Small town romance with a twist. In this novel you once again see your loved bad boys with Knox and Gage being front and center along with a new arrival Josie. Starting over is hard but even with his own problems he couldn’t help but notice a small town local with her own set of issues. India Kells once again does it, combining both spice and drama to keep you entertained all the way through. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a little danger to their spice

This is the second installment in this series, and I can honestly say, I am so hooked. I thought I would be dipping my toes in with these novels, but honestly, it’s as though I ran the length of the dock and jumped right into the cold water. At least, that’s what these novels make me feel I need to do, to really cool down. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any hotter, the words seem to sizzle off the pages of the story revolving around Josie and Knox. I can relate to Josie and her story, her fear of her ex and unsure as to how to feel about herself as she runs herself ragged trying to keep up her end of the bargain and trying to eject herself completely from her husband Kenneth and his hold on her.
Along comes Knox, who is enchanted by Josie from the start, and refers to her as his lady of the lake. Having moved from the city and his life after getting out of the underground, to the small town of Landston, he has made several life changes and prefers his solitude over companionship, though it’s apparent to the reader that that won’t be enough for long. It’s an intriguing plot line, and I encourage anyone who has yet to read this authors work, to do so! I especially enjoyed hearing more about the world from which these lads rose from, in this installment, and look forward to finally hearing the story of Gage next. Another loud praise from this reader!

This was a new one to me, the idea of reading a sexually charged novel always piques my interest, but this was a different sort of charge all together. I can tell you that I made the mistake of trying to read some of this novel in the backseat while my in-laws were driving, and I turned several shades of red, but couldn’t stop. This author allows the reader to completely (or mostly) let go of the inhibitions and go on this erotic ride with what must be some of the sexiest characters that exist in the literary world. Locke is a stubborn man, as would be expected, and the connection/friendship he shares with Gage is to die for, chosen family and more.
The ability to have us get to know the characters in their own worlds, and their personality traits and issues before getting the sexual adventures underway was a well thought out method to draw the reader in and allowing us to feel like we aren’t peeping into a strangers fantasies. One of my favorite tidbits is that the women portrayed in the writing aren’t the fit, thin, super confident women we usually read about in romance novels, rather, they are average (albeit beautiful) women that have self-esteem issues or their own discomforts/self-doubts. Being one of these women, it allowed me to really connect with Tessa, who seemingly has her head screwed on straight, her professional life being the best it can be, yet, missing something in her personal life. Amazing! Currently reading the rest of the series, and very much looking forward to all the good goosebumps to come, highly recommend!

Tessa is a doctor that gets swept up in an underground sex trade that leaves her head spinning. Locke sweeps in and rescues her just in the nick of time and she stays with him to pay off the debt that he incurred by taking her off the sex slave circuit. His friend Gage ends up popping in to get patched up by the fierce independent doctor and she finds herself getting swept up in some really hot sex with the both of them. She starts to develop deeper feelings for Locke but she doesn’t think he cares for her. There are some rough obstacles they have to face if they’re going to make their relationship work. I really loved this book. It had action, heat and romance and an amazing ending. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.

Firstly, I need to say that this book was just as good if not better than the second book! Hawks story has stuck with me and had me so entranced that I forgot I was reading a book and was not standing right there!! Eli and Livs story were one that I was not expecting to have as big of an impact on me as it did. I thought the first book was breath taking but this author knows how to write amazing stories one after the other! I love MC romance novels and this series is spectacular! I cannot wait to read more books by this talented author!!

Agin the cover art …. I just wanted to reach out and hold on so tight and snuggle into that chest …..
Now I get where Eli ( Hawk ) is coming from with the questions he’s got , I mean he was born into to this safe bubble albeit it dangerous, but it’s like a world on its own with its own rules and they don’t really know life out of it and the decision he makes is life altering and doesn’t just affect him but his unborn child and wife a well ….
Liv and Hawk have been one since the beginning of time and I can’t see them separate but things take a strange turn and Liv is loyal and it couldn’t be easy for her , just shows you the power of love ❤️ but at the same time something is ailing Hawk and isn’t well … trouble calls and Liv knows who really has their best interests at heart and calls on the brothers of Satan to help ….
These bikers come across as big , burly and dangerous and trust me they are but underneath that they have massive hearts and when Joker and Hawk have a heart to heart I actually had to stop reading and just breath …,,
Despite what went down when one of them is down the whole family gets together and fights the battle this was a hard and beautiful read for me ….

