She just has a way of drawing you into the book from page 1. I enjoy how I was been pulled into the story. Malina and Tyler, both in the Navy SEALS. He happens to be her high school crush, but he is not the type to settle down. The story has some drama, suspense. Leaves you wanting to read the next one! It did not disappoint.

Auctioned: Dark Billionaire Mafia Romance by Via Mari is the third book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. This is yet another amazing book that I have read by this author. It is such a strong addition to the series. I loved the characters in this book. They had such a strong chemistry together and their connection felt relatable. I found myself wanting to read more about them. The story itself has been really well written. I was hooked right from the start and I just had to know how it was all going to then out. This book really does has a bit of everything you could want to make it fantastic. This is a brilliant series and one that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Hacker: The Mercenaries Series #2 by Nadine Travers
This isn’t the first book I’ve read by the author. Travers is an amazing author who keeps readers coming back. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.
Chris “Hacker” Montgomery had the best night of his life six months ago. Then she disappeared. No calls, emails, or anything. Now he’s in deep with her and is trying to keep her alive. Can he do it? The quote I chose for Hacker is: “I don’t know. I knew she was Italian, but I didn’t know she was part of that family. She introduced herself with a different name. I didn’t check into anything or look into her background. She was sexy as hell, and it was the one time I let my dick control my brain. I shouldn’t have.”
Marie Costa is the daughter of a Mafia king. When her life is put in danger she makes a phone call. Little does she know she’s not just involving Hacker, but the entire team. Her past is revealed and she’s not sure how he’ll handle it. The quote I chose for Marie is: “Why didn’t you say anything?”

Dunn does an amazing job tackling a serious subject in the midst of a contemporary romance. This series has been good but this installment is the most riveting to date for me. Sensitive to the subject matter, realistic, emotional – a real connection point with the main characters to the reader. You cared about the relationship and the backstory and the possible hea as well as the suspense that was at the heart of the plot. Really well written.

This is my 2nd book of this series and also by this author. I enjoyed the first one, but do believe this one is my pick so far. Still just a bit predictable for me, but definitely held my interest till the last page. The writing style has an easy flow making it an easy read to get lost in. I did find myself confused a few times but was able to get back on track pretty quick. I never connected strongly with Marie, I’m not sure why but something did bother me about her. I did like the humor that was spaced out throughout, and I did LOL a few times.
I did enjoy reading this and it absolutely can be read as a stand alone. I will be looking forward to the next one.
Secure Her is book four in the Chase Security series by R. L. Dunn. This author dabbles with a few delightful and attention grabbing events. It contains some BDSM, some drama, some mystery, some intrigue, some frustration, and lots and lots of chemistry and strong and vibrant personalities. An eclectic collection of characters with varied and colourful idiosyncrasies. I engaged immediately with the main characters, and was left gasping a lot of the time. The other times I felt intense contentment with the direction the story took, and the often suspenseful and dangerous road they travelled. Immensely riveting and cleverly written. Thoroughly fulfilled my raunchy cravings. 4 stars.

Zach is still coming to terms with losing an operative on a mission due to their personal relationship when he gets put onto a new case. Undercover female officers are showing up dead when as they are trying to infiltrate a human trafficking ring. Zach, who is known as Ice at the club he partially owns, must teach a new undercover to be a submissive in order to crack this case open. However, this Dom may be finding his personal feelings coming out to play with this Sub. Saoirse has been asked to come in on a new case when another undercover is found dead. One of the victims is her roommate from Quantico. When she finds herself paired up with Zach on the case, she could have never imagined how her life would change. She is not only able to discover her own desires in the bedroom, she finds herself falling for her Dom. However, personal feelings can be detrimental on a case like this. Can they keep the lines between personal and professional straight? I think the thing that made this book more interesting was the constant flashbacks and timeline from a victim’s point of view. I found myself having to set the book aside a time or two because it delves into some heavy topics. Like the other books in the series, I enjoyed the story and always find myself wanting more from the Chase Security world!

