This was a great 5 star read. It took me a bit to get pulled in but once I was I didn’t want to put it down. I really liked Natalie and Grayson, they were great characters and I enjoyed their story, even though they started out not so great. They were both very strong and had some things they were dealing with. As you read their story you get drama, action, steamy moments and so much more. We do also get some twists and turns that put Natalie in danger. Will Grayson be able to keep her safe? Overall this was a great story. The author did a great job with her writing. This is the newest book in the Popov Boys Series. Once again I have no complaints about this book other than I wasn’t ready for it to be over. I love this series and I truly love how well written these characters are and how detailed the plot lines get into the mafia life. Efrem’s goes out as Punk at night and hunts criminals to turn them over to the police. Miranda is definitely a strong female character. She has gone through so much. The last thing she expects is to fall for PUNK, but here she is. Can they get past their age differences to make things work? Once again this is a fantastic book in the series. I definitely have enjoyed each and every one and recommend reading them!

Andrik is such an amazing character. He has definitely been dealt a hard hand and he is very judged by his looks. He has lived a very hard life and has not had anything handed to him. He joined the Popov Bravata and works his way very hard to earn his way up the ranks. In the earns himself a very special assignment, guarding the boss’ daughter. Who also happens to be the girl he has had a crush on in nearly forever. Annika is not a normal Bravata princess, she loves her piano more than people and is confined to a wheelchair. The two develop feelings for each other, however, Andrik fails at his duty to protect her. This turns their lives on their heads again. Once again this mafia story is fantastic. I cannot recommend this series enough. It is filled with steam, suspense and twists and turns!

C. R. Alam has done it once again! True to her nature she has written another steamy, romance novel that follows in The Echo Series. Not only was I excitedly awaiting this newest tale in the series to come out I was so ecstatic to find out it was finally going to find a love interest for the fun-loving Chris Sullens, hotel mogel extraordinaire. I have loved his character since he was introduced in the first Echo Series book when he helped to bring our original love birds together. You will love the fire that burns between Chris Sullens and Rowan Kelly as they fight their obvious attraction to one another, and try not to make a bigger mess out of Rowan’s crumbling inn. Punk is the sixth book in the Popov Bratva series by Leslie Georgeson. As I have mentioned before, I really love this series, which just seems to get better and better with every new instalment. This is a stellar Bratva romance with an age gap OWYM, tension, chemistry, suspense, dramatic developments, family, secrets, sizzle, emotion, and much more. I didn’t expect to love this book as much as I did, as I’m not always a fan of reverse age gaps as I am often left feeling disappointed- but having said that, Ms. Georgeson doesn’t disappoint here crafting wonderful characters who were interesting and endearing. I really loved Efrem and Miranda- they drew me into their story and had me invested right from the get-go. I loved the secret identity element as it added tension and intrigue to the whole story. Add in danger, dramatic developments, twists and turns, action, sizzle, and all the other clever touches- and it becomes a riveting read. This could be read as a standalone, but I recommend reading the previous books before starting on this instalment, as the previous books introduce us to recurring characters, and other interesting and pertinent information- as well as being fantastic stories in their own rights. This is the first book I have read by Liza Snow, the unique cover and one word title drawing me in with curiosity. The synopsis brings mystery into the mix. The Innovator (WaterFyre Rising Book 3) by Nadia Han. This series has been so much fun, full of spice, romance and mystery. This is Grayson and Natalie’s story. Natalie is in town to find out why her father died and why he left her a building called The Prism. Grayson need The Prism building for his project at work and work is what Grayson does, non stop. He’s build a wall around his heart and emotions because of a previous relationship/heartbreak and he’s not about to let that happen again. When he meets Natalie he is instantly attracted to her but she pushes all his buttons too and not the good ones. Natalie finds Grayson very irritating but knows that he may have information about her father and this building he’s left her. The more time they spend together the harder it is to not succumb to their attraction to each other. When Natalie’s ex comes in to town to harm her Grayson is the first one to stand up for her and protect her. Will these two finally figure out they need to be together and will Natalie find out the secrets of her fathers death? This is a turn the pages late in the night book that I loved. Stars Like Gasoline by Jessika Grewe Glover is the first book that I have read by this author, so I really didn’t know what to expect going in. It turned out to be a very intriguing and well-woven paranormal mystery with suspense, slow-burn romance, layers, ghosts, a haunted house, love, loss, drama, danger, secrets, agendas, family, friendship, humour, banter, wit, and much more. Celia is thrust into quite an unexpected mystery involving art heists, a haunted house, a stalker, and buried secrets. Her ability to see ghosts adds an extra element of interest to the story, as does all the clever interconnected details. This story wouldn’t have had the same impact if it weren’t for the stellar cast of characters- all of which were so fully developed. The complex, layered storyline was quite engrossing- and had me following along avidly to find out how things would play out in the end. Well worth the read! Happy Reading…

