I like how the author keeps the same style of writing, very detailed where the reader can actually see the scene playing in their head like a movie. The characters are very relatable with what they are going through within the story. The main characters Caitlin and Gio are very compatible, however it does take Caitlin a little bit to get used to having another person by her side. It is a very good read and it is a good idea to read the previous books in the series to get the full background of what happened before.

Oliver wants to violate her, but Kingston warns him that nobody can touch her. Ava fights by using a paperweight to cut his face. While struggling to get away, there was a loud pop that caused her to scream. Dr.Abbott has to treat Ava while he keeps her in a cell. He didn’t like the situation, but he was loyal to Kingston. Ava wakes up from being sedated by the doctor. She hasn’t been given food yet, and she doesn’t know how long she has slept. Kingston brings her food and wants her to clean up. When Ava doesn’t respond and doesn’t try to eat, Kingston forces her into the tub and washes her. Humiliated at her situation, she relents by eating. Ava attempts to escape again when Dr. Abbott comes to check her sprained wrist. Kingston, who caught her in the woods, decides he is going to have to punish Ava for her repeated acts of defiance.
This is a slow-burn romance, with April Moran building suspense. There is a subplot that runs where there is resentment from Kingston towards Oliver, as well as Oliver’s hatred towards Kingston. Dr. Abbott doesn’t like the treatment of Ava, but whatever darker dealings the Winter family is involved in prevents him from helping Ava escape her captivity. The cliffhanger ending has me eager to read the sequel, and I wonder if Carson will make an attempt to steal Ava back. However, I don’t know if Carson is really a better option for Ava since he has little regard for her beyond her inheritance money. With a cliffhanger ending, I am eager to read a sequel to this fast-paced story.

This story is easy to follow despite being the third in the series. I love Christmas time and Christmas stories. To find an Amish story is new for me but I loved it. You’ll follow the culture and drama. A great short story to read anytime.
Ruby is hiding out in a remote cabin, far from her dangerous ex. When a stranger winds up outside, on a horse and half dead, Ruby takes him in to help. She didn’t expect to fall for him so quickly, but he can’t know about her past.
Hayden wasn’t looking to fall for the woman that has nursed him back from death. Just when he thinks they’ve gone their separate ways, Ruby calls him and begs for his help. This is a book that kept me hooked until the end. Great story and characters!

I knew right from the start when so many sparks started flying between Jamaica and Callahan that this was going to be a really captivating read and I was so right! I was completely hooked by these wonderful characters. Jamaica is a very serious student so when she is partnered with Callahan who she believes is the typical Jock stereotype and nothing more, she is worried about her course but he soon sets her straight. I am a huge fan of this Amazing author and her ability to bring us such creative storylines and relatable characters. I can’t wait for more!!!

Wicked Ends is the 8th book in the Hidden Valley Elite series by Isla Vaughn, it is also the final book in Shane’s story and finishes up the duets of the 4 main characters in the series. I have absolutely loved this series, I have (not so) patiently waiting for each book to come out and waiting on this one was a doozy! I needed to know how that cliffhanger was going to be resolved. This book finishes off Shane and Winters story, the pair have a lot of trust to rebuild after Winters actions in the past and Shanes lies when they first reconnected and they don’t have it easy with interfering family members, crazy stalkers, and the mystery of Winter’s sisters’ death. I was sad for this series to finish but I have really enjoyed every one of these books.

This is the first book in the Game Time Series. As with all the other books I have read by this author I was instantly captivated and loved this book. It is a sports romance based around a guy who is a big shot on the field (and off it) and a young woman who is strong, independent, sassy and hasn’t got time for games or players.
The author’s attention to all details such as the ins and outs of a athlete and what their life actually looks like really makes this story realistic. As well as that the characters are so well developed that they seem real and I could definately see them in some of my close friends.
This is a sports romance with some humour, angst, and a lot of steam with a connection that Jamaica Winslow tries to deny and ignore at every turn. However Callahan is used to winning and he won’t stop until he gets what he wants and that’s Jamaica.
You will be completely captivated by their story and the way it is told from both of the main characters view points really makes you feel like you are getting the complete stories as they battle between what their hearts and their head. Which will win out? Will Callahan be able to show Jamaica that not all Jocks are the same? And if Jamaica let’s him in will it always be hearts and roses? You need to read to find out.

Dark moon secrets is the first book in the Witch Moon series by Lillian Rose. It is slow to start with a lot of character building once you get past this it is a rather intricate and intriguing story about Tanjie.
She was born into a life that destiny had predetermined and she never knew about until it was too late to seek advice from her loved ones. Mystery surrounds the book store which is a human front for the world that she belongs to. Witches and shapeshifters, secrets, sexual innuendo, forbidden attractions, tension and mysteries this book has it all.
I loved the fact that this book is set in Australia and as an Australian the areas were familiar to me.

