Hawks Cry ( Satan’s Devils MC – Next Generation Book 2) by Manda Mallett 4 Stars!!!! Another journey into the Satan’s Devils MC and I was not disappointed. I really found that the author does such a great job of keeping the flow between the books. I was glued to my chair to see how the drama would play out.
Hawk and Olivia’s journey is so full of emotions and drama. I really like how the author delves into the world of depression. It really makes one really drawn to Hawk and his plight. I really like how the author brings in all the emotions of Olivia and how it isn’t just the sufferer who is hurting but those around them as well. I also like how the author balances out with the drama. I look forward to reading more from this author and this series in the future.
What an excellent book which takes you on a huge rollercoaster. Hawk is in a hige predicament he wants out of the mc but it’s not that simple you can’t just hang you hat up and leave, plus this is family and all he knows how and will he get out!? Also to top it off his wife who is pregnant and stick by his side has no idea he doesn’t open up to her will he tell her how he’s feeling? This is a brilliant addition to the series full of emotion it will have you laugh and smile but also pull on your heart strings it is 100% worth a read!!!

I really enjoyed the story! First off I love coming back to visit all these characters! In typical Satan Devils fashion we go on a journey through the ups and downs with these two. The story is filled with characters we know and love. Hawk and Olivia are already married so I wondered where this one would lead me. Hawk saddened and frustrated me then shocked me. His thoughts and feeling were WOW! Olive is a born and raised Princess of the Satan’s Devils. She has no desire to ever leave and is happy living amongst family and friends. But her husband has changed and she worries about his well being. She is a old lady through and through, Tough and she stands by her man.
I love how the author took old main characters and made them secondary characters. I love still seeing them but not in the spotlight. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy reading anything that had them in it. But I also enjoyed reading about their kids and their life now.
Overall this is a good story with an inside look at marriage life with a high ranking officer. I always enjoy these characters and look forward to more. This author does a great job making me love these characters then knocking me down just to pick me back up.

Hawk’s Cry is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation seriesby Manda Mellett. I have read all the Satan’s Devils books from the original right through to this second generation series- and have loved them all. This series follows children of characters we’ve come to know and love in the previous series. so, having said that, I highly recommend reading the previous series before embarking on this one- as I think there is a lot of background information, character details, and relationship insights that are revealed in those books- which if you knew, would definitely give you a better understanding and appreciation of this book. This is a contemporary MC romance story, and as such it is full of bikers, suspense, sensitive topics, comradery, action, drama, emotion, and more. It did take me a little while to ‘get into’ this story and connect with the characters- I wasn’t sure I would at one point- then something changed and I was there- hook, line, an sinker. Hawk’s story really pulled at my heartstrings. Gave my emotions one heck of a workout and had me twisted up inside. Another brilliant addition to the series!

I’m going to admit this: this is not a series I would have picked for myself. The genre is not one of my top picks, but it was recommended and I thought I would give it a try. I started with the first generation and with each book I am amazed at how how good and unique each book is. As many books as have been written in this series, I am constantly amazed at how each and every character is different but still interesting and how each story is so unique. In the beginning of this book, I was screaming at the other characters that there was more going on with Hawk. I don’t usually get emotional over books, but this one made me feel so much. The struggle they go through, plus the other things going on, really make you want to keep reading until you finally get to the end. It is so much more than a simple motorcycle club romance– this book really gets you in the heart and pulls for all it’s worth.

Hawk’s Cry: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #2 by Manda Mellett caught me completely by surprise. I thought I was getting a typical MC novel, but was pleasantly surprised. This story was about Hawk, or Eli, and his struggles. Hawk is VP of the Satan’s Devils MC, married to the love of his life, and has a child on the way. But he starts having doubts, is this really what he wants out of his life or was he just bred for this? Being a spitting image of his father, the ex-president of the club, it was always assumed Hawk would follow in his father’s footsteps. Maybe citizen life is better, where he can have a life of his own. But if he leaves, he will never be able to come back.
This story was refreshing to read. Though it dealt with some heavy content, I think it is important to bring light to mental health issues that everyone deals with. Depression and panic attacks do not discriminate and many times people don’t know how to rationally cope with these issues. Hawk began doubting himself, his life, and his choices. He didn’t know if he could live up to pressure and thought the only way to fix them was to get out. This story was a wonderful read and I look forward to reading other books by this author.

