This is a beautifully written second chance romance. The author covers some topics in this book which maybe hard for some readers such as grief, dealing with grief and the anger and pain that is caused by losing a loved one. This book really tugs at the heart strings and the characters are so well written and developed that you can’t help feeling all the emotions they go through. As well as being a story about loss it is also a story about hope and healing and how finding the right person can help you through anything life throws at you no matter how big or small.
Hope and Adam meet several times. The first time they were both in relationships but they couldn’t ignore the chemistry between them. The next time they meet Adam was struggling with the loss of a loved one and Hope was struggling to find the love she has been craving. Adams loss has left him filled with anger and hurt and he has closed himself off from people but when he sees Hope being harassed by some guy he can’t help but step in. Both of them realise that something is bringing them together over and over again but are they prepared to take the risk of putting their hearts on the line again?
This is a beautiful story. As you read your heart will break for the characters but as you carry on their story and they start to heal each other you can feel that sense of healing coming through to heal you as well. I enjoyed this heartfelt emotional story

There is just enough romance and humor in this story. I love how the main characters interact with each other from the beginning to the end. There is a lot of growth development with each character. Also, the minor characters are very well placed in certain parts of the story to help the main characters out. Overall, the story is very well put together and is very easy to read and will definitely take you from reality for a few hours.

This book was so suspenseful. I can’t give enough praise about this entire series. This author really nailed it with these 4 cousins and their stories. Shane and Winter see eachother at the coffee shop and are instantly attracted to eachother. They have a past that Winter doesn’t seem to be able to remember until close to the ending. Winter lost her entire family as a child. Her dad died, her sister died, and he mom is in prison. Her mom is looking for an early release but even if isn’t granted, she’s only got 2 years left. Someone has stalking Winter and leaving her scary threatening notes. Winter and Shane have a mutual attraction. Shane tries to remember what type of Person Winter was but that was a long time ago. Maybe she has changed…become nicer..He still plans for payback Shane has had a rough go these last few months. His luck doesn’t seem to be changing. I cannot wait for the final Book in this series but I also hate for it to end.

The Truth About Myths (The Winemakers Book 3) by Giovanna Siniscalchi. This is such a good Historical romance, I really enjoyed it. Its the story of Princess Isabel who is very rigid almost to the point of being a prude but when she goes to Spain with Viscount Henrique she is very enthralled by him. He is so sexy and everything she has tried to stay away from. Henrique is tasked with taking Isabel who is his best friends sister and he is not looking forward to it. He is known for being a rake and not being faithful but when he gets to know Isabel he thinks she might be able to change his ways. Isabel is so rigid and wants to do what is right for her country and Henrique is all about living life to the fullest. He does admire Isabel and the chemistry between them is remarkable. The author’s description of the beautiful scenery made me feel as if I was transported to Spain and Portugal. This can be read as a standalone as well.

One can never go wrong reading a Holiday’s romance story, and this one is no exception! I fell in love with this book because it was based around a romance writer who was in a writers block due to romance issues of his own. It was definitely a relatable situation that brought me into the book and didn’t let me go. While the author does add additional whimsy outside of what may happen in most peoples lives, it is definitely important to remember that this is a story. Chelsea Lauren certainly has an act for not shying away from real life problems though, such as abuse and addiction. Please keep this in my prior to choosing to read the book. Even though it has a few triggering events, the story was remarkable and shows that love can still exist after heartache.

I liked the premise of the plot for this book; however, I think that it could have been done better. Overall it just felt a little too adolescent and childish to me. I thought Akinosho’s writing itself was spectacular and I quite like how she developed her characters but there was just something that I can’t quite put my finger on about the plot that didn’t vibe with me. I understand the theory of kismet and the concept of using it for the basis of your writing is fantastic, but there was just something about this book that didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Dual POV’s can easily make a book 5 stars for me, being able to see and witness from both perspectives…is phenomenal. Makes a book that much better in my opinion. Extremely quick read and I never wanted it to end. I wanted so much more but did throughly enjoy what I read. The mystery, the drama…has me on my toes and I can’t wait for more!

