Degrees of Control is the third book in the Prestian Series by Via Mari. This series just keeps getting better and better, it filled with action, suspense, mystery and hot romance. This series should be read in order as the books begin where the last book leaves off. This whole series has had me on the edge of my seat. I find myself reading well into the night not being able to put the book down till I’ve read the last page. This book follows Chase and Katarina in safety lock down as the try to find out who is trying to take down her father’s family and Chase and Katarina with them. I can’t wait to see what is coming in the next installment and look forward to reading Ms. Mari’s backlist. This series will keep you coming back for more.

Isabella’s Painting: A Notorious Art Heist Mystery by Ellen Butler is the first book in the Karina Cardinal Mystery Series by Ellen Butler. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Butler, but definitely won’t be the last. I was hooked from the very first page. This is mystery, suspense and romance rolled into one. It also has an unusual aspect, that the story is based on a real life theft. I couldn’t put it down down till I finished because I just had to know what would happen next. The twists and turns had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I really loved Karina’s character and look forward to reading more about her in future books in this series.

A Must For Christmas is the Christmas novella in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. This was a wonderful addition to the series, but I would highly recommend you read this series in order. This book features Greg and Faith Mallory as they get ready for Christmas and bring their twins into the world. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until the last. What’s the Christmas Season without a little stress? It a great seasonal read and I highly recommend this book, series and author.

My Free Life: A Prequel to The Brothers of Camelot is the third book in the My Life series by Necie Navone. This series just gets better and better. I will caution you do need to read the whole series in order or you will miss major parts of the backstory and all of the books in this series are highly enjoyable and excellent reads. This book continues where the last book left off. Alessandra is twenty and away attending University, she is now the Capo Donna of the Family just as her father intended. Now that all of her friends are growing up and falling in love, will this by Aless’s chance to start over herself or is she to entrenched is the Family business to break free.This book like the rest of the series is full of action, excitement, suspense and danger that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat throughout the story. Necie Navone really brings her characters to life in the last book in this series and I look forward to reading more from here in The a Brothers of Camelot series. I have put Ms. Navone on my permanent TBR list. I highly recommend this book, series and author especially if you love Crime Family story’s mixed in with your romance.

Must Be Crazy is the third book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I would highly recommend you read the whole series because they are all really good reads. This book had my emotions all over the place, laughing one minute and crying the next, that to me is what makes a good book great, having real reactions to the story. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down till I read the last.
Skye is going through a rough patch and hold onto a big secret, so when her apartment burns down and Edward comes barreling into her life, things are starting to get a little brighter. Edward is a single parent and really interested in Skye, but will she open up and trust him with her secret?
If you like a great romance, I highly recommend this book, series and author. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series.

Brad is the man featured in this book and he vividly reveals five different fantasies all with different women that casually flow through his life. The stories are short with not much substance, but extremely hot sex scenes. This book is definitely an 18+ book.

Killmore is the first book in the Killmore duet by Martha Sweeney. I have read quite a few of Ms. Sweeney’s books, but this has to be my new favorite. This book had me hooked from the very first page. I read it in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. This book is packed with action and suspense, it had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Laurie (Leia) is such a strong character and a real tough lady. Not wanting to give any of the plot away, because everyone should read this great story without preconceived notions, I highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

Nathaniel is book one of the Dragon Hearts Series by Carole Mortimer. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Mortimer, but it definitely won’t be the last. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of this series. This book really sets the scene for this Dragon Shifter series featuring the Pendragon Brothers, all alpha dragon shifter’s looking for their fated mate before they become feral. This book grabbed my attention on the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last. Chloe is a reporter who discovers a castle while looking for a story in Wales. Nathaniel discovers Chloe walking on his property and the magic begins. I don’t read many shifter books, but I would definitely recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

F*cking Frank is the first book in the Smirk series by Jen Luerssen. This romantic comedy had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until the last. I love hat this book was told in Frank’s point of view. This book had me laughing out loud, which makes it a great book for me, and tearing up at times. It also had some steamy hot love scenes. Frank and Mikey have great chemistry and the story has me rooting for them throughout the story. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Luerssen and I’m looking forward to reading many more in the future.

