I found this book to be quite entertaining. There were adventures that left you feeling all the emotions. I found myself laughing, crying, etc. Each chapter brought a new tale. I thought the story line was quite enthralling. I know it grabbed my attention from the beginning. The characters were just that. Some big personalities in this book. I really enjoyed the book and I would recommend it to others also.

City girl, Lily, meets country boy, Jake. This was a fun romp through the relationship between them. Lily came back to take over her father’s hardware store. Jake is a macho stud with an attitude. The chemistry is there but Lily is from London so through in some culture shock and you have a bit of the funniest romance. Lily has some issues to take care of. She has some family that has guilting down to a T. Jake has his won issues. Watching them develop this relationship shows how love takes two and the right tools to make things work. Will it work? Can they move forward through their issues? Gotta read it to find out. I loved the storyline. All the characters in this story are fantastic. Definitely fit the small town personalities. The plot ran fairly smooth. It’s a terrific tale that is a quick read for the romance lover.

This book is phenomenal. This is a book that you must read. I can’t tell you much without feeling like I’m giving you spoilers. Kate and Chase come together when she’s designing a building for him. This is the start of some mysterious happenings for these two. Someone is trying to kill Kate. This is one of the best romantic suspense I’ve read. There Is plenty of steam. It is delightful to see their relationship grow and work through the growing pains. These two give off sparks and chemistry from the start. The antagonist is written so well that you can’t help but be creeped out by him. I will be diving into book 2 of this series so that I can continue to see what happens. This is a fantastic romantic suspense. You should one-click and read it. I highly recommend it.

I read Leslie Georgeson’s ‘Beast,’ the 5th book in her Popov Bratva’s series, in A NIGHT. It started off steady, but after the first few chapters I was HOOKED. I could not put the book down. The story is told from both the point of view of the mafia bodyguard, Adrik – aka the beast – and the mafia princess, Annika, and I think it’s really important how the two love interests have physical deformities/disabilities, a group of people we rarely see in love stories but SHOULD. It’s emotional, it’s romantic, it’s full of lust and pining. It’s everything you want from a mafia romance. ‘I didn’t even know the girl. Yet, I felt an inexplicable affinity to her.’ It’s a must read! I highly recommend!

5 Stars Love Tools (Bluestone Series Book 1) by Isobel Reed
Love Tools is the first book in Bluestone series and is a wonderfully written Contemporary Romance that I freaking loved reading. I was pulled in from the beginning and I pretty much devoured this book in one sitting. I’m fairly new to this author but I’m definitely interested in finding out what other books they have written. This is Lilly and Jake’s story, she has a habit of picking the wrong men to date and now finds herself in Bluestone running her estranged father’s hardware store. Jake has one love of his life and that’s his ranch he’s considered the king of casual until he meets her. Now he can’t stop thinking about the mouthy blonde and must convince her somehow that he’s not the other men she’s dated in the past. Can Jake show her what a real relationship should look like? Can Lilly open her heart and let Jake in? I highly recommend reading this fast paced story to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading many more books by this author.

This book is book two of the series but can be read as a standalone. This is a contemporary second chance romance.
Mary and Brad were friends growing up until Mary broke Brad’s heart. Brad is back in town for his sister’s wedding and still holds onto his hurt feelings from all those years ago. Mary is fresh off of a break up ready to do her own thing. Thanks to a mutual friend, Mary and Brad reconnect but it’s not as easy as that. They are forced to face the past and all of the hurt and misunderstandings. Will the crushes they both had lead them to a second chance?
I really enjoyed this book! Mary’s character was relatable. Brad was a little harder to like but his holding on to the grudge he had against Mary worked for the storyline. Overall it was a good book!

Amazing! The second book in the Tallie Brown series and what a brilliant suspenseful read. Even though I hadn’t read book 1, the author does a great job of tuning the reader in. I will be going back and reading book 1 though, as I feel there is much more to know about Tallie’s past. This book has it all – drama, suspense, mystery, crime and action. It is delivered seamlessly and I was gripped from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I enjoy reading books by this author. They are real, raw, clean romance novels that have you feeling like you are a part of the story, or at least watching from the closest armchair. The characters are relatable and you’ll be cheering them on in their journey. There are a lot of ups and downs but in the end, the second chance is worth it!

I adored this second chance romance. The characters were lovable, the storyline believable, and the setting endearing. This was quick read that I enjoyed spending time with. This is the second book in the series…with some crossover characters…but you don’t have to have read the first one to understand what is happening. I think both characters were relatable and their story made for entertaining reading. Overall, a good book.

