Dragons by Ty Drago was an incredible read! I don’t even know what to say! This book is full of sci-fi, danger, suspense, some comedy, and a lot of thrills. This book reminded me of the movie Interstellar in a way, but not quite. It was so interesting reading about these other moons, and all this futuristic high tech equipment. And the imagery! I felt like I was right there going through everything Andy went through. I absolutely loved this book! And I couldn’t even hardly put it down. It gripped me in such a way, I devoured it very quickly. I just couldn’t put it down! I can’t wait to read more from Ty Drago in the future!

What a fun, interesting fantasy story! My first one by Drago as this genre isn’t my usual go to. However, when I need a break from my romance stories, I know that I will continue to read the stories by Ty Drago.
This story has a little bit of everything: action, adventure, fantasy, romance. This story will be loved by “science nerds” and adventure loving readers and it is definitely a good story for young adults.
I love how this story is set in space and on one of Juniper’s moons. Living in space and being on spaceship has to be quite the adventure. But then again Andy is full of surprises and adventures look like they will be his new normal now. My only complaint about this story is the use of the word “furking”. In the beginning it really bugged me but by the end it actually fit the character and story line so I didn’t mind it…as much.
I look forward to reading more from Drago and certainly more about these characters.

An immersive and fast-paced sci-fi adventure that is bound to keep you flipping pages. This book builds the scenery, characters, and storyline in an epic way. There is never a chance to stop and reflect on the continuous bombs and cliffhangers thrown your way because you want to keep going (or maybe, that’s just me). I had a hard time putting this book down and appreciate the way it was written, truly a great piece of fiction. Andy, our protagonist, teaches many valuable lessons, and leaves a lingering reflection of hope and courage for our own world. This book is quite literally “out of this world!”

This one starts with a big leap of faith – a group of young women are abducted from their neighbourhoods in England, and blasted into outer space to be sold to a group of Panther-men as breeders for their dying race. Well, if you can get past the absurdity of the premise – this book is actually pretty amazing. Strong, independent female heroines who are masters of their own destiny, despite being dropped onto an alien planet that they no nothing about, with few applicable skills to defend themselves with. Poppy is adamant that she learn the skills of the Panther-men so that she and her fellow women can take care of themselves, and not be beholden to others to make their way in this new world. Despite the origins of the arrangement, Zensah of the Panther-man race respects the women and honours their right to independent life. As their journey wears on, the two come to care for each other more than they expected.
The writing is lush and illustrative. There are many foreign vistas in this adventure, and Sharpe is adept at describing them. Her writing is so immediate and rich that imagining you are following behind Poppy and Zensah in the jungle is easy. Being able to easily picture Zensah’s sleek rippling muscles didn’t hurt my enjoyment of the book either! This really is a great read, I can absolutely recommend it for sci-fi, adventure, and romance fans.

I enjoyed this book. I don’t really know what to write about this sci-fi futuristic book except that I recommend it. I enjoyed the imagery, the characters, and the story. The main character is a loveable gullible geek off on the adventure of his life, and easily takes you along. While some things were predictable, they didn’t tell me where the book was going. The futuristic ideas are engaging. The universe created in my mind was fascinating and emotional. The frustration of racial bias hits home to issues for today, and the trauma the main character goes through creates a relatable character. Again, I loved it!

Dragons by Ty Drago. This was such a fun, fast paced, young adult, science fiction read. Its full of action, adventure, drama and futuristic stuff. Andy has been taught his whole life to “Conceal and protect” his identity. He has always been afraid to tell anyone about his supernatural powers. When he wakes up in a futuristic prison having been kidnapped he’s totally confused. Why has he been kidnapped and what do they want from him. Andy is just a high school kid and no one is supposed to know of his powers so why would they want to kidnap him? Andy is a member of the Kind and they live among humans but have a powerful heat inside of them known as the Dragon. As Andy navigates thru being kidnapped and surviving he learns a lot about himself and learns to be ok with the fact that he isn’t “normal”. When Andy is left with the choice to use his powers or die he decides he has to accept who he is and love it! Such a fun young adult read.

