I can honestly say from the first page I was Inlove with this read. I loved the characters so much and who doesn’t appreciate a good real Romance book. Peyton started dating a married man without knowing it. When she was at a team party realized it she left…with Ryan. Ryan and Peyton really disliked eachother from the minute they were introduced however, he took her home and now that some people think they are a couple, they must play the part. They spend a lot of time together and really Get to know eachother. I can’t even begin to write how Good this book was. I cannot wait for more. This book was a breath of fresh air and I was able to finish it within a little Over a day. Was so hard to put it down.

Savage Start was such an amazing read. This author really blew me away with their book. Savage starts was a romance story but it also had some family drama in there. It was for sure a page turner. The author really drew my attention from the very first page. This book was very unpredictable. I would say this book is for 18+ because there are some mature content in it. Amazing job!!

Alyssa has always had a fascination for Celtic history, so much so that she was majoring in it for school. Little did she know that the myths she enjoyed weren’t myths at all and that her heritage traced back to it. Her parents died when she was quite young and was raised by her grandmother who kept Alyssa oblivious to the fact that she was a talisman.
A warrior is nothing without his weapon, name and talisman. Or so the saying goes. Rowan has ⅔ of these things and he’s running out of time to find the third before he is taken across the ford. All warriors have until their 28th birthday to find their talisman before the Morrigan comes to collect. Rowan’s birthday is coming up. He has pretty much accepted his fate until he meets Alyssa.
Instantly Alyssa catches his attention. When he finds out she is his talisman, he is ecstatic. Unfortunately Alyssa has no idea what a talisman is and what is required of them. All she knows is this handsome man has shown interest in her. Used to being the less attractive friend, she is reluctant to believe that this man could want her.
They have very little time to convince Alyssa she is a talisman and to train her before the Morrigan starts her attack. Can they defeat a Celtic goddess or were they doomed from the beginning?
I really enjoyed this book. It was filled with interesting Celtic lore, handsome warriors, and action themes. Also had romance, spice and a couple of zombie warriors. I could not put this book down. The author did an amazing job building the world. They are very clearly knowledgeable in what they wrote. All the characters were unique in their own way making each one lovable.

Talisman is the beginning of a series of books that involve warriors, talismans, Celtic folklore, and powerful paranormal powers and a bit of steamy sex! How could this get any better? Rowan is a warrior and as such must find his talisman before his 28th birthday and with only a few months to go, the hope is looking dim. But then a woman walks into his business seeking protection and a sense of security at her house and that’s where our story begins of how Rowan found his talisman in Alyssa and how they prepared for the goddesses return. Poor Alyssa had no idea of the protection spells, charms, and amulets that kept her safe and she definitely did not know who or what she was. Along comes Rowan and turns her world upside down. Does she have what it takes to be a talisman for her warrior? Such a great diverse cast of characters with very strong personalities and the sex scenes were steamy! I absolutely loved this book and the Celtic lore and legend written into the story is fantastic! I want to find my warrior now!!!

Engaging This is Storyteller’s and Sherri’s story. It is captivating from start to finish. I thoroughly enjoy this author’s writing style and their previous works, and this did not disappoint. Storyteller is a very interesting character – his journey has not been an easy one. The road to Sherri was filled with heartache and demons from the past. This book is a stand-alone but forms part of The Mayhem Maker Series – Motorcycles, Mobsters and Mayhem. It’s not flowery romance but dark and gritty. Highly recommend.

This was a very interesting prequel. I’m excited to read the full story and see what happens.
Riley and her mom have been moving from place to place without any stability. Riley would love to stay in one place long enough to make friends. We don’t know why they are on the run. They do whatever is necessary to get money to survive on.
Cole and Damen are twins from the right side of the tracks and don’t have any struggles with money but are at odds when it comes to their parents. Their mom is struggling in the relationship with her husband and the boys are caught in the middle. Cole is on his moms side and Daman is on his dads side. This is all causing more friction in the household.
So much happens in this prequel to get me excited the read the story and see how everything comes together or falls apart.