So Amy and Drew were joined at the hop as youngsters , despite their age gap but as time went on it became a bit of a problem and Drew had to put a stop to it and Amy always wanted to leave the compound and do something different and being daddy’s blue eyed girl she got her way …,
Amy heads home for Christmas with a “ friend” and folk can feel something is off and when Xander comes out with the truth there’s no holding the Satan men back and I wish I could ride and die with them !
Xander is so gentle , nurturing and caring and fufills his role well and at times I felt like submitting to him myself 😉 but I couldn’t cheat on Drew could !?
I loved being around these men and their machines ,the compound has become my home and the people have become my people ❣️ looking forward to our journey together …. The only thing nagging at me is that Archangel is on free foot roaming …..

Absolute nail biter! Begs the question can love really conquer all? This book was thrilling, truly something you couldn’t stop once you started! A first for me from K.M Lowe but definitely won’t be the last! Love the chemistry, the passion, and the suspense! Was a great read with good flow and attention grabbing storyline. Characters were easy to fall in love with and have you rooting for them to get a happily ever after!

First, if you get triggered by talk of miscarriage, rape, or any kind if abuse you will want to fund another book.
This is the first book I have read by this author and I was hooked! Poor Kally was forced to marry the brother of the man that she loved. Should Clark have made his feelings known sooner? Yes! Would it have made a difference? Probably not, but we may never know. His father knew exactly how much it would hurt Clark to have his brother marry the woman who held his heart. It was cold and heartless, but neither Kally or Clark had any power to stop the wedding since she signed a legally binding contract. Will they be able to get their happily ever after? Or will Kally be trapped in a loveless marriage?

This story takes on the dark side of love. Heartfelt, heartbreaking, and heinous sides of love are shown in this tale. You will experience an emotional roller coaster as you watch what our characters endure and experience the light slowly start to dim within them. Kally and Clark tell a story of a love that was meant to be until it wasn’t. A future planned for their life together is ripped away when Kally is forced to marry Clark’s brother Colton. Her sacrifice becomes a life of horrific abuse from Colton who is more monster than man. As Kally becomes a shell of who she use to be its Clark who is planning in the shadows to get his girl back. The evil that has taken place, the hurt that cannot be undone, and the difficult fight for a forbidden love all come out within this book. You question if these 2 can ever find a HEA when they get their second chance, or was their love never meant to be.

I know I may have said this before with some of K.M Lowe’s other books- but this is definitely my favourite read of hers, so far- even though she left me hanging on a cliffhanger lol. Forbidden Love is the first book in the Forbidden Duet by K.M. Lowe. It is a bit of a dark romance, with triggers, tension, drama, suspense, and plenty of emotion. I was quickly absorbed by the story, finding myself completely invested in the characters and their story, reading it all in one sitting just so I wouldn’t miss a thing. A forbidden romance that held me in its grasp till the very last word and has left me needy for more. Can’t wait to get my hands on Reacquainted Love which will complete the duet- it’s set to be riveting. Bring on Book #2!!! Can’t wait!!!

I enjoyed reading this book and wow I can’t believe someone would actually do this kind of thing to their children. Colton, Clark and Damien are brothers who grow up in the same house yet turn out to be totally different from eachother. Kally and Clark have always been close. They have feelings for eachother but at Kally’s 18th birthday party things change. Clark was waiting for Kally to turn 18 to act on his feelings and claim her as his but now he might be to late. This book is so messed up on so many levels in a good way though haha! Colton has lost his mind. I can’t even imagine having to deal with someone like him. Will Clark get his happy ending? Will Colton finish what he has started? This book had lots of great characters. Love Caleb and his brothers. Definitely a lot of suspense in this one and wasn’t sure what was going to happen next!