An easy, sweet read. The author does a wonderful job creating a setting and developing characters in such a short read!
Mary and Brad are believable characters and the reader can feel their struggle and tension with one another as they hold on to pain from the past. Coming back into each other’s lives wasn’t what they had planned, but can they work through the pain from the past to have something better than they ever had?
This is a sweet, clean story about second chances and a journey through healing wounds from the past. It is an easy, quick read that keeps your attention and is easily finished in one sitting and is recommended if you looking to pick this one up!

I have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to read other books by this author and enjoyed each of them. She hasn’t pigeon holed herself in one genre which means you never know what she will be releasing next.
The local cupid is working her magic to help two hearts reconnect after several years apart and she’s pretty slick. I even fell for it.
Mary and Brad have some pain associated with the other but even after more than ten years those wounds aren’t completely healed.
Mary keeps way too much to herself and I wish she had reached out to her sister or anyone really.
Brad probably keeps way too much to himself too, but I think he reason is a little different. He’s a good guy with a great heart.

What a beautiful book! I love this author so much! The characters, the story, the emotions!!! I can’t get enough! I read Beast in one day. I kept telling myself ok one more chapter then I’m going to stop. Next thing I know it’s 2 am and I’ve finished the book. What I enjoyed most about this story is that Adrik’s past was revealed in little pieces. It kept me reading. When the whole story of his childhood was revealed my heart hurt for him. Annika is such a treasure. I enjoyed her character a lot. She’s had her fair share of trauma but she’s strong. It was like their lives led them to each other. This was a good read worth the lack of sleep.

Revenge Never Rests (Tallie Brown Suspense Book 2) by Laurie Lewis. I loved this book just like I loved the first one. I do recommend reading the first book before this one to better understand what is happening. Its the story of Tallie Brown who is strong and independent but when she sets out to help many people who have been kidnapped or drugged she realizes she may be in over her head. With Tallie realizing she could have had a whole different life if circumstances were different in her past is hard for her to swallow. Fast paced, full of action, crime, kidnapping and intrigue keeps you flipping pages late in the night. You will root for Tallie all through this book and the adventure it takes you on is fast paced and very interesting. Do yourself a favor and read the Tallie Brown Series today!

This is an entertaining book! I was hooked right away by the humor and the witty playful banter between the two characters. Tenley and Teagen have very opposite opinions when it comes to love. They both have podcasts on the subject. When Teagen inadvertently invites Tenley on a romantic retreat in Hawaii, things don’t go as planned for either one of them. Their story is fun and entertaining, and the author tells a wonderful story. While the story is centered around the Christmas holiday, I recommend it for anytime of the year!

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming second chance at love sweet romance. I was kept happily turning the pages of this standalone story, which had me hooked throughout. Mary had a secret crush on Brad when they were younger, but thinking he wasn’t interested in her, she ended up dating Brad’s friend Jim. Meanwhile, Brad left his hometown after he graduated, as he didn’t want to see his friend and the girl he had a crush on together. Having put his past regrets, of not confessing his feelings to Mary, behind him, he’s worked hard building his construction business into a success, but he’s forced to return home for his sister’s wedding. His plan is to get through the weekend and then leave, but then he meets Mary again, and she’s newly single and ready to date. Mary is surprised to come face to face with her school crush, but instead of a shy lanky boy, Brad is now a gorgeous confident man, it’s just a shame he seems hesitant to get to know her again. When a matchmaking friend gets involved, Brad and Mary are forced to face the painful misunderstandings that cost them a relationship during their teenage years. I love Brad and Mary’s characters, as they are both likeable and relatable, and their chemistry really came across in the narrative. I was cheering the couple on hoping they would get their second chance at romance and a well deserved HEA!

This is one author I always enjoy reading new things from as she always seems to create sweet and interesting stories. I enjoyed this first book in this series and I was glad to see this book met my expectations. I enjoyed the characters in this book. It was nice to see their development and watch them reconnect after so many years. The book itself was a little well written and exactly in the style I have come to expect from this author. It was a steady pace, a little slow at times, but with an engaging story overall. I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

I have read a lot of Dark Mafia romances, but I loved this one. It wasn’t what I normally read, but it kept my interest and kept me wanting more. I just finished the first book, and can’t wait to get started on the 2nd one in this series. Chase and Katarina are characters that you will want to get to know. This was the first book that I read from this author, and I hope she has some similar books to read after I finish this series!