Dragons is a very interesting YA sci-fi story. I’m not usually one that goes for sci-fi, but this story had me hooked! Andy has been taught to hide his true nature his whole life, but when he’s kidnapped, he has no choice but to let that nature show. Ty Drago has created a very well-written novel with imagery that lets you really picture these otherworldly landscapes. There is also great character development, especially for the main character Andy. I’m glad I took a chance on this book, because I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it!

I was not sure what to expect at first when I started reading this book. I was pleasantly surprised, this book is really good! If anyone knows me, they know I love YA books. I really enjoyed this YA/Sci Fi story. To me, it is a story I never read anything like before. Meeting Andy Brand at the beginning just has my heart. Andy is kidnapped and questions arise as to why? Who would kidnap a boy in high school? You learn quickly nothing is as it seams, and there is definitely many twists, lies and turns in this story. He wants to protect “Kind” and help others, you read to see what happens next. Very good read…..

I gotta say, I’m surprised. I picked up this title on a recommendation by another person, and was a bit skeptical. I don’t usually read books centred around religion, but this was honestly… great. Extremely well-written and compelling, the characters are interesting and real, and the book moved at a great pace. I was moved to get to the end to have my questions answered – how did this boy get here? how can he even give birth? What does this all mean?
The mixing in of different sections told by other characters of the past was an interesting detail and made the story much more complex and meaningful. I appreciated that the book didn’t preach to me or tell me what to believe, it just let the story speak for itself, and left the characters to answer their questions for themselves, and come to their own conclusions. There are many great things I could say about this book and the writing, but I would recommend you buy it, you won’t be sorry!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this young adult sci-fi thriller. The science referenced throughout was accurate and interesting to learn. The characters are likeable and I felt for Draco as he faced challenges on his journey. The story seems disjointed in places because there are a lot of different things happening and it was hard to keep them all straight at the same time. Great writing style and descriptions.

After reading this story, I am now a huge fan of Ty Drago! Dragons begins with Andy Brand waking up in a futuristic jail cell. He has no idea who kidnapped him or why he is there. Then he hears a voice. The Voice asks him to light a paper on fire. Andy pretends to not know how he could do that, but we learn that he is a supernatural being called the Kind. The Kind live among us as humans but have a powerful heat inside them that they call their dragon. The story goes from there into space and into rescuing a mining colony on a moon of Jupiter. It seems fairly cut and dry, but there is a twist. Andy’s world tips on his axis, but in the process, he learns more about himself. This story was sci-fi and completely fantastic! I could not put it down nor could I even predict what was going to happen. It is your next must read!

Intriguing, intense and intergalactic This is definitely a case of “don’t judge a book by its cover”. I hesitated going into this book and I was so wrong. This is wonderfully written and takes the reader on a journey through self-discovery and the unknown areas of space. The author creates a whole new world and species and does so seamlessly. I was riveted from page one and didn’t want the story to end. I connected with Andy immediately and was so vested in his survival. A brilliant piece of writing – kudos Ty Drago!

Conceal and Protect…the code of ethics every Kind lives by. A young boy lives the adventure of a lifetime however not by his choice. Kidnapped and taken from the life he once knew; Andy must now decide who he is and what he stands for. Who is telling the truth and who is using him for his abilities for tier own personal gain? What a great little YA adventure book. The characters are very relatable, and I became so deeply immersed in the story. Watching Andy come into his own, the struggle with who and what he is, and the sacrifices he makes are truly an inspiration. I never thought that a story could guide me on the path to choose who I am and to encourage me to stay true to my personal beliefs and essence of what makes me who I am today. This book really helps us to believe in ourselves and shows how to follow our true self. I was pleasantly surprised at the story and how it unfolded with so many twists and turns. Just know that you are in for a great little adventure once you pick up this book. Entertaining, thought provoking, and FUN! What else could a person ask for in a book. Easy read for YA readers and a good lesson to stay true to oneself. I highly recommend this book for all who want a great read and adventure. Get lost in the world of the Kind!

