This story was well written and I couldn’t put it down! Cristy and Adam were amazing characters that I was rooting for from page one.
Cristy is no stranger to the paparazzi. They love running a story about her…good or bad. So, when she joins Balefire on their tour, she knows that the paps will find a way to make a story about anything. But, she likes it that way…because if she controls the narrative, then they don’t delve too far into her past to find one of the most hear-wrenching stories of all.
Adam is mesmerized by Cristy the first time she steps foot into the room. He has been enamored with her music for a while, but seeing her in person is like an arrow straight through the heart. What starts off as hormones and adrenaline quickly turns into real feelings. But he can tell Cristy is holding back…and he is determined to find out why.
This story was like reading a movie…I could see it all running through my head. The details really painted a picture. Adam and Cristy’s story is one of lust, love, heartbreak, and acceptance. It is a reminder that when you find the person that loves you unconditionally, you can weather any storm that comes your way. I loved all the references to pop culture musical artists. For a while, I forgot this wasn’t a true story! A great book that I enjoyed every second of!

Savage Start (Hidden Valley Elite Prequel) by Isla Vaughn. I loved this book and can’t wait to read more. This is about Riley who has had to travel from town to town because her family and more specifically her mom is always on the run. She’s been born into a family of female cons. When they move to Santa Monica Riley realizes she’s in a new world. Riley is walking along the beach and comes upon a party and decides to join. She’s a pure girl and is picky about who wins that. She meets a hunky guy that is perfect and he kisses her. Now all she can think about is him. She doesn’t even know his name. Cole’s life seems perfect on the outside but his dad’s cheating is embarrassing and pretty much ruined Cole’s life. This new girl is just the right thing to take his mind off it. Will Riley give what’s she’s been saving herself for just the right guy but is Cole it? Read this fast paced romance with dark secrets and see what happens!
This prequel leaves you so intrigued! It’s a bully romance unlike any that I’ve read so far. There is so much going on that leads to so many questions and no answers…I cannot wait for Savage Lies. Cole and Riley are going to bring so much more angst and hopefully some answers. I know their story is a duet so I will be (im)patiently waiting for each book. This was my first read from this author but definitely not my last.

An enjoyable and engaging romance with a paranormal twist, which I really enjoyed. Maddie, Charlie and Cole are childhood friends, teenage crushes and then lovers, the only thing is, it’s all in Maddie’s dreams. However, her dreams seem so real that it can’t just be a fantasy and when she comes face to face with Charlie and Cole in the real world, she then has a choice to make. Charlie and Cole are both very real and have been meeting Maddie in her dreams for years, both loving and pining for her. Not being able to hide their feelings any longer they decide to confront Maddie, and convince her that they are indeed real and both in love with her.
Thinking she will have to choose between her two soulmates Maddie is confused, but she soon learns that the three of them are meant to be together. Just as their relationship is developing an unknown danger looms over the three of them, but Charlie and Cole are determined to protect Maddie, even if they risk their own lives. This is a fairly short read but it is full of romance, drama, the paranormal and plenty of steamy scenes. The characters are likeable and realistic and the chemistry between the three of them really sizzled off the page. The storyline had me hooked from start to finish and I look forward to the next book in this series.

I really loved this book! The story flows and the romance moves right along. The book kept me engaged and I could have read this in one day but I had to break it into two because you know…life. I enjoyed the characters.
Kayla and Evan had a hard time getting together. Multiple things stood in their way or jumped in their way as the story moved along. I was rooting for them the while time. That first kiss!!! WOW! It gave me chills! Soo Sexy! There is nothing better than a good first kiss. It grabs the reader’s attention.
The ending seemed kind of rushed to me. I was surprised neither of the MC had a problem with the way things went down. Feathers ruffled at least. I wish that could have been fixed earlier then time could have been spent on the suspense part and not doing both together.
Overall its a wonderful and enjoyable story. Filled with a lot of lightheartedness, suspense and fun characters. I look forward to more in the series.

Having read the first book I couldn’t wait to get into this one despite having read the first book my attention was grabbed by two relatable things , suicide and farming ….,
Having lost someone I loved to suicide I could identify with Grace and Ryan on an emotional level and with Grace and the family farm I identified on another level as I’m married to a farmer and we live on the family farm and bought the farm over from my husbands parents ❣️
Grace’s hand is forced to a degree to buy her folks out when mom gets ill and she has plenty of ideas to rescue the farm and it’s looming downfall but that also means facing “demons” when she has to take hands with Ryan and to a degree he’s a reminder of what she’s lost and in the same breath it couldn’t have been easy for Ryan because of the bon his sister shared with Grace , maybe I’m just too emotionally involved but my heart did bleed and rejoice at the same time because I felt this on so many different levels …..