This book took me a couple of days but it made me think. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more by her. Each essay is a musing of everyday ordinary events and the magic you find when you take the time to look. It made me want to take things in my busy life and slow down and enjoy the little things. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be re-reading it in the future.

Embattled Hearts is the first book in the Lost and Found series by J.M. madden. This is the first book I have read by J.M. Madden, but definitely won’t be the last. This military romance is full of mystery and suspense. I love the concept of the Lost ‘N’ Found Investigative Service and look forward to reading more stories by these brave men. John and Shannon both work for the Lost ‘N’ Found Group, so when Shannon has a situation with a stalker it only makes sense for John to stay with her until the situation is taken care of. The chemistry between the two is off the charts, but John will have to overcome some of his insecurities. This fast paced book is full of twists and turns, and I just couldn’t put it down until the end. If you like military, romance or suspense this is the book for you.

Across From You is a fabulously funny romantic comedy by Amabel Daniels. This book had me hooked from beginning to end. I love when a book makes me laugh out loud and this book definitely hit that mark. Lexi is truly a strong woman with a wicked sense of humor. After having a really bad day, starting with a public breakup she ends up meeting Jackin unusual circumstances. They have instant chemistry and such fun witty conversations. If you are looking for a quick rom/com, this is the book for you.

Imperfect Heart is the fourth book in the Combat Hearts series by Tarina Deaton. This is one of the best series I have read in a long time. This book can be read as a standalone with no problem feeling like you are missing part of the story. However, I recommend you read the whole series because all of the books are excellent reads. This book is Zoe and Tim’s story. The book had me hooked from the very first page and kept me reading long past me bedtime because I just couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. I love Zoe with her feisty attitude and her strong nature even in the tough situations. Tim is a police officer who finds his life turned inside out when Zoe moves in next door to him. The chemistry Zoe and Tim share is white hot of the charts. Like I said above, this is one of my favorite series and I hope Ms. Deaton continues to write more installments in the future. If you like romance, I highly recommend you add this to your. Reading list.

Courage is the second book in The Sisterhood series by Chelsi Arnold. This is a military themed book full of action and suspense. I highly recommend you read the first book in the series because for the pertinent information give about these ladies and the groups background. I knew I would read this book as soon as I finish the first book, but I think this is my new favorite by Ms. Arnold. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page.
This group of women that make up the Sisterhood are all brave, strong, smart and would do anything to help save their country. They lose a member of their team and are looking for revenge, but they also have to work together to save their country and really the world. This book will have you on the edge of you seat, and is full of twists and turns that had me guessing till the end. I highly enjoyed this book and would recommend it, this author and The Sisterhood series.

Degrees of Acceptance is the second book A Prestian Series by Via Mari. This series should be read in order because this book begins where the first book left off. I think this book is even better than the first, which I loved. This book flowed from the first page till the last, and kept me up most of the night because I just couldn’t put it down tilll I finished.
Chase and Katarina’s story continues with this fast paced, action packed installment. I love how this book make you look at things in a different way. It leaves Kate with decisions to make and what she can accept. I’m throughly enjoying this series and look forward to reading the next book.

My Tragic Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel is the second book in the My Life Series by Necie Navone. This series should be read in order, this book starts where the first book left off. This series is intense and full of action. It follows Alessandra as she grows up a Princess in the Canzano crime family. Aless has learned to protect herself and her family from a very young age. When the time arrives and she uses her skills to save her family, it take a big emotional toll on her along with physically one as well. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down till I read the last. Necie Navone has done such a wonderful job giving background on the plot and extensive character descriptions, that I felt I was right there in the story as I was reading. I look forward to the next book in this series to find out what happens in Aless life and how this series is related to the Brothers of Camelot series. I highly recommend this series.

