5 Stars Relentless: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 4) by Via Mari Relentless is the fourth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards Series by Via Mari . This is a fast paced story that once you start you won’t want to stop till you’ve finished. This is Dereck and Layla’s story, He’s a security officer and she’s a exotic dancer. While on assignment with one of the men he was hired to protect they find themselves in a trafficking ring. This is where he meets Layla, she’s got secrets of her own she’s very dang determined to keep but what will happen when they are exposed? Can Dereck keep her safe? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I would highly recommend reading this whole series if you haven’t already. I can’t wait to read more from this Author .

Do you ever know what you are getting into when you love someone? Nothing in West Lakes is as it appears to be. Emily soon learns this after moving to the small town. She definitely did not expect Zach or the secrets that reveal themselves. This is a great start to the series and I cannot wait for book 2. This is a great page turner so careful reading when you have to be up the next day!

More of a coming of age story with a paranormal twist and some mystery. Would rate as upper YA/New Adult as there is sex talk and some sexy scenes.
I found the new (to me) take on the werewolf pack, where it’s only males born into the pack and females are brought in via being a mate, very interesting. I also liked reading about the core group’s (Zach, Danny, Alex, Madison and Emily) dynamics and how it changed throughout the school year, with them each discovering more about themselves and each other. There’s hints of “friends to lovers,” “enemies to lovers,” and “Mate” romance. Something for every paranormal romance fan to enjoy.
I wished we got more of the “mystery” aspect in book 1, but it’ll keep me hanging on for book 2!

I enjoyed this novel by Izzibella Beau. I really enjoy books about vampires and werewolves, and to my delight this book featured both. The story of Zach, Emily, and their gang of friends is full of fun and some adventure. Izzibella Beau has created a vibrant world with strong characters. The story kept my interest and left me looking forward to continuing the journey. I want to see if Zach, Emily, and their friends can triumph and find their happy ever after.
This is a book you can get lost in. At first, the premise feels a little uncomfortable, but the more you listen, the more you want to hear. “The Inheritance” had me feeling good things and bad for both Lani and Max. This book is a must read if you like unconventional relationships, mysterious guessing games, and scenes that will make you wonder if anybody else can hear the book you’re listening too!

I am always excited to get my hands on a new Life Is Hell novel from Naomi Valkyrie. It is a one-click, no questions asked, kind of thing and I never regret it. Sure As Hell did not deviate from this and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read. I started this one early in the evening hoping to get enough and to bed at a decent time… lol not sorry, but that did not happen. I had to see how my new favorite characters would end up! I wish Juniper Lake was kind of a real place. I can imagine how much fun it would be to visit and see that not all things with a hint of dark are bad at their cores. This is a series you do not want to miss if you love the dark arts, magic, fae, warlocks and more. I cannot wait to see what the next book will hold!

4 out of 5 stars. Revelations (Separate Worlds Book 1) by Izzibella Beau is a fantastic YA paranormal novel. This is the first book I have read by this author, and I couldn’t read it fast enough! Thank goodness it’s book 1 of a series. This book brings to life relatable characters and intertwines their tales beautifully into a saga that rivals Twilight. Yeah. I said it. Zach and Emily’s stories are compelling right from the start, and the twists and turns this tale takes makes this book a page turner, for sure. The town of West Lakes jumps off the page, and all the while, holds a haunting mystery about it. This is a great escape story, while still being relatable for young adults. I definitely recommend this book.

It seems there is a battle coming. All of the mates have powers. Zach wants to protect his people and avenge the death of women of his pack. They have such a lovely love story… Until the cliffhanger…gah! A great read!

When I started this book I could not put it down. This author’s use of details makes this story pull you into the story from the beginning. Her plotline kept me turning the pages. I needed to know what was coming next. The characters were lively, engaging, and complexed. This book is about Zach and Emily. They come from two very different worlds and they need to be cautious about the people in their life. They need to look into the world with their eyes open and watch their backs. I highly recommend this book to see all the twists and turns that happen in the world for Zach and Emily.

