This is an author that I really enjoy reading and this book is one of my favorites yet. Her books are creative and engaging. This book is no different. This is a well written, fast paced story that is hard to put down. The characters are steamy and made the story easy to read. They are connectable and pull you into their world. They have great growth and chemistry as well. A story where going backwards is not always a bad thing. What happens with Doctor Frank you don’t want to miss for sure. What will he do when he is faced with a choice of going back to something he said he never would? This is a romance story you don’t want to miss for sure. I highly recommend this book and this author.

His protector is a book about a candidate running for President of the US. Jack is a great guy who everyone loves and is married with a child on the way. A botched attempt on his life kills his wife and unborn child leaving him alone and heartbroken. When he becomes president, the attempts don’t stop and his secret service team works very hard to keep him safe. The head of his SS detail Ginger and Jack become very close over the years and have both gotten Feelings for eachother but, Ginger takes a step back knowing, she cannot keep him safe and protect him while in a relationship with Him. I thought the book was well written and the characters were well liked but, I felt like it took way to long to get anything between Jack and Ginger.

This is a cute romance for those that thought it couldn’t happen. Barbara has been dealing with a health issue that has left her feeling less confident and in pain. Along comes Dr. Frank. He has never felt this way about any woman. They have a lovely chemistry. A wonderfully quick read that I wish had just a bit more story to it. I loved it anyway and found it quite romantic.

This book is a super cute quick read. It has everything that you are looking for in a romance book. It has the misjudgments at the first meeting to the growing of feelings throughout the book. Barbara went to Frank to help her with something that has Frank, who is dealing with some of his own issues, look at things a little differently. This leads to them having a horrible first meeting and yet something blossoms out of that meeting and they can’t seem to stay away from each other. Reading this book you will get caught up in the building of he characters and their backstories. You will figure out what is bothering Frank and why Barbara needs a plastic surgeon. These two things are key to how they develop their love story. If you have a couple hours that you can sit down and get lost in the small town feel of this book, you wont be disappointed. Also, it never hurts to read about a hot doctor.

This books is book one of the series. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I wasn’t disappointed. This was such a good book I couldn’t put it down!
Rae has decided, after seeing what it did to her mom, that love is just not for her. She is independent. She gets to travel and see the world. Why would she need to be tied to a man? Dean doesn’t let anything get him down. To make sure of that, he’s swearing off women. Neither one of them expect that one weekend can change everything. Why would they? They are happy with how their lives are.
These characters are so well developed. Rae and Dean are both stubborn. Rae is patient but also knows not to take any crap. Their chemistry just about jumps off the page. You couldn’t help but root for them! This book has some ups and downs and so much heart and emotion. It’s truly well written and I can’t wait to dive into book two. I definitely recommend this book!

I really enjoyed this one! This was a wonderfully written slow burn romance that was a blast to read. I enjoyed Rae and Deans chemistry. The storyline kept me hooked and I read this in practically one sitting. The secondary characters were fleshed out and had some of the best dialogue in the book. I think the author did a fantastic job making the reader feel the vast amount of emotions the MCs experienced. If you’re a fan of slow burn romance- you’ll love this book! I’m looking forward to reading the next in the series. (:

This is an interesting take on the world of demons and angels. Kai is an angel of death and he has been trained from birth to kill. He has been taught that demons are evil and do not have emotions but that all changes when he meets Byron. The young demon shows Kai how wrong everything he has been taught is. When Kai is assigned to kill Byron, he begins to question things and lies begin to unravel as Kai and Byron fight to survive. I enjoyed meeting Kai and Byron. The two are good together and their story pulled me in right from the start. The two quickly endeared themselves to this reader. Kai has gone through a lot in his life and he is surviving but the pain has left its mark. Byron is a young man who sees the good in Kai and trusts him to keep them safe. It was nice to watch their relationship take shape as the two work to figure out why Byron has been targeted. I also enjoyed seeing the relationship and interactions of Byron and his family. Their story moves at a good pace and I was immersed in the world and characters that the author has created.
Whew the chemistry in this story is off the charts! I love a second chance plot and this one comes with a little more danger. Isaac and Mina will grab you from the very beginning. They have a past but no one else knows. Great story, great plot, and our favorite Hawke characters!

This is an amazing read!! There is a prequel to this book that I suggest you read but you don’t have to in order to dive into this one. Jack and Isaac have off the charts chemistry. It’s been five years since they last saw each other and there is so much they have to say. I was ecstatic when I found out that the author was writing a second generation series. I have loved reading about the Hawkes since the beginning. Jack and Isaac have a lot of feelings and outside problems that they have to work through. This story has action, romance, danger, steamy moments and so much more. Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down until I got to the end. This is a must read you don’t want to miss out on.

Walt and Elyse were a powerful duo. This book was great though not surprised with KG Fletcher. Could the two make two worlds collide and build something beautiful? Read it and you will find out. Honestly such a great novel, perfect length, great story building and the characters are always to die for. Couldn’t put this one down and I say that often but I read this one twice. I didn’t want it to end and I wasn’t ready to let these two go. The chemistry is off the charts and these two are exceptional!