Calling the Curveball: A Lawson Family Novel is a second chance romance by Tracey Cramer-Kelly. This is the first book I have read by Tracey Cramer-Kelly, and I look forward to reading many more in the future. This book had me hooked on the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. The characters and backstory were well laid out and the book flowed so well that I couldn’t believe when I got to the end. I just wanted it to go on forever.
Jamie and Kira’s story is both heartbreaking and heartwarming at times. It had me on an emotional roller coaster that I didn’t want to get off, Ms. Cramer-Kelly’s writing style made me feel like I was right there with the characters, going through their ups and downs. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what comes nextin this series and by this author. I highly recommend this book, especially if you are looking for a great fall romance.

Tomb for an Eagle is the first book in the Orkneyinga Murders series by Lexie Conyngham. I usually don’t read historical books, but this one intrigued me right from the start. This is the first book I have read by this author and I’m looking forward to reading more of this series. This historical mystery held my attention from the first page to the last. I love the of the characters were well defined and the detailed descriptions made me feel like I was right there with the characters. This story was filled with twists and turns, and I loved that it kept me guessing to the very end until I figured out who did it. I highly recommend this book and look forward to books by Lexie Conyngham in the future.

Most Have Faith is the second book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. I have to say this series gets better and better. This story hooked me from the very first page, I just couldn’t put it down. Greg Mallory is a cop in the Darling Cove, struggling to put his life back together after his fiancée left him at the altar ten years before. Faith is the woman who left Greg behind, without a word and now she is moving back to town. This second chance romance had my emotions going all over the place, laughing one minute and wanting to throw my tablet across the room at the next. The chemistry is off the charts and both of them want to deny that they still have feelings for each other. This is a must read book and series by Ms. Garland. I can’t wait to read what she has in store for us with Skye’s story.

Must Love Fashion is the first book in the Darling Cove series by Deborah Garland. This contemporary romance had me hooked from the very first page. The story flowed so well, I just couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. Gwen and Andrew are both strong characters. I love the backdrop of the fashion industry, and the way the author brings New York City, LA and Milan to life. It made me feel like I was right there with them. Gwen had to make a change in her life, so she applied for a job at Prada and became the PR project manager, which entailed working with Andrew. As they learn to work together, the chemistry they have begins to grow, but the both try to ignore it. This book had me laughing at times and hoping the these two would find a way to trust their hearts. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Neverland by Melissa Jane is one of those books that leave you with a book hangover long after you finish reading it. I can’t believe all of the emotions I went through while reading this book, I’m heartbroken, with the life Lucy was dealt, but completely blown away by the strength that was packed into this strong female. I’m not sure what else to say about this book without giving away any that makes this book so significant. I will say that you should pay attention to the warning that comes with it, because it definitely could cause triggers. This is the first book I have read by this author, but I look forward to reading more from Melissa Jane in the future. This is one of best and saddest books I have read this year.

Elegantly Denim: An Elegant Prelude is the prequel to the Elegant series by Tee Smith. This is the first book I have read by Tee Smith and I’m looking to reading the rest of this series and more. This book took me by surprise, it was fast paced with witty dialog, but also a dark side to it. I loved the mix of emotions this book brought and left me wanting to know more about all the characters introduced in this short story. Denim is a most interesting guy, that I want to learn more about him. This story is just the beginning to what I’m sure is going to be a very interesting story. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

Credence Woods is a contemporary romance by Alexandria Sure. This is the first book I have read by Ms. Sure, and I hope to say the first of many. This book hooked me from the very first page. I just couldn’t put it down. This book and the main character Kennedy real hit a soft spot with me. I really felt a connection with Kennedy. Insecurity is such a hard thing to overcome, and I think this story handled the subject extremely well. I love Max! He is definitely my new favorite book boyfriend. This book brought out great emotions for me. You can really feel Kennedy’s struggles with self confidence, and the witty way she thinks made me laugh out loud. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. I’m looking forward to reading more from Alexandria Surein the future.