So Storyteller finds a book and his conscious bothers him and he’s determined to find the owner and return it ( I’m already in love ❣️📚😂) but in doing so he stumbles into a rather precarious position and said owner of the book , Sheri is in life threatening situation both he and Sheri are fighting for their lives but end up walking away from the traumatic experience….
I know bikers are big and bad but there are those that just draw the line where innocents and trafficking is concerned and that speaks volumes of their character ❣️
A few years down the line and Sheri again finds herself in a frightful position and again it’s Storyteller that comes to her rescue 🫶🏼and they do get their HEA but there were moments where I had my doubts and held my breath with great anxiety!
An absolute pleasure to get lost in between these pages !

The Man in Black was such a pleasant surprise! I don’t tend to enjoy westerns, they just have never really been my kind of stories. However, the blurb for this one was so intriguing I figured I should give it a shot, & I am so happy I did. Beautifully written & artfully crafted, the reader feels truly involved in the lives of these men. Simon is truly a little cinnamon roll & I really adored him, along with the delicious jalapeno popper that is Monty. While this book is looong & slow, I was so interested & emotionally invested it didn’t feel tedious. There were some surprisingly spooky things in Simon’s dreams, a few heart pounding scenes, & unexpectedly heart tugging moments in both lovely ways & awful ways. I teared up multiple times throughout this book over small spots of big love. I did have to put it down a couple of times to take a breath or 2 because I’m highly sensitive to triggers involving children, but there are clues that lead up to those parts so anyone else like me can either be prepared or choose to skip over them. They aren’t overly detailed or gratuitous or anything, it’s just me being HIGHLY sensitive to that specifically. I also put the book down toward the end, for almost a whole day, because I was so mad lol. But that is a sign of a very good book! And when it came to the last word, everything that happened really did fit & make sense to the storyline, if not my battered heart. Truly worth the bittersweet read.

This book is the first New Adult book I have read and it was a miss for me. Princess Mora is a contradiction, smart and responsible but doesn’t actually fulfill her responsibilities. There were many inconsistencies in the story that made me feel a little lost through it. It was a quick read and maybe my age/reading genre preference made this one hard for me to get through, I did not enjoy it. I wanted to know more about the indigenous folk of Xot and why getting a copy of the original treaty was so important, but that wasn’t really explained. There was potential for a great story but the lack of character development and the dialogue fell flat for me.
Absolution is a dark romance with bits of mystery and paranormal elements woven throughout.
Dominic was from the wrong side of the tracks according to his young girlfriend’s father. He would never be good enough for her, but Dominic didn’t care. He was in love with the beautiful Juliana Rutherford. It appeared that they had a bright future ahead of them despite her father, that is until she disappeared after arguing with Dominic. Of course, he is accused of the crime until nearly two years later, he is found not guilty, but he was still in prison while awaiting trial. The one thing that got him through those dark times was revenge and making Juliana’s father pay for trying to ruin his life.
Whitney Greene lives a pretty good life, but she has a secret that she keeps trying to run from. She has psychic abilities that she tries to deny. Yet, one ghost just won’t leave her alone, and that happens to be Juliana. She needs to reach Dominic and give them closure so that they can both move on. Whitney is the key. She just has to get her to listen.
When Whitney first meets Dominic for the first time, it doesn’t go well AT ALL! He accuses her of being Juliana and helping her father in trying to destroy him. Yeah, Juliana failed to mention to Whitney that they both look exactly alike. Not only is Juliana’s father on his revenge list, but now Whitney is. She somehow has to convince him she isn’t his first love and get Juliana’s message across to him.
If you are looking for a sweet romance, this one isn’t for you. It’s dark, but Anise Storm still managed to tap into my emotions as well. Dom was not someone I easily liked at first. I admired him for his tenacity and strength. However, he had a coldness and darkness to him, and I could somehow understand that because of what happened to him. So, seeing him melt a little with Whitney actually helped me like him a lot more by the end of the book. He is the quintessential alpha male.
I liked Whitney from the very beginning, and some of my favorite chapters were her chapters. I enjoyed seeing her learn to use her newfound powers. It was a bit reminiscent of the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness, but Anise Storm made this her own heroine and her own story. I can’t not mention Juliana. She was a character in her own right. In the beginning chapters, I wasn’t such a fan of hers either. I felt like she didn’t love Dom in the way in which he deserved to be loved. However, there were layers that still would be revealed about her throughout the book as well. It just goes to show that I should never judge a character at the beginning of a book.
The plot was fast-paced. As I said, there was some darkness to it. There is a lot of sexual content, but I actually enjoyed the twists and turns with the paranormal elements more than I enjoyed anything else.
If you are looking for a book that is a quick read with some darkness and a lot of spice, along with some GREAT twists and turns, this is just the book for you.

