As the Grimm Wolves MC Enforcer, he needs to keep up the persona that has taken years to cultivate. Chains continues to try to fight to mesh his two worlds together, giving in to his ultimate dream—only to push it away when they get too close—hurting the ones who love him the most. He knows once the MC world discovers he is not what he appears, the only thing that has been a constant in his life for years will be in ruins and he’ll lose his brothers, the club, and end up truly alone.

Adding to his torment, an unexpected enemy decides to make a move when the Grimm Wolves MC least expects it. The end result devastates the club because Chains is snatched, and his brothers don’t have a clue who has him or why. It Just Comes NaturalIt Just Comes Natural by Brooke May
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Aa the third book in this series I would suggest starting with book 1, so you can get a feel for this pack, the characters and overall feel for the series.
I love this series so much! And I feel I have waited ages for this one and I was not disappointed at all!
These two were great to read about and I just felt so drawn to the both of them.
Has some surprises on your journey through this read and I cannot recommend this author enough!

5 stars!

Wonderful! This was an excellent fairytale style story, something I haven’t read before. If I were Cathal it would be hard to forgive my grandmother for the suffering growing up, but Cathal is an amazing human and could understand her reasons and still loved her and cherished her. I love Cathal and Eala as a couple, they are super sweet, kind, caring and just all around great people or magical creatures and deserve every bit of happiness, especially with how they have both lived thus far. Eala enslaved to the king for years and Cathal always getting punished in place of his evil brother. The way the story flowed so nicely and everything came together in the end, it truly read like a fairytale. I highly recommend for any romance and fairytale lover.

The Hunted (Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla) by S.B. Alexander – Review by Bobbi Wagner

The Hunted (Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla, #1)The Hunted by S.B. Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed this paranormal-military romance story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future. I enjoyed being pulled into the story by the creative characters. They kept the story engaging and entertaining to read. This is a well written story about a job that turns into more than just killing a bloodsucker. A vampire with green eyes that cannot be denied and on top of that he is hot. This is a story that is full of action, romance and twists and turns that will leave you turning pages fast. Where the characters are connectable and have great chemistry. I enjoyed watching their growth as well as the growth of the plot. I found this story to be fast paced and hard to put down. This is a great story that filled my afternoon with steamy situations and action that kept me coming back for more. I highly recommend this book.

Bottom of the Chains (Grimm Wolves MC Book 2) by D.M. Earl – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Bottom of the Chains (Grimm Wolves MC #2)Bottom of the Chains by D.M. Earl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an author that I have loved reading from the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books as I know what I am in for. They are well written stories where the author’s use of details brings the story to life and where characters pop. This story is no different. I loved reading this MC story. I was pulled into the story by the creative, engaging characters. I enjoyed their growth throughout the story which made it easy to read. They are connectable and had me coming back for more. They bring a lot to the story. This is a shorter, fast paced story that I read in one sitting. This is a story about how the MC took in a prospect but keeps letting them down. Now is faced with showing that he is worth their trouble and can be useful. You don’t want to miss what happens in this story, it is worth the pick up and a must read. This is the second book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous book as it is that great. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC Book 1) by D.M. Earl – Review by Lisa Helmick

Behemoth (Grimm Wolves MC #1)Behemoth by D.M. Earl
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked the flow of the story. It is very smooth and easy to follow along with. I did have a few different places I struggled. I almost feel incomplete. The storyline with the issues of Grace and Damien did not get closed. Then after half way the story turns to the club and all kinds of different possible future scenarios. Again nothing was completed…sounds like it will all continue in the next book. My personal opinion would be for the club business be mixed in with the romance.

Stitch had my heart breaking for him from the beginning. I really thought he would have issue with forming a relationship..not jump into calling her baby. Damien is a godsend! Little kids add so much and Damien is no different. Grace had her struggles but seems to overcome them easily and move forward.

Overall this is a good read. Since it rolls along and is smooth I will give it three stars and a half. Just don’t get too hung up on proper protocol in the MC or how one thing stopped and another started half way. Seems like two stories added together.

It Just Comes Natural (Powder River Pack Book 3) by Brooke May – Review by Kerry Carr

It Just Comes NaturalIt Just Comes Natural by Brooke May
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I really enjoy this authors books. I love the paranormal romance and how the story evolves. This the 3rd book in the Powder River series. Even though reading from.the beginning will enhance the story its not essential as this book can be read as a standalone. The author does an amazing job of making the paranormal feel normal and the growth of the characters through the books keeps the reader hooked.
In this book we follow the story of Brandon and Macy.