Auctioned is the third book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series by Via Mari. I have to stop being surprised by how much I love Via Mari writing. Every book I read always seems to keep me hanging on the edge till the last word. Damian and Bryanna’s story was nail-biting and super sexy that I want more from them.
Damian is hired to find Jenny’s niece, Bryanna but what he wasn’t expecting was mixing business with pleasure. And Bryanna will do anything to save her family even being auctioned off to the highest bidder.
Like every story, there were characters that I can’t wait to get a closer look at and returning ones that I needed an update on. I need more info on Bryanna’s brother (please!).

Can Zach keep his feelings under wrap and help Saoirse learning the ways of a Dom/Sub relationship because if this fails, she may become the next victim in this uncover op.
Zach has always had a dominant streak from when he first discover sex and relationships, over the past couple of years he has been looking for a new submissive to play with. When his job in Chase security being critical, but a new assignment comes close to blurring the lines between professional and personal.
Saoirse is determined to bring down the human trafficking ring which has already claimed uncover police woman. When she recruits the help of Chase Security the only man who can help is Master Ice, Zach Wentworth. While they are training she becomes further and further into the lifestyle and discovers more about herself than she maybe prepared to acknowledge.
I have read the first three books and knew what I was getting with this book and it did not disappoint. This story was hard hitting and the subject matter was brilliantly weaved through and I’m glad that Zach has been given his own story. The relationship between the two of them was brilliant watching the dance that the story weave through was a thrilling read.
I loved the fact that Saoirse was an intelligent, smart person within her role in the District Attorney where she is in a relatively male dominant world so she had to be the balls to the wall woman. So when she meets Zach she starts to understand that although in her job she is in charge in her sexual life she wanted to relinquish the power and her pleasure to someone else and learning this for the role she will have to play going forward.
The way the characters develop the relationship was a brilliant read and well developed story, I enjoyed the story from the first word till the last. Although it is part of a series each book can be read as a stand alone book, I can’t wait to read the next instalment within this series.

I enjoyed this story. This is the third book in this series which I would highly suggest reading the previous two books. This is an author I have enjoyed from the first book I picked up of hers. I enjoy being pulled into the story and her attention to details make you feel part of the story. This book is no different. It is a well developed story that is full of action and romance. This is about one night of drinking and letting down your guard to fall for a hot, steamy Navy Seal. Will he be able to save her as she is accused of treason? They are great, relatable characters that I fell in love with. They made the story for me. I highly recommend this book and this author.

This is the second book in The Mercenaries Series. It is also the first book I have read so they don’t need to be read in order for them to be enjoyed. I loved the mix of danger and romance in this book. Also the mix of hard protective men along side a strong independent woman works well.
Marie is the daughter of a mafia families. Her father has made an arranged marriage between her and the boss of another mafia group in hope to keep peace between the families. Marie knows if this happens she will end up dead. So she runs to the only man she know can help Hacker.
Hacker works for an organisation that helps people in secret. He met Marie 6 months earlier and their connection was instant but when she ups and leaves one morning with no word and doesn’t get in touch Hacker starts to fear the worst until Marie gets in touch again.
Is Marie just using Hacker to escape her life? Why did she disappear with no contact 6 months earlier? Can Hacker and his friends save Marie and her sister from the mafia war thats gonna happen?
This novella is a great start to a new series. I love how you get the backstory on the characters especially the female character, Braelynn. Novella is a quick read, but definitely worth it. Love the story with suspense, secrets and the mafia family including forbidden love. I definitely wanted more and keep reading and I am looking forward to reading more of this series to see how the story keeps unfolding. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 in my book!

Secure Her by R.L Dunn is the 4th book in the Chase Security series and this one is not for the feint hearted as it touches some triggering topics. The story revolves around Zach and Saoirse who are investigating the disappearance and brutal deaths of hundreds of young women, when evidence starts to show that it may be linked to the BDSM, Zach and Saoirse go undercover into the lifestyle. This book invoked so many emotions and I don’t think I have had such a strong hatred for a bad guy in a long time, The character of The Master was just evil and I found myself rooting for the main characters throughout. There are some scenes that made me want to cry, scream and shout but that is testament to how well written this book is, this was the best one in the series so far.

