Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander is just like her style of book. A great storyline with some drama and a lot of heat. In this book, Cy is the youngest son of Mr and Mrs Sweet who are the owners of Sweetopia. The workers of Sweetopia are arranging a strike so they bribe Cy to go undercover since no one has really seen him at the park. Cy has to go work a regular job undercover as Marcus Young and find out who is behind everything along with when and where the secret meeting will be. Cy never expected to lay eyes on a woman and be addicted to her immediately. Jolie is The Red Velvet Queen and as soon as they meet, the chemistry is off the charts. Cy has secrets he’s keeping from Jolie and Jolie has her own secrets she is keeping from Cy. What will happen when secrets are exposed. Will Cy be able to turn his back and go to Greece like he planned or will something happen to keep him from going? This is a story you don’t want to miss out on.

This is an incredible collection of stories. The one I’ll be reviewing is Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia) By Phoebe Alexander. I knew going in I’d like this story since this author is in my top one clicks but it’s was everything I wanted and more. While is aptly named I was so in love with both sugar and spice parts. The characters Jolie and Cy were everything I was searching for, complex, relatable and a chemistry that jumped right off the pages. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. The author tells a tale that captured my heart and wouldn’t let go. I’m so excited for more and can’t wait to see where the author takes readers next. I wish I could give more than five stars but five will have to do. I highly recommend this book!

Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander Featured in the Sweetest Obsessions Boxed Set Collection is a five star novel. I have read other books by this author and have loved them all. I love how the world inside the novel was set inside a theme park for families. Almost like a Disney, but the author was able to make it her own. When Cy goes under cover for his parents, the bosses of the park, he has a hard time finding information and hiding who he is because he at first wants to defend his parents but then it turns to wanting to defend the friends he has made that are real employees for the park. I can’t wait to continue this series!

This review is for Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander. I have to give this book a five out of five stars. The story focuses on Jolie and Marcus. Jolie is a strong independent woman that is used to being in control. Her life requires her to be in control and running into Marcus tests that. Marcus has his own motives but when he runs into Jolie his path is questioned. I had a hard time putting this book down it was so detailed and I just felt drawn to these two characters. I feel the need to read more books by Phoebe Alexander.

I am looking forward to reading more of this box set, but the story I am currently reviewing is Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia, #1) by Phoebe Alexander.
What a great beginning to a new series! This is the story of Cyrus, the youngest son of the owners of Sweet Enterprises, and Jolie, the reigning Red Velvet Queen of Sweetopia, the kid’s park owned by the Sweet family. Cy is tasked with going undercover (with an awesome British accent!) in the park to dig up information on which employees are causing trouble for his family. That is where he meets the Red Velvet Queen and sparks fly! Their attraction to each other is undeniable, but as you will find out, Jolie is not what she seems any more than Cy is! Will the secrets they keep and lies that they tell keep them apart? Who will reign supreme when it’s all over? Who will dominate? Dive in and find out while getting to know all the diverse and interesting characters that are brought to life on these pages!
I am really looking forward to the next installment in this series! Phoebe definitely left me wanting more, more, more!

Sugar & Spice Spicetopia #1 By Phoebe Alexander ☆☆☆☆☆ I read “Sugar & Spice” from the “Sweetest Obsessions” Boxed Set Collection. I have chosen to review Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander. WOW where do I begin! This is a contemporary romance novel. There is so much love between Jolie and Cy. But as we all know, a series of events will take place. Starting with Cy as the undercover boss. His job was to find out about a boycott in the family business. Jolie is the single mother of 2 young boys, one of which is terminally ill. She works 2 jobs to support her children, and the medical bills that are piling up. That is all I’m going to say about Sugar & Spice. As I will not give away spoilers, you just need to read this story along with the others in the boxed set.
Phoebe Alexander is one of the many authors, I enjoy reading. You will too! Her story is well written and loaded with some hot and steaming romance. Not just that, she has a way to suck up into her books and keep you reading. Her story also has you falling in love with Jolie and Cy. Real people, real life situations and powerful romance. Take this book and start reading, you won’t be sorry! As for Phoebe Alexander, I’m looking forward to your next book.