This dark and gripping story is simply amazing. While this is not my first book by this author this one was dark, emotional, gripping, and dramatic. Personally I can’t wait to read the second one in this series. While it may be full of pain, and heartache can Kally and Clark over come the obstacles in their path? Can they over come the greed and hatred from those that are supposed to love them more than anything? This story will keep you reading and I’m not sure how soon you’ll be able to read a book after this story…..Clark and Kally will stay with you even after you read your next book. So make sure you don’t miss this griping story.

This is the first instalment of a duet that I’m pretty sure I will read again if this first book is anything to go by. I had read one of this author’s books before and had really enjoyed it, so I has no issues reading more of this author’s work. Can I say, I really loved this book. It had my emotions all over the place. My heart broke for Kally and Clark so many times. No one deserves the heartache that their families put the two of them through. I pray that they get their well deserves HEA. This book will really tug on the heart strings. I don’t think I’ve hated anyone as much as I hated Clark’s brother Colton. That man is just pure evil. The author does a brilliant job is grabbing you tightly at the beginning of the book and keeping a tight grasp right through and not letting you go. As the first part of a duet, there is more of this fascinating story still to come and I can’t wait to read it.

Forbidden Love is the first in a duology from the highly prolific KM Lowe and tells the story of Kally and Clark. Kally and Clark have been friends since they were children and despite falling in love with each other by the time Kally is 18 they haven’t gotten together yet. However, it seems that they’ll never get the chance, when at Kally’s 18th birthday party their families announce that Kally must marry Clark’s incredibly sinister, older, brother to pay a debt. As Kally faces incredible trials and heartbreak, Clark must learn to fight for his love and that family is who you love, not just blood.
This book is incredibly fast paced. From the first page we are thrown into the intense world of the Collinson family and see that this is a family built on greed and appearances. Only Clark and Damian seem to have any real humanity and so it makes sense that they are the main male characters. They are fiercely loyal to those they care about and will go to the ends of the earth to protect them. Kally has grown up with these boys and she and Clark seem well suited for each other, although we don’t get much background since there’s so much other stuff going on. You care for Kally from the beginning and get to watch her grow immensely throughout the story. This book is perfect for fans of The Bourbon Kings series by J.R. Ward.

This story follows Clark and Kally. All she wanted was Clark. But now, that seems so far out of reach. Kally just turned 18 and the life she was hoping for diminished instead. Clark managed to get away from his family and all he wanted was a life with Kally. Clark’s father is not about to let him walk away.

Forbidden Love: Book 1 of the Forbidden Duet by KM Lowe. This is one of my favorite kind of books. I loved the story. This is the story of Kally Jamieson and Clark Collinson who have grown up together and been best friends. As they have gotten older they have fallen in love but because they both come from affluent families things are not always as they want it to be. Clark has no interest in running the family business so he branches out on his own. Due to a bet between families when Kally turns 18 she is to be married to Colton as a business deal. Clark is heartbroken so he leaves it all behind and moves on to deal with his heartbreak. Colton is not a good husband he is abusive and leaves Kally broken. Will she be able to break out of this horrible relationship? Will Clark and Kally be able to get back together and rekindle the love they once had? Read Forbidden love to find out!

This was such a fantastic read! I absolutely loved it. I was so gripped by what I was reading. I loved that the author wrote the story using multiple POV’s it really does make for a more interesting read as you get to understand all of the characters and their inner thoughts. Kally and Clark’s story was such an emotional rollercoaster, I couldn’t turn the pages quick enough to find out just what was going to happen. I really did feel for Kally and everything that she went through – she really did go through some every dark times and I could have cried for on so many occasions. Clark was just amazing and again with everything he went through I could have cried for him too! Both characters were amazing and I wanted them get through everything and be together. I am so excited to read the next part of the story although I feel it’s going to be another emotional one!

Kally and Clark have been best friends since they were children and their love for each other has only grown. When Clark arrives to Kally’s eighteenth birthday party, he finds out just how out of reach she’s about to be. To help protect her family, Kally has to do something she never thought she’d ever have to do. Can Clark save her from her fate or will he be too late?
This is written in multiple POV which is always a favorite of mine as it really gives you a well rounded story. While this is a little dark, it is a fast paced palate cleansing read. Looking forward to seeing where this one goes.

