I was totally invested in this story as soon as I learned of it. The series has intrigued me from the very beginning and this was a really anticipated read. I was stunningly captivated form word one. Enthralling were the characters and addictive was their love journey. The plot was angsty and keeps a reader on the knife’s edge, madly trying to predict what is going to happen next. The unveiling of this story was electric and supremely engaging. It’s a story that will keep you besotted and coming back for more. There were many intense and dramatic moments and the story could have swung in any direction. The author possesses an incredible knack for the unexpected and constantly astounds and blows a readers mind. Witty, sensual, flawed and magical. A comprehensive masterpiece. 5 stars.

Imperfectly Yours is the second book in the Titans Of Manhattan series and holy cow what a ride. This is a Romance story about Love, Loss, and struggling with heartache and secrets. Just because one acts ok doesn’t mean there’s not a storm brewing below. I absolutely loved this book. The characters are relatable and fully developed and easy to follow. I loved there personalities. I devoured this book in one sitting and whew what a ride. My emotions were all over the place with this one, from being happy to sad to angry. These two are off the charts and the love they have for one another is heart warming. There may some triggers in this book but keep reading I promise its worth it. This is Anton and Elsa’s story. He’s one of Hollywood’s top heart throbs who has everything he’s ever wanted and he’s with the love of his life who happens to be one of the top real-estate agents in the city. These two will melt your hearts that’s for sure. They both want the same things, love ,family and to be successful. They are both on top of the world with love and happiness but what will happen when tragedy strikes? Will his love be enough? I don’t want to give anything away but I highly recommend reading this heartwarming and a little heartache story to find out what happens next . This series each book follows a different Titan. I loved the first book just as much as this one and if you haven’t started this series I recommend starting it now. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. I need it like now.

5 out of 5 Stars
Wrecked! Emotionally Wrecked. There might have been actual, flowing down the cheek tears for this one.
Elsa Ftizgerald, Queen of New York real estate, is dating one of the hottest Hollywood heartthrobs, Anton Kingston. Elsa thinks her life is perfect when Anton pops the question. Elsa plans her dream beach wedding. Life is grand until it isn’t. Elsa turns to drugs and alcohol to fill the emptiness.
Anton Kingston knows that he found the one when he finds Elsa. There are so many qualities about her that make Elsa different, the biggest is that she is not phased by his celebrity. After getting married and planning a life with Elsa, Anton’s past haunts him. Soon he realizes that chasing the perfection he craves might just cause him to lose the one thing he can’t live without, Elsa. Can Anton change the course of his life without repeating history?
The author describes the hard-hitting issues in the story with respect and delicacy. When Elsa tells her story, the feels are all too real. On a side note, I want to punch her mother. I haven’t like a book that I have read by this author and this one did not disappoint. I am looking forward to another Titan love story soon!!

Another great addition to this series. I loved the fact that it seamlessly brought past events and intertwined them to current time. In this book, we follow Slick and Ella, who both thought they lost each other and only to reunite. This book does not disappoint with it’s strong emotions and heartfelt worry. Once again, the Satan’s Devils prove that they are a different club and with their heroic actions make us fall in love with them. I loved how in this book, there was a strong emphasis on consent. The way Slick treated Ella is how every man should treat a woman. Another great book.

One of my favorite genres is romantic comedy, toss in a little paranormal spice and you have everything you could want to keep you reading. Set in my #1 wish to visit cities, New Orleans.. Katrina is a fasting succubus, barely managing to contain her devilish sexy self, this ragged control is put to the test when she meets Gabe, a broken hearted incubus, and together they set the pages on fire. With great character development, some well described New Orleans locales, the author keeps the pages turning as our paranormal paramours find their way through the twists and turns of their adventure.

I came into this book knowing that it was apart of a series, and I felt like I didn’t really miss anything. It makes a good standalone book, but I think I’m going to back and read the rest jus to see what lead up to the things that happen in this book. It was a nice fast paced story and well written characters. The author seems to have extensive knowledge about the music world and that made me happy. She brings you into this world and at first cradles you along and next thing you know the floor drops out from beneath you and you have no idea whats coming next. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and this author and am excited to see what she does next!