This was a great 5 star read. This author is a must read for me. Storyteller is a great character. I enjoyed the adventure he had trying to find the owner of a book he found. He is a nomad who was recently called to come home by his Prez when he came across the book. Little did he know the dangers it would involve. Sheri finds herself in extreme danger and is surprised when Storyteller shows up to help her. Will he be able to help Sheri? Overall I really enjoyed this read we get some steamy moments from these two along with a great story. The author pulls you right in with her writing. I can’t wait to read more from this series. 1-click and get started today.

This was a great 5 star read, being only 50 pages I read it in one sitting. This genre is quickly becoming a favorite for me. The characters were great, you could feel their connection coming off the pages. Riley and Cole definitely come from different sides of the track but money doesn’t always make things better. Of course we end on a cliffhanger, looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I need to see where their story goes. I will warn that 18+ readers are recommended due to the content and some darkness. If you like Bully Romance 1-click and get started today on this great read.
“ One mistaken touch, one mistaken caress, one almost mistaken taste, and already I’m fighting battles I shouldn’t. I brush my fingers under my nose. It shouldn’t be possible, but, (f)uck, I can still smell her. ”
“ Me? I’m non-confrontational, introverted, socially awkward, and have no clue who I am. I go through the motions of life and lose myself in exercise because it’s the only thing that gives me a satisfying rush and reminds me that there’s a beating organ inside me. ”
“Most people would be running in the opposite direction after what went down today,” he says. “But you’re running toward the fire. Why?” Inhaling an unsteady breath, I answer, “Because I’d rather get burned than continue to walk around feeling like a ghost. An empty shell. A lie.”
“ She likes to play coy behind her bubblegum scent, cute, braided pigtails, blinding bright colors, but she’s no saint. Soleil Stratton is a calculated sinner, just like I am. ”
The Golden Garza is the fourth book in the Red Cage series by S. Ann Cole. It is a fantastic romantic suspense with sizzling chemistry, action, danger, intrigue, drama, angst, tension, mystery, humour, banter, family bonds, a private investigation firm, emotion, and so much more. I love everything about this series and was so excited to find this fourth book had released. I put aside everything else I was reading so I could plunge into this book and soak it all up. I love the Garza’s! And even though we get to ‘meet’ the family members through the other instalments, I love it when each one gets their own book and we can get to know them so much better. Tripp is the youngest of the Garza brothers, he’s a bit of an enigma- a wild card and adrenaline junky. Always looking for ways to feed his inner demon, whether it be motor sports, underground fighting, MMA, secret covert missions, no-strings sex, or flying down the freeway as fast as his motorcycle will take him…. Tripp always lives close to the edge. Soleil is his younger sister’s best friend- and entirely off-limits. So, it’s lucky that he finds her completely annoying. Really! He can’t stand her. He can barely tolerate being around her. So, helping her when she needs it the most is completely out of character for him. Keeping her safe becomes top priority, especially when everything she ever thought she knew was nothing but a lie…. There’s more to her story than meets the eye. And he’s just the man to get to the bottom of it all. But what happens when feelings become involved? But what happens if the past doesn’t want to be revealed? What happens when secrets come to light? Well, the tension mounts, the suspense increases, sparks fly and the pages sizzle as it all unfolds- making for a riveting, unputdownable read… Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it could be read as a standalone, but let me tell you, you would definitely be missing out! The other books are fantastic in their own rights, as well as giving more depth and detail to the other characters, and providing backstories that are incredibly intriguing. Having all those other details on board before you start this book, will definitely enhance your reading experience of not only this book, but the series as a whole. I am excited to see that Tillie will be getting her own book with the next instalment, “The Crowned Garza”- but also a little sad to discover that it will be the conclusion to this brilliant series…. not sure I am ready to say goodbye yet. But, still…… Bring on Book #5!!!! Happy Reading…

