Irresistible Bond is a romance suspense novel by Victoria Saccenti. It is book 5 of the Central Florida Stories Series and can be read as a stand-alone. Marcus, Storm, and Barrington are childhood best friends. As children they were inseparable but Storm is preparing to begin her dream job with the DEA. Of course, this happens just as things start to heat up with the trio and they find themselves wanting to explore a different side to their bond. This book was very interesting and layered. The storytelling is rich and emotional. The bond between the cousins, Marcus and Barrington, and their “princess” Storm is very strong. This author provides a richer experience than was expected. There are some trigger warnings but it is worth the read.

Storm, Marcus and Barrington were inseparable when they were young, although the attraction was there between all three of them they decide one night to delve into the chemistry. Although they loved each other with Marcus and Barrington being from a wealthy family, Storm was always seen as below them in there family circles.
One night Storm hears what there families truly think of her and she then decides to pursue her career within the DEA leaving the cousins to live there lives. Roll on four years later and when a operation goes wrong Storm is left with emotional and physical scars to recover from but when she is home Marcus and Barrington show up and restore faith in Storm slowly with there love and patience.
Can they make it work and can Storm trust the two cousins with her heart?
This is the fifth book in this series and although this is a series, this book can be read as a stand alone although there are some over laps with the previous books you can follow the story easily.
I loved the chemistry and relationships between all three of the main characters and the love they have for each other jumps of the page. There are some trigger topics with the scenes when Storm is held captive but this adds to the story and how remarkable the character of Storm is to try and overcome the experiences.
I have always liked Marcus and Barrington from the previous stories but they just are cemented more and more in my heart after sticking up for Storm with there family and living their lives they way they want to is just refreshing to read. The chemistry jumps off the page and the story is intense and flows brilliant which will have you staying up all night finishing this brilliant story.
I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book was not what I expected it to be. It follows Lea’s story loosely but catches the highlights of what really seem to shape her. I spent a lot of time thinking that I knew what was coming, only to be surprised it didn’t take the turn that I expected it to. There were also moments where I thought the story was wrapping up, only to be pleasantly surprised that it kept going. I found it interesting that someone so young and sheltered could speak so easily to thousands of people. While there are a lot of political points made, I did not find them divisive which is refreshing. All in all, it was a good read for the times that we are in.

This has been an amazing series to read so far. This is Marcus, Storm & Barrington’s story. It is intense. I found myself feeling all the emotions as I went through this story. This story is definitely spicy. It’s also got action and drama. There’s a lot going on. Some familiar faces from Club Nexus pop in and make an appearance. This is an amazing story. This is one of those that I by her stories because I know they will always fascinate.

OOMG!! This book is S.T.E.A.M.Y! Storm, Marcus and Barrington were inseparable growing up. Cousins Marcus and Barrington were from a very wealthy family, and Storm’s parents were immigrants who worked hard for their money. Storm broke up their group by going off to become a DEA agent. Unfortunately before leaving Storm learns how the cousin’s family felt about her. Storm rushes off before the cousins can stand up for her honor. Fast forward four years, Storm is undercover with the DEA when she becomes a captive on a mission to bring down Colombian drug lords and goes desperately wrong. She endures torture that leaves her on the brink of death but she has her love for Marcus and Barrington that has helped to keep her alive. After being moved to another location Storm tries to map her escape but just hours after her arrival at her new location gun fire engulfs the silence of the evening. Once rescued by a fellow DEA agent Storm must heal from not only her wounds from the beating but being shot. Storm gets cleared to leave the hospital and all she can think about is Marcus and Barrington but she can’t bring herself to reach out to them. But the boys don’t take long to arrive at her parent’s house. Hoping to pick up right where they left off that night four years ago, the boys have big dreams for Storm. Only if Storm is willing to allow her desire to be fulfilled. I did not read the other books in this series but I will be reading the other books! I was hooked from the start and it was not what I was expecting. I thought it would follow Storm’s life in the DEA more. However, I loved every single page of this book!!

