Good Things Take Time is the second book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series by Suzanna Lynn. It is another sweet story that encourages patience- as waiting can be hard, and frustrating, but we need wait, and to trust that everything is going to plan and will turn out the way it’s meant to. The story comes with very cute, bright, colourful, and engaging illustrations that help to bring the story to life and reinforce the important messages. As with the first book, this finishes with a scripture passage that helps to reinforce the messages in this book.

This was a cute clean romance that I enjoyed from page one. Even though this is the 5th book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. The characters are interconnect but the author wrote this well enough that you’re not left thinking you’re missing something from previous books. This was a childhood friends to lovers story and I absolutely adored the mcs. They’re thrown together for family wedding festivities and starks fly. They keep things secret for a while but learn that having a secret in a small town is very hard. I was rooting for them the entire time and happy they got their HEA. I am looking forward to reading more by this author in the future! Happy Reading!

Such an easy and fast read. I highly recommend this book. I was conflicted on whether to praise or be mad at Bijou. She’s doing the best she can with the hand she is dealt. Raising her teenager alone because her spouse has passed away. She is on her own facing all these challenges.

The Human Mating Site, Complete Series by B.L. Wilde is an excellent collection of novellas that chronicle the main character’s dating life post divorce. I loved every single minute of this book. From the very realistic dissolution of Bella’s marriage to the very end we are watching her personal growth in a heartwarming and often humorous way. While the writing in this collection is really good with great characters, my FAVORITE part is Bella’s internal monologue. She is an incredibly witty, fun character that you truly root for. The men in this collection range from intriguing to cringy and everything in between. If you are looking for a steamy, humorous and entertaining series, I recommend the full collection all at once!

Andrew’s parents have a treasure chest for him from the time he’s just a baby. They are always encouraging him, telling him how strong and courageous he is. As Andrew grows, different toys appear in the treasure chest. One day, he finds some armor in there. He puts it on and runs around feeling stronger and braver than ever! Then, one day something happens and he puts his armor away. Nothing makes me feel strong or brave anymore. Notes start appearing on his armor, encouraging him to put it back on.
This book is very well written and describes the spiritual relationship of picking up our armor daily and fighting for the cause of Christ. It is a great way to encourage young children to be strong and brave, while also teaching them Biblical principals.

This author is definitely on my list of books to pick up without a second thought as they create some incredible stories. This is the fourth book in The Predator series, and just like the others, it doesn’t disappoint. Bijou was a fantastic character who felt more like a friend than a character in a story. Noah is the perfect book boyfriend! The chemistry between them leaps off the pages, and I found myself fully invested in them immediately. This story will take you on an emotional rollercoaster with twists and turns throughout. I may have shed a few tears here and there, but there is also plenty of romance and spice! If you enjoy contemporary romances with steamy scenes that don’t overtake the plot, this is a great place to start. Although you can read this as a standalone, you will likely circle back to the entire series because you won’t be able to get enough. I can’t wait to see what other must-reads this author has in store for us!

Really intriguing story. I loved how the story was told from the perspectives of both characters of their thoughts, feelings, and actions. It was a lot more the thoughts and feelings they had within their own minds, and it was a unique look into what they were thinking and then what they do after those thoughts and feelings emerged. It was so exciting to me that I was able to read it within 2 days because I just wanted to know what was going to happen next! The story is about a demon angel and a hunter with a ring telling him what it wanted. It follows the journey of both characters and the ring and their intertwined fates. So intriguing and had me guessing what would happen the entire book and I very much enjoyed reading this.

The Human Mating Site Complete Series by B. L. Wilde, is an absolutely steamy wild ride. Bella is wonderfully hilarious, and her inner monologuing was great. I adored the development she has throughout each book! I would like to mention this series is VERY steamy, with lots of sexual content, so if that’s not your thing I wouldn’t delve into this. This was my introduction to this author and I was just obsessed and couldn’t help reading for way too long at a time. I look forward to seeing this author again!

Good Things Take Time by Suzanna Lynn is the 2nd in the Blue Corgi series and is just as cute as the first! I love the sweet way the author shares important lessons, and how easy it is for my kiddos to understand. Can’t wait to read more to them.

