What an amazing world of Mafia magic Ms.Mari has created for us here. I am not usually one to get so invested in these mafia stories, but let me just say, I was here for it with this duet! Damian and Bryanna had such an amazing story and then to follow it up with Dereck and Layla’s story. I was just so enthralled. I can’t wait to read more from Via Mari.

Elusive Surrender (Sinful Duets Book 3) by Via Mari. I love this author so much and I enjoy everything she writes. This book was no exception. These 2 additions were amazing. In Elusive I loved Alexis and Sheldon. Alexis is little more independent than Sheldon wants as he is looking for a submissive but she has all the other attributes he’s looking for. When someone wants to harm Alexis, Sheldon will do whatever it takes to protect her. Sheldon is such a great guy and the chemistry between him and Alexis is sizzling. In Tenacious, Allie & Nick have such chemistry but Allie doesn’t want to be hurt and doesn’t want to end up a single mom like her mom was. Nick is a dominant but he is crazy about Allie and has such a soft side with her. He will do anything in the world for her if only she would give him her heart! These are such good reads and I can’t wait for the next!

Well she’s done it again. This book was everything I have come to expect from a book by Ms. Mari. Romance, suspense, danger and some incredible hot moments.
I wasn’t sure if Sheldon and Alexis were a good fit. But as I got deeper into the story I could see they were more perfect than I could have expected. How Sheldon didn’t throttle Alexis I will never know.
All of these guys are absolutely the Alpha males of all Alphas. Not a single one of them doesn’t exude it and I love reading how each one of them is getting snared by these women.

If only one of these young, hot, wealthy dominant males needed a mortgage and happened to have me as their loan processor. But since that will never happen I will live vicariously by reading this series instead. Now we have six of the guys who have found love and I hope we have several more.
I loved the back and forth between Nick and Allie and how they fought the attraction, well she more so than he. Thankfully love won.

I thought the one before this was my favorite Via Mari duet but I was so wrong. I really enjoyed the stories and characters in this book. The romance, the suspense, mystery ad all the good things that I love in a book. Highly recommend all and any of the books by this author but if you can only choose one then this is it. I will be reading this book again soon.

If you want to do anything important, do it right the first time. This is one high energy, fast paced story. Kai is directing a movie and wants facts, yet stays under budget. Easy Right? No, she has to find the right people to train her actors so that the movie is not only accurate but believable. Waters is the man for the job, he thinks it will be easy. But there is so much more then he thought. The author is new to me and I am happy I took the time to read this. The story is well written and the characters are loveable, strong and independent. This is a must read story, you won’t be disappointed.

This book has it all…drama, suspense, action, and romance. I’m not going to lie…I was intimidated by the length of the book when I first opened it. But, I was quickly drawn into the story and didn’t notice how fast I was getting through the story.
Kai is an up and coming producer and hires Walters to work on her current project. The sparks fly between these two immediately. However, Walters has no room in his life for a relationship. Over the next three months, a series of events wreaks havoc in Kai’s life and puts her in danger. Walters is determined to figure out who is behind it. The twists and the turns kept me turning the pages…wanting to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between them cannot be denied and I enjoyed how their relationship progressed throughout the story.
This book had a great flow and I found myself going long periods of time without putting the book down. I never really knew what was going to happen next. I also enjoyed both of the main characters and found myself invested in the story.