I’m not sure how I feel about this book, so I’m going to start this another way and I’ll make a decision at the conclusion. First let’s start by saying the way this book reads, tells me the author did a lot of research before writing. It might be a book of fiction but Handle with Care read as something that could be very informative as well. There was slight romance tied in, but it mainly focused on a deadly outbreak and how to stop it. Finding the source of how it started. Containing it to the general encampment of 400,000 people. Yes, that’s a lot of people but worldwide would be worse. Finding out why it impacted men at a more casualty rate than women. The author when answering those questions put lots of thoughts and responses behind it. There was really only one question that came to mind while reading it. That was, Was this intentional? A question that’s addressed by characters and becomes part of the context about midway through, then till the end is how to answer that question and respond. Dr. Hunter Montgomery and Dr. Selma Bryant have known each other for years. Both of them former military medics for different branches of the military. However they constantly crossed paths and worked together. Selma was married at the time so personal interest between them wasn’t a thing. Even though her husband suspected it was. Now years later they’ve found one another again and are building a life together, till Selma runs. And ran she did, right to the UN relief agency Doctors Abroad, which landed her in Northern Rusda. Signing a contract that would bring her home in April she thought she was doing a great thing and helping out those who didn’t have easy access to care, despite the real reason she was there. You can guess what happens next: people start getting sick/dying at an alarming rate and they can’t figure out the how and why? As I continued to read I started to wonder if the jealous ex-husband had something to do with it. At the same time that would be a lot to get revenge on one person. So I bumped it to the back burner but the question continued to simmer. This book is written to me in a journal type format, each day this is what happens. I think that’s what took me out of it some. I didn’t dislike it but I didn’t love it either. If you enjoy medical outbreak dramas this is definitely for you. The author displays knowledge and understanding of what’s being written. Giving the reader so much information to help them understand everything that’s going on keeping them locked in on the story.

I really enjoyed this book though it isn’t what I would normally go for. I am not normally into sport romances however this one knocked it out of the park! The drama, chemistry and romance was amazing and I enjoyed losing myself in this one. Second book of the Playing for Keeps series however, I only read this one and felt it stood on its own just fine! Nice easy read!

Another book by this author that does not disappoint. Storyteller vowed off love after being betrayed, Sheri didn’t think anybody could love her. Fate had a different plan and brought these two together in the most unique way. This book does not disappoint and has a great mix of action, suspense, and love. I enjoyed seeing things through the eyes of a nomad that has chosen that lifestyle and the struggles it can bring. Storyteller and Sheri work perfectly and the chemistry upon their first meeting was instant. Fantastic story. Looking forward to hopefully reading more about the members of the wretched soulz.

This author does a wonderful job of not just creating a MC but brings out characters in the MC’s she writes about that connect you to them in ways you don’t expect. StoryTeller’s Tale is no different. He’s been traveling the US going wherever the road takes him. One day, he finds that he needs to help someone who he doesn’t know but will change his life. I started following this author a couple years ago. Anytime I come across one of her books, I get so excited. StoryTeller’s tale is my new favorite!

I really enjoy every book written by this author and this story is fantastic!! Roller coaster of emotions, danger, twists and turns this book was easily consumed by me as I read each page.
StoryTeller (which I love this name for a member of MC) thought he was lucky in love until he was deceived and upon being a member of the Wretched Soulz MC, becomes a nomad on his own. While at a stop for a break when out riding…he stumbles across a book that intrigues him and decides to keep it for himself, not realizing the impact of this decision.
Sheri is trying to find her way, trying to put herself a bit out there….she decides to do something for herself by attending a author signing for that she is excited to go to alone. When at a local stop for a break, Sheri finds herself in a bit of danger with another MC and is taken.
When Storyteller finds Sheri’s book and looks more into why she lost it, this really opens up danger, as Storyteller has to decide if he can help Sheri, whom is in danger. Will ST help Sheri before it is to late?
This is a definite must read!! I loved how both ST and Sheri are “bookworms” (as I can totally relate) and both come from hurt pasts. Another fantastic story by Manda Mellett! I am hoping for some more from the Wretched Soulz MC.

