When you fall head over heels for your brother’s best friend, team-mate, co-worker and you test the waters to see how far the infatuation goes on both sides.
This story was filled with passion, lust, and love. Kendall has always had a crush on Pete. The only thing standing in their way is Ryan. Who so happens to be Kendall’s brother. But also Pete’s best friend and team-mate.
We all know not to mess with team dynamics when it comes to a team sport like baseball. Pete took a leap of faith when he fell hard for Kendall and then had to face up to Ryan at the end.
Will their love for one another win or will the dynamic of the team and friendship come first?

Peyton Sharp wasn’t sure about the man she had just started seeing, but when they show up at a party she quickly realizes that everything he told her was a facade. Getting thrown under the buss Ryan Graves, star pitcher of the team, finds himself pretending to be Peyton’s boyfriend at least until he can get her out of there. Ryan though believes she is just another woman in a long line trying to date a baseball star for personal gain, he couldn’t be more wrong. News gets out that the man who no one sees date is dating, Peyton and Ryan come to a truce and decide to continue to pretend. What happens though when feelings get involved though, can Ryan push his doubts aside?
This was delightful. The story pulls you in right away and I really liked Peyton. I thought the way the characters emotions were written you could easily visualize what was happening. Terrific chemistry, terrific book.

This is a Billionaire Blind Date Romance. This book is the continuation of the billionaire best friend romance series. However, it definitely is a stand alone. It is not necessary to read any of the others and you will not feel lost at all. I’m going to leave this at a very vague review, as I do not want to risk spoiling anything. Evan and his friends have agreed to set up their friends on blind dates. So far, they have been very successful. Now, its Evan’s turn. He isn’t expecting much because he isn’t sure he really wants to settle down or truthfully, if they can even find anyone worth settling down for. But he is willing to give it a try, especially since he is the silent partner in a new business venture in town, a blind date restaurant. He loves the idea so he is willing to give it a try. He has a few awful dates, but then one hits it off. But this date may be more complicated than meets the eye. I truly enjoyed this story. It was an easy read that I definitely recommend.

This book took off from the start with me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put the book down because I just needed to know what happens next! This book won’t disappoint. Dominic has had to fight for everything he owns from a very early age. When he is accused and arrested for his girlfriend, Juliana Rutherford’s disappearance, he only wants revenge for what he’s been through. When Whitney comes into the picture, she thinks she can help Dominic. But can these two trust each other enough to get the job down and to find out what happened to Juliana before it’s too late.

This book is the second in the Anderson Sisters series and was definitely as good as the first. It is a contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. The book is certainly emotional, tackling a sensitive topic in a gentle way. For me this really impacted the characters and made them much more relatable and real. They had a great connection right from the start but had such a huge obstacle to overcome. The author weaves and enjoyable story that connects with its audience. It has a great balance between emotional, romance and an overall enjoyment. I think this is a great book and I am looking forward to more from this author.

Hagan has almost lost himself to the unmated Titanian curse. He knows he has gone too far and tries to make amends for his wrong doings. However, that lands him in the hands of a very deadly necromancer. His saving grace is there waiting for him, though. Faiza takes one look at Hagan and KNOWS that she has to save him. In the process of rescuing him from a fate worse than death, Faiza discovers that she is part of an even bigger plot by the universe to help save mankind. Can she come to terms with this new life of Titans, mates, and evil necromancers in time to be of help? Or will she condemn them all to a worse fate because she cannot trust her new life, mate, and friends?
This is the third installment of this series. I HIGHLY recommend you read them in order from the beginning. There are so many characters filling different roles that it would be easy to get lost in the plot. They are strong characters that all work together to overcome the evil that threatens our world, though. Faiza’s struggle to move past familial loyalty was well written as well as her doubts about what was happening to her. Her acceptance of herself is struggle that I think everyone can identify with. It will be interesting to see how the series progresses from here.