Hawks Cry by Manda Mellett is the second book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series. This is a fantastic book and is such a brilliant addition to an already amazing series. I honestly cannot rave about this series enough. Each book I read I wonder how she will do any better and with each book she pulls it out of the bag! The characters in this book are just outstanding. They are some of the most relatable characters I have read about in a long time! I was sucked into their story and could have read about them for days. Their journey was so emotional and had such a depth to it. I enjoyed every single second of it! This is only the second book in this spin off series and I really cannot wait to read whatever comes next.

I LOVE this author! I don’t even bother reading the blurbs for her books now I just grab it and read and I have to say out of the many, many books of hers that I’ve read this one is definitely up there with my favourites! I loved every single emotional moment of it. It was an exciting read from the very beginning and I loved Hawk and Olivia! Their story was heartbreakingly beautiful and I felt every emotion that they did. The one thing I love about this author is how she differentiates all of her characters, she has so many but they are all different but there is one thing that she does well with all of them and that is bringing their emotions to the forefront of the story and making you as the reader feel exactly what they characters are feeling. This is one of the many reasons why I will always pick up one of Ms Mellett’s books because I know in going to fall hard for the characters! Hawk’s Cry is a beautifully written story that I 100% recommend!

I have never had a negative experience reading anything from Manda Mellett and this second novel of the second generation in the Satan’s Devils MC is no exception to the rule.I would recommend that you go and start with book one but I do believe that it could be read as a standalone. I sincerely feel these stories flow together so well though that you couldn’t go wrong following the series as it is laid out. I can’t ever say enough good things about how strong and skilled Mellett is at weaving emotion into her stories in a way that will have you breathless. I just love the characters that we have all grown to love and get small snippets in these books and we see how the world has changed for them. This novel gives us the story of Hawk and Olivia and these two will definitely steal you off of your feet. I couldn’t put this novel down until I had consumed it all and found out how things would turn out for these two. They really show the strength love can be for us and the amazing things that can come of it. I can’t wait to see what will come next in this series and all the other series I have fallen in love with from Manda Mellett!

This is the story of Eli who is the VP for the Satan’s Devils MC and he’s been married to his long time love and they are expecting a baby soon. Eli has the perfect life, or so it seems so why is he unhappy and wanting more? Why does he think he’s missing out on something in life that there is more out there? Liv is doing everything she can to support and trust him but she is also pregnant trying to take care of herself and with Eli shutting her out its so hard. I could relate to the story sooo much because after being married for 24 years you can relate with Eli but you also feel for Liv. The author had me gripped from page one with this novel, which is book four in Sims’s ‘Moore Family Saga’ series. I read this as a standalone story and thoroughly enjoyed it but I would personally recommend reading this series in order as the characters have all been introduced in previous books and you would appreciate the story better. Having said that I adored the fascinating characters especially the two main characters Bella Wahlberg and her fiancé and soon to be husband, performer extraordinaire and music mogul, Miles “Ari” Moore. I loved the relationship the two had and how they have to overcome the many obstacles throughout this novel and their steamy chemistry sizzled off the page. This was a romance with added drama and a background of spectacular scenery, from Miles and Bella’s wedding in Scotland, to their honeymoon in Paris and then Italy. I look forward to reading the previous books in the series and any future ones.

I loved this book. This is a series I have read from the beginning and each book just keeps getting better and better. This author continues to impress me with each book she writes which keeps me coming back to her. I highly suggest reading all of the books in this series to get to know each character. The characters bring heart and action to the story and make it feel realistic. This installment is about what happens when you start questioning if there is something better out there. Do you go after it, giving up everything and finding out or do you realize what you have is all you want? This is a fast paced story that I read in one sitting, a real page turner. I highly recommend reading this book and this author.

