I have been a fan of this author for quite some time now, and I still to this day fall in love with every single book they create and write. This one was no different. I was sucked in and held while I watched the story take flight and unravel on its own terms. The writing and story was amazing. Loved it!
I have always been a person who love s paranormal novels. This one was certainly one that took home the cake though. I was given darkness with action and the light of love. I was very connected to all the characters. I felt I was right there with them fighting the evils that they had to face, along with their decisions which at times did not come easy. Very gripping and compelling novel! I was truly intrigued! I cant wait to read more in the series! This is a series I will very much enjoy with all my heart and soul!
As always, this author has created a world and book of characters that are well, indescribable. I was hooked and in deep with this book! A must read for sure! Highly recommend this novel and author!

Intriguing and mysterious from the start, the story draws the reader in. It took a bit for me to become fully immersed in the story, but once you are in, there is no putting it down. The dreams in the start blur lines and makes you question what is real. Of course, the story got me once a romance was alluded to. I’m a sucker for romance. The characters were all well developed and relatable. The setting was immersive, and the plot twists just kept surprising me. Definitely an enjoyable read, and a series that I am looking forward to continuing.

This book is different from what I normally read, I usually just go for the paranormal but thought to switch it up a bit and I couldn’t be happier in doing so. This book was incredible. The story and conflicts and just everything in it kept me on my seat and wanting to read it more. This book really took on a classic and made it into a new way to look at the paranormal. The story flowed so well together that it never made me feel lost and had to turn back again. I really enjoyed the characters but especially Greer she is strong and could sense things and see things that no one else could. I really can’t wait to know if there will be more to this story and what more it could offer.

I loved this book, it was very suspenseful, and had a lot going on in good way. I found things added up nicely a i read, and I questioned literally everything! I was at the edge of my seat while reading!
This book was a well written mystery story, Suspense was amazing and also the action. They perfectly complimented each other through out the book. I found secrets were the main object of the story, I could not prepare myself for when something greater than the secrets I knew of came to light. Shock face was made with my facial expressions. That’s why I loved this book so much, it kept you guessing, and wondering what would occur next. Nothing was what it seemed! Amazing writing! Loved it!
Fantastic writing and for sure a very amazing author as well. This book is a must read. I read it all in almost one sitting. I could not put it down. Highly recommend this must read book! It’s amazing!

In this retelling of Prince Hyacinth and Apollo, lies a story of enemies-to-lovers romance. But Nicole could not stop there, she twisted this retelling into SO MUCH MORE. Finishing the book, as the reader, I am left with wanting more. Even though the beginning started off slow, it was so important to build this world. I have never read a retelling of a Greek mythology story like this. Each character was eloquently built, not just in the world itself, but their back stories, their emotions and their relationships. Each chapter unfolded a new leaf to each character’s story. Besides the slow build, due to building such a breathtaking world, there was not large gut wrenching moments until the last fifty pages, especially the last three chapters of the story. Thankfully, Nicole was able to keep your attention even during the slower moments. The romance was very slow burn, and not graphic, vague in a sense, but still showed the affection of each character. If you are looking for a romance with some description, but not very detailed or in depth, to the point of, “holy smokes that is smut”, this is the book for you! I cannot wait to read the next book in this series!

This is a fascinating paranormal story. Avery finds herself brutally attacked and has no idea what happened to her or who was responsible for it. Horrible, violent murders start to occur all around her and she starts to wonder if her attack is related. Luys doesn’t want to get involved but he can’t stand to watch her suffer in constant danger. He doesn’t want to reveal his past but he doesn’t see any other way to help her. They’re drawn to each other, each not sure if it’s safe to trust and they have to face so much danger together. This book is full of action, romance, suspense and the paranormal and it’s told from different viewpoints. I enjoyed that because it gives you additional insights into the story and each of the unique characters. This was an amazing story that you won’t want to miss and I absolutely cannot wait to read more from this author.

