All the Wrong Reasons: A Serendipity Falls Novel is the first book I have read by Erin Bevan. I really enjoyed it and would definitely read more in the future. The characters in this book are wonderful and the chemistry and friendship they have is good. It has a full backstory, which I liked. Its the story of Alex and Max, who have been best friends nearly their whole life. Alex has recently had a one night stand and wound up pregnant. Not only does she fear disappointing her parents, she may loose her job over it, since she works at a Christian school with high standards. Max is the town’s most eligible bachelor, and Alex’s best friend. His first thought is how can he fix this for her. His solution is they get married before anyone finds out. But is this just a marriage of convenience, or destiny? It seems like everyone has been waiting for them to get together. Now they just need to learn to communicate their true feelings to each other and quit hiding things.

All The Wrong Reasons
A Serendipity Falls Novel
By Erin Bevan
☆☆☆☆☆
This is a full length Romantic novel. The growth between friends to lovers.

Alexandra Mills and Max Buchanan are the best of friends. Always have been, well sense they were 7 years old. Max is the town’s eligible bachelor. The ladies man as well. Never committing to anyone. Now that his political career is about to change, so must he. Alex is a Christian School teacher. Who has always done well. One night’s out to forget her boyfriend, she ends with her pregnant. She could lose her job over this. Well what do you think could happen? Will Alex and Max remain best friends? Two sides of the tracks, good vs really bad. Where will this find them?

Erin Bevan has written this love story. What a story as well! You may think you’ll read a few pages, just to start. When you can’t help put it down. Rollercoaster from page one until you read The End. Her characters are the people that live next door. She puts you right in her book. This is a new author for me. However I can’t wait for the next book in the Serendipity Falls series. As well as others by Erin Bevan.

5 Stars!

This story was sweet and sexy. I was addicted to this book and could not put it down. Alex comes into a bit of a predicament and her childhood friend Max offers to help her out, and by helping her out I mean be with her. This proposal is just convenient because it helps Max’s political image and helps Alex take care of her situation, but you can tell Max wants to be with Alex and thinks he just isn’t good enough for her. Alex I think, in my opinion, likes Max but is very leary because of his playboy ways and his past. Watching their relationship unfurl and the issues they face together is beautiful. The characters are wonderfully written, and I really enjoyed the concept of the story. I look forward to more from this author.

This is the first book I have read from this author and she now has a new fan. I love a good friends to lovers story but this author exceeded all my expectations. This book is part of the Serendipity Falls novels. You can read this book as a stand alone but I noticed there are previous characters that I hope to read about soon. I fell in love with these characters right from the beginning. They drew me into their story so much I could not stop until the end. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

Alexandrea Mills goes out to get her mind off of her ex. She finds herself in some guy’s bed that she has no idea who he is. Alex decides to leave without a trace. She needs to be very careful because she is a teacher at a private school. Alex is shocked when she finds out that she is now pregnant. She is scared that she is going to lose her job. Alex goes to her handsome best friend Max Buchanan which is the most eligible bachelor in their town. Max comes up with a great plan for the both of them. He tells her they should get married. Max would look like a family man for his campaign and Alex would be able to keep her job. Will their plan work or will someone find out the truth?

This is a romance story between two childhood friends Max and Alex (Alexandra) who know each other for 20 years. The story is set in a small-town setting. Alex is a girl with lofty ideals, someone who is committed to her work and her partner. Max, on the contrary is a playboy and does not commit to any relationships. One fateful night, Alex goes to a pub, gets drunk and commits a big mistake. She is about to become a single mother. Her job and reputation are in peril. Max is contesting for the Mayor of the town in the upcoming election and is convinced that a family image will help him win the election. So, when he sees Alex in such a pitiable position, his heart goes out for her. He proposes a marriage of convenience to Alex. Alex isn’t very comfortable with this as she thinks that this is a marriage of compromise. If it remains a contract between them or love brews between the two friends forms the crux of the story.
The good part about this book is though the characters are facing some grave problems, it is portrayed in a funny way, so the seriousness of the issues is not highlighted at all. It is a romance book, if anyone is in a look out for a light romance breezy read, you can check this out.

All The Wrong Reasons by Erin Bevan was a good 4 star read.
We start with Alex going out with a friend to get her ex out of her mind and waking up in bed with a stranger and not remembering a thing. She sneaks out and calls her best friend Max to come and get her.

Max has been Alex’s best friend for twenty years and is considered a playboy. They have always been there for each other. He wasn’t happy about the situation that Alex was in, but she has helped him in similar situations. You can sense that there may be a slight attraction between them.

As the story moves forward, Alex gets some shocking news that could affect her job. Max also finds himself in need of cleaning up his reputation and Alex may just be the solution. Can he agree to get her to marry him? Can they keep their feelings out of it?

Overall this was a good read with humor, emotion, and so much more. I really liked the characters. I look forward to reading more from this author. If you’re looking for a fun read this is the book for you. 1-click and get started today.

All the Wrong Reasons by Erin Bevan is A Serendipity Falls novel. This book tells the story of Alex and Max. This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I couldn’t put it down!

Alex has landed herself in quite the tough spot. Her situation may very well cost her her job. She’s at a loss for what to do. Max is Alex’s best friend and quite the playboy. He’s just lost a potential investor due to his lack of commitments. Max can help Alex just as much as she can help him. He proposes a marriage but Alex isn’t sure she can trust the changes Max assures her have happened. Will they be able to get everything they want or will their marriage of convenience ruin their friendship?

I absolutely enjoyed this book. I couldn’t put it down! You could feel Alex’s hesitation and caution but you could also tell she desperately wanted to trust in Max. I just couldn’t get enough of these characters.

All the Wrong Reasons: A Serendipity Falls novel is the first I’ve read by Erin Baven. I thought this contemporary romance was very well written. The characters feel real and complicated. The story itself has emotion, drama, and enough twists to make you want to cry. It also had the perfect ending for Alex and Max. I look forward to reading more from this author.