This packed a few punches, some of them very unexpected!! The journey of Adam and Hope is one filled with twists, turns, love, loss, hope, and forever. Some parts I could see coming, others hit out of left field. I enjoyed this read and felt a part of this story, as another neighbor next door.
This story isn’t for everyone. There is loss and it’s pretty traumatic. Please use discernment when picking this book up to read if you’re going through a hard time. It is worth the read when you’re ready though!
This was my first read by this author but I love her writing style and I’ll be looking for more of her work!

Ghost Takes a Vacation is such a cute and fun book! It’s actually the 2nd book in a series and I didn’t realize that when I got it. But, it reads as a stand alone and gives enough backstory without bogging things down. I really loved the characters and the second hand embarassment from Genie getting caught conversing with a ghost in public was definitely real! A Very unique book, great world building and some intense moments. The characters were relatable and lovable, and I am now going to read the 1st one since I missed it! Absolutely recommend.

The Christmas Escape by Belinda Williams felt like the book version of a Hallmark movie and was a quick read. Lizzie is a 32-year-old failure according the pressures of her family. To prove it she’s lost her job and her housing all within a week. Lizzie is dreading Christmas with the family so when her friend finds herself with a unusable ticket to Australia – Lizzy takes it as a sign. She quickly meets Jaz and sparks fly. The rest is a sweet, slow-burn holiday romance you’re sure to enjoy.

The Christmas Escape was such a cute romance book. While it is a Christmas book, it takes place mostly in Australia so it is summer, and doesn’t have the traditional Hallmark channel feel to it. Lizzie is laid off and conveniently takes her friends ticket to Australia for a vacation before jumping into a job search. A misdirected football on the beach may be fate, when it brings Jaz into her life. As much as she tries to fight it, some connections are too strong to resist. This book has a happily ever after, but also ended in a way that could lead to a sequel. And I am hoping it does…

The Men of Eden Cove Manor is a short MM supernatural story. A manor that’s surrounded by rumors of what truly goes on there. The author brings you to this town that has a haunted manor overlooking it. People tell stories, they are scared, but how many have actually been there. Lucifer wants to meet one of the Men of the Manor. So in spite of his friends warnings of not going, he heads out for the night. To the biggest party of the year, thrown by non-other but those very mysterious men themselves. However instead of ending up at the party, he ends up roaming around the manor instead. Will he get caught? Mordecai and his housemates have been alerted of an intruder on their property. Which causes them to leave their task at hand early. Upon arrival the man is still in their home, so they decide to have a little fun with him. Will they traumatize him, like previous rumors? Mordecai and his friends are different and they are on the quest to find someone to make them complete. Will Lucifer fit that bill? This short story has a lot going on. However despite all that the author makes sure there are no loose ends. Leaving the reader with no unanswered questions. The story was good, but definitely different. If you like supernatural elements as well as MM romances check it out. You get a taste of both that will be intriguing enough to enjoy.

What a cute story! It’s very enjoyable and made me laugh a time or two. I have to say that as an older woman I appreciated all the humor and comments on menopausal ailments. The characters are fun! They really have a great build of different personalities in here. Very enchanting! Not only the two main but a lot of the secondary just cracked me up.
Overall this one moves along at a good pace. Easy and quick read! I look forward to the next in the series.

Once again, I find myself flying through another Hidden Valley Elite installment… this time while literally flying. I really enjoyed learning more about Shane’s back story in this one, as he’s always just been on the outskirts previously. My ONLY complaint is that I wish we didn’t end on a cliffhanger. Each installment in this series ends on a cliffhanger and could easily have each duet be one book. But I will wait as patiently as I can for the next one.

Almost and Forever is a story about love, loss and hope. I felt absolutely every kind of emotion as I read this story. I had the giddy, “this is the cutest ever” feelings, the chills and the tears. The first couple chapters had me completely invested, needing to read on, looking forward to bedtime to get a couple more chapters in! The characters in this book are the type that you want all the best in the world for, the type so well written you feel like you know them personally. If you want a story that will evoke raw emotion and leave you thinking about it long after it’s finished, Almost and Forever is definitely worth a try!

The Men of Eden Cove Manor: M/M Paranormal Halloween Romance
Not sure if it was the cover or the synopsis that convinced me to step out of my comfort zone but I did and I’m so glad. I have had the pleasure of reading at least one of Ms. Valkyrie’s previous books so I knew almost what to expect. I got that and more while reading this quick but fascinating and unique (at least to me) story.
Lucifer finds a way to get himself in trouble when he should have been enjoying the Halloween party thrown by the group of mysterious men who live in the Manor.
Mordechai came across as the unofficial leader of the guys living in the Manor. He definitely has a take charge personally which I think helped with Lucifer.
I would love to see more of the Men of the Manor because I liked them so much but would also be satisfied if this is our only encounter.