It is a gripping dark romance that not only captured our fmc- but definitely captured my attention right from the very first page. When the King is owed money- the debt will be paid, one way or another. Unfortunately for Ava, her brother owes King, big time. And when he doesn’t pay up – she is held accountable. Family is important to each, so they have to be careful to not hurt anyone else in the process. This is book 3 in the series, but is easily read as a standalone. It is a shorter book that is just enough for a sweet feel-good romance.
This is such a fun holiday read. I enjoyed each and every second of it. I loved that the main character is in Australia because it definitely challenged for me what a holiday read consists of. I’m used to snowy backdrops to my holiday story. In this book we trade this for surf and sand. Lizzy and Jaz are wonderful characters and their chance meeting is truly enchanting. It definitely looks at the question of can a vacation fling last? These characters are so enchanting and really feel like your friends. I loved this fast romance and I definitely recommend picking this book up!

D.M. Earl knows how to weave a fantastic story. This is the seventh book in the Grimm Wolves MC series. Although it is part of the series it definitely functions as a standalone and I definitely recommend picking up this or another one of this series to introduce yourself to the MC. D.M. Earl creates a fantastic fast paced book that sucks you in from the very first sentence until the end. And to me they always leave wanting more and wanting more of a follow up of what happens to the Main Character and this story is no different. Frank (Dingo) is amazing he is definitely a protector. Celee is the type of character the D.M. Earl always creates a female with a plan who is not a damsel in distress. She is in distress but she is not a damsel and she has her own plan. She meets Dingo online and he is willing to forgo everything he loves to protect her. But in following his heart with Celee he is risking dager to the Grimm Wolves who have become his family. However, his family will not turn their back on him or Celee. This story shows the healing power of love as well as what family really means. I cannot express how much I love this story. Once again, D.M. Earl delivers on a fantastic book that I am so glad that I have read. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone as well as anxiously await the next book about one of the Grimm Wolves.

This book is extremely dark and with a lot of very triggering subjects. I enjoyed this book but was a little frustrated with Kingston and Ava’s relationship multiple times. King is someone who had a rough life and took the wrong path in life and Ava is the typical good girl that also had a difficult life after the dead of her parents. This is definitely a book for those who love very dark SMUT. I can’t wait to read the next book. Please make sure to read trigger warnings.

Tanjie befriends an older woman in her apartment building and becomes close. When the woman died, she left strict instructions and a bookshop to Tanjie in her will. Tanjie has no intention of running this bookshop in the middle of nowhere but the rules state she must run the shop for a year before she is to make any decisions about the shop.
Tanjie makes her way to the town with hopes of staying 2 weeks max but destiny has another plan. Almost instantly an accident happens rendering her car and only escape useless for the time being. It seems as if someone or something is making her stay in this strange town. She meets Luna who is the current caretaker of the shop and finds out that Tanjie is actually an untrained witch who was prophesied to make a difference in the coven.
Alaric is the son of the Alpha of the Dark Moon pack, he is mysterious and sexy but also a bit of a wildcard within the pack. He always has to prove himself to his father but it’s never enough. When Al meets Tanjie he can’t help but instantly be attracted to her. A wolf shifter and a witch? Forbidden! He can’t seem to get her out of his mind and keeps finding ways to go back to her. If they are caught, it could ruin both of their futures within their respective groups.
I read another series from this author and really enjoyed it so when I saw this book, I knew I had to read it! This author does a really good job writing paranormal romances. They write each character in such detail that you can immerse yourself and become one with the character. The author also does a fantastic job describing the world so you get a feel of what life is like. With some steamy romance, detailed enough for intrigue but vague enough to not be crude, you are in for a treat.

It brings reality into what could happen to good people when in entitled idiots think that they can mess with their lives and get away with it.

Excellent excellent book. Forbidden / enemy to lover is absolutely exceptional in this book. This is not one of my favorite books. I honestly put it down and picked it back up and intervals muscling my way through it. Trigger warning * Normally the age gap doesn’t bother me but when the characters are portrayed childlike and the other an adult it was hard to get past. I know culturally these things can be acceptable but it was hard to get through.
It didn’t flow as easily for me as other books have. A grumpy / sunshine styled love that showcases both strengths and weaknesses of characters great. Struggling through their pain Naseen and Jade unite and triumph over the unfairness of life and build a flourishing bond that is very sweet to see.