After going out for drinks with friends Avery is viciously attacked. Who could have done this? Someone she knows or a complete stranger? Who can she trust? Enter her hot, brooding neighbor Luys. He keeps to himselg mostly due to his personal preference, but also to keep people safe. Trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes. When he sees his attractive neighbor struggling to stay upright trying to make it to her vehicle he steps in to help. He only meant to drop her off at the hospital, but ends up staying to make sure everything was okay and take her back home. Why does Luys feel the need to try and protect Avery? Will their attraction turn into more? Will Avery get the closure she needs by seeing her attacker be put behind bars?
This story was a little different than the paranormal stories I’m used to, but I did enjoy it. Even though this is the second book in a series I didn’t feel lost starting with this one. I will most likely check out book one because I don’t want to feel like I missed out on something that may have been important or explained in this book.

This book drew me in from the start. When I jumped into this book I was a little unsure if I would be able to follow since I hadn’t read the first book in this series but I found that I had no trouble at all. I am now definitely going to go back and read book one since I enjoyed this one so much. I found this story to be original and intriguing. I read this book in one sitting because I was so enthralled in the story line. I needed to know where this story was going. This book has a lot of history while still remaining current. This author did a wonderful job writing a romantic, paranormal, dramatic read.

A Long Kiss Goodbye is a nice dark treat and probably one of the best books I have read this year. It gets all your senses kicked into high gear. The story is fast-paced, thrilling and I love the way HD has cleverly woven all the delicate threads contained in this twisty plot. It is intriguing and suspenseful, steamy and a page turner that you are unable to put down. With dark secrets and lies around every corner, assault and murder looming in the dark, evil lurking in the shadows, it’s a wonder anyone is safe. Intrigue, action packed drama, thrills and suspense are the name of the game.
This is the follow on from A Kiss Before Dying which I discovered after I had finished but I did not feel I was missing a thing. This is my first-time reading HD’s work and I enjoyed the writing so much that I am going to go and devour the rest of her work.
I am not giving anything away because this is one little gem you need to discover the intensity of the story all by yourself. This is one of two books that you don’t want to miss out on.

This is an enjoyable and exciting paranormal romance with plenty of suspense to keep any reader hooked. When Avery is brutally attacked, there is no motive, and no suspect. Then days later when a neighbour is found dead, the second mutilated body to be found, it’s presumed that a serial killer is on the loose in Scottsdale. When Avery learns that her attack was not random or normal, she does not know who to trust, she even sees her next door neighbour, Luys act of kindness as being sinister. Meanwhile, Luys has his own secrets and a past he wants to keep hidden. When Avery is attacked, Luys knows that a killer deadlier than any human is to blame, and that he needs to protect her. Luys knows that if he trusts Avery he will be exposing his dark history. With a killer, “filled with a seething need for vengeance”, on the loose the couple join forces to find the killer, knowing they might not survive. As their attraction grows they start to wonder if a relationship between them is doomed from the start. The characters were well defined and the chemistry between Avery and Luys really came across in the narrative. This had a fast paced storyline with plenty of plot twists and turns that kept me happily turning the pages.

This book I could not stop ready. The author wrote these characters very well, we can tell how they are feeling and vividly see what they are doing. This one reminds me of an adult fairytale. The Wish-Eater comes into town and Elodie jumps at the chance to make a wish. She longs to be a mom. She has an obstacle to get through to make her wish come true, she learns so values along the way. I highly recommend this book.
There was so much to consider and think about and fall in love with within these pages. The hardships of the outsider that doesn’t feel she deserves to belong anywhere, the doubts that arise from the presence of said outsider and really anyone that doesn’t fit into the mold that society has told all folks we need to in order to be ‘right.’ Ember, being the outsider, has had a rough go for the last while, and is just stopping into town to replenish her supplies through questionable methods. Luckily, unluckily for her, this village has fighters and those made to protect, which is exactly what Gavyn feels he needs to do upon first interaction with her. There’s something about loss that can allow you to connect with those that you may not have before. Intrigued? Read this novel!
This author has a fantastic way about her that brings the story right off the pages and into the readers dreams, be it at night or daydreams. There were so many characters, some may find it difficult to allow for us to be able to connect with them all, if not the majority, but she did so without question. I very much look forward to venturing further on this troublesome/fruitful journey with Ember, Gavyn, Jade, and all those from the compound. The only thing, for me, was I found that it was a little long winded at times, but that’s to be expected from the first installment of a series. Bravo to the character development, world building, and nail biting! Will be recommending this novel for sure.