Brandon is part of the Powder River werewolf pack. He has his life mapped out and is happy with his choice to join the military. That is until the night before he is due to leave when he bumps into a woman who is his fated mate. Now torn between doing what he was going to do and being with this woman he just met he decides to leave but can never forget her. After he returns he decides it’s time to finally find and be with his fated mate.

Macy has a lot of expectations placed on her. She struggles to constantly be a good daughter and do the right thing. So when her friend drags her away for one night of madness she gives in and goes wild. This one moment of madness ends up with her losing everything.
However Macy is a strong determined woman and through all the ups and downs she gets through it all but she feels like something is missing. Could it be something to do with Brandon? Is she feeling the pull towards him as he is to her?

This story is definately a rollercoast of a ride that keeps the reader gripped. This book is full of drama, love both lost and found and shifters falling in love. What more could you want for a fantastic romance with surprises along the way.

I loved how this novel was set up. With the radio station and the recipes after Every few chapters. This book screamed hallmark movie and I am here for it. I hope it does become a movie. It’s so cute. Graham’s determination to open his bakery despite the backlash from his (ex)girlfriend and the uncertainty of the reception he’d receive in his childhood town, is special. I thought the premise of his bakery was cute too. Cookies and matches. This is actually the first book I’ve read of the Cupid’s cove series and now I’m gonna read them all. I love lighthearted, feel good romance novels.

Short and sweet are the words I would use to describe this book! It was light and definitely what I wanted to take my mind off the heavy. The main characters in the book are called Graham and Lara. They are great main characters and I liked watching their story unfold and all the messes they got into in their bakeries. Sparks flew between the two and so did the flour! I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future!!
Happy Reading!

Graham is ready for a change of pace. He decides to move and open a bakery. Where better could he use the gimmick of a dating app partnered with his bakery than a town named Cupid’s Cove. When Lara finds out about the family bakery’s new competition she does not understand how her father, the mayor, allowed this to happen. When Lara finds herself at Graham’s bakery unwanted sparks fly. Will only one bakery survive? Can they learn to co-exist? Will Lara and Graham act on their feelings?

I thoroughly enjoyed this novella. It was well written, had dynamic characters, and the scene was well set. It really was a quick light hearted read. While this was the first time I had read King, I will definitely be reading her previous books while waiting for the next in this series. My Valentine’s Day Cookie Match was worth the read.

Francis “Stitch” is making is own family and not just in his firefighting life, but through an MC. Grace is a fighter who is doing the best for her child, Damian. Can Damien help heal both sides of Stitch, that he has been fighting against for so long? I had so many questions at the end of the story, and am looking forward to reading the next book.

Until There Was You by G. Colgrove – Review by Michelle Austin

Until there was youUntil there was you by G. Colgrove
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great 5 star read. I made the mistake of starting it during my lunch hour and I couldn’t wait to get back to it. The author does a great job with her writing.

Regan is a southie, she has just graduated high school and her home life isn’t the greatest. Her boss at the diner is the only person that has really been there for her the last few years. While working at the diner some suits come in for lunch, this is where she meets Jeremy for the first time. As a server, I know the feeling that she had when they left her the lousy tip and loved it when he overheard her comment.

There is something about Regan that pulls Jeremy in. He finally convinces her to go on a date with him and with a twist of fate they end up starting their date a little earlier than expected.
Things move forward fairly quickly for these two. Regan isn’t ready to open up to Jeremy about her family, what will happen when he learns the truth? How will Jeremy’s family feel about Regan and where she comes from?

Overall this was a great read. I loved Regan and how sassy she could be, she was great for Jeremy. I also fell for Jeremy right along with Regan, I loved his honesty and how sweet he was with Regan. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story as well. If you’re looking for a great romance than 1-click and get started today on this one, you will be pulled right in. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This was a cute romantic quick read. This story takes place in a small town called Cupids Cove. This story had me laughing and enjoying all the sweet moments. There are some great characters in this book. The chemistry between the two main characters was jumping off the page. I have read other books by this author and I am never disappointed. Graham has just left his corporate job to start his new business in this small town. Lara finds out there is competition with her family bakery and she is unhappy about the situation. What will come of their attraction? Can they get past the fact that they are in competition? Did I mention that Lara is the Mayor’s daughter. There was some great banter between characters in this book. This is a good read and it’s my suggestion that you don’t miss out.