Secrets, Lies and Betrayals was a pretty packed book. It was not at all what I expected- I don’t typically read the synopsis of books, I go off the title and cover art. This book started out intense, then fell into a bit of a romance story, then ended intense again. It all came together nicely, but I was having a hard time matching the cover to what was going on- then it all falls into place about 3/4 of the way through the book. I see this is going to be a series, which I am happy for. But I am a little thrown off that its a first boo, and a Maxwell Cole novel. While Max did play a vital role, he was not the main character. Secondarily, I hoped the author built on the Conte more- I thought, and kind of hoped, the story would go his direction and turn into a bit of a mafia type story. But, I did enjoy it. I want to know more about Charlie. As it seemed like there was a backstory there, on how Lea knew him. So while I enjoyed the book a lot, there was a lot of dots that I felt weren’t connecting for me. Perhaps the next book will tie those up.

This was a great 5 star read. This author continues to pull me in with her books. This one certainly did not disappoint. If you like 2nd chance romance with some very steamy moments then you will enjoy this book and series. Storm, Barrington, and Marcus have a history. When it’s made very clear Storm isn’t good enough she takes off for a while, when she returns things change quickly. Barrington and Marcus don’t plan on losing her again. Overall I really enjoyed this book. All of the characters were great. We get several twists and turns that added a great element to the story. I can’t wait to read more from this author and series. You can read the books in the series as stand alones but I suggest reading from book one. 1-click and get started today.

Woah, this isn’t what I was expecting in the slightest. It was like watching a train wreck, not because the writing was bad, just that it was so dark and twisted but I couldn’t pull away from it. The beginning had me very unsure but as I kept reading I was hooked and had to know what was going to happen next. It was cool to get different POV throughout this story, even from the killers side. Cole bothered me at first but ended up being a good guy who went through a lot as he grew up. Emma irritated me to no end with how she wouldn’t take no as an answer and kept trying to sabotage things to get to Cole. Maya was staying in a rich community as a nanny where everyone was fake and plastic but her. She had multiple men drawn to her because she was genuine but she quickly grew feelings for Cole. Cole does whatever he can to win her over and protect her from “X” but who will save who in the end? This was a suspenseful and spicy read, and I would love to read more from this author.

Irresistible Bond is Book 5 of the Central Florida Stories series and wow….the roller coaster that this book took me on…edge of my seat. The emotional pull between Storm, Marcus and Barrington was truly undeniable….D/s/D, spicy, connection, danger, greed, drama….but the emotional toll that Storm went through as a DEA agent and the trauma… This story definitely has its triggers, but it was a great story.
Storm grew up knowing Marcus and Barrington and having a strong bond, they were inseparable. All grown up, Marcus and Barrington both desire to be with Storm. What an amazing suspenseful romance “Secrets, Lies and Betrayals” was, it had me up late reading every night for the last few days it was that good! This was Lynn Wood’s first book I’ve ever read, and I must say I am a huge fan from the first page. Not only does the suspense start right from the beginning, but it has you sucked in with the shock of what happens to our main character, Lea (Michaela) at such a young age. What a realistic tragedy this story takes you through, from the hidden identity to the security detail, you will grow to feel such remorse as you follow Lea along her path to self-discovery and figuring out who she is. This book has a plot that just continually grows more and more intense, you’ll be questioning who you can trust and who may be out for their interests, not caring who may be hurt by the outcomes. I am so excited to read the next book in this series, coming out later this month. Max is such an amazing protector, he’s caring, and so amazing at his job, you will grow to love his character from the second you meet him as he works to protect and care for Lea throughout her life. OH MY GOD!! If you are looking for a steamy page-turner, this is your series!! Sylvan is a hopeless romantic author who is all roses and pure innocence. Sylvan is doing research for a new book she is writing. When she was introduced to TB they formed a bond through online chatting. The two agree to meet at a local club to further Sylvan´s research hands-on. Unfortunately for Sylvan, her past is about to come rushing back. When panic overcomes Sylvan there is only one person she can trust, Kai. When Sylvan finally comes out of shock she is faced to face with TB. Once you start this book you won’t stop, I had a hard time outing this down. This was a very intriguing and suspenseful books that had me turning pages like my life was in danger. This book was filled with so much from mystery, suspense, romance, and just about everything but of course vampires not included. This book gave me that feeling that I was right there beside every single character, the feeling you get from them is that you have known them for a long time, like longtime friends. They are very well written, and you almost get that feeling of no, they couldn’t have done it, or did they? The way this book was written it was like you’re in there riding along with everyone, that feeling like you’re the fly on the wall. This was a great mystery that had me constantly second guessing myself. I highly recommend this book but be warned you will not be able to put it down till you read the whole thing.