Murder in Prospect is an Eve Sawyer Mystery. This is the 5th book in a series, but I did not feel like I missed anything but not reading the previous books. This book follows Eve and her friend Bob who attend college together. Bob was raised by his Uncle Will and comes to find out that he had passed away, but suspects something just isn’t right about it. He invites Eve to spend Spring Break together. She had solved different mysteries before and thought maybe she could help him look into his death. This is super cute, very quick read and will leave you feeling satisfied with the result.

RELEASE (REWIND Series) by Rowan Shaw . This is the end of this series with a set of stories that gives us a update on all the characters from the previous books in the series. I do recommend reading the others previously to get a better understanding of the characters. There is also a warning about the subject of suicide in this story. Its set 4 years in the future from the other books so its a sort of catch up on everyone. Adrien was the most heart wrenching of all. He has grown and I was thankful he had a great support system with Raphael and his sister Celeste. There are some truly heart wrenching scenes in this book and I would recommend reading the trigger warnings before reading. Its a very emotional read and I wasn’t sure going in I was going to be happy with this being the ending but I really enjoyed it and loved getting to see how everyone was doing!
Good Things Take Time is the second charming book in the Buddy the Blue Corgi series. My Grandsons were excited to be reading another adventure featuring Buddy. In this book Buddy the sweet Corgi is back to help children learn some life lessons in a fun setting. It is understandable that he has anxiety of the unknown and his mum once again helps him to settle. Follow along as Buddy finds a new home and a family who love him.

Forever to Fall (Buckeye Falls Book 5) by Libby Kay. This is such a sweet, romantic series. Each book in this series focuses on a couple in the Buckeye community. Evan is Mallory’s brother and along with Beckett they were inseparable growing up. El Diablo (Jessica Watts Southwest Suspense Series) by Kathryn Dodson. This is just like the first book, you better sit down and hold on! I highly recommend reading these books in order to better understand the story and characters! Jessica is trying to settle down and have a “normal” life she marries her best friend and becomes a paralegal. The more normal her life is the more bored she gets. When a friends daughter tells her about a pastor that may be doing inappropriate things she decides she can’t sit still anymore. This sleazy Pastor is also a client of her boss and he’s going to the high school to prey on these young girls in a Christian group. Jessica jumps right back into her investigating days and throws herself and her family in all kinds of danger. This story will keep you flipping pages until you are finished and its full of danger, mystery, suspense and a psychological nut! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Its been one of my favorites all year!
What Buddy goes through in this story is very relatable for everyone, especially the little ones. I love how the author provides examples that the children can relate to. At the end, it does provide a bible verse that does go with the theme of the book. The artwork is very well done. With every written page, there is an appropriate picture that shows the reader what is going on with Buddy and showing examples that his mother says.

If you aren’t interested in steamy intimate scenes and adult language, this isn’t the book for you. Oh Bella, what a wild ride. The inner monologue no portions had me rolling. Through each Novella you add another of Bella’s conquests, which honestly she deserves after a 12 year marriage that really led messed with her emotions, ending with being cheated on. Her friends are a blast. Each with their very own interpretation on her relationships but ALWAYS having her back. A mix of single and married ladies that truly just enjoy and appreciate each other for all their similarities and differences. Their girl group is strong, which is truly what Bellla needs as she navigates the world of dating after her marriage. Things change a lot in 12 years, so online dating is new for Bella and the ways of communication compared to when she met her husband have definitely advanced. She’s attempting to discover herself again and find out what it is that she wants. And boy does she experiment finding what she is and isn’t into. A great collection of stories

Corpse Pixie By Sinister Styx 5 star review Once I started this book it was hard for me to put it down. In this book you will read from the POV of multiple characters. The main character is Rene who is just trying to seek justice for his twin sister. Along the way Rene’s path crosses with Belladona who has big plans for Rene. They form an unusual relationship and help each other reach their end goals. Rene also discovers that all of the paranormal beings from the fairy tails are real. Pixies, witches, vampires, etc. Rene and Belladona end up discovering a major bombshell of information that turns Rene’s world upside down, yet helps him find closure. Good Things Take Time is Book 2 in the Buddy the Blue Corgi and I just adored this story so much. I do love Buddy the Blue Corgi and I am becoming quite fond and smitten. This story is beautifully illustrated, easy to read and learning the value of patience.
Buddy and his siblings are now ready to go to their forever homes. Buddy learns what it means to have patience and wait for the perfect family to be a part of and will love him. This is truly a wonderful story that the little ones will enjoy and also the young at heart.