Ahhhhhh! These two, Mary and Brad, drove me crazy. Seriously. They still have residual feelings from when they were in high school but each harbor hurt, anger or resentment about one incident that has colored everything since. BUT, neither want to talk about their feelings. Ugh!!!
This sweet romance of first love getting a second chance is good. The story is relatable and the characters are real. I just wanted to shake them both at different times and scream for them to talk to one another!! Like when Brad got all in his feelings when Mary asked if a family was in his future. I don’t believe she was trying to hurt him. I believe Mary was genuinely curious if that was something wanted in or for his future. *sigh* I was totally in favor of the way Laurie got Mary to the hospital.
To make the rock formation perfect, Mary needs to carve her and Brad’s initials, just like the original!!

This is a beautiful second chance romance. It is a short read and I read it in one sitting. The author’s writing really draws you in. The characters are so likeable and relatable that you just know this had happened to someone somewhere and it makes the story even more realistic. It’s a heartwarming story about young lost love, heartbreak and finding the strength to take a chance on a love that was lost in the past.
In this story we read about Mary and Brad. In their teenage years they had an attraction and spark but Brad’s shyness lead him to be too scared to let Mary know how he felt and he lost her when she started to date his friend. Fast forward and things have definately changed. Brad is now a confident and successful man. He returns to his home town to attend Mary’s sister’s wedding. All he wants is to leave without the risk of losing his heart all over again.
Another big change is that Mary is single and finding her way in the world on her own. When she meets Brad again there is no denying that the attraction and feelings are still there. The question is will they be prepared to take a chance on each other this time, or will the pain and misunderstandings of the past stop them from finding a future?

This is the second installment in the Second Chance Romance Series by Jane Suen, though it can be read as a standalone book. Mary and Brad, whom we met previously in book one, share their story of heartache, misunderstandings, love, and past humiliation. It’s been ten long years since these two childhood friends have talked or seen one another when one of their friends arranges for them to run into each other. Can they overcome the heartache of the past and the feelings that were never divulged in order to be friends or more? Are second chances really possible? Will the old feelings that resurface overshadow the pain, humiliation, and heartache of the past? Will Laurie continue her plotting and matchmaking schemes? She is truly an amazing character and friend in this series. Jane Suen has written a beautiful, clean, feel good, story of love with heartwarming characters. I’m enjoying this series and hope to read more by this talented author.

I enjoyed reading this second chance romance story. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I enjoy her writing skills and her attention to details that make her characters pop. This book is no different. This is the first book in this new series for this author and what a great start it is. This is a well written story that has characters that don’t give up on each other and have pasts that need to be overcome. I enjoyed how the characters pulled me into the story from the start. They are engaging and I found them to be relatable. They brought life to the story and had me coming back for more. Their chemistry is great and made the story easy to read. I also enjoyed the growth of them and the plot throughout the story. This is a great story that filled my snowy afternoon with warmth. I highly recommend this book and this author.

5 Stars Beast (Popov Bratva Book 5) by Leslie Georgeson
Beast is the fifth book in the Popov Bratva Series and is a Suspenseful Romance with lots of action, drama, dark romance and some intense turns that will have you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going on. I was hooked from the beginning and man on man did I devour this book. This is Beast and Anika’s story and holy cow these teo both have secrets and will have your heart breaking in some spots. I don’t want to give anything away as I thnk you should experience this for yourself. But I highly recommend reading this book/series to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to the next book in this series.

Josh is recently divorced but something his ex-wife said is rumbling around his brain. Was Mavis the love of his life and why did she runaway all those years ago. Josh had loved her and would have done anything for her but one night when they were seventeen, she upped and left in the middle of the night, his family have always swayed him away from finding her but what ifs are too strong.
Mavis left in under the cloak of darkness all those years ago with a secret, but over the years the pain has subsided but never truly gone away. She wonders what life would have been like with Josh but never let’s herself dwell to long, but over the years life has become more complicated.
Austin has known where Mavis has been, not able to tell his twin brother due to his loyalty to Mavis but he also has a secret which could destroy his family and his friendship with his brother.
Oh, how I loved this story, the twists and secrets added to the depth of the book. In my heart I was championing for Austin and hoping forbidden love would win through, but you will have to read to find out who Mavis chooses.
The story was well written and flowed beautiful through the past and present with all the characters involved. I loved the character of Mavis so strong but showing her vulnerability and heart break just made me love her even more. The ending just opens for the next but in this trilogy and I can’t wait to pick up the story within the next book in this series.