This is a fast paced, Action packed story that has a really strong character right at its centre. She is the kind of character you can’t help but like. The book is full of twist and turns which makes it quite exciting to read. A few times I wished the book were just a bit longer so the detail could be filled out a bit more in places however I still found the book to be really enjoyable. It was a quick read and a great way to pass an afternoon.

This book took me by surprise. In my experience, paranormal romance normally struggles to keep the element of realism and relatability, but the author was able to find the balance between the two and keep true to the story. I love the chemistry between Miles and Bella, their relationship has its bumps along the way that keep them, and us, guessing. We also meet some new faces, one of which causes big trouble both professionally and personally for them. The author’s writing style compliments the story, it’s fast-paced and edgy, it keeps you wanting more. Sometimes I felt as though the story moved a little quicker than I did and it was difficult to keep up. This didn’t detract from my enjoyment though, and I would definitely recommend this, especially if you have read the previous books in the series.

4-stars
This is one of those stories that I have a love/hate relationship with, I had a hard time connecting with Caspian just due to his overall personality but I really liked Paisley’s character and eventually, over time Caspian won me over.
I love how this author painted such a clear picture with all of the details written throughout the storyline, it made it easy to picture everything all out in my mind. This storyline is steamy, fast, unexpected, intense and a little bit emotional, so really well rounded, just as I had hoped it would be.
I am really looking forward to reading more from this author and of this series asap!

If I could I would totally insert the crying emoji first for this audiobook! What a way to start the third book in this series! Talk about emotional!! Slick is one of those characters that when you start listening about him you really question him and his personality but he’s been hurt and I can kind of understand him but it really didn’t take long for me to fall in love with him just as I have with the other brothers in this MC. Once he realised what had happened to Ella that MC protectiveness took over! As well as the amazing writing from this author the narrator really managed to bring this story to life and certainly added to the emotional parts of it even more!
A fantastic 5-star audio book that I highly recommend you listen to!

This was a really good read! Fast paced and definitely a page turner! I have read books by this author previously so knew her writing was engaging and she definitely had my attention with this one! Lydia was a fun character to read about and I felt like I was with her at times as she battled to save her boyfriend. The authors imaginative writing really came through in this story and the humour that was interjected made the story better to read. This is only a short read and to be honest I would have happily had read a longer version of it. Overall, a great read and one that I would recommend to others!

The second book in The Titan of Manhattan series. Begins with what seems to be the perfect life of Anton and Elsa, takes a twist when several major life changing events happen for them. I really enjoyed following the way they handled real life events in such a relatable way in order to make their long distance marriage and all the other tribulations within their marriage work. After so many issues and trials, the ending was the outcome I had hoped for and they deserved. This book is a great stand alone or a great stepping stone in the world Titans of Manhattan.

I’ve been looking forward to reading the latest instalment of this series and the author did not disappoint at all. The story was as well written and exciting as the previous two and I loved being transported back in time with the characters. The authors descriptive writing hasn’t wavered over the three books, I continue to be able to imagine exactly what I am reading at time. In this third book we see Maggie and Will preparing for their special day but with time travel involved its clear things aren’t going to go to plan! I really feel like I know these characters so well now and I love the twists and turns in their story. This really was a fabulous read and I am definitely looking forward to more from this author!

Not the triangle romance I was expecting, I went through the book wanting to slap every single man including Lydia’s boyfriend Cam. After Cam gets kidnapped, it’s Lydia that has to come to the rescue. Trekking through the jungle and searching for a hidden ring, I’m not sure what’s more dangerous: the perils of the jungle or the men in the jungle. She is a strong woman, and despite a few errors in judgment, she’s a woman men want and women want to be. An interesting plot keeps the pages turning and an incident with a snake will be keeping me out of any and all jungles.