I truly enjoyed this book! The main character Rhia has grown up in a small village that has not been paying their taxes to the King so his sixth son is sent to marry her and figure out a way to get the gold. I love Rhia, she is witty and sassy and strong. She is a twin and is not dainty like most girls, she is tall and broad shouldered and has worked hard her entire life. Emerys, the prince and her new husband, grew up in a larger city and is not used to getting his hands dirty. They are enemies who have to work together to save the town. When they start to work together and actually talk and get to know each other they learn they have more in common than they thought. This was a fun historical YA novel and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended.

This is a short novella, a prequel to a promising new adult series. Be aware it does end in a cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more. Can I just say wow, I’m so glad I picked this up to read, but I want the rest of the series now because I have to know what happens next to Cole and Riley.
Riley is a quick thinker she’s had to be, as she’s seen and helped with more cons than she wants to admit. Her mom and her have just moved yet again, and Riley is waiting to find out what the new con will be despite her mom telling her they are finally safe from her father and won’t be conning anyone or moving again. She is trying to figure out her new look to blend in when she stumbles onto a party. It’s there she meets Cole, one of the ElITIES of Hidden Valley. Cole isn’t your typical good-looking jock though he pretends to be, while he hides the family drama he is trying to deal with.
This is a fun, fast enemy to lovers and a new adult bully romance that has left me wanting to know more about Riley and Cole. I honestly can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out.

Manda Mellett’s book StoryTeller’s Tale is part of The Mayhem Makers Series – Motorcycles, Mobsters, and Mayhem (MMM) author event and world collaboration. These standalone novels and are by several bestselling authors who write twisted chaos. What more could you want with bikers, mobsters, and dark romance. I will have to go and check out the other authors. Wow! What a tale it is. A great start to what promises to be an amazing series the Wretched Soulz MC. Ah Manda Mellett does some of the best MC stories around. She is one of my fav authors so it’s always yes please gimme now when she has a new book out. It is full of intrigue, suspense, twists and turns and the unexpected. It is also action packed and steamy. StoryTeller has always wanted a somewhat normal like but unfortunately it wasn’t in the cards for him. Betrayal is a bitter pill to swallow. Now he is ordered to return to one place he doesn’t feel welcome. Trying to do the right thing he soon finds himself facing one of the darkest sides of humanity that there is. I absolutely fell in love with this story and it’s characters. It is a very emotional ride, but it is a great ride. You will not be disappointed.

Storyteller has a shell of stone and a heart of gold. Sheri has a gentle exterior, a brain like Einstein, and a selfless heart. Sheri is constantly worrying about others, something many of us understand too well. Storyteller finds himself hooked on this woman he has never even met. Sheri finds herself in a predicament and fantasizes about being saved by this nomad. Is it a dream or does she end up with the man she has always wanted?
This author never fails to disappoint. From the get-go I was pulled in. The prologue left my jaw hanging. The author seemed to put their heart and soul into this book. The interest that both of the main characters have in reading is uncanny and all too familiar. Particularly their interest in MC storylines. I have not found a novel written by this author that I have not loved. The only reason you will regret picking up this book is because once you start, you will not be able to put it down until you are done. So make sure to set a few hours aside in your schedule because you will not get anything done until you finish this book.

StoryTeller’s Tale (Wretched Soulz MC) by Manda Mellett 4 Stars
This author is definitely in my top ten favourites. I’m so excited that a new series has started. She absolutely nails the MC romance genre. Once again the story is filled with action, danger and romance. There was great world building and character development. There are lots of interesting characters to expand upon within the series. I really liked StoryTeller. He’s honest, loyal and has a heart of gold. After what happened when he was a prospect, I don’t blame him for going nomad. I don’t know if I would have trusted my “brothers” afterwards. Sheri was refreshing. She’s definitely not your stereotypical biker chick. She’s quiet, reserved and a bookworm. Their story has a unique beginning. Fate definitely had a hand in brining these two together. If you have never read a book by this author, this is a good one to start with.

This book is one full of betrayal, trauma, love, and growth. The main character is a wonderful woman capable of giving it all for the one she calls her best friend. In this book you see her grow and realize how dome people are not who you think they are. Growing apart from the people that is most important to her and growing close to new people that dhe didn’t knew will be close to her. My Pearl Heart is a book that will definitely keep you entertained but be prepared to get angry with some of the characters. Highly recommend this book. Best part is, it has a happy ending.