It is a story that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is the story of the VP of the Satan’s Devil’s MC. While looking at him he seems to have it all, family, friends, the club. What happens when he thinks that there is something better outside the club? Will he leave the club? Read this book to find out. I love reading books about MC clubs and this story is an example of why. The way the story is written I felt like I was right there with the characters. This book also had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I found myself turning pages and wondering what was going to happen next. Besides the VP of the club, there are many other characters that I enjoyed reading about. Don’t miss out on an entertaining story and a wonderful read. I highly recommend it.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I was hooked. I absolutely love a good musician romance but this author exceeded all my expectations. This is the fourth book of the Moore Family Saga. I have only read this story and now I have to go back from the start. I could not help but to fall in love with these characters right from the beginning. It only took me a couple of hours to devour this amazing story.
Bella is finally marrying the man of her dreams. She is so happy that she has her family by her side in Scotland. Bella is so excited to be Mile’s wife. She quickly realized with his ex’s, crazy fans and his tour that this new life was going to be hard. Bella starts to feel like she is losing herself in this crazy new life. She is starting to self doubt herself due to all the people around her. Will Bella be able to find her way in this new life or will she realize that she is not cut out for this life at all no matter the cost?

I have read all the books in the Moore Family saga and I have loved them all, but I think this book is my favorite even if I hated the ending. I can’t wait to read the next part in this series. The characters are amazing, and the plot is awesome.

I suggest reading the other books before this one so you have a full understanding of all the characters involved. No, it is not necessary but it will help. A Moore Affair is the fourth book in the Moore FamilySaga by Michele Sims. This is the first book I have read by Michele Sims, I couldn’t couldn’t resist the cover of this book, so beautiful. However I’m now going back and reading the first three books in this series. This book flowed well and the characters are well developed and relatable. Bella and Ari have quite the chemistry and this book is full of action, adventure and passion. The twist and turns had me reading long after my bedtime. I have read quite a few books by Ms. Mellett and I have loved them from the beginning her books just get better and better. The characters are strong and well written. The plot was awesome we even get to see the other couples that we met in the first few books. While serving as a Marine, Vanna’s husband Mace survived an explosion that took out the transport he was travelling in. He lived but suffered a traumatic brain injury which wiped his memory. What do you do when your husband doesn’t recognize you or his young son? What if living together is doing neither of you any favors? After two years of trying and they still weren’t more than strangers, I accepted defeat and we parted. Now our son, Cas has grown into an unruly teenager, getting into trouble and needing a father’s guiding hand. Vann is at her wits’ end, so she set out to find his dad, hoping after all these years, he might have his memory back, or at least, be persuaded to play some part in the life of the son he didn’t accept he had. Mace is a confirmed bachelor, so when Lizard told him about a girl wanting her ‘Property of’ tat removed. Putting a patch on someone has meaning in our world. Before they cover it up, they need to discover who had claimed her as theirs. But when they found out who’d put their name on her back, he was one of the first to offer his protection to her, and the kid she brought along with her. I think I probably say it every time that I read a new book by this author but this is definitely my favourite by her so far! I was hooked from beginning to end and I honestly could not turn the pages fast enough! The action starts straight away in this fantastic romantic suspense story! I loved the characters Keegan and Kara! The sparks between these two as well as the danger and action unfolding in their surroundings of Venezuela made for one very exciting read! Marked for Death could be read as a standalone but I absolutely would recommend reading the series in order just to fully understand the dynamics of the secondary characters. Apart from the amazing characters this author creates I just totally love her writing, it’s exciting and captivates me from the first word. I would 100% recommend Marked for Death and anything written by this wonderful author!

The tattoo is a property of tattoo which means she belongs to someone but since the tattoo was given unwillingly to this woman they agree to help which leaves the brothers and the woman and her child vulnerable to attack. Mace takes it upon himself to help and protect her but will he be able to do that.
These books keep getting better and better. Each book is an amazing read.

Michele Sims wrote this page turner. I felt like I was in Scotland watching this wedding develop and take place. Her description of the things going on, just puts you into this story. I fell in love with her characters, and the places they visited. But more importantly was the communication between the two. Let’s not forget the emotional feelings going on in this story. I have enjoyed following this series and hope for more to come.

