This story is a quick, enjoyable read. While part of a series, I found it easy to read as a standalone. Hayden and Ruby each have their own reasons for being how they are; however, being stuck together during a storm might just start them down a new path. Could it lead to their own hea? I would recommend this book if you’re looking for an easy read.
Bad at Being Good by A.L. Morrow

Having read other books by Morrow, I knew this book would draw me in almost from the beginning, which it did. The characters are well developed, making it easy to picture the different ways they are dealing with the terrible loss they all experienced and well as things in each’s personal life. I would recommend this book, but make sure to take the triggers mentioned by the author into account.
Baking a Bicycle: Invisible Magic Wand Book Seven by Lois Wickstrom

This was another hit with my niece and nephews; Wickstrom is one of their favorite others. They love the invisible wand series and can’t ever wait to see what new adventure Caspian is going to have on his unbirthday. I would recommend this book to others; it’s well written and illustrated.
Detective Dylan and the Case of the Missing Mail: A Youth Sleuths Chapter Book Series by MJ Murray

This story was adorable. There was the obvious kids working as detectives, but it also had so much more. You siblings working together, interaction with thier community, thinking outside the traditional and others. I also really appreciated the interactive section that was included for teachers to use with thier students I thought that was a really nice touch!
Spectral Revelations: A Karina Cardinal Mystery by Ellen Butler

This book was the first for me both from this series as well as by this author, but it won’t be the last. The sixth in the series, this book can be read as a stand alone but if I had to guess it would be even better read in order if for no other reason than the character development you gain as the series develops.
I found the writing to be well developed, humorous , laugh out loud at moments , easy – to – read , and not wanting to put to book down. I can not wait for the next book book by Butler. But while I am waiting, I will be going back to read the rest of the series.
Porter and Midge: Paws for Safety: A Kid’s Guide to Safe Dog Interactions by Giselle Nevada

This was an adorable short story lightly touching on caring for and interacting with pet dogs. I really liked that the illustrations also covered both do’s and don’ts making the points even easier to understand for some children. I would recommend this book.
Fractured Hearts-Prospect by D.M. Earl

I really enjoyed Celee and Dingo’s story. Earl really continues to keep you drawn into the world ahead had created for this series. This was the 2nd book of the seven from the series I have read, as they can be read as stand alones, but I plan to go back and read the read because there is back story that is referenced/ implied to from the previous I think would just make the story that much better. I would recommend this book.

I almost did not give this book a chance due solely to the length – I rarely read books this long anymore, I am glad i decided to give it a go. It took me a while to really get into the story, but if you can give it a little time to draw you in, it is totally worth it. The characters had great depth, the storyline keeps you entertained, and once you’re interested, you may well find yourself reading every chance you get because you want to know how the story ends.

I really enjoyed this book, the first in its series. I can’t wait to see how the next book plays out. I loved Anna’s strength. I would recommend this book to others. However, mentioning the treatment of Anna by her husband as well as those under him may be triggering for some.
Vixen: by D.M. Earl

I really enjoyed Mira and Lucus’s story. Mira’s strength in willing to expose herself to her negative past to help a friend really drew me in. The whole dynamic with the other women in her life has me excited to go back and read the rest of the series while I am waiting on the next book in the series. I will warn there are several potential triggers in the storyline including assault, human trafficking, and death of a child.
Mr Wimp by B.L. Wilde

This novella was a quick enjoyable read. I wasn’t sure what I was really expecting having never read anything from this author before, but I am glad I gave the book a chance. I can not wait to read more from Wilde.
Amaleigha Makes a New Friend by Janice Pratt

This story was really one I enjoyed sharing with my niece and nephew so much, so I’m not sure who enjoyed it more. It had a very nostalgic vibe for me – writing to a penpal in elementary. The chance to get to know someone from some place different from you. The classroom aspect sharing all the cultural information was very informative. But, what I appreciated even more though is how difficult the subject of unrest and war is, approaching the subject in a manner the younger kids would be able to understand. I would absolutely recommend this book!
Rogue Wolf by Lilliana Rose

This is the third installment in this series. The story continues to develop, giving more detail into both the relationship of Kodiak and Tamaska as well as the overall storyline as well. I can’t wait to see what’s next and would recommend reading the series in order while waiting for the next installment.
Lilly Tames Her Worries by Carole Heaney

This absolutely adorable story is a relatable way to introduce healthy anxiety coping mechanisms to kids of all ages. I loved that the story was so down to earth and really put in a way that my niece and nephew were able to understand the I formation that was being given to them. I would absolutely recommend this book!!!
Master Campania: Dark Vampire Romance by Sylvia Black

This is another great add to the series. While it was not my favorite, I felt it was a bit rushed in places, I still enjoyed the individual romance as well as the new information to the story line that carry through the series. I would recommend this book.

This book is outside my normal genre but was a “picked because of the cover” book. I can,however, say I was not disappointed. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It took me a little to really get into, but once I was, I didn’t want to, but it down! Absolutely recommend.

Ten Little Starfish: A Counting Book by Kim Ann

This a cute 1-2-3 story about a starfish and its day. As you count up with you, learn different interesting facts about starfish. As an added bonus, when you reach the end of the story, there is a short scavanger hunt list to complete using the illustrations from the story.
Goldilocks and the Six Simple Machines by Lois Wickstrom

A unique twist on Goldilocks and the three bears that I enjoyed sharing with my neice and nephew. Wickstrom really has become a favorite for them. I love that there is always a lesson for the kids to learn as well, whether it be moral or something more hands-on, like in this case. I would recommend this book.

I was immediately drawn into this story; it was exellently written with great character and world development. I was able to read the book out of order without issue but I will add that reading the series in order would definitely help as there is an overall story that carries through the series as well as characters back story’s that were introduced previously. But if you’re like me and just can’t wait, I would recommend this book regardless of the reading order.

A first read by this author for me, I really enjoyed this story. The characters were well developed, drawing you in keeping you turning the page just to find out what happens next. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series, but until then, I’ll be going back and starting at the beginning. I would recommend this book.

This story really drew me and kept my attention, lots of twists and turns. I really enjoyed the level of suspense that came along with the different dynamics between the people involved in the storyline. Give the story a chance, and it will keep you on your toes! I would recommend reading.

Lots of sex along with some complicated relationships. You definitely need to be open-minded to enjoy, but if you are, you won’t regret it. While the story was complete, I do wish it had gone more in-depth. There was definitely room to expand on the tiny little details that you want to know. Still a good read which I would recommend.