This is a fascinating take on a fated mates romance. Angelina is living a completely normal life other than her steamy dreams about two men she’s never met. They have to fight demons along the way if they want to have a chance at true happiness. This was such a great book I just couldn’t set it down once I started reading. This book has everything a romance lover could want, heat, vampires, angels and demons with plenty of action. This is the first book in a new series. The fmc is a human who is swept up into a world of demons, vampires, and angels. She finds herself to be the mate of 2 vampire/angel hybrid brothers and fighting against demons. The story is entertaining and keeps the reader engaged. Occasionally the dialogue feels a little unnatural but only slightly and could be reader interpretation. All in all this is an interesting series!

Captivated is a fated mates romance tale. I really enjoy Toya’s unique and clever writings and the characters. This one is engaging and is probably my favourite to date. This is a great paranormal tale with magic and the supernatural, danger, drama, and so more. Toya makes her worlds and characters charming and delightful and makes you feel their emotions. It is a thrilling read. The emotions and chemistry and the erotica left you feeling loved and were hot, hot, hot!!
It is a captivating story where our MCs are twins who are created to help keep demons from destroying mankind. To be able to do this they were created as a mixture of both angel and vampire, hybrids. The know their perfect mate is out there but have yet to find her before she is taken forever.

The characters were not only enthralling, but they were sweet, romantic, mysterious and so much more. There were a few times that our authors words are so perfect they feel like they could pull you right into the story. So while this is the third istallment in the series it could be read as a stand alone so definitely pick this one up today.

This was a really good read! This story was sexy, steamy, and very well written. The plot was great, and the characters just came to life on the pages. While I also found this one predictable, it still grabbed me and kept me interested enough to keep reading. This book was short, which I enjoyed because it made it a quick read, and still packed full of enough interesting content without skipping on the details. This has been a great series and I have highly enjoyed reading them.

This was a decent read. It wasn’t my favorite I’ve ever read, but it wasn’t bad either. This is part of a series but can be read a standalone. I did like this book, but I guessed what would happen at the get go, so it kind of lost my attention while I was reading. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline however, and it was well written. It had great character development and because of the main female character, Josie, it was decently emotional as well. It was also a quick read, which I enjoyed. Overall I did enjoy it and will definitely look forward to more books from this author in the future.

Love this story. So beautiful. It has all the love and romance you could want, but add in history and wine to make this book truly unique. The story is set in Portugal, where a widowed mother is a winemaker in a time where women were not involved in such things. Julia is an awesome character who has her own mind and does things her own way. Griffin is only doing what he needs to do to get his family’s good name back. The growing attraction between them is not anything that either was looking for, but how will they handle it. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Blood & Ravens is the first book in The Casket Girls series. I love it so much. Greer is so strong and determined. She has a way about her that just seems to draw you in. Theron is not all that he seems at first look. He is acting out of character and he is not sure why. He is being pulled towards Greer. This world that the author has built is wonderful. New Orleans and all of its charm. A variety of characters that are well thought out and interesting. I definitely can’t wait for the next book in this series!

After a few too many hiccups, Ten decides he’s going to fix their problems by cage fighting. When he injured his opponent, things go a bit awry when payback is craved.
Jonathan Gage has been burned one too many times, and has given up on the idea of love when Juliet and Ten stumble their way into his path. Determined to help them, he invites them into his home and between them all they agree to explore the feelings growing between them all.
As luck would have it, Gage must give up the woman he’s found himself falling in love with, but Juliet must also figure out if what she really wants is her best friend or the fighter whose stolen her heart.
I stepped out of my comfort zone for this book and I definitely struggled with reading it. I think the storyline was well thought out and the plot has some really strong points. I found several errors throughout the book with words missing, out of place, and misspelled or incorrect which can be very distracting for a reader.
I enjoyed the characters and the development of them as individuals and as a unit. When I tend to look at romance, I tend to go for a duo, and reading this enforced that three or more in a relationship is definitely not for me.
The Fighter was definitely well thought out and planned, but another round of editing would have been good. Also, be sure to know what you’re getting into when picking a romance. I made the error of not realizing this was a MMF trope and may have gone a different route had I caught on to that.