The Man in Black by L.R. Liverpool. I really enjoyed this Western Novel. It is a bit long so be prepared for that but the story is very good. Its the story of Fenimore who is leaving the life he’s always known behind to go and be an outlaw. He thinks its going to be like the books but what he finds is not that. He ends up joining the Red Evans Gang and becomes Simon Shaw. As members of the gang begin getting murdered he’s not to sure he made the right decision and debates going back home. He also discovers while he’s on the trail with the gang that he has feelings for one of his fellow members leaving him confused and frustrated. This book is very emotional and will rip your heart out in spots. Trying to find out who is trying to kill all the gang members and dealing with Simon’s feelings it gets to you in spots. This is a very good Western Romance with murder and mystery along with romance.

Dingo is trying to prove himself to his brothers but hides his pain behind is fun personality. Celee is on the run and comes across Dingo who takes her in and gives her a safe place. Both characters are broken in their own way but together they learn to lean on each other. This story is full of action, drama, suspense, humor, and passion. Another great story from the Grimm Wolves series.

This was a great 5 star read. This series has quickly become one of my favorites and I was excited to finally get Shane and Winter’s story. Be prepared for a heck of a rollercoaster of emotions and so much more. Winter returns to university, she is struggling with some things from her past. When Shane see’s Winter his need for revenge ignites. But as he spends time with her will he be able to go through with it? What will happen if Winter finds out his secrets? Overall this was a great dark read. There are so many twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. This is an interesting story, Elijah books himself on an author’s retreat hoping to find that spark again but what he finds is so much more. Austin just happens to be working the author’s retreat and when the two meet the sparks fly. Neither man is sure of the step to take but they cannot deny what they feel. It was nice to see the way their relationship progressed through this story. Each man is dealing with his own trauma and must decide if he wants to take a chance with his heart. Who knew a fake relationship would take them on a journey to this? Their story is sweet and low angst. It was nice to see how they supported each other and were willing to fight for what they wanted.

My biggest guilty pleasure, vampires! I’ve been obsessed for at least 30 years. This series though, I’ve been obsessed with this for 2 years. Master Sardinia is the 8th book in the Masters of the Consulate Series. A dark vampire romance with continued drama thrown in. I love this author and series and I don’t want it to ever end. The rogues have moved into Master Sardinia’s territory, which is where this story begins. This is his story. The books the author has presented draw you in and leave you wanting more. It’s also a series where you need to start with book 1 and read in succession. So my question to you is? What are you waiting for?!?!

OMG! I was super duper excited to read this next installment of this series. This one follows Shane from the previous books. This one was just as fantastic as the other. No, i think it was better, TBH. It’s filled with so much deceit, lies, emotions, drama, betrayal, spicy romance, and ups and downs that it’ll leave you dizzy and want more at the same time🥰. Some of these characters are a real piece of work (not gonna name names you’ll see lmao) but that’s just extra kudos to Isla Vaughn for creating them so well that you’ll feel such strong emotions toward them. Get ready to be left on the edge of your seat because this one leaves you on a cliffhanger 😬😬😭.I can’t believe that this series is about to end. I’m gonna miss the amazing characters and the complex world this brilliant author has written, but with that being said, I CANNOT WAIT to see how Shane and Winter’s story ends. Bring on the Wicked End 🥰

My emotions are not okay after reading this book. The story of Hope and Adam is passionate, raw and pure. The author builds each character separately while simultaneously intertwining their stories into a beautiful tale. I needed tissues and time with this one. Each time I put the book down I had to process what I had read. I love books that invest readers in their characters, connect them and make them feel a part of their world. This book is definitely one of those. Get some tissues ready and hold on to your heart because it is a fantastically emotional ride!

Don’t you just love romance books? Sometimes you can get so tired of the way love stories are written but not with this story. Angela does a wonderful job of reeling you and making all the feelings come. You will have so many emotions in this story, and it will demand you to read more and see how Adam and Hope’s intertwinement grows and forms.