Wow! Just wow! This book has it all, I freaking love this series with all my heart! I loved the prior in the series, and this one kept me hooked just as the previous! The author is amazing at the story they create and the characters that come to life! This book and series is a must read, no doubt about it!
This one was convincing and a book full of heart throb moments as well as the tender heart ache ones as well. The characters really made the story take flight. Anton was a person who had his own passions and wants, but still had his image to up hold. He had his presentation of self to worry about, but under that smile and wave, he was truly human with human dreams and desires of his own heart. Elsie was successful and seemed to have it all in different ways. Yet, she was human as well. Is wanting a family and to be successful something truly out of reach? I loved how when these characters collided they shared a passion that left off my kindle pages and you really felt everything that they endured together!
What I loved aside from the realism of the main two characters, was the aspects of the realism of the world outside them. They both had their career given goals, but inner wants that resided did not clash well outside in the real world. I found the struggles and tender moments they faced really showed all they had and all they could lose if they allowed the world to intervene in their relationship. The story was beautifully written, and really played tug of war with my emotions, and had me all over the place haha. That said, it made the book what it was! Amazing read and this author is just as amazing as their books!
This book series, as well as this current installment are not ones to be passed up by far. The author is a fantastic writer. I love this series so much with all the emotions and the feelings I get when I read them! Do not pass this book up, it is a wonderful read. Highly recommend the author as well! A must read!

This is book 2 in the Titans of Manhatten. This story is a real emotional rollercoaster. It deals with some difficult subject such as miscarriage and depression. What I love is the way the author gives both side of the story so we can see how both parties react to their problems. The main characters of Anton and Elsa are really well written and their love story at the beginning is perfect. Both of them are strong independent people with jobs they love. All either of them want is to get married and have a family.
Their dream seems to be coming true until tragedy strikes. This results in Elsa closing off and pushing Anton away. Now alone and feeling thar Anton doesn’t care she falls into a pit of drink and drugs to cope with her pain.
Anton loves Elsa more than life itself. While he’s dealing with his own grief he sees Elsa on a downward spiral and wants to help her. But will she accept his help? Will their love be strong enough to survive when they realise that their love isn’t perfect? Can they be happy with an imperfect love?

Anton and Elsa have the perfect life, or so it seems. When Elsa’s world is rocked by loss, she tries to rely on familial and social expectations to process and deal with the trauma. Anton, being an actor, has complete trust that she will be all right while he is gone filming. But when she isn’t, past wounds creep in for him. Can they both come together to find a healing path forward before it’s too late?
While the characters lifestyles are hard to identify with, their trauma and emotional struggles are not. The author presented both Anton and Elsa as happy people who get thrown a curve ball and have to deal with the fall out of it. However, society and family play huge roles in how they both respond to that trauma. I think that is true for anyone today. The loss and emotions wrapped up in it are conveyed realistically and broken heartedly. You FEEL Elsa’s emotions and Anton’s helplessness. I appreciated that they both stayed committed to each other as they found their way back to each other.

This is the fifth book in the Moore Family Saga, but the first one I have read. It can be read as a standalone book, but I think I want to go back and see how things started. This is Miles and Bella’s story. They have twin babies and work together to make his dream of a record company successful. One of their artists, Pharoah, tries to come between them. I liked how the tension grew from Pharoah’s antics, but in the end, it was about them being a team. This book had great flow and kept me engrossed till the end. This was a book filled with a little paranormal activity, conflict, defiance, and how love can overcome. I will be putting this author on my TBR.

This was a fast paced good 4 star read and the 5th book in the series. Once you start reading you are pulled right in by the author’s writing.
Miles and Bella are really put to the test. The music industry challenges them at every turn. You get a glimpse at just how stressful it can be. And with Pharaoh creating his own drama and he also has a thing for Bella, which adds more challenges.
Will Bella and Miles get through everything in one piece?
Overall I really enjoyed this book, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was coming next. The characters were great, very strong. We get mystery, romance, drama and so much more. The book can be read as a stand alone but it will help you with the characters and their stories if you start with book one. It was fun getting a glimpse inside the music industry and what can happen. I look forward to reading more from this author. 1- click and get started today.