This book is absolutely amazing. Manda Mellett is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, as her books keep me up until I finish them. I would complain, but every one of the stories leaves me thinking about life a little differently. They are truly page turners. The storyteller is such an amazing character. He has so much to him, he is more than what meets the eye. Sheri is a wonderful character who has never found anyone to love and cherish her. Someone who puts her first. Crazy thing is, it takes a terrifying, life changing event for her to find someone who values her. The Storyteller and The Club are two things that Sheri could never have imagined. But she learns they are so much more than a club, its about people that value one another. Definitely read this one. I cannot tell you adequately enough how amazing this book is!

I want to start out by saying that this is the fourth book in the BaleFire Series – but it is the first one I’ve read and it definitely works as a stand alone. Adam is part of the hit band Balefire. Cristy is one of the hottest pop singers on the planet. She has agreed to join Balefire on their tour. They both know that their collaboration will drive their fans crazy. However, what they don’t realize is that this collaboration will be electric in so many ways than one. This book was amazing and watching Cristy interact with Balefire was amazing. I truly loved Cristy’s character and the depth she had to her. I loved the way that the author wrote and I have to say that now that I have read the fourth book I will be ordering books one through three right away. It is the perfect romance between two world famous stars.

I thoroughly enjoyed this exciting standalone MC romance by one of my favourite authors, she never disappoints. The story introduces us to the Wretched Soulz MC, and nomad StoryTeller, who spends his time on the road travelling from place to place. However, when his Prez demands that he returns, StoryTeller makes his way back to the clubhouse. At a rest stop he finds a discarded brand new book with a dedication and author signature inside. As a book lover himself, he knows this is likely a prized possession and probably left behind by accident. StoryTeller decides to try and find the owner of the book, but all he has to go on is her name, Sheri written inside. This is the start of a rollercoaster of a ride and a storyline which had me hooked throughout, and kept me gripped till the last page. Although StoryTeller’s never met Sheri he ends up putting his life in danger, and maybe even his MC at risk. As usual the plot twists and turns kept me happily turning the pages, and I soon felt completely immersed in the Wretched Soulz MC’s world. I loved the relationship between StoryTeller and Sheri and how it developed throughout the story, their chemistry sizzled off the page and led to some steamy scenes. The drama, suspense and romance kept me reading late into the night, this was a real page turner of a novel which I definitely recommend!

Hot For Me is the fourth book in the Balefire series but the first book I’ve ever read by the author. This book was an excellent stand alone romance but as always, I have to wonder how much I would have enjoyed the book seeing any tie ins from previous installments if I read the series in order. I don’t read a lot of rock star romances but something about this book gave me a familiar feeling I really enjoyed. I caught myself thinking about some of my favorite bands and their lives on tour. The chemistry in this book was palpable whether it be between Adam and Cristy or bandmates and the fans. I feel like the whole storyline had a great energy that kept me invested from start to finish. I was SUPER excited to see the playlist at the end of the book was comprised of bands I love and included my favorite Papa Roach song of all time. Somehow this only just solidified my feelings about the book as a whole. I’ll definitely be circling back to the previous books in the series and reading more from this author.

This was such an amazing story. The characters was well thought out. You can really tell the author put a lot of thought into this book when they wrote it. This book was about StoryTeller and Sheri’s love story. They had a lot of heart break and they had to find love. I can’t wait to read more of the series because it was that good. It was definitely a page turner!!!

What a great start to an adult bully romance series. This is Riley and Cole’s beginning of the Enemies to Lovers series that you won’t want to miss out. Riley only knows the world of cons, her mother being the first example. Cole is his own coming to adult world and very opposite from Riley. Setting on both sides of the fence, these two meet and their worlds change. No spoilers to be found. This new to me author perked my interest. Her story is just getting started with these polar opposites. Their lives are just as we were at their age. And the romance is breathtaking as well. The story is not a stand alone and ends with you wanting so much more. I for one can not wait for the next in this series. Caution this is for adults, due to the contents. Enjoy fellow readers!