I am not a fan of cliffhangers, and when a book ends on one, I predict the ending and am satisfied with my conclusion. In this case- the book worm in me refuses to be satisfied with any but Izzibella’s book 2. I enjoyed every bit of this novel. The plot was easy to follow, whimsical and I appreciated that Emily and Zach’s relationship was organic. Sometimes secondary characters may come off as annoying- but not this was not the case, I found that they added to the creative balance of the book. At one point I was rooting for Madison and Jacob- their chemistry is explosive. Izzibella does have a knack for producing an entertaining and engrossing novel- do not just take my word for it, read it for yourself I guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Revelations (Separate Worlds Book 1) by Izzibella Beau 4 Stars
This is the first book that I have read by this author. It was good. It captured my attention from the start. Emma and her Aunt mo Ed a lot and now end up in West Lakes for her new job. It means once again Emma is the new kid in school. Thankfully this is her senior year. She managed to quickly become friends with Zach and his group. Falling head over heels for him, she didn’t expect to have a boyfriend so soon. It feels like it was meant to be.
Zach quickly realizes that Emma is his fated mate. Is it just coincidence that Danny and Jacob found their mates as well? The vampires are closing in and Zach’s pack has to kill the one who murdered his mother. Secrets are unearthed that turn Emma and Zach’s life upside down.
The characters are likeable and the story is well written. The author keeps you guessing and has you wanting to know more. This is a good start to this series. I have to warn you though that it does end on a cliffhanger.

Zach and Emily are just two seniors in high school in West Lakes, Zach is part of a big family and is close to his siblings, but he has friends who are like family to him as well, but Emily is the new kid in town with only her Aunt who she lives with, but no friends because she moves around so much because of her Aunt’s work. As they both embark on a new school year, they are polar opposites from completely separate worlds, but when those worlds collide nothing will be the same.
As Zach prepares for his new school year, he has the usual single word conversation with his younger brother as he is woken up too early by him coming home too late, they are the complete opposite in personality, if not in looks, but they are still family despite annoying each other to death, whereas Emily is still unpacking from her move and takes a welcome break to go to the mall with her Aunt to get some new clothes for the start of the new school year, she wants to make a good impression as the new kid in town and is not overly sure that the nerves aren’t going to get the better of her in the end.
When the fateful first day arrives, Zach is happy to see his friends, but when he has to go to the administrators office to get his schedule instead of it being at the seniors table, he is more than annoyed with the delay, but when he enters, there is a girl in there before him, she intrigues him, but when she turns around he is lost and when she turns around she isn’t as stunned into silence as him. This girl is Emily as she collects her schedule as well after being dropped off at the school, she smiles at the hot guy standing in front of her, but politely excuses herself when he just stands there and stares at her rudely. As she is trying to find her way to her locker and first period, she is approached by a couple of girls as she is attempting to keep her head down and avoid the usual stares and comments as she walks by, especially from the other hot guys who were in the office before her and it turns out that the guy from earlier is in her first period and as the girls introduce themselves and him, he walks her to their class, but barely says two words to her.
Zach is completely distracted by Emily and has no idea why as he doesn’t normally react to girls like that and it makes him more and more annoyed as the day goes on, especially when Emily is invited to join their group at lunch and then to shopping, the football game and the dance afterwards that Friday. As the days pass, Zach gets a handle on his emotions and inner conflicts and gets to know Emily more, she is as happy with this turn of events as he is and they become closer as time goes on. Will this be the moment when Emily can finally stop moving around and will Zach finally find an attraction like he never has before, or is it all just teenage hormones and nothing more? This is a sweet romance with some adult themes, but it is a romance with a twist which keeps you wanting to know more about their different worlds and what will happen as time goes on between them.
Sure As Hell by Naomi Valkyrie is the fourth book in the fantastic Life is Hell series. This time the story focuses on Jaru and Larkspur. The great part of this series is the recurring characters and getting to see them each tell their own stories, but how they work into the stories of other characters. I recommend reading each of these in order, but I think this is written to be read also as a standalone. I really enjoyed the story of Jaru. It had me laughing and enjoying the story but also relating to the idea that when things go too well things tend to go to crap. How relatable! I love how the characters are developed and entwine around each other despite their differences. I always love picking up this series and look anxiously to the next book by this author.