I’m not really a romance reader but I love a good dark romance where the MMC is a dark, broody, villain type guy who ultimately has a heart of gold where his woman is concerned, and Kingston definitely fits the bill. Ava just so happens to be caught in the middle of a war between tall, dark, and cruel Kingston, and her brother Carson. Kingston absolutely takes advantage of the situation and he uses Ava to his advantage when he kidnaps her. A King So Savage is really fast moving, edge of your seat, thrilling read that delivers an exciting read but definitely comes with a few trigger warnings and I don’t know that Kingston actually becomes likable. I’d be interested in picking up book two to find out if he does. It also ends with a cliffhanger.

The 3rd book in the Amish Courtship series and my first read by this author. Love the “Secret Admirer” letters and then the way they truly end up falling. Such a great way to find what your heart really wants. I look forward to reading more by Ms. Spredemann.
On her own since her parents died. At least Tanji is fortunate enough to have her best friends Mia and Caleb. When Tanji’s neighbor Maria dies and leaves her a bookstore. Tanji life is uprooted and changing. I really liked this book. It ended before I was ready.

I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard as I did reading this book. The chemistry between Jamacia and Callahan was amazing. Jamacia really doesn’t take Callahan’s crap for nothing, and she dishes it right back. The sass force is strong with this one. Although Callahan is like that slippery snake, he gets under Jamacia’s skin without her even noticing. She tries so hard to keep him at arms length, but he just keeps popping up wherever she doesn’t want him to. Callahan is sure a player, but there is just something about Jamacia that keeps him wanting more. They are the perfect duo and balance each other out. Although, does the past stay in the past like it’s supposed to? Or does it come back with a vengeance?

I really enjoyed the first two books in The Olympic Peninsula series and this one was no different. The O’Connell’s are back in this book and it’s good to see what’s going with them. The Magic Man is a heartfelt tale well-written romance tale. The wonderful characters and the vivid narrative helps to move the story along. You will find yourself falling in love with our MC’s as they navigate their feelings. David is a changed man gone is the happy go lucky man he once was, and it has everyone worried. His past is getting in the way of something that could be amazing, oh and let’s not forget that a one temperamental fiancée. Just who is the Magic Man? The sexual tension is smouldering, but Maddie knows when it is time to walk away no matter what her heart feels. But could there be danger just around the corner? Cat has written something that will hit you in all the feels. With few emotional twists to navigate, the Magic Man, should not be missed. There is nothing better than a captivating dark romance that is gritty, raw, bloody, and deadly. King is an alpha male. He is a little dark, passionate, possessive, obsessive, dangerous and knows what he likes and gets what he wants. She is nothing more than repayment or so he says but in reality, she is his and won’t let her go. Ava is beautiful and strong, and she is nobody’s pawn. She should be scared of him but something about him draws her in. Together they are hot, and sparks fly. I saw her. I wanted her. I took her. It is a compelling romance tale that at times was a little predictable but with angst, drama, emotion, secrets, danger, secrets, danger, and more. If you like an intense, dominant, possessive, utterly irresistible man who loves just as fiercely as he lives then you will love this book.

This book is a dark and intense romance story. It comes with a few trigger warnings but, if you are OK with them, the story is fantastic. I was pulled straight into this book and was consumed by Ava and King. Whether they love or have one another, their chemistry and connection is undeniable. The more I read about them, the more I wanted to read. I loved everything about the story line as well. It didn’t shy away from the dark themes and handle them with ease. This is a brilliant story and a great start to this duet.

This book is the sixth one in the series but can be read as a standalone. However, after reading this one, I can say for sure I will be going back to read the rest. This is a brillaint romance story with two characters that were easy to connect with. I lover watching their relationship develop over time. The story is one of my favourite kind of storylines. I got into the story quickly and easily and found it hard to put down. I wanted to know how things would turn out. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Ava is in a predicament due to no fault of her own. As luck will have it her brother owes King a lot of money. So King has her kidnapped to do with her whatever he pleases. Her brother is no saint so she knows she has to use her own wits to get herself out of this mess. I highly recommend this book. And can’t wait to read more from this author.

A King So Savage (The Savage Duet) by April Moran . This is such a good, dark romance. This is the story of Ava who is just a good girl that gets used as a pawn in a debt. Ava’s parent’s died in a tragic accident leaving her and her brother on their own. Her brother has always been a mess and never a great brother to Ava. When he owes Kingston, a dark alpha male, money he gives him the only valuable thing he has, his sister, Ava. Ava is devastated her brother would do this to her. Kingston hasn’t made up his mind what he will do with Ava but he loves aggravating her. Her sassiness just makes her all the more desirable. Kingston gets some of what he wants from Ava and she goes from fighting him all the way to a puddle of goo in his hands. Feelings get involved and Ava finds herself doing things she never thought she would. Wanting things she never though she would. She will never forgive her brother for the mess he has her in. Amazing dark romance!