(UN)Loved (Mixed Emotions Series) by Katy Hunter – Review by Beverly Finnie

(Un)Loved (Mixed Emotions, #1)(Un)Loved by Katy Hunter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I liked it but I was confused at the beginning, to the point I almost started over. Instead I kept reading (Un)loved. About two people who love each other but are so broken they can’t be together.
It’s sad and happy all at the same time. The author makes you feel for the two main characters.
Sophie and Gil are actors just finishing up a movie they filmed together. A film that made them both of them broke the number #1 rule. “Don’t fall in love with your co-star.” The love they have for one another is fierce, but both characters are emotionally broken which leads to a toxic relationship.
It’s all about navigating how they feel for one another while trying to figure out who they are as individuals.
Do they end up together?
What choices about life does each character make?
These are just some questions that come to mind while reading this book. Of course if you’re like me, you will be rooting for them, unfortunately their situation doesn’t make a relationship easy, if successful at all.
If you like getting involved with the character’s feeling like you’re in the story with them, I suggest you give this book a shot. Since that’s exactly how it makes one feel.

This is the first book that I have read by this author. This author had me intrigued with the story line especially when it’s a MC and paranormal because these are my favorite reads. I loved the characters they showed real emotions.

Francis M. Stein, aka Stitch he is alone, isolated, and living a solitary life, seeing no changes in his immediate future. He is simply existing even though he has his extended family in his brothers in both his firehouse and MC. With his ability to absorb other’s thoughts and emotions, it makes everything complicated.

When Francis meets a young boy named Damien his life changes drastically and he has new hope. Then you throw in a new woman Grace Sinclair and he sees himself with his own family.
Will Francis, Grace, and Damien be able to overcome their problems? Can they have a happily ever after or will fate once again cause chaos for them?
You need to read this awesome book and find out about these amazing people.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, lighthearted romantic comedy, which kept me happily turning the pages. Set in the old town of Cupid’s Cove, where “Love is Everything”, the author really made the setting come alive, making me feel immersed in the story. The storyline focuses on the town’s mayors daughter Lara and new comer Graham. Graham is a marketing specialist who’s opening his own bakery alongside his newly developed dating app, which matches couples through their taste buds. However, Lara works for the competition, her mother’s bakery. Can the couple put their differences aside and take the ‘cookie match challenge’, and maybe find true love together. I loved the main characters, Graham and Lara were likeable and relatable, and their chemistry came across strongly in the narrative. I was cheering them on hoping they would get their HEA, this is an enjoyable and engaging heartwarming read.

Return of the Elf Lord (Kingdom of the Elf Lords Book 1) by Heidi Vanlandingham – Review by Darla Yocom

Return of the Elf LordReturn of the Elf Lord by Heidi Vanlandingham
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I could not put this book down!

I am new to the author and her books but I think I’ll be reading more after engulfing this book. Initially, I was intrigued by the beautiful graphics on the cover and hoped the story would be just as intriguing. I was happy to learn that my instincts were right!

This book is a fantastic fictional fantasy story that will make for an incredible series with plenty of room to continue building/expanding the plot and the characters.

Throughout the book, I found myself mesmerized by the exquisite attention to details. I am always on the lookout for authors who have the gift of creating incredible imagery within their stories, and this author did not disappoint. I was hooked by the cover and upon reading from page one.

I thought the book was an easy read and flowed very well.

Can I say again that I did not want to put this book down?

I enjoyed the chemistry amongst the different characters and often felt as if I was rooting for some and hating on others. To evoke that type of reaction in a reader isn’t easy and honestly kept me enthralled from the get go. This book definitely grabbed my attention and never let go.

When the main character, Bernard (Marchand) alters the timeline, I thought of the many stories or movies I have seen in the past regarding timelines, changing history, etc. I immediately thought of the ripple effect and thought, “uh oh.” While I completely understand how someone who has lost people they love would want to go back and change things, the result of such things always seems to have that darn ripple effect and will not always be a positive result. So once the characters attempt to rectify the timeline issue I knew we were in for a bit of drama, suspense, and action.

Also, while I’m not a fan of romance storylines since they tend to overshadow or take away from the main story, I did not mind the romance piece in this book. It was well written and implemented into the story. It works well!

I think any fantasy fan will thoroughly enjoy this book, but the mix of norse mythology and a bit of world history will also satisfy readers of other genres as well.

Overall, this book was incredible and by far one of my favorite reads to date. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars!

(UN)Loved (Mixed Emotions Series) by Katy Hunter – Review by Lyndsey Fairley

(Un)Loved (Mixed Emotions, #1)(Un)Loved by Katy Hunter
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is my first read by this author and it will not be my last. If the rest of the series is anything like this one, I will enjoy reading them all.
I really loved this authors writing style. It had me engaged and i could just picture each and every scene in my head as I was reading. And the characters in this, i loved them and the story was so realistic and not blown out of proportion, I could see this happening for anyone.

Great read and look forward to the rest of the series.