Reilly is a grifter, con artist you name it, a product of her up bringing always having to survive and with the chaos of her mother, life is not boring. Another move, another city but when she discovers they are living near the beach, she loves the walks along the beach to clear her head of her mother’s scheming. One night she spots a party in one of the houses and sneaks in, looking around she spots an opportunity to steal something and as she is almost getting away she is stopped by a boy who she is intrigued by.
Cody is at his cousins house for a party, when he spots her coming out of one of the bedrooms, as soon as he confronts her he has an urge to get to know this mysterious girl. Cody’s life is complicated and with his parent being wealthy there is also a certain mask he needs to wear, but can he be free with Reilly or will his world crash around him.
This is a great prequel into this series, the characters are brilliantly written and you are invested in them for the first chapter. As in all prequels it is a great story to easy you into the start of the series where it carries on with Reilly and Cody.
I do have to warn you although this is classed as a young adult story there maybe triggers which some people find uncomfortable to read, but in my opinion it just adds to the intensity to this story and of course the cliff-hanger at the end just wets your appetite for more.

Mythology, paranormal and romance I really enjoyed this book. This is book 3 of the series and I have not read any of the other books, though I now feel I need to go back and rectify that! I have read other books by this author and thoroughly loved them, so I knew this was going to be good. The mix of fantasy, romance, mythology and paranormal was brilliantly executed and the characters just drew me in and held me captive until the end. Highly Recommend!

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind. I love a good rock star romance but this book exceeded all my expectations. This is the second book of the amazing Balefire series. You can read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this book as well. I was so excited to get this book I stopped everything and started this book right away. I could not put this book down until the end. I can’t wait to see who she will write about next.
Adam Tron is the lead bassist of the amazing group Balefire. He can have any woman he wants but he is ready to settle down. Adam is told the beautiful pop princess Cristy Valor will be joining them on their tour on certain nights. He is excited to play with her but he didn’t think he would get these feelings for her. Adam and Cristy get to know each other and sparks start to fly. Will they be able to find the love that they have been looking for or will secrets ruin it all?

This was such a well written book! I cannot wait to read the rest of this series! I was sucked in by this story from the very beginning. There is so much chemistry between Dean and Rae. I love that she is quick witted and doesn’t pull any punches, she speaks her mind and Dean is easily drawn in by her. He is charismatic and a tad bit sad if I’m being honest. These characters are definitely relatable, as I have been through my own share of heartbreak and trust issues, honestly, who hasn’t experienced that at one point in life or another?

A great small town romance between old neighbors. Watching the two main characters discover a new path forward was enjoyable. I read the book in a single setting. I didn’t want to put it down.
Grace has plans to take over her family’s farm in a decade, but with her mother’s help deteriorating her time has just dramatically shrunk to 3 months. Not nearly as much time as she was counting on to be able to buy the farm from her folks. Another hardship tacked onto her life that has already had a fair share of them from losing her best friend to suicide as a teenager to watching her father get swindle from prime farm pand.
Ryan, who believes he failed his younger brother by not preventing his death, has moved on from the town. In that time away he has made a business of flipping farm properties. He has no attachment to land or to people. It is that reason he is back to sell his mother’s farm.

This is the first book I have read by Fantasia Yu, and I am so excited to read her other work. One of the main things in the synopsis that drew me in was the space pirates and moon planets as I have never read anything with either before. Princess Mora is the first-born princess of Xitlych, and as such she has several obligations that embody her life. Darin is a “criminal”, pilot and the moment Mora first sees him she feels as if all the air in her lungs is gone. Ten days, Princess Mora has been betrothed to Prince Fidge of Xot, to lead in the way of alliances to be made through the Nexus of Planets. While first impressions of his picture don’t sit well with Mora or her younger sister Pola, seeing him as a rigid geek, or principal look to him. The light in the tunnel for Mora is that she was accepted to the university of her dreams in the Bronze City, far away from Xot and Prince Fidge. After a long day of boring activities and duties Mora wants to see local statues, she has read about when doing her research on the moon planet. Meeting Gota, a local criminal that is often hired as a guide for official purposes due to her knowledge of the terrain and space pirates being afraid of her, Mora sees hope. Being a princess is smothering Mora, she dreams of being free of being a normal person no royal expectations associated to her, and when she meets Darin she has her chance, and she takes it. The world created by the author truly is a fantastical one, the descriptions of the worlds, the customs and characters immerse the reader into her world. Being a short read this book was the perfect little escape on a lazy Sunday, I couldn’t put it down and look forward to reading more of the authors work soon.
I know nothing about farming, milking, or cheese production. That being the framework for Grace Uncer Fire had me questioning if I would enjoy it. But I took the chance and glad I did. The book was a little slow moving, but it did have a lot of drama that kept the story going. I was a little frustrated by how long it took Grace and Ryan to own their feelings for each other and Danny and the past. I think they didn’t quite realize their own feelings until far too long into the story. And I felt the info surrounding Danny was developed and revealed too slowly. We find out he died. Then much later we learn how. Then much later we learn the circumstances of why. Then nearly at the end, the full feelings and actions that day. So overall I feel like the author drug their feet a little and made the story much longer than needed… but overall I liked it. The characters and the past drama, the closeness of the families, etc were all likeable. I am happy that there is a pre story for Ella- I felt like there was a lot of details from the past hinted. So I look forward to reading Taylor’s law.