Dragons by Ty Drago is a thrilling sci-do adventure that pulled me in right from the start. Andy was such a good character to read about – it really felt like you watched him developed as the story progresses. I didn’t know what to expect with this book as it is a new author to me but I was pleasantly surprised with how taken I was worn the book. I found it to be quite exciting and fast paced. I didn’t realise they it was a YA story when I started reading but I actually think that made it more likeable. The characters were all interesting, although I enjoyed reading about Andy the others all added something to that story. This is a well written book and a great new author I am excited to discover.

What a great action-packed book! So much happened that at one point I looked down, figuring this must be near the end, and I was only 40% finished. Andy Brand is a teen who has the power of fire and thermonuclear energy on his side. After being kidnapped so that he can be used as a weapon, he starts to figure out just what he is capable of. I enjoyed this science space book. This is a new author for me which I enjoyed his writing skills and his attention to details that gave the story a realistic feel. The characters are connectable and made the story fun and entertaining to read. This is a story about Andy. He has been hiding his true self from everyone. But now that he has been kidnapped and pushed to limits that he never thought he could go. From here the story takes on betrayal, lies and you just never know if things are as they appear. This is a great adventure story that would be great for any young adult and anyone who likes space. I enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

Dragons by Ty Drago turned out to be quite an great little adventure. It is YA sci-fi story, with action, lies, secrets, ‘powers’, betrayal, drama, tension, obstacles, high stakes, danger, and hidden agendas. This is Andy’s adventure- and we get a front row seat to all the developments. Andy has secrets- there is definitely more to him than meets the eye. So what happens when he is kidnapped. Why was he taken and what do ‘they’ want? He will soon find himself in a high stakes situation that will test him on every level. What happens makes for quite a fun read. I really enjoyed my first read from Ty Drago- and will definitely look for more of his books to read.

This book was amazing. It is a great way to continue the series. I couldn’t put it down. There were so many different elements in this story. From friendship to romance to mystery and adventure.I felt like I was there searching, wanting more. I am so happy that I found this awesome series by such an awesome, talented author.

“Tapestry of Worlds” was a very interesting book. I enjoy short stories because they are a complete story in only a few pages. This author created a whole new world and really did great going in depth on the characters.

Similarly to the first book, the prologue immersed you completely in the character’s mind and world. The writing was descriptive and mysterious during some parts, and felt a bit rushed in others. However, the events of the book were intriguing from start to finish. Initially I was confused, as I was expecting to pick right back up where the first book left off, but instead, the book picks up with Ransom’s perspective during the events of the first book telling a new tale that coincides with the first book, but does not repeat it. I would have loved to experience this perspective along side Erika’s perspective in the first book as it fills in some blanks and I think would have made for better and more clear world building. The world building in this book gives a much clearer picture. Putting together fantasy with elements of Sci-fi made for an interesting tale. Definitely looking forward to the next story!

In Louisiana a dark figure hunts in the night, he is shrouded in shadows as he disposes of the trash for the Black Queen, it is the start of something dark and disturbing and he is revelling in it, as long as it doesn’t hurt the one he loves. Meanwhile “Ransom” McIlwain is packing up and preparing for a new mission with his team, although he wishes he was going to a party with his girlfriend Erika instead, especially with how good she looks in the picture she just sent him, but duty calls, at least until he can swap to another area of the military in the future. H wants to spend more time with her, she is bold, beautiful, intelligent and everything he is looking for in a woman, but when she speaks about her Ph.D in Folklore, he admits to himself that he tunes out a little, not believing in what she is telling him, but for now, he has to concentrate on work and not his girlfriend.
As the briefing starts and the team find out where they will be going and what they will be doing it all seems to be something they don’t normally deal with and they would be right, they are going after a terrorist called the Black queen who is combining neurotechnolog and mysticism to launch a domestic terrorism plot on home soil and that they will be deploying to Lousiana to go to a top; secret facility in order to receive further intel and training to use during their mission. Before they head out, their Captain insists they call their families and warn them about the pandemic of Covid-19 which is going to become more problematic and widespread while they are on mission, Ransom does his best to warn Erika, but it seems like she is having too much fun to listen to him, he is hoping that he is wrong.
As they arrive at the underwater black ops base, get set up with their equipment and are introduced to the doctors who will be looking after them during the mission, as they go into their brief they cannot believe what they are hearing, apparently the Black Queen has found a way to cross the Veil between the worlds and that they will be using brand new technology to access it, however, on the other side, things will not appear as the team expect, they will be in a state of lucid dreaming and will explain more when they get to the other side. As the team settle into their assigned machines and cross the veil, they realise what the doctor meant by looking and seeing things differently, but as they begin to immerse themselves into this strange new world and start to gather the information they need to try to stop the Black Queen, Ransom realises that his girlfriend had unwittingly already partially prepared his for this mission.
Will they be able to navigate this world on the other side of the veil and accept and use the gifts they find themselves with to complete their mission, or will the dangerous beings within this world somehow use this to their advantage instead? This is a military mission based around current times with a paranormal twist of alternate dimensions, shifting landscapes and otherworldly gifts which will keep you hanging on the edge of your seat throughout.

