This is a fast paced and interesting story that wasn’t quite like anything else I had read in this genre. It has quite a fun and adventurous feel to it that I was expecting when I first started reading. I thought the relationship between the characters was a little strange. I couldn’t place really what they were meant to be to each other but it was enjoyable to watch their journey. This author is one that I am becoming more familiar with and I like that all of his books are different. It is easy to enjoy his books and I look forward to the next one each time. I thought this was an overall enjoyable book with a great storyline.

A sci-fi book full of love and healing. I was a little skeptical at first as we read about Joe’s upbringing, meeting his future wife Chloe and the accident. With in a couple pages, I was intrigued by the story and couldn’t stop reading. The author writes in a way that keeps you involved in the care for Joe. As you read and get to know the characters, you feel so much love from family and friends around to help heal him. The partnership between Sarge and June, aka Chloe, is a little hard to understand at first but it didn’t bother me as much as I originally thought it would. Overall, the book was a new twist to the sci-fi genre and I’m glad I decided to read it.

A story about love, devotion hard work and Aliens! Joe, June’s husband suffers a severe accident leaving him in a permanent comatose state. June cares for him along with her daughters Liv and Cora. They are a tight knit family who works hard to take care of their family their homestead. They are also close with Barb the caretaker. June’s job is to work with extra terrestrial life as well as real estate, research and so many other things. She goes on many missions with her Partner Sarg who she has a strong relationship with. It was pretty unclear if this was because they were also together despite her taking care of her comatose husband or if they were really just work partners which left me a little confused. This is a fast paced story line with a strong female lead in the setting of a science fiction which was a great combination

Ok I have to start by saying Science Fiction is definitely not a genre I normally go for so it took me a little while to find my groove with it but I am very glad I took a chance on something out of my automatic comfort zone with this book and this author. I enjoyed the fun characters and adventurous storyline even though the relationship or Partnership or however you want to class June and Sarge was difficult for me to wrap my head around. I guess it weirded me out because it isn’t something I could ever imagine doing but then when you think about it reading is a chance to experience things, places and adventures you normally wouldn’t right?

First of all, let me start by saying this is not usually the type of genre that I am into, with that being said, I will say that this book was an interesting read. It had a weird vibe to it, but like weird in a good way. I found the story had a fun vibe to it in regard to the storyline of June and Sarge going on missions to help the aliens. I mean…come on…it has aliens, what’s not interesting about aliens! It was nice to see that June’s kids, Cora and Liv were involved in the story and weren’t just introduced and then not really mentioned again. The girls both seemed like great girls, who were very intelligent, especially when it came to the work Liv was doing to help her dad. I did find that the relationship June had was odd and did find myself thinking it was weird that she was with Sarge, they came off as having more than just a partner relationship and friendship. All in all, I found that it was a fun story with adventures they all have, the research that was done, and the unique characters that are introduced along the way.

I found this book very interesting. The story premise was quite fascinating and made me want to dive in and not come out until the story was done. The thought of going on missions to help aliens in spaceships makes me shudder because it sounds claustrophobic. I find the whole thought of space to be that way. I enjoyed the story. I found the characters to be quite intriguing. Considering society as a whole lately, I really enjoyed the story and just pondering things. I like books that make you think, even when they are fiction. I know a couple of people that would enjoy this also so I’ll be getting them copies to read also. Well done!

A science fiction book with a twist. It is all about the healing power of love. The author weaves a tale of a love so encompassing that it actually heals. Subcultures of disabled veterans and disabled people in general, would benefit from a love like this. This is a wonderful read, and it is not typical of the sci-fi genre. I can’t stress this enough- the prologue and the epilogue are essential!

This book tells June/Chloe’s story, along with some of the author’s own experiences making up the body of the story. We read of family, connections, secret missions, alien life, space exploration, time travel, sci-fi themes, new age concepts, and much more. Again, as with his other unique offerings, I appreciate the amount of blood, sweat, and soul that the author puts into his writing, as well as his unique take on things. Interesting read. Weird in a good way. Do I want to be floated up to an alien spaceship? Yes, yes I do. I thought the story was really fun in regards to June and Sarge going on missions to help the aliens. It was also cool that her kids, Cora and Liv were so excited and ready to assist in anything they needed. They both seem like great girls and very intelligent, especially with the work Liv was doing to help her dad. I kind of didn’t like June, and kind of thought it was weird that she was with Sarge, it seems like they have more than just a partner relationship and friendship. I don’t know if I could ever be romantically involved with someone else while my husband was in a bed, and I couldn’t understand why the girls were so okay with it all. Overall a fun story in regards to the adventures they all have, the research done on brainwaves and all of the fun characters introduced along the way.