I DEVOURED this book! I just couldn’t put it down. The intrigue, the chemistry, was so well written. Cristy and Adam’s personality got me hooked from the first page.

The White Knight Cowboy book was a good short read! It had action, suspense, romance, and drama all in one story. The character building was good in this book. This book also had you wanting to know what happened next. If you love a good page turning book, this is the book for you. I can’t wait to see what the next book brings to the table.

Amazing, this was my first from author. Very captivating story definitely had a hard time putting it down. Strong characters and loved the lead female character the most. This book has it all heartbreak, drama and adventure. I recommend this to more mature readers but anyone who love romantic, adventure stories and everything that comes with it.

This is the first book in what I am hoping is going to be a series. If you are looking for a quick, steamy romance, that has a flair of uniqueness to it then you’ve found the right book. The author quickly jumps into the storyline and carries you through what feels like a short-film centered around two moon-princesses. There hasn’t quite been a book like this before, so it was easy to really appreciate the storyline.
The two moon-princess sisters are definitely head-strong, very compassionate, and have minds of their own. Which of course can lead to complications if they are always being told what to do, where to go…and who to love. There are very key characters you will meet, that you will either love, hate, or love to hate. There is quite a bit of sassiness, sarcasm, and definitely some steam. Amidst the tragedy that of course ensues, there is still comedic relief, and an ending you will want to read.
Between the laser guns, moon romance, robots, and space travel this will certainly captivate your interest. You won’t regret giving it a shot!

This is the second book I have read by this author and once again she drew me into the story with her vivid imagery and great characters. I don’t want to give too much away so I will just say it is an age gap romance between wonderful Interracial characters, Dusty and Lovely Jo. It is a truly heart warming read that will keep you entertained and turning page after page from start to finish.

Princess Mora is a young woman with a bright future, but that future is not necessarily the one she wants, but her royal duties come first and so she heads off to meet her future and the ones who were in charge of organising it, but Mora cannot stand convention and is always looking for an adventure. This time, the adventure finds Mora when she meets someone who works on the Moon she is visiting, but this person is much more interesting than the official events she has to attend, so on a whim, she decides to go on a tour to somewhere which was not on the official itinerary.
It is on this tour that she meets the dashing pilot Darin O’Joy, a rapscallion of the highest order, a bad boy and someone born with charm by the bucket load and Mora is immediately drawn to him, so when he agrees to take her sightseeing, she is overjoyed at the prospect of spending more time with him. Unfortunately, the rest of her party want her to come back to the Moon Palace and continue with her duties, but when opportunity knocks, Mora is more than inclined to take it.
Amid tours of the Moon she is visiting, attacks by space pirates and discovering fantastical people, beasts and places, Mora is torn by her official life and her current more adventurous one, not to mention that she hasn’t actually told Darin that she is a princess, which could cause some issues if she isn’t careful. What will Mora do, follow her duty, or follow her heart? This is a fantasy romance in a space age world which is full of excitement, adventure and space based shenanigans which will pull you in and leave you wanting more.
This book is about two star crossed lovers, Mora and Darin. Princess Mora and her sister travel to the moon planet Xot, for the purpose of Mora marrying the Prince Fidge. Mora absolutely hates being a princess and wants nothing more than to be free, she does not wish to marry Prince Fidge, even if it means helping the galaxy. She has just received the best news, she was accepted to go to the Bronze City for school, where she hopes to be far, far away from Fidge and princess duties. Mora is introduced to the rugged criminal and possible terrorist Darin and immediately is smitten. She must keep her real identity a secret from him though, she is not sure he would still be accepting of her being a Princess. How long can she hide her identity from him when the royals send a bounty hunter to retrieve her?
Darin, also only wants to be free and be a pilot. He has is technically a criminal in Xot and must take the people on tours of all kinds to receive credits, once he has enough credits he is able to go home in a community out of orbit. Darin immediately becomes infatuated with Mora. Will be put aside his fears of not being good enough and take a leap of faith to be with her?
While I loved the idea of the book, it was VERY confusing and hard to keep along. The book jumped around Alot and was hard to follow conversations correctly. I found myself constantly rereading passages so I could understand what was exactly going on.