his is my first book by this author in which I enjoyed reading from beginning to end. This is a young adult story about Joey and his mom. There is not much work for his mom so she sends Joey away to Lipidius. It is a mystical, fantasy place that is full of magic and monsters. This is a nation where the students find that they have something to fight for. What happens with Joey is something you don’t want to miss. He is a great character that any young adult will enjoy reading about and the adventure he takes you on is not one you will soon forget. I enjoyed watching the growth of the characters throughout the story that made it easy and entertaining to read. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and hard to put down. I look forward to seeing what is next for this author. I highly recommend this book.

This book was really good. Josh returns home to Midnight Falls to work freelance for the local paper. He makes friends with his neighbors and gets a girlfriend Lizzie. Josh’s dog Nimrod is really upset he bust through the door and they look at the window and see this thing with glowing red eyes. The sheriff in town also has beef with Josh. It is very hard to know who to trust in that town. I’m looking forward to more from this author.

This is the 4th book in The Predator Series. Once again we are taken on an emotional journey dealing with loss, grief, and learning to love again. This book could be read as a standalone however I thoroughly enjoyed every book in this series. The author has an incredible way of writing characters that the reader can emotionally connect with which makes the stories even more powerful.
In this story we meet Bijou Augustine and Noah. Both of our main character have been dealt blows by losing the love of their lives and now they are learning to rebuild their lives. Bijou was left widowed and looking after her daughter all while trying to run the children’s centre that her late husband started. Time are hard, the centre needs so many repairs and Bijou can’t afford to do them. However she doesn’t want to let go of the last connection to her deceased husband. Since his passing Bijou’s life has revolved around the centre and her daughter, romance has never really played a part of been a thought until she meets Noah.
Noah has moved to the small town hoping for a fresh start. After losing his wife in an accident Noah has shit himself off from the world and pushed people away. However when he goes to do some work at a children’s centre in his new town he can’t deny the attraction towards the owner Bijou. Will he be able to let his walls down and maybe have a second chance at love or will he push her away like everyone else? And how will Bijou react when secrets are revealed will it bring them closer together or push them further apart? Can they work together to save the Children’s centre or will Bijou lose the dream her deceased husband worked so hard for.
This is an emotional story about dealing with loss and fighting for a second chance at happiness.

This is such an adorable story about what this Gramma gets up to! She is constantly on the move and her grandkids must find her! The illustrations are super cute as well. They are very imaginative and fun. I think most kids would love to read this book and find out where Gramma goes!
This was a cute story. It had beautiful illustrations. Andrew feels strong and brave until something happens and he gets upset. After being made fun of, he no longer feels like he is a brave and strong boy. He mopes around, feeling bad about himself. Will Andrew find his courage again? You must read to find out!
This is the first book I have read by this author. I haven’t read the other books in this series. As I was reading, I did feel a little lost at times. I suggest reading the previous books before this one. However, the writing was really good. It had me intrigued throughout. After I finished reading, I found myself wanting to read the others in the series!
G is for Gossamer by Miss Whitaker 5 stars Very beautifully illustrated! Love the words and loved how my girls tried repeating them when I said them. “Good Things Take Time” continues the heartwarming journey of Buddy the Blue Corgi, a charming character designed to teach children valuable life lessons. In this second installment of the series, Lynn skillfully weaves together themes of patience, anxiety, and faith, making it a delightful read for children and parents alike.
Lynn’s storytelling is complemented by vibrant and engaging illustrations that captivate young readers’ imaginations. The visual elements not only enhance the narrative but also help convey the emotional nuances Buddy experiences, from worry to eventual reassurance. The art is charming and whimsical, perfectly aligning with the tone of the book.
