Rebound (Rewind #4)Rebound by Rowan Shaw
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love Rowan Shaw’s books. They are all always so different from anything I’ve read. They are a complete breath of fresh air and I can’t get enough of it! Each book in the series can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest reading them all!

Noah’s life is perfect until it wasn’t. After his boyfriend leaving his life just started crumbling into pieces until he so he reaches out to his ex-lover and best friend Adrien but is surprised to the love and support in Adrien’s circle. Can Noah finally find happiness.

I loved all aspects of this story. It was so beautifully written and it’s probably my favorite one yet!

Landing the Lawman (Hills of Texas, #5)Landing the Lawman by Kadie Scott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I absolutely adore this series! Its one of those series that completely fills your heart up throughout the whole book!

Carter is a water writes consultant and her biggest client to date is Logan who helps farms with their water supply. They started as a purely professional relationship turned into a beautiful friendship. Carter is a workaholic. She lives to work and doesn’t take time to do much of anything else. Logan shows her there is more to life than working. It took a series of events for Logan and Carter to finally cross that line they’ve been toeing and finally find the love they were destined for.

I love this series and this book! Kadie writes such beautiful stories and I cannot wait to read more from her!

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m a huge fan of Manda Mellett and This is one of my favorite biker series I’ve read! This book is probably the best in the series so far! The story completely blew me away! I love how Beth is completely shy but she hides that part of herself with this confidence persona. She is completely enraptured with Ink. Ink isn’t looking for anything long term and most certainly not an old lady. The chemistry between Beth and Ink sizzle of the pages. Manda Mellett definitely sent on one dollar coaster ride with this story! I cannot wait for more.

Game of Fear – A gripping psychological thriller with a shocking twist (Fearless Series) by Gledé Browne Kabongo – Review by Susan Mowdy

Game of FearGame of Fear by Glede Browne Kabongo
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Glede Browne Kabongo probably turned into my favorite thriller author! This book took you to a level and then some. I was gibbing my chair and didn’t want to stop reading!

We have Abby who is the model student and human being. Top grades and on her track to Harvard until something in her past comes up. It was something she buried but no deep enough. Someone is calling her out on the events of her past but she has no idea who it is.

I loved reading this book. It kept me on the edge of my seat and it had me guessing who this person could be. I have fallen in love with this book and the author’s writing. The author became a one-click for me!

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3) by Mya O’Malley – Review by Susan Mowdy

Lillie (Maggie Trilogy Series Book 3)Lillie by Mya O’Malley
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I’m a huge fan of Mya O’Malley and her Maggie trilogy! I loved the other two books in this trilogy but she hit it big with the ending of this trilogy! You technically could read each book as a standalone but I would suggest to read them all in order. There are certain aspects to the story that connect through the books.

I loved revisiting Naomi and I loved seeing her grow throughout reading the books. She has solved a series of murders and no longer really wants to be doing this in the spirit world but her connection is far too strong to step away from it. I loved catching up with Bryce and his daughter Holly especially now that Holly has a new friend, Lillie, that poses a real threat to Naomi.

This was such an amazing ending to this series. These books are nothing I have read before and I throughly enjoyed them!

The Fat Girl’s Guide to Loving Your Body by K.L. Montgomery – Review by Susan Mowdy

The Fat Girl's Guide to Loving Your BodyThe Fat Girl’s Guide to Loving Your Body by K.L. Montgomery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The Fat Girl’s Guide to Loving Your Body is completely different from anything that K.L. Montgomery has written before but it’s most certainly a message that hits home. It’s also the best book I have picked up since the new year has started. This is a book to teach us to love our bodies whether we’re fat, skinny, or somewhere in-between. Women are the most self conscience about their appearance and this book tells you to embrace you and your body. I am now fully aware about what I say about myself in front of my children because they are watching. There aren’t enough words to describe how much I loved this book and the message that it gives.

Everyone needs to add this to their one-click list!

Renegade (The Mercenaries #1)Renegade by Raven White
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This is the first book that I’ve read from Raven White and I wasn’t disappointed. Between the action and romance I couldn’t put the book down. The story was so imaginative and I loved the characters. I loved how this renegade mercenary which once was this bada$$ military man now is a body guard fro his best friend’s little sister (I’m a total sucker for these stories). I can’t wait to read more from this series

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, Phoebe Alexander’s books will consume you! Her books are NOTHING I have ever read and nothing can be compared to them! She never sticks with the usual tropes in romance. She makes her own and owns them!

I loved this next installment in the Spicetopia series. Wedding bells are in the air and wedding planner, Natalie takes her job completely serious that is until the minister shows up and completely blows her world apart!

This is probably my favorite in the series so far but I can’t decide as I loved them all!