This was a great 5 star read. I was pulled in and didn’t want to put it down. I felt like I had more than one story going on. There are several twists and turns. I really liked the characters, you could feel their connection coming off the pages. Having military in my family, I felt for Waters on his PTSD and wanting to keep her at arm’s length. I like duel POV so I can see what they both are thinking, adds more to the story this way.
Overall I really enjoyed this book. We get suspense, danger, mystery, and so much more. My emotions were all over the place and some LOL moments. The author’s writing is great and she pulls you right into her story. You feel like you are right there with the characters. I will warn there is a scene that could cause triggers for some so beware. This is the third book in this series and I have enjoyed every book so far and this one was just as good as the last two. The two main characters are Sheldon & Alexis. They’re such good mcs and I enjoyed reading their story and watching them navigate through their tricky relationship and romance. They definitely had chemistry and it was hot hot hot. Elusive Surrender is the third riveting instalment in the Sinful Duets series by Via Mari. This is a fantastic romantic suspense duet that contains two standalone stories- ‘Elusive’ and ‘Tenacious’. As always, I love the way Via Mari weaves her stories with plenty of chemistry, sizzle, danger, secrets, hidden agendas, action, mystery, a whole lot of intrigue, emotion, and so much more. I’m always guaranteed of a unputdownable read when I dive into one of her stories, and that’s certainly the case for this duet too.
Elusive: This is Alexis and Sheldon’s story (whom we have met previously)- where Alexis finds herself in a sticky situation when an international sex trafficker sets his eyes on her and Sheldon is tasked with protecting her. What happens makes for an exciting read.
Tenacious: Here we join Nick and Allie for their story, picking up one month after they met in ‘Elusive’ (Book #5). Nick hasn’t been able to get Allie out of his head. But he is certain that the danger hasn’t passed- she will definitely need to be protected until the threat can be completely eliminated. But that doesn’t necessarily mean she will fall at his feet. Chemistry sizzles and sparks fly!!! I loved Nick and Allie- and I also loved getting answers in the trafficking story that has been running through the series!
I love that we get a duet, two fantastic stories brought together in one book- it really allowed me to sink my tenth into two enticing stories. I love the Billionaire Bodyguards, and this is a great way to immerse yourself in their world. So well woven- Via Mari is known for her superb romantic suspense stories and this book showcases that brilliantly. Again, she easily builds the tension and suspense to an all-time high, then throws in a massive amount of combustible chemistry- all the while balancing the intensity with lighter touching moments and heart-aching emotion. This book was such a struggle for me. I wanted to put it down so that I could savor the story, I wanted to binge read it because it was so good. I stayed up late, reading long after I should have been in bed. I had to leave all Kindle devices away so that I could focus on the other responsibilities of my life because I was so wrapped up in Kai & Taylor’s story, I knew that I would get nothing else done. Kai is a wonderful producer and very great at her job. With a smart mouth and her creative cussing, she was easy to related to. Taylor is the best at his job, which is secretive and nobody really knows what he does, unless he wants you to know. There is everything in this book. The romance, mystery, suspense. I have read several books by this author and this one just proves why I keep coming back! Their ability to create such a magnificent world with well-developed characters ranks them high on my list. The first story follows Damian and Bryanna who have page-turning chemistry that I couldn’t get enough of. A marvelously written romance filled to the brim with suspense and emotions. In the second story we get to know Dereck and Layla with plenty of steamy scenes thrown in. I loved all of the characters in both books, but my favorites were the phenomenal females! They were strong, independent, and ready to do whatever it takes to get through. I hope you’re ready to spend your weekend with them all because you won’t be able to put this one down. I highly recommend diving in!

This duet is an awesome read that I had a hard time putting down. The first book in this duet is Elusive. Alexis and Sheldon’s story is one you don’t want to miss out on. The second book in this Duet is called Tenacious and is Nick and Allie’s story. Both of these stories contain danger, action, strong men and women who have found themselves in a dangerous situation. I have loved everything I have read by this author and this series is no different. Each of these books are filled with great characters. I am kept at the edge of my seat while turning pages. I became completely invested in the outcome of these characters’ story. I know that everytime I pick up a book by this author I will not be disappointed. Every book in this series kept getting better. I am always intrigued by the story line and kept entertained throughout the entire book. I highly recommend reading this, and the entire series you will not regret it. I can’t wait to read my next book by this author.

Elusive Thank goodness Sheldon was there when Alexis was getting harassed by some crazy man in a coffee shop. Alexis didn’t realize then but, Sheldon was going to be around a lot. Luckily she’s a hair stylist and Sheldon needs one for one of his clients. This book was crazy. I can’t believe the stuff that happened in the book. Sheldon and his team are my hero’s! I need more books by this author soon
Tenacious was just so good. I have read a few books by this author but this has got to be my ultimate favorite. This author knows how to give the readers a perfect balance of heat and mystery. This book can be read as a stand-alone if you wanted to. I would recommend reading all the books in the series as they are all great reads.
This book focuses on Allie who is an ER nurse and is very good at her job. Nick is a bodyguard and Nick has other reasons for wanting to be the one to guard Allie. Nick keeps trying to break down Allie and get to the center of who she really is because of his own reasons. Allie is very attracted to Nick but, tries to keep her distance. This book has a lot of danger, traffickers, romance and action ( both good and bad kinds )
The book was written well, the characters are great and I think the story will definitely keep your attention as It did mine.

