willow truly trust a vampire? The author continues to fill in the details of each region of her world with each book. Not only the beauty of the day but the mystery that lurks in the shadows of the night. Glimpses of Campania in previous books make you hungry to learn more about him, to get into his space and find the secrets and the author does not disappoint. Knowing a book will have a happy ending honestly pulls me in more than anything, knowing I will have that satisfaction at the end. I eagerly await the next instalment of the Masters of the Consulate series with book eight, Master Sardinia, October 19th, 2023.

This book definitely had me in my feelings. In the beginning I disliked Matthias a lot and I couldn’t believe that Ava gave in so easily to him. Later in the story I just wanted Matthias to find happiness with Ava. There is so much drama, hurt, anger, misunderstanding, family, friends and so much more. I didn’t even know how to feel about Ava and Theo, it just felt so wrong after the incredible couple of days Ava and Matthias spent together. There are a couple of twists and turns in this story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story and the author’s writing style. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I highly recommend this book.