Sweetest Obessions is a boxset of romance stories. I particularly likes Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander. This is a great story of how romance can come from the most unlikely of places.
Cy is the son of the Sweet family who own and run a family theme park. They are extremely wealthy but dont treat their staff very well. There is rumours of a uprising by the staff so Cy is sent in undercover to investigate who is behind it. There he meets Jolie who works are The Red Velvet Queen and starts to fall for her but there are things about her he doesnt know.
Jolie is a single mom to two boys. One of her boys is seriously ill. She struggles to pay the medical bills as The Red Velvet Queen so she also works as a mistress on the side to bring in extra money.
With so many deceptions between them and the potential uprising against Cy parents who will he choice and can their relationship survive?
It was a really enjoyable read, the characters were well written. I really enjoyed it.

Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander is part of the collection of stories in the Sweetest Obsessions anthology. This book is absolutely fantastic. I loved how real the charters felt and how completely engaged you become with them. Their story absolutely captivated me. Once I had started reading Sugar and Spice I just couldn’t put it down. This is definitely a one sitting type of book. Phoebe Alexander knows how to write and amazing book and this one is just the latest. It is well paced and utterly engrossing. Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander Featured in the Sweetest Obsessions Boxed Set Collection. I was already a huge fan of Phoebe Alexander having previously read her Eastern Shore Swingers Series, so was excited to read more of her work. This book did not disappoint in the slightest. I truly lived up to the high standards that I’ve grown to expect from Phoebe Alexander. I adored the 2 main characters and their sexual chemistry was off the charts HOT. As always this author has included some very hot and steamy sex scenes. Cy Sweet is the undercover boss, using the name Marcus Young, who is working in the family business Sweetopia to find out who is causing disruption amongst the staff. Little did Cy expect that he’d fall for Jolie Cox (The Red Velvet Queen). Jolie is a hardworking single parent struggling to bring up her 2 boys, one of whom has Cytstic Fibrosis. She hates the sweet family and everything they stand for but totally falls for Marcus not knowing his true identity. This is a really compelling story, seeing Jolie’s struggles to provide for her boys and the lengths that she’s willing to go to, to provide for them. But what will happen when she discovers Marcus’ true identity? Well, I’m not going to give a spoiler, you’ll have to read this fantastic book to find out.

I absolutely adore this author, I really do! I love the fact the characters she writes about are every day down to earth people, especially the females! They aren’t super skinny, tanned with big chests – she opts for the more curvaceous females who are just absolutely fabulous to read about! And the female lead in the story was no exception she was brilliant! A down to earth single parent who has body hang ups like most women but also was learning how to accept her body! Jolie is probably one of my favourite female leads from Ms Alexander; there was just something about her that made me connect straight away! I loved the setting for the story; a sweet theme park – such an unusual setting for a story –loved it! Alongside the amazing Jolie was ‘Marcus’ – I just loved him! I guess I could predict how the story was going to go but I still loved everything about the two characters and the way in which they met and how their relationship went along. There was the usual steamy scenes in the story, as expected with this author and again as usual they are brilliantly written with a great spice level!! I am so excited to see what is going to come next in the book, as Ms Alexander does lead us nicely into a second book in the epilogue! I think it’s going to be AMAZING!!!!!! This book definitely deserves more than 5 stars – I loved every single minute of it!

Sugar and Spice is a fun story. Original and different. Our main characters are the Sweet family, specifically Cy Sweet and their workers from Sweetopia, specifically Jolie, the Red Velvet Queen.
Sugar and Spice is a little different than the stories Alexander usually writes. It’s a little “sweeter”. The sex is still spicy but the actual story is sweet. However, once Cy and Jolie get to the hot tub things just might change and lead to a steamier second story!

5 Star Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander Featured in the Sweetest Obsessions Boxed Set Collection is a pretty amazing collection of stories by some pretty amazing authors. Some I’ve read and there is a few that I haven’t but plan to. With that being said I’m doing my review on Sugar & Spice ( Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander. I don’t even know where to start other than I freaking love this Author she brings the right amount of “naughty “ to her stories. Her style of writing is amazing and I have the hardest time putting it down once I start reading. Her characters are very well developed and easily relatable and sassy.This story is steamy and very hot.The two main characters have a definite attraction to each other and their chemistry is crazy. I read sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander and I always expect great things from Phoebe Alexander and this book was no exception. I loved the characters of Cy and Jolie. I enjoyed the growth and change if Cy’s character through the story. I was also happy to see Jolie open up. This was an excellent story that touched on different issues and gave us all the feels all at the same time. Let’s not forget the moments that made the temperature rise. I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say that this book was a wonderful read and you don’t want to miss out. This author never disappoints! I highly recommend this book.