Tapestry of Worlds, Part Two: Running and Gunning By Hadley Thorne is an original! I don’t think I have ever read anything like it before! The description of the characters, made me want to meet them in real life… Well, maybe not the Black Queen lol…
This is a powerful post-apocalyptic story full of adventure and suspense. The mix of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Action & Supernatural was beautifully written.
Ransom, his girlfriend Erika and a team of elite soldiers are on a mission to find a cyberterrorist called The Black Queen and stop her from doing something terrible, like literally unleashing hell on earth. Of course they are going to do what they can to stop her! I would recommend reading this book. I’m ready to see what happens next!

This is the second book in the Tapestry of Worlds Series. It is an action packed adventure from the first page. The author does a great job of mixing Sci fi with paranormal and they work well together. This was the first book I have read but even though its the second in the series I was still able to enjoy it.
The characters are well written and the theme of good verses evil and who will triumph is a story that will keep you gripped from beginning to end.

This is the second book in this series by this author. I haven’t read the first book, but this cover stood out to me and reminded me of the Halo series covers, and I love that series. I was impressed with this book and will be reading the first one as well. I thought that the author did a fantastic job making the characters real and her description of the world around was phenomenal. I found this to be a very fast paced read and a real page turner. If you love books or games like the Halo series then you will love this book. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next one.

This book is the second book in the Tapestry of Worlds series. I highly recommend reading the first book to get the most enjoyment of this book. This is a YA supernatural adventure book. The story is original. The characters are what make this story good. The characters are not only people but also shifters. The Black Queen is back but so is the White Queen. The battle that is about to happen is opening the nine mythical Ragnarok Gates, which will bring hell on earth. Will the White Queen and the elite group fight off the Black Queen’s plan? How many of the mythical Ragnarok Gates will be opened? I recommend this book to see what happens between Black Queen and White Queen.

Tapestry of Worlds, Part Two: Running and Gunning by Hadley Thorne. This is an action packed Sci Fi, Fantasy read. It can be read as a standalone but I think its best if you read the first one beforehand. Its the story of Cash and Jack as they work together to take down the Black Queen who is a cyber terrorist. She also has supernatural powers and those combined can be deadly. Jack’s girlfriend Erika is helping them and she too has super powers just as powerful as the Black Queen. The only problem being they don’t have a clue as to who the Black Queen really is. Will the gang get out of this one alive? Erica seems to be in real danger this time. The Black Queen is not someone to be messed with. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat the entire read!

Tapestry of Worlds, Part Two: Running and Gunning by Hadley Thorne is a young adult adventure story that I truly enjoyed reading. I was pulled in from the beginning and couldn’t stop reading till I finished. It’s a fast paced story packed with magic , suspense and adventure. The characters are well developed and made me feel like I was on the adventure with them. I would recommend reading the first book if you haven’t already but this can be read as a standalone . Get ready to be taken on quite the adventure and find out what happens next. I highly recommend reading this book. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