Marked for Death is the 6th (and possibly last…sob sob) book in the brilliant Gray Ghost series by Amy McKinley. This has become one of my favourite book series’ ever and Marked for Death is another excellent book to add to the series. Like all the others in this series this book gripped me from the very beginning and left a very tight grip until the very end. Amy McKinley sure knows how to write a romantic thriller. In this book the Gray Ghost guys travel to Caracas to rescue four Americans. What they assume will be an easy rescue turns out to be anything but. In the attempt, one of the operatives Keegan Hunt comes face to face with Kara Medina, a beautiful operative from his past life in Caracas that he’s tried to forget. What transpires is a fantastic story filled with danger, tension, suspense and a bit of romance. The story line flows really well and is action packed. You will be gripped from the very beginning and taken on a fantastic journey that will bring out every emotion and have you gasp in amazement or horror when McKinley throws in a curveball that you do not see coming. I also loved that we got to see the other couples from previous book as all have a role to play in the Gray Ghost company. I’m sad that this series is likely over but I’m sure that the little taster McKinley gave us in the novella Moonlit Mirage is the start of another fascinating series by her that I’ll devour just as much as this one.

I was so excited to see another book in this series – after all I loved the first 3 and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it! It was as I expected another amazing read and well worthy of 5 stars! This is the fourth book in this series and I feel they should be read in order to fully understand the dynamics of the characters. Through everything in this series the one thing that has always come through is the importance of family. I love Bella and Miles and their wedding day is finally upon them. They do genuinely love each other but their new life together certainly seems to be throwing some obstacles in their way. Again the authors writing had my attention from the beginning, I easily read the story in one sitting I just couldn’t put it down. Another wonderful read from Ms Sims! As always I look forward to reading more from her again in the future!

A Moore Affair is the fourth Book in the Moore Family Saga by Michele Sims. I really recommend reading the previous three books before starting on this one to help you fully appreciate the characters and understand what’s going on in this story. Miles and Bella are getting married. Even though they love each other, is she really prepared for what’s to come? With secrets and obstacles to overcome, their story is worth reading to discover if their love and relationship will survive it all. Well written and enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.

Marked For Death is the sixth exciting instalment in the Gray Ghosts series by Amy McKinley. Once again, Ms. McKinley has upped the ante with this story. The series continues to get better and better with each new release. This is everything I expected, and more- a wonderfully exciting romantic suspense, with special ops military action, violence, danger, drama, intrigue, emotion, twists, romance, mystery, and adventure. This book could be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading the first five books so you have all the backstories for all the characters, background information, and other important details- as that will greatly enhance your reading experience here. Not to mention the other five books are really fantastic stories in their own rights! I always say, you really can’t go wrong with Ms. McKinley at the helm! There’s a very good reason why Keegan Hunt has avoided Venezuela for the past 15 years. But with a lot at stake, this latest mission sees him risking his cover by returning. The operation throws up unexpected complications, especially in the form of Kara Medina- with whom he has a bit of a complicated history. The mission goes awry and Kara might be the key to solving their problem. But at what cost? Another ‘edge of your seat’, engrossing and gripping read- with all the intensity, sparks, chemistry, tension, and dramatic developments I have come to expect from Ms. McKinley! Fantastic!

A Moore Affair by Michele Sims was a great novel! This was the 4th book in a series, and I have not previously read the others before I read this one. You don’t have to read the other first, but I would recommend it so you aren’t thrown off like past events like I was a little bit. This book had a great story line and characters. I was a little thrown though, cause the timelines weren’t clear cut, and when the characters talked it was a little difficult to figure out who was talking to whom. I enjoyed this book though and can’t wait to read the others in the series in the future!

A Moore Affair (Moore Family Saga Book 4) by Michele Sims. Th is is the 4th book in the Moore Family Saga and it is a great read. Its the story of Bella Wahlberg who is on top of the world . She is finally getting to marry the love of her life Miles “Ari” Moore who is a music mogul. Bella and Ari love each other completely but Bella is finding out being in love with a “superstar” entails a lot more than she expected. After their wedding and while on their honeymoon Bella is finding there is a totally different look to their public life and their personal life. Ari’s ex stalker is crazy and always creating drama and Bella has always been a very strong and confident woman but she is now even questioning herself. When certain things try to force them apart will they be strong enough to survive? I love this series and can’t wait for the next book!