I was shocked with the beginning with this story but completely fell in love by the end! This story had so much heart and pain mixed in between but the journey and ending were so incredibly beautiful! Forbidden Love: Written by Lisa Jones Gentry as Told by Their Son Joe SteeleForbidden Love: Written by Lisa Jones Gentry as Told by Their Son Joe Steele by Lisa Jones Gentry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Never have I ever read a book like this! This was a beautifully written story about Father Grau and Sister Legocki and their forbidden attraction. Not only is it a priest and a nun frowned upon to have any relationship but they fell in love during the time where it were a black man with a white woman would not be accepted in the eyes of society. I was completely hooked by this emotional journey and one I don’t think I’ll forget anytime soon! You grow to love these characters and I kept forgetting that they took vows and all of this was forbidden and you just wanted to root for their love!

This book is a definite must read!

I absolutly loved this book. It gives the feel of a fun romantic read but there are some serious moments in it that totally pull at the heartstrings. This was a read I’ve been needing lately! This was one of those books that gave you way more than what you were expecting. The character development was amazing and you couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters. This is one of those series that suck you in and you don’t want to quit reading until its over! This is Book 2 in this series and I’ve been waiting to read more about Meda. She is one of those characters that you can’t help but love how strong she really is. After waking up on the beach with absolutely no memory but her name, she sets out to find out the things she can’t remember (Like her entire past). The only thing she does find out pretty quickly is that she can heal people with just the touch of her hands.

I loved that this book carries everything you would want in a book. It has action, romance, suspense, and mystery. It will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end!

He gets tested at every twist and turn thats sent his way. This is the most epic cat and mouse chase I have read yet!

Words can’t express how much I love this series and even Phoebe Alexander’s books. They are always so unique and not one story is the same!

I love how this book was fun and had great banter but also had drama and had this flair of intrigue! Spicetopia is being sabotaged right before its grand opening and Neve and Enya are thrust in the middle of it to try and settle the fires but they start burning one of their own!

Phoebe Alexander has a way of writing beautifully written books that are so unique and they never want to let you go!

Lizzy has the worst luck with men so after a particular horrible break up, she was ready to let loose for the weekend. Her best friend and boyfriend decided that she needed to be hooked up with “a certain someone” which started a whole plan in motion to make her fall for him!

I absolutely loved this first book by Naomi Valkyrie! It completely hooked me from the very beginning and its definitely one of those books that has a complete original storyline! The characters are what make this story. It’s multiple POV but there is so much depth to each of them. My favorite part is the one split second decision she makes and it starts a spiral of events that could expose who she is.

This is the first book in the Valdis series and I’m impatiently waiting for more.

Absolutely loved Run from Love by Teddy Cat Hester. It’s one of those stories that once you dive into it everything else fades away into the background and your real life is put on the back burner. All I wanted to do was read this book until it was finished!

Scarlet has a very strict 6 month rule when it comes to relationships. She is not one that wants to form any sort of attachments in a relationship so at the 6 month mark she ends it. Nick has his sights on outlasting her 6 month rule and he has to work around it so it doesn’t send her running for the hills.

This was such a cute and sweet story. Definitely a one-click and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

I love a good thriller and it feels like forever since one hooked me like this one did! This book is pack with everything that you would want in any book! Action, suspense, and drama were all paced into this story. The one thing I do love is the secondary characters that David Stever writes. They always bring a new dimension to the story!

Johnny Delarosa is back at it again with an infidelity case, because cheating spouses pay the bills, but what he thinks is another classic boring case turns into something WAY more. This is one of those books you just want to dive into without too much information and let it suck you in! This book was the perfect binge read and I cannot wait for more!

I love a good MC but it take me a lot to get myself hooked onto one and this one has me hooked! Each and every story is purely unique and not something you can read in any other series. It first starts out with Melissa and Skull then Melissa and Pyro. So much is going on and so much story that it’s too hard to put down. I absolutely loved this book. Its one of those books that once you start reading it, you’ll push doing everything else off just so you can read another chapter, or in my case, the whole thing! It definitely takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions which is something that you would want in a romance novel. I loved the dynamic of the characters. Rachel has a secret and one that at all cost cannot not tell. Ian is a cop that grew up in a rough house. Rachel is all about the family life and Ian doesn’t believe he can love. I will start this by saying I love this series. Each book will grab you from the beginning and still won’t let you up in the end! M.L. Sparrow weaves such beautiful stories and each one gets better and better! My heart went out to Terri who is a woman who was attacked and she feels vulnerable in its aftermath. She is fiercely independent and never wants to ask for help unless its severely needed. Jet her her BF who she’s secretly in love with. Jet recognizes the interest between the two of them but is worried about the risks it’ll take on their friendship if something happens badly between them. Between the attack and the feelings, what will they do?