The story follows Princess Mora of the planet Xitlych, who has been set up to marry Prince Fidge of Xot in order to create an alliance among the nexus of planets. However, Mora has other ideas. She escapes from the castle and ends up on a dangerous adventure with criminal-come-tour guide, Darin O’Joy. Mora helps Darin open himself up to love and Darin helps Mora face her fears. I love Mora and Darin and hate all of the royals minus Pola. It was a really interesting storyline, although quite hard to follow at parts as I don’t think all of the chapters necessarily flow, but I’m glad it ends with a happy ever after. I wish we could have seen Mora and Darin come together officially at the end, though. ‘Both safe at last from the loneliness of the world.’
I loved book 1 In This series. Jake was an amazing character. The friendship between these men are what every person hopes to have. I didn’t think I’d find another one of these men that I’d fall I love with like I did with Jake. Well now it’s Evan’s turn. And he’s just as lovable as Jake was. He’s a silent partner with Kayla and the chemistry between Kayla and Evan is ridiculous!! Everyone can see it except them. Or maybe they don’t want to see it because they don’t want to take a chance and ruin both their friendship and business relationship. It’s Evan’s turn to have a few horrible blind first dates. Loved this book as much as the first and cannot wait for CADE!!! Literally dying for Ryker’s book also.

This is the first book of the Talisman series. In this series each warrior must find his talisman (or soulmate) by a certain time or they will be cursed with one of two fates. In this first book we meet Rowan and Alyssa. Rowan is a modern day warrior that has made a name for his family in their security firm when he meets Alyssa, a Phd student wanting to finish her dissertation on celtic history. After finding footprints in her house she calls in Rowan’s firm to help. Here is where the battles begin. Will Rowan convince her that she’s his savior or will he fall to the Morrigan and her horrible army? Great new series

Grace Under Fire is the second instalment in The Anderson Sisters Series by Jennifer Raines. It is another enjoyable contemporary romance with family, friendship, love, loss, connection, drama, greed, farming, shared history, complications, determination, mistrust, sabotage, angst, humour, chemistry, second chances, and finding love unexpectedly. I really liked Grace, and Ryan. Their past history added an extra element of interest to the story for me. They share a loss which cut them both deeply. But instead of drawing them together, it caused a rift. Grace wants to keep her parents farm in the family, which means buying them out, sooner than expected as her mother’s health problems have forced her parent’s hands. Easier said than done, especially with the bank breathing down her neck. Ryan is back after 8 years away making it big flipping property. He’s returned to sell his mother’s farm and plans to get in and get out. But fate might have different plans, for them both. What happens makes for a great read. Looking forward to more from Ms. Raines. Happy Reading…

It has everything you’d wish for when reading mythology and way more. It also has steamy bits. This story has intrigued me from the beginning to end. Im looking forward to reading the other books by Tam DeRudder Jackson, The ones in this series and the others. All the dudes on the covers look mighty fine lol.

This is a mix of genre’s, interracial, age-gap, historical, and forbidden romance. There is a lot going on in this story. Too much actually for the story to feel complete. While Dusty and Lovely Jo are finding their way together, there is still the “who done it” mystery lurking, the hiding from the sheriff, the trying to find a way to make it all work. This book is a quick read.

Tam DeRudder Jackson brings you into this love story. It was an easy to read book with characters you love. You feel the passion between Cristy and Adam. You become a part of the band like you are family. The spice level in Hot For Me was just right, giving you the feeling this is an everyday story.

Being a Greek Mythology lover, I wanted to read this book and find out about Celtic Mythology as it has Celtic Lore within it. This first book did not disappoint with its dashing modern-day warriors and the talisman, women who are fated to love them while giving them the strength to be true warriors. Though these women are not just fated mates, they are smart, strong women in their own right. Our main characters, Rowan and Alyssa, have such chemistry it almost sparks the pages in places. Will these two be able to connect in time so that they might help level the playing field in the war of good versus evil, or will Alyssa have too much trouble grasping the world she is learning that she is a part of? As time ticks down thanks to a curse by a hateful Goddess, we watch these two face granderous obstacles as Alyssa learns and comes to terms with the knowledge of her family history.
Tam DeRudder Jackson has written a paranormal adventure that has such descriptive details that I can visualize so much of this book. This is the first book I’ve read by her, but I can’t wait to read more about these modern-day warriors and the Gods they battle.

This a fast pace supernatural romance! I really enjoyed the writing style and the flow of the story. I loved the Celtic storyline and history. Alyssa is cautious but also trust her instincts. Rowan is patient and protective. So when the two of them meet trust is not there immediately. This story takes you on a whirwind of intense emotions. And of course what story would be complete without some unexpected plot twist. I am definitely looking forward to reading book 2 and finding out more about the characters in the series!

I am LOVING how The Talisman Series is starting out! I picked this up with high hopes and am happy to say I was not disappointed. This paranormal romance will keep your attention with the rollercoaster adventures and steamy romance! Rowan has to find his talisman on his 28th birthday by midnight, and he learns that it is Alyssa, his fated mate. Will he be able to convince Alyssa that he isn’t just looking to hook up with her, or will he face an unimaginable demise? I really loved the Celtic lore weaved through the story and can’t wait to continue this series!