The first book of the Echo Series. Echoing Hearts will take you to amazing places with great characters. You will fall in love with the characters and their intense relationship. I love how the characters are relatable in their own way. This was definitely an easy read and very enjoyable. Definitely recommend reading this book.

Shameless Love is the 2nd book in the Bennetts of Langston Falls series. I did not read the first book, and still enjoyed this, however, I felt like I was missing quite a bit of backstory. The focus of the story is on Elyse and Walt, and their story is a stand alone. However, there is a lot of background family drama at the start and end of the book, that I felt lost regarding. I assume Teddy and Glen’s drama unfolded in book 1. This book did not go the direction I was expecting. The story starts out talking about Walt buying a house, in a questionable way, with some background drama. And then shifts to his sister Becky, and being approached by a cable network Cooking show. Walt offers to chaperone her, and up to this point, is portrayed as a southern country gentleman. However, things turn around at the New Years Eve party, and the book turns to a bit of smut. The focus for the bulk of the book is their building relationship, which was a good story. But, I feel like the beginning and the end, with Walt’s home, and Glen, is a whole other story, that didn’t seem to flow well. It was a little more steamy than I expected, but the author did warn us of that! Overall, not bad, and I would read the others in the story or by the author. I like the close family dynamic the author created.

Emissary was interesting. I liked it but I’ll be honest I didn’t love it. But I won’t take anything away from the author. What the author presented was well written. If you enjoy MM romance with some protective action, this is a book you should definitely check out. Kai has been assigned to rid the world of demons and watchers. Unfortunately to those above him “the angel of death” cannot justify ridding the world of one demon on his hit list. Byron may be a demon but he has a pure soul. He needs to understand why before going through with his orders. Especially since the stars are telling him otherwise, “that it’s not his time.” It also doesn’t help that he’s attracted to the innocent man. Byron doesn’t understand why the Emissary spared his life. He has one job and that’s to kill his kind. So why him? He can’t deny that this angel is stunning. He wants him despite him being extremely dangerous. Kai, taken aback by how Byron sees him, plans to protect him at all costs. They set out on an adventure to answer the question of, why? While being on the run. I wasn’t a fan of the brutality but I enjoyed the romance and adventure. You may feel differently and this book could be everything you’re looking for. So check it out, because I’m sure no matter what you will find a new potentially favorite author.
This is the 3rd book I’ve read in The Green Brotherhood series and I feel like it’s the best one and most put together. For a book on the shorter end Real Movie Hero I enjoyed it. Fair warning it could very well be a trigger warning for some. I do enjoy this author, I just wish the books were a little longer. I always want more whenever I finish one. The one thing I know I can count on, is all these storylines overlap, so though 1 book might be done but the next one overlaps at a point. Which makes me enjoy the author more. Both Reed and Christie won tickets on the radio to the next great action movie’s premiere. What they didn’t know was how that night would change their lives. Initially drawn to one another after experiencing a traumatic event they are thrust into each other’s paths. Bringing them even closer together. Will Reed be the next Seal to fall? Will Christie get past her fears? The author hooks you and by the time you’re into it, it’s over and you’re wanting more. This book as well as the series are worth checking out. Especially when you don’t have a lot of time. If you enjoy reading but have little time these shorter books are perfect for you!

Ruthless Hawke is a Second Generation Hawke Family Novel. Although you don’t NEED to read the others to read this one, I personally would recommend reading the other series first. You will know most of the family and their back stories more coming into this one that way. BUT you CAN read it as a stand alone. The Hawke’s New Orleans empire has only grown over the years and so has the family. Children are older and into different parts of the businesses. You have to be ruthless in this town, business, and for this family. Isaac does just that in the courthouse or where ever else it’s needed, including the streets! Their family has suffered enough and it is on him to do what it takes to keep it all safe. There is something fishy going on though! This weird company covered by shell companies has been popping up messing with their family’s businesses. The mob is at their doors, again! And now a woman from his past shows up and throws his world upside down. Mina aka Jack is sick of being dragged around and always in the dark. Sneaking out once, 5 years ago was the best and worst night of her life. But now that past is being thrown back at her at the worst of times. The universe must be laughing at her! She’s not sure what to tell him about the past, but with Hawke blues eyes staring them both in the face Isaac and Jack must figure out a LOT of things and fast!. Love the stunning cover of this book so I was immediately tuned in and the story was fantastic. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series as this book is more of a “prequel” but it did not deter me from picking up this book and diving in.
I loved the journey of Kai and Byron…..but Kai, who is an Angel of Death, is set out to destroy Byron yet totally drawn to him instead..Kai destroys watchers and demons. Bryon believes that Kai has an ulterior motive but cannot stay away….and as Kai is initially feeling conflicted in his feeling and draw toward Byron. When Kai saves Byron’s life instead of destroying it, will Kai and Byron find anything hidden truths in this fight for survival? Will they deny their chemistry?
This story is fantastic. I love the chemistry between Kai and Byron. Suspense, demons, twists and turns. I am looking forward to diving into more of this series!!!
Shadow Wolf is about a potential forbidden romance. Tamaska is a human that is dead set on furthering her career, she is extremely headstrong. When the Blood Opal (a priceless gem) is stolen she will do anything to find it and save her career. Kodiak is a wolf shifter that was hired with his team to protect the Blood Opal but feels a responsibility to protect Tamaska from the hidden magical world. The sexy scenes are spicy and worth the read alone. It ends on a major cliffhanger so be prepared to buy the next book!