Elusive: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance (Billionaire Bodyguards Book 5) by Via Mari is one of my favourites. There is lots of explosive action and deadly suspense, danger, and secrets. I love the alpha hot and sexy men that go above and beyond to protect. They are sexy and charming, witty, and smouldering, dangerous and deadly.
Sheldon and the team have been assigned to protect Alexis when an extremely dangerous man sets his sight on her. It becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse because he will stop at nothing to get her and will go through anyone to get what he wants.
This is another hot and steamy read and a page turner from start to finish.
Tenacious is the sixth book in this titillating Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. This Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance story is steaming to the point of boiling and has left me wanting more. I have loved the other books in the series, but I think Via has outdone herself with this instalment. I always know I am in safe hands when I get one of Via’s books because her imagination knows no bounds and always gives us a story that has everything needed to make it explode of the page. It is only by sheer willpower that I refrained from turning each page quickly to get to find out what was in store.
Tenacious is indeed the right name for this book where these bodyguards are full of sexiness and alphaness that makes you want to hang on and enjoy the ride and what a ride. With plenty of action and adventure, lots of danger and mystery, buckets full of intrigue and drama, sex trafficking and bad guys, and woohoo, the chemistry and I am not talking about the type in a lab, you find yourself in need of a good stiff drink.
Emotions run rampant as we discover the subtleties that Via has hidden amongst her narrative over the course of the series and just what is in store for us next is anyone’s guess and that is just what I like about her work. Bring it on!

Elusive:Dark Millionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the fifth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is such a brilliant and intense series that somehow just seems to keep getting better. This book had everything going for it – amazing characters, strong chemistry and brilliant writing. It is fast paced and exciting from start to finish. The characters don’t have a typical start to their journey but it is one that hooked me immediately. Via Mari is an author I only discovered relatively recently but she has easily become one of my go to authors. Whenever I see a book with her name on it I don’t hesitate to give it a go and I am never disappointed. This is a fantastic series and one I would highly recommend! Tenacious: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the sixth book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is a fantastic series that just gets better with each book. This has easily become my favourite book in the series, although I’m sure that will only last for as long as it takes to read the next one. This book really is brilliant from start to finish. I love Sheldon, he was definitely book boyfriend material! I loved Sheldon for her dominance but Alexis was certainly one who could hold her own but the passion and sparks between them was off the charts! Their story is definitely a steamy one!! Fantastic read and highly recommended!!
Tenacious – Allie and Nick
Yet again another 5-star read from Ms Mari – absolutely love her books! Allie and Nick’s story was so captivating to read. I loved them both so much. Allie was a great female lead -strong, sassy and definitely independent! The chemistry between the two of these characters was scorching hot – I mean seriously hot! I think they are definitely my favourite couple from this series (and I have loved all the previous ones too)! There was so much going on in this story that I literally could not put it down and read it in one sitting! Ms Mari’s writing is so exciting to read, she brings her story to life on every single page and I adore her work. I cannot wait to read more from her in the future and I certainly recommend this 5-star book to other readers!

