Nite Fire: Flash Point by C.L. Schneider
Four Stars

Nite Fire: Flash Point is the first book in the Nite Fire series by C.L. Schneider. This is the fourth book I have read by this author, which I believe is the total books written so far. I have to say that the world building and character development is well beyond the usual talent of a new author. This book is amazingly detailed and flowed smoothly throughout. I was hooked on the very first page and couldn’t put this book down. The story is filled with action, suspense and mystery. Dalia Nite has fled her home planet and taken up residence in the human world. She is isolated and protecting the humans without their knowledge for them allowing her to stay in relative peace. Things start to get messy when more non human creatures start causing trouble, but will Dalia be able to solve the mystery?
This is a great book and if you like paranormal, I highly recommend this book. I’m looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Surviving Jordan is the third book in the Surviving series by Virginia Wine. This series should be read in order because the characters overlap and also because the first two books are also excellent reads. This just may be my very favorite from Ms. Wine. This book hooked me from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. It is filled with action, suspense and romance. This is Jordan and Ben’s story and it had me rooting for a happily ever after, but I wasn’t quite sure I was going to get it. You will need to read it to find out. This book, series and author are definitely worth reading. I was thoroughly entertained and look forward to reading more that Ms. Wine has in store for us.

The Memory of Us is a new adult romance by Lisa Sorbe. This is not the first story I have read by Ms. Sorbe, but it is my new favorite. When she returns to her home town after the death of her mother, she thinks it is for a short trip, but the memories make her think differently. Weston is the boy, best friend, she left behind when she left town twelve years ago and the first man she sees when coming back. This story flowed well and kept me rooting for Elena and Weston. A Terrible Beauty is the first book in the Fallen Eagle MC Series by T. Birmingham. I’m amazed by the amount of details backed into this story. And how she is dealing with being home from war, but can you really leave war behind? And Lee, also home from the war, trying to get back what he a Summer (Kit) had before the joined up. Four Stars

Tell Me Something is the first book in the Something Series by Aubrey Bondurant. This is the author’s debut book and the first book I have read by her. Ms. Bondurant did a great job with the character descriptions, she gave them some flaws to make them very interesting. The witty banter had me laughing out loud, but there was some emotional turns that had me sad and at some points mad. I enjoyed how the relationship built between Haylee and Josh, but some of the things she put up with I don’t think I would have. It is a great love story with lots of hot love scenes.

Ask Me Something is the second book in the Something series by Aubrey Bondurant. This series keeps getting better and better. You get an introduction to Sasha and Brian in the first book. This book flowed and I couldn’t put it down. To me the emotions you feel while reading tells me how good the book is, and this book had me laughing out loud and reaching for my tissue box. The character descriptions and the witty dialogue made this fast paced story so entertaining I couldn’t put it down. I didn’t want it to end, but now I can start the next book in the series.

Bet Me Something is the third book in the Something series by Aubrey Bondurant. The characters overlap a little, and so far all of the books in the series have been wonderful. I love the way Ms. Bondurant brings the characters to life and makes the reader feel like they are right there with them. I love how the flow of this book is so easy and takes me away from my real life into this world with the witty banter of Kenzie and Colby. They have known each other for ever, will this be their chance at love? I would highly recommend this book, series and author to everyone who love romance! I can’t wait to start the next book in this series. I’m hoping Ms. Bondurant continues with this series because the books are so good and I would hate for it to end.