This is one of the top reads of the year for me, without a doubt! This is the first book I have read by this author and since finishing it, I have picked up more of their work. The cover drew me in, and I didn’t even have to finish the synopsis before I picked it up. I dove straight into the book when I got home and was gripped from the first page of the prologue! Psychological thrillers are one of my favorite genres, so it’s a challenge to catch me off-guard. This story had so many twists and turns, dead ends, and mystery that I second guessed myself the entire way through. I love that this book is told from multiple points of view as we get to delve into the character’s brains and experience the story. What started as a morning plan to read a couple chapters ended up being an entire day spent absorbed into this romantic suspense! If you like thrillers with romance and spice all mixed in, please do yourself a favor and pick this book up. I cannot wait to start reading other stories by this author!

I really enjoyed this book and I highly recommend it. For me personally it was really triggering because I used to be married to a cop. I still managed to put that to the side and enjoy it. Maya is a nanny who actually cares about the kids in her care unlike most women near her in the same profession. Cole is law enforcement. The way he’s drawn to Maya is nothing he’s ever experienced. With a serial killer on a hunt leaving some women dead and some missing. With no preference. Cole having a hunch Maya is in danger.

When I started this read thought to myself I better buckle up because this is going to be a ride of note …then it calms down and takes a romantic turn if you like and bam the rollercoaster ride starts and boy do you need to buckle up !!!!
Cole is a strange character but give the man a chance at first I thought he was a bit of a douche and horn dog because he’s only got one thing on his mind and he’s got a dirty mouth but there’s another side to home , a gentle caring side which comes out when he takes care of Maya when she’s most vulnerable , being a fop investigating the case it puts him in quite the predicament and I’m grateful for his protective instincts because Maya is in serious trouble and she doesn’t really know it at the time so much so that I just want to climb into the book and warn her 🙈also Cole’s job is on the line when it comes to light that he’s involved with Maya
Maya is different to the other nannies , she’s real , genuine and honest and she really cares for her charge , little Benji (he’s really cute)and when they meet their demise heart heartbreak is very real and my heart went out to her , not only for her heartache but for the unfair judgment that came with it ….as it is the other nannies are always mean and unkind to her and that just makes sooooo mad
John , our single daddy rearing and home schooling his children ,also notices her and he’s a yummy daddy that everyone wants but can’t have and he hit his fingers badly burnt before with a deceitful Delilah of a nanny he’s got an artistic talent that makes him even more alluring , but his daughter freaks me out with her glares 🤣🙈but she’s not a bad kid , she’s just protective and it would seem his whole family has a thing for Maya and quite honestly it’s quite frightful
Our killer really is one sick puppy and when I tell you he makes Jeffrey dahmer’s antics look like Childs play I’m not kidding and he’s definitely someone I’d want to cross paths with ! Just remember this is a really twisted story ….
The characters all have some darkness and hurt they carry Cole really had a rough and sickening childhood though as did Maya and when they share their stories my heart broke for them ,they try to build walls around themselves but the killer sees everything and he’s really clever , did I mention stalkerish and creepy 🙈
I actually left the stair light on while and after reading this! I’ll also be avoiding Diamond Valley like the plague 🤣🙈and the likes of Emma (Cole’s partner )and the mean nannies😵💫people are so vindictive
It was just terrifying , sick , psychotic and brilliant ! It had me on the edge of my seat and I think my family was rather entertained watching me read this 🙈 and Maya had her hands full with these men wanting het curvaceous bod and good heart 😉