The Earl and the Peahen by Jean Wilde is the fifth book in the Scarlet Salon series. This is a brilliant historical romance that really caught my attention from the moment I read the description. This is a stand-alone book so does not have to be read in order to be enjoyed. Out of all the books I have read by this author I think this one is my favourite so far. I really just fell in love with the characters. They were interesting and had a clear connection from the start. The author did a great job with the writing in the book as well. It was evenly paced and the plot was developed exactly when it needed to be. This is a thoroughly enjoyable book and definitely worth your time.

This novel was hot hot hot! And I don’t mean because it was set in Hawaii. Disgraced Hollywood film star Claudia goes on location to Hawaii to film a low budget soap and in search of a past love. However, she gets more than she bargains for when she meets the rugged and daring stuntman, Henry. This is a raunchy, steamy love story. Claudia reminded me of Marilyn Monroe with her bombshell looks and 60s glamour. This is a perfect Summer read!

Revelations (Separate Worlds #1) by Izzibella Beau
This is the first book I’ve read by Beau. Revelations had me hanging on the edge of my seat. This wonderful page turner will leave you wanting more.
Emily is once again new in town. Living with her aunt who is always moving is hard. The last year of school is always the worst time to start fresh. The quote I chose for Emily is: “Aunt Maureen would like you to come over this weekend, I think Sunday. She wants to have some type of group talk and would like you to be there.”
Zach is a wolf. He and his two brothers are future Alphas. When his brother, his best friend and himself find their mates he wonders what’s going on. The quote I chose for Zach is: “I haven’t seen him. He came in yesterday evening, but I didn’t get a chance to speak with him. Why?”
I listened to the audiobook version of this one. This good was a great quick listen. I liked the Max character and his quiet strength and the way it was written definitely kept me wanting to know more about him. I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of the character name Lonnie, because in my head that is a guy’s name, but that’s just me. Lonnie herself was a great balance of strong yet amenable. I wanted to know more about the plan the uncle had for her and why he chose this particular set of tasks for her. It was really a great listen and totally recommend this book!

This is the fourth book – Relentless: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by one of my fav authors Via Mari. This is a contemporary romance with an edge that is intense and full of suspense and mystery. Via’s stories are always unpredictable and very well written with fantastic characters. She always keeps you on the edge and reveals things that you never see coming. There is sizzling chemistry that is hot sexy with a touch of dominance and submission from these elite security team of alpha men. Add in lots of danger, attitude and sass, a sex trafficking ring and you will be riveted, and engrossed and will keep the pages turning to see what happens.
Layla will do whatever it takes to get her sister back with her and make sure she is safe. Dereck tries to keep the spitfire out of trouble but even this could be too much for him.

This book was great! This isn’t my first book by this author but it is my first audio by her! I was pulled in from the beginning and was kept interested throughout all of the story. Stone and Adeline were great main characters because they were very likable and relatable. I was able to listen to this audio while I traveled back home and it made the trip fly by. I love when a book/audio makes me lose track of time because that means it was good! I really liked this narrator. Her voice was nice and light. I would love to listen to more voiced by her in the future as well as read/listen to more by this author too! I would recommend this to anyone that is looking for a sweet romance to pass the time with! Happy Listening!

Naomi definitely has writing complex stories down to a science. This story was not a disappointment. Lark and Jaru have a interesting relationship and it’s best learned from previous books. Jaru feels he isn’t enough for Lark. The way Jaru talks about himself is just sad. The fact that he loves Lark but doesn’t feel worthy broke my heart. I was ready to slap him for suggesting Lark hook up with his bodyguard. Like bro nooo. The relationships are beautiful and complicated. But you can feel how they really feel for each other through the pages. Soren is one of my favorite characters and the relationship between Soren, Lark and Jaru is awesome. Definitely give this series a try but in order lol.