This book was an amazing book to read. Lauren did a great job developing each character and building the characters.
Peyton is a woman determined to help local at-risk children have a place to go to keep them off the streets. She works at a facility that has programs to allow kids to play different sports after school. She has worked very hard to build her career.
Ryan is a professional Baseball player. He has a hardened exterior due to past relationships and friendships. He enjoys playing the game and helping others. He has only a small group of friends due to his job and all the downfalls that come with it.
Peyton meets Ryan by accident in one very embarrassing way. Ryan decides from the moment he lays eyes on her that she is not worth his time. Unfortunately for both of them, unforeseen circumstances push them together and force them to spend time together.
Can you prove to someone that you are different than they originally thought? Can past mistakes ruin a good thing? Can you forgive someone for something they had no knowledge of? Can you learn to trust someone after they break you? Read this book to find out what brings them together and if they can survive any curves.

This book is the second in the Billionaire Blind Dates books. It was a fantastic read that was so hard to put down. Toni did an amazing job with character development and keeping you on your toes.
This book follows the story of Evan and Kayla. Evan is a billionaire who has not had luck finding a woman to settle down with. He watched one of his best friends find love and now sees their love grow around him. He is a hardworking man who knows what he wants. Kayla is a woman that does not want to ever allow a man to dictate what she does with her life and business. She is also a close friend and business partner of Evan.
Evan and his friends made a deal to try to find each other girlfriends/dates and now it is Evan’s turn to play. As a silent partner is a restaurant that’s main appeal is the anonymity it makes that business the perfect place to fulfill their deal. His friends with the help of Kayla match him with dates to go one.
What happens when feelings that have been hidden for too long become stronger? Will unforeseen circumstances make dating an impossibility for Evan? Can falling for someone who is dating someone else ruin not only a friendship but a business? Read this amazing book to find out!

I am of Scottish and Irish descent and I found this book so very interesting. The Celtic warriors and the talisman (their woman) they must find before their 28th birthday. The emotion and strength that these characters have fills the pages of this book. I can’t wait to read the next installment of this!

Rhia Caddell is the sixteen year old daughter of the Mayor of the small Welsh village she lives in with her older brother and parents, it isn’t the easiest of lives and involves a lot of toil in the fields and manual labour on the farm and Rhia has been doing these chores and labour for most of her life, it has left her strong, tall and muscly for her gender and it hasn’t gone unnoticed by those in the village. This is a good thing for Rhia because she can both intimidate and work at the same time and that has some advantages where she lives, but one thing that isn’t an advantage is that she is a free spirit in everyway and has no plans to settle down, but a letter from the King changes all of that.
Unbeknownst to Rhia, her hand has been given in marriage to the Prince of Wales so that the debt which her father has accrued over the years can be forgiven and those are two things which Rhia hates most, finance and arranged marriages and she cannot for the life of her understand why this tradition still stands, but despite her arguments against this imposition, it seems that she has no choice in the matter, so the preparations for her wedding begin in earnest.
As the day of her wedding grows near, Rhia is doing everything she can think of to turn the day to her advantage and when she sees the Prince in person, all she can think of is that she could snap him in half! He is so dainty that she doesn’t believe that he has done a days manual labour in his life, but she goes along with the pretence for her villages sake. Little does Rhia know that it is the Prince’s mission not to forgive the debt, but convince her that she has to pay before a deadline which the King has sent with him.
As the time passes and Rhia and the Prince come closer to the deadline, can they work together to formulate a plan to keep the peace and remove the debt, or will all their plans be snookered by snails and mud? This is a sweet romance with plenty of wit and humour throughout as this unlikely pair try and work out how to play a game they are both highly invested in without being hurt too badly in the process and it is one which will keep you laughing and gasping in equal measure as you follow along this rocky path with the newly-weds.

This is the first book in the Anderson Series and it won’t be the last that I’m going to read. This book sucked me in from the beginning and is the kind of heart warming story that keeps me up reading to see if everything works out in the end. I love Ella, she has the kind of heart that I admire. The kind that is willing to fulfill a promise regardless of the kind of situation she’s in. When Ella’s sister makes her dying wish to be to raise her daughter, it seems like a no brainer for Ella to say yes. What she doesn’t envision is a letter arriving claiming paternity of her sister’s daughter. And that person wants to take custody of Tessa. Ella is prepared to fight and she shows up at Taylor Law to answer the letter. What she doesn’t expect is Taylor, someone she is is going to fight, but also feels an overwhelming response to him one that she can’t explain. This is the type of easy story that you really can’t put down, filled with emotions and relatable characters.