Being the fourth book in The Chase Security Series from RL Dunn I personally recommend that you start at the beginning with book one before jumping into Secure Her. These books do only get better with each one so you can’t lose either way. I have really enjoyed reading this series and this one was no different. I will say it has some triggering moments in it that I felt the author handled very well with grace and kept it realistic as well. We get Zak’s, the head of the Domestic Law Unit with Chase Security, story in this novel. I really enjoyed his female interest and client, Saoirse and really felt for her so much. This book is fast paced and will keep you reading to find out how it all comes together well into the night. I cannot wait to see who we meet and follow in the next!

Oh I could not wait to get my hands on this book! It is the second of The Mercenaries series and the first really drew me into the hot romance and suspense that it gave and left me wanting more. This one does quite the same, keeping you on the edge of your seat as you wait and see what could come next. It completely draws you into the drama and suspense and leaves you fanning yourself with the underlying romance aspects. I was completely engrossed and read it in one evening. Hacker is a complex character and we see that as he tries to help the woman he is in love with. As for details you won’t find them here, not any more than what the blurb provides because that would spoil the thrill of this read in my opinion. Trust me you won’t be disappointed if you one-clicked, and will want the first book if you haven’t read that one either. I can’t wait to see what will come next!
She’s gone and done it again!! Honestly, Amy McKinley’s writing will never get boring to me. I have read all the books in the Deadly Isles Special Ops series and I could not wait to read this one as well.
I love the way McKinley links all the characters in this series and references to characters from the other books within each one. Reading Twisted Secrets and Bound by Secrets and seeing his brothers lives work out and the happiness they had, I was dying to know what Tyler’s story was and who he would end up with and I was in no way disappointed.
This story was – once again – jam packed with everything you could possibly want in a book. It was, action packed, steamy, cute, scary. Every emotion you could think of and McKinley makes you feel it. I found this story particularly gripping due to Malina’s circumstances and the last few chapters of action. There weren’t quite as many shocking twists in this story as the others in the series, but I didn’t mind that at all because the writing and the character development was enough to captivate me throughout. I really couldn’t put this book down and I will definitely be re-reading this entire series at some point.
I hope there will be another book in this series where we can find out what happens next for Xander, Jaxon and Tyler because I love these characters and could read about them all day!

Do you want a story that makes you not want to put it down? How about stay up reading late into the night? THIS is that book! It took me on a ride of ALL of my emotions and I loved the charcTers for all their difference and strengths. Every once in a while a book comes along that just touches me..this is it.
I was hesitant at first because of the whole Dom/sub storyline. That is not something I care to read about. I was wrong. This author did an outstanding job of showing part of this lifestyle. The rest of the book has suspense, drama and action
Zack! You are one of a kind! Devoted, smart and sexy. I loved everything about you! You impressed me with you heart and soul. I could really *feel* the connection you and your treasure. While at times I hated what you both went through..the connection between you gives everyone hope.
Saoirse…Dang Girl! You are strong and resilient! I hated but loved reading your story.
Overall this is my favorite book I have read by this author. She had great follow through on all storylines and characters. I was impressed by this book and it left me feeling happy.

Secure Her is the fourth instalment in the Chase Security series by R.L Dunn. This is a romantic suspense, with BDSM elements, drama, danger, emotion, steamy chemistry, human trafficking, and undercover operatives . As expected from Ms. Dunn, the story is really well developed- with fantastic characters, gripping scenes, and the palpable tension and suspense that I have come to expect from her work. The human trafficking, and undercover mission made for an un-put-down-able read! Zach is just getting back into the swing of things after losing a fellow operative in a failed mission. He is riddled with guilt and the weight of the loss is a heavy load to bear. He never wants to be put in that situation ever again. But with a human trafficking ring to take down, he is going to have to subdue his inner demons to have any chance of succeeding. A great addition to the series!