I love the first book – Echoing hearts and I was truly hoping to get to know each of the characters in the first book even better. This next one was Brandon’s story. Brandon was such a wonderful character. However his wonderfulness is underscored by Callie. Callie is the perfect main character, she is strong and resilient yet despite her past she is still able to trust in people and open up. She had a past that was difficult and the author did not shy away from tackling it. Because just as in real life, sometimes we have difficult pasts that make us who we are. This difficult subject matter is what made this book even more special. It was handled in just the right way. I truly love the romance that was in this but it was also partnered with a lot of suspense. It was well written and I definitely recommend it!

Without giving away any plot points, I think I can safely say that the author has managed to delve into yet another aspect of humanity. Issues that the world experienced prior to their pandemic, resurface a few years later. It appears that some people learn from history’s greatest mistakes, while others refuse to do so. The author explores humanity’s vulnerability. This series is a great read!

Tripp is so irritated by her presence but it’s because he wants what he can’t have and the tension between these had my kindle almost melting at times because they’re poetry in motion these 2 😉 there’s time for laughs as well and the banter between these 2 had me in stitches 🙈
Tripp is so protective of Soleil and her story is a sad one but he’s there when she needs him most ❣️ I really enjoyed them but I’m nosy as to to Tillie’s Mr X is , I’ve my suspicions and I hope I’m right but I’m sitting on the edge of my seat , holding my breath in great anxiousness 😉

Where do you start with this book? The chemistry between Jack and Isaac is palpable through the pages. The action is spine tingling. The drama is and the feels are so nerve wracking. That scene with Vivi and Emilio, I wanted to punch him so bad. The family bond is so sweet and yet, suffocating.

What a wonderful read! Dean and Rae have tons of things to work through but reading their journey was great even through the hard times. I love a good slow burn/ enemies to romance book! It’s two of my favorite tropes and this book definitely didn’t disappoint. Great characters and a well written story! I wish I could read it again for the first time!

Juliana came from an affluent and powerful family so her father was not in favour of the love she shared with Dominic so when disappears after an argument it’s easy for “ daddy dearest” to blame it on Dominic and despite the fact that he’s found not guilty 2 years later , Dominic had not only lost the love of his his but he’s also lost 2 years of life , he’s determined to crawl his way to the top and with a full of vengeance it makes for riveting reading and a man I would not want to upset …..
Whitney looks so much like Juliana so when her path crossed with that of Dominic she tastes his ire firsthand and he doesn’t hold back , he’s hurt , he’s angry , he’s cruel and Whitney better have her wits about her , Dominic is not an easy man …,
I had mixed feelings about Dominic …. First I lived him then I hated him and then I just fell in love with him again ❣️😂🙈 as for Whitney , she’s a strong , patient , compassionate and brave woman she was a healing balm of sorts 🫶🏼

Rae is sent in to interview a property owner and write an article about a home when the original woman gets sick. However, the man at the house is not expecting her. He is rude and arrogant…and good looking…and did I mention arrogant? Dean is intrigued by the woman trespassing on his property. When he finds out the reason she is there, he entertains her for the weekend with thoughts of never seeing her again.
When their paths cross again, they start building a friendship…and, later, a relationship. But the betrayal from Dean’s past and the abandonment issues from Rae’s past keeps them from opening up completely to each other. This creates roadblocks that they can’t seem to overcome. When Rae shuts him Dean out completely, there is nothing he won’t do to tell her the truth…but is Rae willing to listen? Or has she closed off her heart forever?
This was a good story. It is a slow-burn that requires the main character to really work for it. There is a lot of emotional baggage to wade through, from both of them…but it feels so real because they are things that normal people go through in their own relationships. I could literally feel the highs and lows of the characters (and wanted to slap Dean upside the head a few times). I found myself immersed into their story and was rooting for them to find their happy endings.

Cash and Hollis own businesses next to each other…and have been trading pranks back and forth pretty much since Hollis opened up her pet grooming shop. They have all been harmless…until the latest one is going to cost Cash thousands of dollars. Feeling guilty, Hollis does whatever she can to help. However, working together causes their hate toward each other to turn into lust and, boy, do these to have chemistry that is off the charts. But, when the truth comes out about what is really going on, can these two trust each other? Or did a line get crossed that they can never come back from?
I enjoyed the banter between these two. While the pranks described are childish and humorous, I couldn’t believe that Hollis would take it that far. Watching her do whatever she could to help out, and ease her own guilt…and watching Cash take on the responsibility on his shoulders so others wouldn’t suffer…reminds me of what being the oldest child is like (even if Cash isn’t technically the oldest). It’s something ingrained in our brains and it is hard to turn off. These two worked through it in a way that felt so real! Overall, a good book that I enjoyed reading.