Historical fiction is probably my absolute favorite genre outside of clean romance books and this book completely merged the two into an amazing story. The author does an amazing job at not just the basic facts of the time period but really digging into the motives behind why people did certain things during that time period.
It was wonderful to read just how fierce Julia was in the way she protected her home and her sons legacy in a time when women were not accepted in the “man’s” world. The passion she has is evident from the very first time we meet her.
Griffin was thrown into adult responsibility way too fast and he is determined to make sure his mother and sister are taken care of, even if that means he isn’t being true to himself. He has a strong sense of honor and duty especially when it comes to doing the right thing for his family but to see his outer shell crack and his true self emerge is a wonderful transition.

This is the first book in the series as well as the first book that I have read by this author, and I was not disappointed. I have not read a book like this one before and was in new territory as I was not expecting certain aspects that happened in the book. The storyline was one that had me on the edge of the bed as I was reading. There were lots of steamy scenes between the main characters that were expertly written. I cannot wait to read the next books in the series!

This author knows how to capture my attention and keep me completely hooked from start to finish. I’ve gotten to where I don’t even have to know what the book is about before reading it I just know the author is bringing a story I won’t forget. The characters in this book instantly made me jump into their world, they all played well off each other and I had the hardest time when the end was near but I simply couldn’t put it down. It’s well written storyline with characters you won’t soon forget. It’s definitely worth a one click in my opinion. Five big stars and highly recommended.

Definitely not what I was expecting but really good nonetheless! This is my first read by this author and I am definitely a huge fan. She is really great at conveying how the characters are feeling throughout the story, so much so I felt like I was right there along with them living their experiences.
As someone with medical issues that may prevent any future pregnancies of mine, I very much related with Elodie in her struggles that pushed her into looking for alternatives, making her pursue the services of the ‘Wish-Eater’ that has mysteriously shown up in her village. As the book continued, I was sucked in further and further, wondering if her desire to have children would come to be as the book made many twists and turns.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book. I loved the fantasy aspect of it and how the author managed to modernize it in a way they people would be able to relate to. Will definitely be reading more by them in the future!
The Traitor is the second book in this series and is full of SPICE!! the main character considers himself as traitor for things that happened in his past and hes just looking for some redemption! HOT HOT HOT! Great book and will be buying the hard copy for my own bookshelf!

I couldnt put this put down! I was totally invested until the very last page and was upset when it was over! Such a good book with amazing character development and romance and smut. totally recommend. i love this author!

This book was an excellent ending to this series. I absolutely love the way she writes and how her characters develop through out each book! Great love story and i cant wait to see what else she comes up with in the future!

This is the 3rd book in the series by India Kells. While it works just fine as a standalone, you can tell that there is more backstory between Gage and his friends. That doesn’t mean you can’t read this book by itself; however, if you want all the backstory, I would recommend that you read the first two books in the series. Gage is your typical bad boy with a tragic backstory who has the heart of an angel. Juliet and Ten are two down on their luck roommates who turn to the seedy underground of cage fighting to try and get by. Gage steps in to help Ten and all three end up in a bad situation, making enemies of a powerful boss in the fighting world. Gage offers to help Juliet and Ten by providing them a place to live and training Ten for the upcoming fight. As you can imagine, things get *spicy*. This is a MMF story and the sexy scenes are steamy. I love how the author incorporates each characters’ feelings into the scenes and the readers really get to see what the characters are thinking and their inner turmoil. I like Kells descriptive writing; however, I felt that some of the plot was forced, or at the very least, not fully developed. This could also be because I haven’t read the first two books. Overall, I really enjoyed my first book by India Kells.