I’ve read plenty of books by Mr. Stuart Ledwith and all of his previous books have hit a special place in my heart. That has instantly made Mr. Ledwith one of my favorite authors. This book is no exception to his prior books I’ve read from this author. BUT, this book HERE, it is so endearing if that fits. I day endearing because the ghost stories he so carefully selected made me feel so thrilled. Thrilled, because, it wasn’t your run-of-the-mill ghost stories. You can you tell they all came from an open space and to share a special place in his heart. That alone, touched my heart and made my mind intrigued to read the special treasure that this book is.

Again, it is quite unique- a mix of history, insights, and some ‘ghost stories’. Mr. Ledwith takes us on a tour of his local historical cemetery- ‘speaking’ to all the souls he encounters along the way- as well as providing some historical details that give this book an extra element of interest.

Cemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old Yard by Stuart Ledwith was a great read! I enjoyed reading this novel more than his past that I’ve read, maybe because it felt more like fiction, and telling tales than just being a non-fiction book. I enjoyed reading every story that was told from the ghosts. Whether they were real or not, and whether these were just made up or actually told, they were very enjoyable to read, and went by really quickly. I’m glad I picked this book up to read. Definitely a page turner.

This book was really interesting. It follows the authors through his walks through the cemetery. I have read several books by this author and I love the way he retells people’s stories. In this book he tells the stories of the some of the people who are buried there. The good and bad. The loves and losses. And what made them special even if they didn’t realise it in life.
Each person he talks to and retells their story is an interesting person. All with different paths in life and different stories to tell.
The author tells the stories with compassion, never adding facts to make it more dramatic. The stories are genuine written by genuine people who just want to get their lives remembered and known. With the help of the compassionate author they were able to do that.

This is another book by Dr Stuart Ledwith, but is a more lighthearted one which tells the stories of the souls of those buried within the Old Yard in the Riverside Cemetery where the founders of the town he lives in and the cemetery he plans to be buried in with his wife, Baldwinsville, New York, it is a break from his more serious novels, but it is an illuminating look into lives past and the history of the area as told by the ones who created that history.
Dr Stu (as the soul’s call him) encountered these souls as he wandered through the cemetery over the course of 2020 when he went out for some daily exercise, weather and health permitting. He tells their stories in such a way that you can picture the person as you read them, they are from all walks of life and are all ages, genders and races, although some of it you don’t find out until you are deep within their stories, Dr Stu also includes his own story in there and it is a lovely insight into him as a person as well as an author.
This book is a wonderful read to anyone who is interested in history, biographies and people in general, it is an emotional rollercoaster though, so prepare yourself for what it has in store for you, but go in with an open mind and you will enjoy it even more.

This is a different kind of book than I usually gravitate towards. The book is about the people buried at a cemetery in Baldwinsville, New York. There are ghost stories that are conversations the author had as he strolls through the cemetery. These conversations give a view of the life of the people who immigrated to New York around year 1800. The stories share love of family, hardships they experienced, and tragedies for some. The author writes in a way to make you realize those that came before us had stories to share. It is a lovely book.

This book is a bit different than my normal reading genres, but something drew me in to this story from the cover. This book has wonderful ghost stories from the people who are laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery (or Old Yard as called by some). The people who are buried in this cemetery came to America to live the American Dream. I loved each story because it brought a bit of comfort and some reality to each story. It has helped me to see things from a different point of view as well. I highly recommend this book as the stories are well worth reading.

Cemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old Yard by Stuart Ledwith is a fascinating collection of ghosts stories inspired by the authors walks through a graveyard. I found the whole book to be interesting and a well put together collection. This book is less “heavy” and series than other books I have read by him but it was no less well written. Each story was different to the last which made it all the more compelling, especially when you get to 13 1/2 which is about the author himself. While not something I would necessarily pick up usually this book was a brilliant book to read and I would definitely recommend it!

This is different from Stuart Ledwith other books I have read. Cemetery Tour has many true burdrdens of some harash reality. I feel for Mr. Gruder. Kelly Ann oh my god. You are walking through so many different lives in this book.. You feel a glimpse of their lives then its over and you are craving more.

I loved reading the book Cemetery Tour: A Walk Through the Old Yard by Stuart Ledwith. It is a collection of stories that are told by those in a cemetery. The book has heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. There are emotional moments, and I found my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I couldn’t help but grow to care about those whose stories are being told. The author does a wonderful job of making both the characters and their stories come to life. The book is written with enough detail that I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on an emotional journey that you won’t be able to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading it.