There’s nothing I can say about this amazing author that others haven’t said already. She’s amazing and all of her stories just suck you in and take you on a journey.
This one just knocked it out of the park (pun intended lol). We meet Cy, who has to go undercover in the family business and find out who is behind some secret meetings. We then meet Jolie, who was just amazing and strong. These two were great and the development between them was fun to watch. I can’t wait to read book 2!

Phoebe Alexander did it again. She has the knack of giving you more than you can even imagine in her stories. Sugar & Spice is no different. Alexander has this unique ability to take her characters and make you feel like you are right there feeling everything they feel. Her characters are fully developed and are complicated just enough to make them real for me. She creates a world that I have been there before and want to go back as soon as possible. This story is about Cy and Jolie. Cy was put in place to work at his family’s child theme park as an undercover boss. Cy picks Jolie out immediately and knew he needed to meet her. Jolie is the Red Velvet Queen who is trying to keep her job. She is attracted to Cy. She is trying to play it on the down low. There are secrets that need to be uncovered and through Alexander’s story telling they eventually come out in the open. Will the future hold a place for Cy and Jolie together? One will have to read this story to find out.

I love anthologies that have stories of variety and lengths. It makes it easy to put down and pick up in between adulting.
Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander is like “Undercover Boss” and “Norma Rae” all rolled up into a quick and witty read. I grew up going to a small, family owned amusement park and that’s where this story took place in my mind.
It has romance and sexy times and redemption. It is a great addition to the anthology.

With a title like Sugar and Spice, and Phoebe Alexander as the author, I knew this would get delicious. Jolie and Cy have an instant attraction but as they work together at a family amusement park, things can get a little dicey what with the fraternization and such. Jolie’s attraction also brings up guilt since spending time with Cy would take time away from her boys. Cy has a secret that could threaten the budding romance he can’t ignore. I’m excited this is the start of a new series so I’m hoping it’s a long one and we get more of these characters.

Sugar and Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander caught my attention when I grabbed this collection. The title, of course, led me to be curious about the story to come. I have read other books by this author and was excited to get another of her stories. This is the start of a series that centers around an adult theme park cast-off remotely. The son of the owners is working as regular crew when he meets The Red Velvet Queen. He is working as a regular staff member despite his family. What will transpire between himself and the Queen? The story is entertaining and fun. I also enjoyed the characters. I also enjoyed the setting of the story. This series could be quite interesting because the setting will lead to some interesting scenarios. I look forward to reading more in this collection and catching more of Phoebe Alexander’s books in the future.

This is a collection of story by some awesome authors, some are my favorites, others are new to me. The book I am reviewing is Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander. I loved this book! Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander:

Sugar and Spice (Spicetopia #1) – Phoebe Alexander
Phoebe Alexander has done it again! I absolutely loved Sugar & Spice. This is book 1 in a new series from Phoebe Alexander and can’t wait to see what else is to come to this series. This book was amazing, it was so good that i read it in one sitting! I was captivated, entranced and totally compelled reading it. It had romance & sexiness, it had emotions and secrets. I loved our two main characters Cy a.k.a Marcus and Jolie. I loved following their journey, reading their connection and chemistry develop and just getting to know each other. It was an instant connection with passion and romance. It was written in the best way as-well as we got each characters POV, It really helped us to get to know them, and what their real thoughts and feelings are.
I hope this isn’t the last we see of these characters and its only just the start of their journey. I can’t wait to see where book 2 takes us and what else this incredible author has to offer!

OH MYLANTA! If you love contemporary romance, especially from the likes of Phoebe Alexander, India Kells, and Dani Rene to just name a few, then you will absolutely have to have The Sweetest Obsessions Boxed Set Collection on your shelf. This contains 25 books from some of you already favorite authors, and I am sure plenty of new ones to discover. I personally started with Phoebe Alexander’s Sugar & Spice, Spicetopia #1, simply because I know her novels are always five star reads and I had to get my hands on it first! I have since started and finished several others that I just adore. I personally will be enjoying many hours of fun and beautiful stories of love from some fabulous authors. I will include a bit more about Phoebe’s addition to the series below, but be sure to check out all of the books and scoop this gem up as soon as you possibly can!
Sugar & Spice is actually the kickoff of a new series, Spicetopia, from Phoebe Alexander. I can tell that this one will be another one of those I will obsess over as each new book in the series releases. I loved how this was written with the same igniting passion and pizazz that I have come to expect from Alexander, yet it was something new and fresh from her all at the same time. Jolie and Cy were wonderful main characters with dimension and history that makes them vivid and believable to the reader. I loved how these two complimented each other and also had the perfect chemistry to keep the reading witty as well. I personally can’t wait to see what will unfold in the coming books. I am sure it will be just as, if not more so, fabulous than this one!