This is a such a beautiful tugs on the heart strings love. Hawk and Liv were meant to be together. They fell in love when they were young children and were one was, the other was always close by. They just got married and are expecting their first child together when it all starts to fall apart. Hawk loses his way and can’t seem to pull him self out of the hole that he suddenly finds his self in. Live is always there offering her support the best way that she can even though he definitely doesn’t make it easy. The MC steps forward to help him through this tough time when tragedy hits. Now Hawk has to claw his way back up to his former self in order to save his family. This is an incredibly emotional story that will draw you right in from the very first page. You definitely won’t want to miss it.

Forbidden Love: Book 1 of the Forbidden Duet by KM Lowe
Forbidden Love is the first book in the Forbidden Duet. This is a Contemporary Romance with a bit of suspense that will have you turning the pages while on the edge of your seat. This book started off fierce and only intensifies as the story proceeds. I’m a huge fan of this author but this is definitely my favorite yet. There’s plenty of drama, suspense, anger, romance and so much more. What would you do if the one girl you’ve wanted your whole life gets given to someone else for a debt? You try like heck to do anything possible to get her free. This is Kally and Clarks story and man it definitely had my emotions all over the place from anger to be being very sad for the situations that Kally was forced to be in. Kally and Clark have friends for what seems like forever they both have had secret feelings for the other. But on Kally’s eighteenth birthday she finds out her l8fe is fixing to change big time. Can Clark be her saving grace or will she be his? I really don’t want to give up to much. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Im looking forward to reading more from this Author

This was a really emotional love story. The author does an amazing job with the characters. I felt so desperately sorry for Clark and Kally. Their struggles in this book are very heartbreaking to read but also gripping as you want them to succeed and be together.
Clark is part of a very dangerous family. When he decides he wants a life better than one in the family business of crime he breaks away taking over his grandads business. However this does not sit well with his family and Clarks dad has a plan for revenge which will destroy him. This plan involves the love of his life Kally. He has loved Kally for years but has never told her and now it maybe too late.
Kally has just turned 18. She should be looking forward to her new adult life and the adventures to come. However when she is used to settle her dad’s debt all that changes. To protect her family she needs to marry Clark’s older brother. She knows her life is over and add to her despair is the fact this will also break Clarks heart.
Now they both need to survive their situations long enough to try and find a way back to each other. Will love conquer all? Or will the obstacles in their way be too dangerous to make it through alive?

Wow….I was pulled right in from the start and didn’t want to put it down. I was an emotional wreck and ugly cried several times. My heart went out to Kally and Clark, these two have been close since they were kids. At Kally’s 18th birthday party, Clark learns some devastating news that will change their lives in a huge way. We jump ahead three years and there is another devastating and heartbreaking event (cue the ugly crying). Enough is enough and Clark finally makes his move to protect Kally. Kally has been through hell the last three years, the abuse that she has endured has broken her. Will she be able to come back from it? Clark is amazing and is trying to do all he can to protect Kally and get her the help she needs. All of the characters added a great element to the story. I was so angry with her parents, they are supposed to protect you. I’m anxious to see what is coming in the next book. I will warn that some scenes may cause triggers for some. The author has done a great job with her writing and I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today.

This is the story of Clark and Kally, two childhood friends that grew up to be best friends. The problem they face is Clark’s family. The level of dysfunction is off the charts. Kally is tremendously strong. She faces hard struggles head on and pushes through. You can feel the love the two have for each other. I feel that Kally is my favorite. I felt everything she went through. Her growth through the story was so strong. I didn’t see the end confrontation coming and all I can is good! The characters were so well-developed, even the dysfunctional ones, such as Clarke’s family. Nancy and Jared should have been Clark’s parents. Kally’s parents left me undecided. The plot was very well-developed. Even with different POV’s, it just went on smoothly. It was a very good book that will keep you intrigued until the end. I will be eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

This book had me hooked right from the moment I started reading. The story development was so well done that I found myself getting completely lost in it. This is an author that really knows how to create something lasting that will reslly stick with you. I loved the characters in the book. Their chemistry was undeniable and the jour ey they go on is captivating. So much seems to happen. This is an amazing start to a new series and I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2.