My Sweet GI AUDIO BOOK by T.L Wainwright was such a heart wrenching listen. I love a good historical romance but I have not listened to one so close to the current time. I felt so much for Jenny, she was a smart and intuitive character. There were so many twists and turns, I was pulled in. I loved the narrator, she had such a gentle voice and tone that went perfectly with the story. I have not been so enamored with a romance story, it hit my heart the way The Notebook did.

Queen Of My Heart by Nikki Lynn Barrett is the first book in the Life Won’t Wait series. This is a sweet contemporary romance which some lovely characters right at the heart of it. This whole story has a great feel to it. It is emotional and heartwarming. I found myself wanting to keep reading to discover more of the journey that the characters were going on. I thought the author did a great job of developing the story at the right pace. Nothing felt rushed or forced, everything felt like it happened naturally. This is a really well written book which such a great pace about it. As the first book of a new series it is a strong start and has me excited about what else is to come.

This is the 3rd book in the series. Claudia and Henry are very cute . This was an enjoyable and engaging read with a friends to lovers storyline set in Hawaii in 1968. I was swept away by this descriptive Hawaiian Retro romance which featured great characters in Claudia and Henry. I found this a easy and nice book to read.

Revelations is Book one in the Separate Worlds Series. it is an amazing start too, I might add. I absolutely loved it, once started! I legit could not set the book aside until I read it all. I love a good YA paranormal, shifter, romance book. This book has it all, shifters, suspense, high school drama and romance, and of course secrets. Really enjoyed the characters, they’re easy to get to know and understand and they are very connectable. The story-line was amazing and had its share of twists and turns, the more you read. Be warned, this book does end on a cliffhanger. But it is just the beginning in its series, so more is to come I’m sure! I will definitely be reading Book two when it is released. I NEED to know what happens next in the shifter world for sure.

Love by Design (The Meraki Series Book 2) by Effie Kammenou is an enemy to lovers romance. With her rich and vivid descriptions, you are transported to picturesque Greece and Italy. I enjoyed the banter between the MC’s which made the story more fun. This book isn’t just a love story, it is also about family and the mystery they uncover.
Our MC’s are both broken & have traumas from their pasts that elicits trust issues. If they can get past that they may just have something good.

The Earl and the Peahen is Jean Wilde’s fifth book in the The Scarlet Salon series. It is a historical romance set in Regency times. I enjoyed the banter between the main characters which made it fun to read. The storyline is refreshing and original and had me laughing.
Jane is not like the rest of her family. She is not a beauty but rather plain. All she wants is a marriage of love. The Earl of Norwich wants a wife. Easy huh! Well you would have thought so.

I enjoyed this romance story. It is the second book in this series which I enjoyed just as much and highly suggest reading the first book as well. This is a well developed story that has characters that bring life to the story. I had no problems relating to them and they made the story fun and entertaining to read. This is a story about healing from the past and learning to trust in romance. MIa has just landed her dream job except she now has to work with Nicholas, who she has had a crush on. They find themselves on a beautiful adventure of the new publication. They each have a past that they need healing of. Can they find the healing they need in themselves? What will fate have in store for them? I enjoyed them and what they brought to the story. I also enjoyed the mystery part where Mia tries finding out what happened to her grandfather which brought the story to another level. Their growth is great as well as their chemistry. I highly recommend picking up this book.

I loved this book. This is an author that I have loved and read every book by her and they just keep getting better and better. This one is no different. It is the fourth book in this series which I highly suggest reading the previous books before this one to help your enjoyment of this series. This is a well written story that pulled me in right from the beginning. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and kept me turning pages to the end. In this book we get to see Dereck’s story. He is assigned a task of one of the men he is bodyguard for. What he gets himself into is trafficking which is where he meets Layla. Now he is faced with losing his heart to her and they both find themselves in a situation that could be deadly. I loved these characters and what they bring to the story. Their growth in the story makes it feel realistic. They made the story entertaining to read and I highly recommend it.