Sweetest Obsessions was an excellent collection of steamy and romantic stories. I loved the variety of authors featured in this set.
One of my favorite stories written by an author I love was Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander. It featured characters Cy and Jolie in he main roles. I loved how with each chapter the author revealed more and more about the characters. I had so many different emotions with her story. Jolie was so strong in her various roles. I also felt that Alexander did a great job on each setting featured in her story.
These books were such a wonderful distraction and all were easy reads. I highly recommend this collection and feel that it easily meets the 5-star standard.

I give Sweetest Obsessions: A Contemporary Romance Boxed Set Collection, 5 stars.
This was a great collection, but the story I am going to focus on is Sugar and Spice by Phoebe Alexander. Cy is the youngest son of the Sweetopia amusement park empire. Never one to settle down or commit, his family chooses him to go undercover to ferret out who is causing unrest among the employees. He does is begrudgingly, until he meets the new Red Velvet Queen. He cannot get her out of his mind and finds himself wanting more. But will she still want him when she realizes who he really is?
Jolie works at Sweetopia as the Red Velvet Queen. The benefits and pay are not great, but she needs the money. In fact, the whole Sweet family is horrible. The only joy she gets is from the new guy in the bakery. She makes him feel things she swore off long ago. But when he finds out the real her, he will bolt — won’t he?
I absolutely loved this story. It’s like nothing I have ever read before. I would have never thought about a romance book revolving around an amusement park with two of the employees. The main characters feel so real and believable. The secondary characters too felt like people I know. Then there’s the story! The author weaves an incredible tale not only of romance but drama too. It’s not only sunshine and roses either, there are tough decisions they have to make — just like real life.
If you like incredibly written romance that is not only hot and heavy, but has so much more, this book and collection are for you.

Sugar & Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander Featured in the Sweetest Obsessions Boxed Set Collection. I read Sugar & Spice and I LOVED it! This is the story of Cy & Jolie. Cy is the black sheep of his family that owns a Adult Theme Park on a remote tropical island. Cy is used to having one night stands and nothing more so when his family picks him to be Undercover Boss to check out how the park is doing and he meets Jolie dressed as a Red Velvet Queen with fake crown with jewels he was struck with her beauty. He can’t stop thinking about her. He makes up excuses to talk to her. She thought he was seasonal help little did she know he was her boss. Will Cy blow his one night stand rule with Jolie or will he be too scared to risk it. The sex scenes in this book are off the charts and will make the temperature in the room go up 1000 degrees! I loved this book!

I just finished Sugar & Spice by Phoebe Alexander and she has done it yet again. Opened up a whole new series to come which is sure to thrill… I can not wait!
I loved the Undercover Boss part of this storyline..I could picture it on my television as I loved watching that show and that made this awesome story that much more real. What was fun was seeing when you can imagine the cameras aren’t running and the behind the scenes where the amusement park prince meets the struggling velvet queen and the spice part of the story begins.
This was an awesome story, it had more than one storyline going on and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire book, which i did not put down once I started. The issues in this book are so so real, I know people in these circumstances and this author hit on so many things that are true struggles today so I appreciated that part of the story a lot.
I loved Cy, his impromptu British accent cracked me up and I loved how he saw what he wanted and went after it and Jolie’s story was definitely not what I expected in a really good way. My heart broke for her but her determination and strength was inspirational. This might have been the start of a fun series and there were parts that were fun..I loved Cy’s “boss” Colleen and really hope she gets to move forward into the rest of this series, I think she would be hilarious in the future plans., but there was a very serious side to this book and it made me love it even more.
This author never ceases to amaze me and her and her books are an auto one click no matter what she writes.

I loved reading the story Sugar and Spice (Spicetopia #1) by Phoebe Alexander. It is a story that pulls you in and doesn’t let you go until the last page. It is a story that has romantic scenes that make the temperature in the room rise. I loved reading about the characters of Jolie and Cy. There is an attraction between them. They can’t stop thinking about each other. He has a secret. What does the future hold for Jolie and Cy? Read this story to find out. Both Jolie and Cy are characters that I grew to care about with each chapter that I read. I wanted them to find happiness. The author does an amazing job in weaving a tale that you won’t want to put down until the end. There are additional characters that are introduced, and I enjoyed reading about their interactions with Jolie and Cy. Don’t miss out on a story that has sizzling hot scenes and amazing characters. I highly recommend reading this story.