Homicidal Innocence is a psychological thriller, with a bit of romance in between, by V.J. Lee. I loved this book from the second I opened it, and just could not separate myself from it. The story was engaging, constantly keeping you on your toes. I haven’t read from this author before, and i think this book was phenomenal. You think you’ll be able to figure it out on your own but this author is really gonna throw you for a loop! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for this author from now on!

I have read a few books from this author and she always blows my mind with her books. I love it when the author writes from both of the characters’ points of view. It makes you feel more connected to the characters. This is the second book of the Deadman Tribe series. You could read this book as a stand alone but there are previous characters in this story as well. I was so excited to get this book I stopped everything and started this book right away. I could not stop reading until the end. I can’t wait to see who she will write about next.

He is excited when he meets the very beautiful Sylvan. TB feels something for this woman he got before but he needs to keep his head in the game. Even though this is the fifth book in the series, instalment book in the focuses on different MCs, so can be read as a standalone/s without feeling like you are missing anything important. As expected, Victoria Saccenti crafted her characters well- creating fully realised individuals with their own personalities, quirks, and flaws. The MC’s have their own challenges, adding angst, tension, and plenty of emotion to the whole story. Their shared history adds another layer to the story, while building depth and intrigue. Stir in all that simmering chemistry, mysteriousness, danger, and some intrigue – and the story takes an engrossing turn. Looking forward to more from Ms. Saccenti. Happy Reading!

Homicidal Innocence is a Romantic Suspense for V.J. Lee. This story starts with a great introduction. It grabbed me from the start describing how the character got started killing as a child. We follow Maya, Cole, and X. The multiple points of view work very well. It was fascinating being in the mind of the killer, but you need the balance of the other two characters so that it doesn’t become too much. The juxtaposition between Cole the detective and X the killer is very intriguing. The characters of Cole and Maya were good but less complex than X. I felt the romance plot struggled. It was hard for me to believe that the characters were so in love. There was almost no relationship building and only sex. All in all this was a fast-paced, twisty thriller. The payoff in the end was very satisfying.

Homicidal Innocence is full of twists and turns that you won’t see coming! I love that the perspective changes from X (the murderer), Maya, John, and Cole. Even with reading the perspective of X I still could not figure out the murderer in the end and was shocked. The ending left me wanting more (in a good way!). Maya is a nanny for a wealthy family in Diamond Valley and unlike most nannies she is there for Benji (her charge). John is a single father taking care of twins that has yet to find the right nanny. Cole is a police detective working on figuring out who X is. With X killing and taking nannies around Diamond Valley, Cole has his work cut out for him. The characters are all well thought out. There is a lot of spice and romance in this book but also depictions of violent acts. If you like murder mysteries, being in the murderers’ head, and spice then you’ll love Homicidal Innocence!

This book is a gripping thriller that had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. In fact, I was probably like that from the moment I read the description. I just had to read this story and find out what was going on. The author takes you on such an intense but well craft journey. There are so many twists and turns thrown in that I never knew where it was going to end up. I became really invested in the characters and I think a large part of that is because of the multiple POV. It allowed you, as the reader, to experience things in much more detail and added to the overall suspense. This is an incredible story and, if all her books are like this, I cannot wait to discover more.

This story is one of politics, violence and death, with a little bit of hope and love thrown in. Lea is the victim throughout the story however she doesn’t always play that way. She is trying to get on with her life with her new identity since her real life was stolen when she was 3 years old. For years Lea has been hiding but as she turns 18 and graduates, she discovers she needs to learn how to take care of herself, build a life and as Max tells her: “Gotta live, girl”.
This story takes many turns and when the world starts looking for lost little Michaela, Lea must go back into hiding, but will she ever be able to come out and live a normal life.
This story was a little slow to start as this trope isn’t my go-to. About a third of the way in I was hooked. Looking forward to reading more in this series and about these characters.