Redemption is the fifth book in the Ash Park series by Meghan O’Flynn. This series is really amazingly disturbing in the psychological sense. Getting into the minds killers that are twisted and commit horrific acts, is Ms. O’Flynns specialty. This book and series is definitely not for the faint of heart. This book can be read as a stand alone, but I highly recommend you read the series in order because the books are all great reads and you will miss some big parts of the backstory. This book is full of mystery, suspense, horror and disturbing situations. This book is Detective Petrovsky’s story that started ten years earlier with his young daughters rape and murder. This book was filled with twists and turns and I really couldn’t guess who the serial killer was till the end. I hope tha this series continues, and can’t wait to read more from this author.

My Hidden Life: Brothers of Camelot Prequel is the first book in The My Life series by Necie Navone. This is the second book I have read by Ms. Navone, and all I can say is keep them coming. I love the action and suspense that grabs you on the very first page. Alessandra is a wonderful character, who learns at a very young age, six, odd the dangers of being brought up as the princess of a crime family. The preparation her father sets for her to become head of the family leaves her well trading but very isolated. The rest of the characters in this book are amazingly detailed and varied. The writing just flows and I was surprised that before I knew it, it was over. Good thing is there is at least two more books in this series. I can’t wait to jump in and find out what Necie has in store for us next.

Small Town Hero is the first book in the Small Town Brides series by Kim Koby. This is the first book I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more. I loved the easy flow and the lite hearted smooth flow of this romance. The witty banter held my attention from beginning to end. Rebecca and Ryan have great chemistry, even though they try to fight the attraction because they were both on the losing end of relationships. The story is sweet and predictable, but it just made me feel good reading it. It was a great change of pace from some of the darker romances out there and I look forward to reading more of this series in the future.

Ring a True is the first book in the Thick as Thieves series by Janice M. Whittaker. This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely won’t be the last. This fast paced book is full of action, drama, suspense and romance thrown in. I was hooked on the very first page, an$ couldn’t put it down till the last. What can I say, I’m a sucker for a good book featuring thieves. Tru is such a wonderful character, and at the beginning I was thinking Will was the bad guy in this story, however, as the story progresses and we learn more about Will the more I sympathize with him and understood why he did some of the things he did. This was a great story and I can’t wait to read more of this series and author.

I think Hidden is my favorite in the series so far, but all of the books are wonderfully thrilling and horribly bone chilling. This story outdoor be read as a standalone, but there are recurring characters throughout the series and all the books are great reads. This book and series is full graphic details and gritty suspenseful twists and turns that lean toward terrifying, so this may not be the book for some. This series is really hard to review because I don’t want to give anything away, so I will just say if you love books that get into the minds of killers then this is the book for you. I can’t wait to read book five in this series and hope Ms. O’Flynn continues with this series.

Georgia Pine is the third book in the Southern Promises book by K.G. Fletcher. This book can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend that you read the whole series because all of the books are five stars. This book had me hooked from the very first page, and I couldn’t put it down until the very last. Jessica is such a strong women, finding herself on her own taking care of her three daughters. Along comes the sexy gardener, Tim, and the chemistry flairs. The secret that Tim carries may cause problems if he doesn’t come clean to Jessica. The bonding that Tim has with Jessica’s daughter is amazing, and the book has all the feels. This is my favorite book by K.G. Fletcher and l can’t wIt to see what she will write in the future.

The Plot is a suspenseful romance by Melinda De Ross. This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely won’t be the last. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down till the last. Yoko is such a strong woman, made that way by the circumstances in her youth. When things start going her way, being hired by Mark at an antique shop, life starts changing for her. This book had me reaching for a tissue more than once, and I had to struggle with not throwing my iPad across the room at times. I love how this book brought out such big emotions in me. It does deal with sensitive issues like human trafficking and abuse, so may contain triggers for some people, but I think it was handled well by this author. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more by Melinda De Ross.