So this is the first book I’ve read by this author and I read this as a standalone which although it’s number two in a series it can be read as a standalone. So usually I have an issue with standalone that I feel like there’s a huge gap missing as I didn’t read the first book but this book didn’t suffer from that at all which I was thankful for. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters, the story kept me interested and hooked and I couldn’t wait to finish it. The book has some humour which was good in the moments we needed and romance and steamy moments. Really enjoyed this.

Four Stars
I think steam was coming out my ears while I was reading this story. I could feel there desire through the first pages. Zach lost so much and yet he couldn’t keep his need for a sub at bay. But the guilt was too much. Saoirse is a very strong woman who happens to be naïve about love. While reading this story I noticed that Saoirse clashed with herself a lot. With who she portrayed herself to be and who she felt she wasn’t. I liked how the author put the plot together. It had a nice flow to it. There wasn’t a moment that you were not engaged. I felt the characters had developed nicely. Not my first book by this author and certainly not my last. This series is amazing and tied together by the need to protect those who can’t protect themselves.

He is not willing to let her go. Marie Costa is a beautiful young lady, she has raised her sister and followed her father’s demands. But enough is enough! Will he be able to keep his head about him? Will Marie get the help she needs? What about the mafia kings? Who gets the girls?
Nadine Travers has written this non stop action story. This is one of those books that will keep you engaged and reading. The emotional highs and lows, along with the fighting for freedom is what this story holds. Nadine Travers writes her women to be strong, while very frightened, yet they still show some grit. You can’t help but love the characters. Hacker and Marie are both strong willed. But you will also love Tank and the other Mercenaries as they help out Marie. I can’t wait for the next installment. Auctioned by Via Mari a feisty four-star read. This is number three in the Billionaire Bodyguards series, and just like the first two this is steamy and seductive. This was a great story and has so much push and pull and Bryanna and Damien both have fierce protective instincts, and that can sometimes lead to explosive action. There is some great chemistry in this one, and some great thought put into the worries of the characters, they feel deep and complex and add something to the story.

Hacker a suspenseful four-star read. This is number two in the Mercenaries series, I haven’t read number one but didn’t feel like I was missing anything from the previous story. This had action a plenty and drama was definitely a foot, there was some romance and sizzle, but it wasn’t the be all and end all. Fast paced through this story and has enough characters that you are kept interested but not enough that you get lost. Marie and Hacker will make you care and want to know more about them.

Secure Her by R.L. Dunn is the fourth book in the Chase Security Series. This can be read as a standalone story but has recurring characters from other books in the series. This book is focused on Zach and Saoirse. The two end up making a dynamic pair but are faced with all sorts of danger before getting there. When the two are involved in figuring out a human trafficking ring a lot of dangerous situations occur. Will Zach be able to get Saoirse through to the other side of this situation safely? I have enjoyed this series but this book really has a lot of twists to it which added to the thrill of Zach and Saoirse meeting and having to work together. I look forward to reading more in this series and from this author in the future.

Chris “Hacker” Montgomery devotes his life to his computer and his teammates. Marie Costa is part of the mafia family in Montreal. This is the second book in the Mercenaries series. It is romantic suspense. It’s full of action, suspense and strong characters. You are pulled right into the story and the author really just doesn’t let go. It is a well written book and really is a great addition to the series. You can read it as a standalone but I do think it’s better to read the first book before hand.

This is the four book in the series. The author still impress me with her writing style. She pays alot of attention to detail. Saoirse was not what I expected and this character drew on me as time went up in the book.

Auctioned is the third book in the Billionaire Bodyguards series. It can be read as a standalone. Great read with some action, suspense, danger, and, of course, romance. Even though this book has the requisite steamy bits, I liked the story line more. It’s a fast-paced tale so it’s easy to get sucked in and read it all in one sitting. Some readers may find the subject matter sensitive in nature.