Imperfectly Yours is the second book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm. After reading the first book in this fantastic series, and loving every word, I was really excited to get my hands on this second instalment. I had really high expectations after book one, so I am happy to say that this was every bit as good as I hoped for, if not better (even though the author did have me more than a little worried there for a while). We met Anton and Elsa in Book One, Conveniently Yours, as Anton is one of Caspian’s best friends. So, I was already intrigued by these two characters before I had even opened the book. Anton and Elsa have the fairytale romance, and life is good- but are the foundations of their relationship strong enough to withstand the cracks that start to appear and threaten to crumble their perfect fairytale. Well, no spoilers hers, but I certainly couldn’t put the book down until I had read every single word and found out how it all played out in the end. Looking forward to the rest o the series! Happy reading!

Anton and Else have such a beautiful relationship that really shows the meaning of true love. It starts out as a fairytale romance with a picture perfect wedding. But when Anton has to return to his rigorous filming schedule, the stress starts to mount and their marriage begins to suffer. They face a tragedy early on that is absolutely devastating and find themselves drifting apart instead of growing closer and leaning on each other. Things continue to spiral out of control as they struggle to find their way back to each other. They face so many stumbling blocks along the way but the ending is everything that I could have hoped for. This is one that you definitely won’t want to miss.

I have not read one book from this author that I have not thoroughly enjoyed. This contemporary romance is told from several POV’s which I love, because you get a deeper connection and understanding for who the characters are. It makes it easy to become invested in them and their stories. With a little steam, and sexy the story entices you to participate in the good and the bad. But heartache and heartbreak hits when they least expect it, and their happiness is about to be tested. It is a complete ride of rollercoaster ride of emotions. There were times when I didn’t know if I wanted to smack them especially Anton or wrap them up and take them away. Reviewed by @jennadb

While this is the third installment to this series, I honestly have to say that it is by far the most emotional. The feelings between our main characters and thr drama go so deep that it was really a powerful read until the very last page. There was just so much realism in this installment that you find yourself right along side Will and Maggie, and enduring all the pain, agony, and more they they endure. While the flow was beautiful it really was full of twists and turns and you never knew from one page to the next what would happen next. So definitely go pick up this trilogy and binge read it immediately.

While this is the second book in this series I personally think it’s even better then the first. This second installment is full of so much romance, drama, adventure, betrayal, tragedy and so much more that our author really pulls us so much deeper this time. After reading the first installment in this series I couldn’t wait to read this one. I really do recommend readying all of these in order just to get all of the details on our main characters. While I really thought that Will and Maggie would get a break in this book, there was just as much danger and drama in this book and they were really put through the ringer. So if your looking for a historical romance to read this weekend, pick up this series today.

As Lydia is confronted by a masked man who passes this terrifying message onto her, all she can think about is whether he is safe and demands to speak with him before she does anything else, this is when she finds out that Cam has asked Sullivan, an old friend and ex-lover of Lydia’s to help her, she is initially extremely reluctant, but when it is the only condition Cam has, she agrees to it in the end, she will do anything to get him back.
She packs up her things and heads to Casanu as quickly as she can where she meets with Sullivan and despite everything he agrees to help her trek through the jungle and find Theodore’s Ring with her, but her initial misgivings are proven right when he reveals that he has never stopped loving her and intents to use this trip to win her back and so she has to put him straight with a few things, including that what he wants is never going to happen. Meanwhile, they start their journey through humid conditions and closely packed trees and vegetation to retrieve the legendary artefact which it turns out is worth millions of dollars and the reason she is on this mission in the first place.
As the trek goes on, Lydia and Sullivan run into more trouble than they bargained for when three strangers, one of whom rescues her from a close encounter with a King Cobra and between that, battling through the harsh terrain and batting away the unwanted attentions of Sullivan, Lydia begins to realise that she has maybe bitten off more than she can chew with this decision. Will Lydia and Sullivan be able to stay out of trouble long enough to retrieve the ring and rescue Cam, or will they have to dodge more than one bullet to maintain their safety? This is a fantasy adventure full of treasure hunting and danger in a beautiful setting where this fast paced race against time pulls you along with them on this crazy adventure.