Auctioned Surrender is a duet that follows the similar story of her previous Sinful Duets. In the first book, Auctioned, it is the story of Damian and Bryanna. Damian is private security for very wealthy people looking for these individual’s niece. She was thought to be picked up for trafficking. Damian does end up finding her at a bar where Bryanna has become a stripper, but we quickly learn she is to be auctioned off due to her virginity. Throughout the story, Damian is attracted to her and that just grows when he end up capturing her himself to save her. She keeps trying to run away to save her family not realizing Damian can help. Will he be able to get her to understand in time that she doesn’t need to do this alone? Will the security company finally figure out who is behind all the trafficking? In the second book, Relentless, it is more of the same. Only this time, Dereck, who also works for the security company, is trying to get information from Layla, Bryanna’s friend. Layla also strips for the bar and Dereck believes she is the way to understanding the trafficking ring. The story starts with info already known from the last book, but now we get the details of the behind-the-scenes. In addition, Layla is on her own mission to find out who killed her cousin and took her sister. She believes it could be the trafficking ring. Dereck vows to protect her because he is very attracted to her, but he doesn’t realize that this sassy lady has a lot of secrets that can’t be disclosed. However, they start to work together and have a relationship to get her sister back. Will she become the submissive he is looking for or will her sass get her hurt? I always love a great mafia romance, but this is the second of the duets I have read and I am starting to feel it is more of the same. It is a continuous addition to the original story but with different leading men from the security team. I have no issue with these men or women characters, I always love a strong, protective, but gentle type, however, I just feel it is more of the same. All the men that work here apparently love the dominant/submissive BDSM lifestyle and all the girls are pretty much craving the submissive aspect too. Overall, the story and characters themselves were fine and a quick read (well each book is a quick read, but long as a duet). However, I am just a little tired of the same storyline and dynamic.

I loved this book. This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up. Her books pull you in and the characters are steamy and always bring the action. This book is no different. This is the fifth book in this series and I highly suggest reading it from the beginning, it will help your enhancement of this series. This is a well written story that has characters that bring the story to life on each page. They made the story fun and entertaining to read. I read this book in one sitting as it is that great. In this book we get to see Sheldon. He is a body guard that has been assigned to protect a woman from a trafficker. Alexis will put his skills to the test. What he did not expect was the attraction he felt for her. What happens next I highly recommend reading this book. It is worth the pick up!
Nick and Allie’s story
This is an author that I never hesitate to pick up and have read every one of her books. One of my favorite things about this author is her ability to bring the story to life on every page. Her writing skills and attention to details not only give her stories a realistic feel but she makes her characters pop. This book is no different. It is the sixth book in this series which I highly suggest reading all the previous books as they are that awesome. I loved being pulled into the story from the beginning as well as kept engaged to the end. This is a fast paced story that is full of action and romance. The characters are strong and connectable. They give life to the story. In this book we get to see Nick’s story and he is determined to break Allie’s walls down. But the big question remains, will he pick up those pieces? I loved their growth throughout the story. Their chemistry is hot and steamy and you don’t want to miss them. This is truly a great story that I loved and I can’t wait to see what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book and this author.

Having enjoyed the previous book in this series I was looking forward to this second novel which is two stories in one, great for binge reading! First is Damian and Bryanna’s story, not only is he connected with the mafia he’s also a wealthy bodyguard. His assignment should have been easy, find Bryanna who had been kidnapped by a global trafficking ring and take her home to her family, but Bryanna has offer plans. Bryanna has secrets and the trafficking ring have a hold over her which makes her fight Damian and even escape from him. However, as soon as he saw Bryanna, he knew she was going to be his and he will do anything to protect her. Dereck and Layla also meet whilst he’s on an assignment, she’s an exotic dancer who has links to the criminal underworld. When Layla is in danger, Dereck calls upon his mafia alliances to help keep her safe, as all it took was one look and she was going to be his. I was captivated by these two dark romantic suspense stories, and although the storylines have me on the edge of my seat, I like knowing that the couple will get a HEA. The chemistry between both couples is fiery and I love how their relationships develop throughout the story. An enjoyable and engaging duet and I look forward to book 3.

5 Stars Good Enough (The Deadman’s Tribe Series Book 1) by Nicole Craig
Good Enough is the first book in The Deadman’s Tribe Series and is a Romance Suspense that will have you turning the pages till the end. This is also this authors debut novel. The cover absolutely intrigued me so much I had to know what the story was. I’m a sucker for any kind of Military Romance and this one definitely checks all the boxes. The characters are developed and engaging and they made the story come to life. The twists and turns had me turning the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. Kai and Waters oh my these two have the sizzling chemistry between them and both are fighting it. Kai is a Hollywood director who enlists the helpfrom Tribe for the upcoming movies she is working on . It focuses on Navy Seal and she wants it to be as close to real life as possible. So with the help of Waters who will help in that area. There’s some danger lurking around can Waters keep Kai safe? I don’t want to give to much away so I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. Im eagerly waiting for the next book in this series.