I liked that I didn’t have to read the first book to understand this. I do plan to go read the rest of series now! Such a good story! If you like an alpha male then this is the book for you. Nicole Craig is a versatile author and has done a phenomenal job!

Before I get into the story I just want to comment on the dedication … I just love how real and honest it is , straight shooting from the heart …. Love it !
So Sylvan is an author , she’s got a case of writers block and she’s doing on line research with a Dom named Lobo but she’s also got what seems to be a stalker but I’ll get there in a minute … first off these 2 remind me of “you’ve got mail “but a spicy version with an added twist , like a dirty martini really 🙈🤣
We meet Lobo (TB) at “ The Library “ how HOT is that name !? 🔥anyhoo he’s got a sub coming onto him , he’s not interested and then poof she vanishes and my blood runs cold ….she’s also not the first to disappear 😵
I love the way Lobo get ls Flame to do what he wants even if it’s virtual at first , he’s soooooo smooth and I had put the fan on so my kindle didn’t overheat 🙈🤣
So Lobo is an information specialist and is actually party of a specialised team that deals with interrogation, kidnapping , protection details , missing people etc a whole different world to that of Sylvan and her author/book world but their 2 worlds collide when she’s in danger remembering they do meet face to face at the club but at the time she doesn’t know the other side of him , he’s so patient with her I think he could even sway me 🤣they both have secrets and that adds to the mystery , suspense and danger ! They had me on the edge of my seat and I totally forgot my earlier reference of a spicy you’ve got mail 🤣🥰🙈
I would read book 1 first though not that I felt lost but because we all could with spice in our lives right 🤣🔥 jokes aside treat yourself and read them both , warn your family it’s stretch or starve for a few days and just indulge …
Love the way these 2 have conversations with themselves it almost feels like I’m normal 🤣also Sylvan has given me a whole new “cuss vocab” thanks girl 😉
The comradie between the team is entertains , they’re tight as brothers and they take the Mickey out of each other who is quite entertaining to say the least but they’re all good men and yes they’re all yummy 🔥😉🥰

Bad Enough is the second novel in the Deadman’s Tribe series by author Nicole Craig. Sylvan, an author, has been chatting with TB, an information specialist, researching her next book. After a few months chatting as their alter egos, Lobo feels connected to Flame even though they’ve never met in real life. TB and his Tribe team are hired by the father of a girl who goes missing at the club he frequents as Lobo. While TB’s team is finding out about Lobo and the club, Sylvan is receiving ominous messages from someone in her past. She’s hiding something and TB vows to get the information from her. Will TB be able to get the information without breaking Sylvan? Will Sylvan ever trust TB with the truth and her heart? Will they be able to move forward with each other and leave their past behind them?
So many things I loved about this book. Suspense, secrets, spice, and for me the perfect amount of BDSM. I don’t particularly enjoy the more hardcore BDSM books but this book really showed the trust that goes into a healthy dominant/submissive relationship. I felt like the author found the perfect blend of spice and plot for me, which is hard to do. I’m looking forward to reading more books from Nicole Craig!

Homicidal Innocence by V.J. Lee. This book was WOW! I made the mistake of reading it while house/dog sitting for my brother at his house in the woods by myself! I was awake most of the night. I did not want to put this thrilling romance down. Its the story of a child killer who was sent away and they thought they had fixed him. They were wrong. He was a killer to his core and it would never change. Maya is a nanny in the fancy, rich world of Diamond Valley and while most people are being a nanny for the money Maya is in it for the kids. She loves children and she’s in college for child psychology. She wants to help kids in need. While money and secrets flow in this valley Maya is only concerned about helping kids when a serial killer gets too close Maya begins to work with Detective Cole in trying to find this guy before someone else dies. What Maya doesn’t know is the killer May have her in his sights. I loved this book it is my favorite genre and I hope this author writes another one soon.