I enjoyed this book. This is a collection of ghost stories that are surrounded by Riverside Cemetery or Old Yard as some say. They are around the 1800’s when people were in search of the American dream. Each story is unique and interesting. They are entertaining and draw you in. Since I have devoted so much time writing such serious works as, “John the Baptist: As His Soul Remembers” and “The History of the Universe: As My Soul and I Remember,” I felt the need to write something much lighter in nature.This book resulted directly from my walks through Riverside Cemetery which surrounds the “Old Yard”, the burial place of the founders of Baldwinsville, New York, the town in which I reside. All of the ‘soul’ or if you prefer, ‘ghost’ stories take place in the early to mid 1800s, around the time when the graveyard opened. It was a time when folks were coming from all parts of the world to find their American dream. This book contains many of them.The first twelve chapters are their stories. Chapter 13½ is mine. I’m not superstitious… 9¾ was already taken. This cemetery is important to me in another way. It is our plan that my wife, Carol, and myself will be buried here and I plan to talk to anyone who walks by me. Enjoy!
I have always enjoyed speaking with souls and writing their stories for those wishing to read them. In these times of Covid 19 restrictions I have been walking through my favorite cemetery because it is “The Road Less Travelled” in these times of infection and social distancing. Yes, I wear a mask when live humans walk close to me, however, most of the ‘friends’ with whom I speak are not prone to infection or disease any more.

Ledwith has a very unique way of storytelling and I was intrigued to see this subject coming from him. It was well written and respectful of the underlining subject it was based upon. Some theologians will likely find fault with much of the subject matter at hand. However if treated as a fictionalized dramatization, it is an interesting take on a piece of Christian history. Ledwith is a gifted storyteller and certainly keeps my interest in each story. I look forward to seeing what he writes next.

This was an interesting, historical story about John the Baptist and how his teachings about love and equality helped to change people’s thoughts and beliefs.
It is a heartwarming story as his relationship and connection with Mischa grows but it is also heartbreaking because of the outcome.
Its a story that teaches us that everyone is equal no matter who they are or what they believe and that everyone deserves love and compassion. It is a very thought provoking story especially in the current world.

This is my first book by Stuart Ledwith. The fact he wrote about John the Baptist is interesting. The philosopher Edouards spreads the story of John the Baptist and the message. It is a book that shares insight to the man of John the Baptist. It is not strictly a religious book but one that brings his character to the light. Can a man who paves the way for the Messiah spread more than the prophetic teachings? What was John the Baptist’s life message? I highly recommend this story to see what Stuart Ledwith’s story is about John the Baptist.

This is one of the third books from this author that I’ve found myself enjoying. The author has a way of educating his audience in making his subjects more human than anything else that they are. Very good job placing the characters in a more interesting light than we’ve learned outside of a religious view.

This book is a very interesting look at the life of John the Baptist, I am not a religious person and this is not a religious book in any way, however, I still found it immensely informative and thought provoking.
This story starts with Tiberius Claudius Nero Cesar Augustus, or Tiberius the Great one having a discussion with his emissary and close friend Paternuns Maximas he tells him of the things he has learned while on his travels to Syria, Jerusalem, Palestine and the Judean Desert. They discuss the legionnaires stationed out there, the situation with King Herod, the rebellious uprising of a group of religious zealots and the rising of a Hebrew “King” and a powerful and influential man who will aid him from the Essene religion. They discuss the problems that these different parties are causing the legions and how to remedy it, this is as well as discussing the “God” of these new religions and how his followers have said that they will remove the “invaders” from their lands. This worries Tiberius, especially because it isn’t a god which is known to them or one that they are familiar with.
This is where we first hear about John the Baptist or the “Desert Prophet” and the things that he has done, miracles he has performed and to Paternus, other outlandish things. It is this that worries Tiberius more than anything is that these “god-men” could become more powerful than him.
We next join Rabbi John the Nazarene and learn more about his daily life, who he interacts with, as well as his family and the journey which he will go on with them. We learn that he is a humble man who lives by himself in the desert, he baptises and preaches to the local population and lives a solitary, but enjoyable life by the River Jordan. His peaceful life is then interrupted by a visit from an old friend he has known since school who comes to him with a message. This message is that he is going to be an influential man who will teach people about love and equality, he will do this with the aid of a woman and that this will also be his demise.
This is where we truly learn about the journey he embarks on in the first person as his soul tells his story and enlightens the readers about the messages he brought and his life while he did this. It talks about his thoughts, feelings, experiences and ultimately his death. It is an original concept which is absorbing and wonderful to experience.