I love the Anderson Sisters Series! This is the second book in the series, but it definitely reads as a standalone. It is simple to follow along and you really don’t need any background to understand. Grace Anderson is undergoing the biggest challenge of her life. There is a succession plan for her family’s farm, however, that plan was designed to take place a while from now. Due to a family emergency her timeline has moved up, and it is clear she is going to need some help. She wants to buy the farm outright without anyone’s help, however, the bank doesn’t seem willing to do this. Enter Ryan. Ryan is Grace’s best friend’s brother. The one that she hasn’t seen since the day of her friend’s funeral. The one that she is so angry with for reasons she doesn’t understand. Obtaining the farm means that Grace is going to have to run into him a lot. She is going to have to begin to work through her feelings towards him. But what if her feelings are even more complicated than she thought? And what if he might be the only person who is able to help her save her families farm? Will she be willing to end her rule to trust no one it it means saving the farm? I love the Anderson family. They are such readable characters and the kind of family that clearly has its ups and downs but in the end has each others backs. Ryan is a very interesting character, one that is hard to pin down. I definitely loved this story and recommend it for a quick, fun read!

This is such a great read and continuation for this series. If you haven’t read the previous book don’t worry you can 100% read this as a stand alone and thoroughly enjoy it but I still recommend reading them all to further enhance your enjoyment. Kayla and Evan are friends and business partners who are both very attracted to each other but fear taking it further in case it doesn’t work out and they ruin the wonderful friendship they have built. Reading how they navigate through those feelings all while dealing with some very difficult times ( I don’t want to give anything away so I won’t say anything about that) made for a truly wonderful read. This author is truly talented and I can’t wait to read more not only from this series but also from this author.

Evan is a captivating billionaire contemporary romance story. It is the second book in the Billionaire Blind Dates series and Evan and Kayla’s story. I loved the first book but of all Toni’s books this is my favourite to date. Toni has taken a different approach with this series where the characters have to rely on their other senses when going on a blind date. A place you get to know someone in the dark. A literal blind date. Preconceived ideas are put on the back burner when you visit the Blind Date. It’s a place where you can meet someone without having to worry about safety. It’s a place that everyone is raving about. The characters are interesting and the chemistry is sizzling hot. There is also a little drama, some angst. I enjoyed the easy banter between the male group of friends they make me laugh. Being the creator and owner makes it easy for her to help others find their one true love but not her. At least she thought not BUT her blind date doesn’t know who she is.
He likes to be behind the scenes but after his friend found love he wonders what or who is out there. Encouraged to find his own romantic adventure he decides to give it a go. What he doesn’t know is that the one he is seeking advice from is the same one who has been on his mind. Will it all come crashing down or will they find their HEA? I look forward to reading the stories of the remaining friends.

I really enjoyed Jennifer’s first book Taylor’s Law and was looking forward to reading this book Grace Under Fire. Contemporary romance lovers will love this book. The characters are complex and well developed. It is an emotional journey for them as they are still reeling from their pasts. This intriguing story keeps the pages turning. With something for everyone, love and loss, secrets and lies, wealth and greed, passion and compassion, fear and angst, sadness and frustration, humour and more you can’t go wrong. Grace thought she had more time. Now she is forced to act much sooner than she thought. She will fight with everything she has to hold on to the one thing that means more to her. Will she be able to overcome her abandonment and mistrust to seek help or will she lose it all?
Ryan is still haunted from a tragedy and is stomping his way through the world without thought for anyone or anything. Now he isn’t so sure what to do. Will he come to terms with his past and be there for the woman who needs help? It is not just their pasts they have to endure it is sabotage and hard ballers that are determined to take it all away. I look forward to more from Jennifer.

I was so excited to get my hands on the second book in this series and my gosh the author did not disappoint! I’d quite happily go on a blind date with any of these friends! This book was Evan’s turn for his blind date and it didn’t really get off to a great start! I really like Evan, he’s quite down to earth and a really likeable character. Kayla was such a sweetheart and I could tell that they had so much chemistry between then from the very first page and I was rooting for them!! I knew that their story wouldn’t be straight forward and I loved all the will they won’t they angst that was going on. I am very excited to get my hands on the next book in this series!!