I was waiting for this book to be released so I could read it. After the much anticipated wait I gotta say 10 out of 10 . Definitely Tied with the second book as my favorite of the series is so far. C.R Alam is amazing. She is hitting all of my favorite tropes when reading. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the new characters that were introduced in the book.the author really gets you to feel every emotion the characters feel. The third book in the Echo series which I think was the best of the three books in the series. This book brought together family connected by blood and by truth filled friendships. Rowan Kelly is working on bringing the the family Inn back to its glory as a promise to her father. Her brother has managed to create a working farm on their land on a quaint Maine island. When Chris Sullens appears on the island to meet Rowan and her brother to help mediate to bring together meeting his friend, things take a turn no one expected. What could go wrong when Chris offers to help with the preparations for a wedding in 2 weeks?
The author has done it again! Her writing is not just about romance but about the whole dynamic of the main characters Chris and Rowan but all the new and interesting friends that come along to create a world the reader can imagine being in. I sure hope that the author has a few more books in the works for the Echo series!

Stars Like Gasoline is an interesting mystery read. I was drawn in by the blurb and got so much more than I expected. Not only is there an art link but a Hitchcockian-style mystery. Celia, an art curator, gets drawn into so many events after buying the house of her brother’s dead fiance. I enjoyed the characters and how they all played a part in the story. This was well-written and kept me reading. I got drawn into the story and everything going on and did not want to put the book down. This was my first read by this author, and now I will look forward to reading more by her in the future. I highly recommend this if you like intriguing stories with mystery, art, and more.
Punk is the sixth gripping book in the Popov Bratva series. It is a steamy Mafia age gap older woman/younger man tale. I am addicted to Leslie Georgeson stories and this genre she does so well. They are dark and twisted with compelling and complex characters. The Popov Bratva series has everything you could want and then some. There is intrigue, suspense, passion, angst, lies, deceit, secrets, betrayal, kidnapping, cheating, steam, turmoil, revenge, action, danger and violence. What a rollercoaster ride Punk is. It is a twisted and dark Mafia story that will have you are on the edge of your seat. Efrem finally gets his story. He is a tortured soul with dark secrets. He lives in the dark earning his signature name PUNK. Hoping to make up for his dark and sordid past. She is suffering through a divorce and wants nothing but a good life for her daughter. There is one thing she wants just as much and that is to find the man, she believes destroyed her family. The chemistry is off the charts between these two, and there is an instant connection, but she has reservations due to the 10-year age gap. All he must do is convince her they are right for each other regardless of a number. Make sure you read these epic books in order you will not be disappointed.

This is the third instalment of The Echo series; This series can be read as standalones as each book focuses on a different couple.
Once again, the author has created vivid imagery of both the scenery and the characters. I found myself picturing each scene with ease and feeling like I had stepped into the story to join them. The writing style used was smooth and flowed very well, making the experience more enjoyable.
I must say that the fake relationship books are up there in my favourites so I was already loving this book before even properly starting!
I loved Rowan and Chris; they had such chemistry! I was most certainly rooting for them all the way through reading. I enjoyed reading about the inn and seeing Rowan and Chris work together and the attempts to remain profession were so sweet. I didn’t have a favourite as I loved both Rowan and Chris equally, they both were strong individual characters.
I found this book the most heart-warming and my favourite so far in the series! I will be looking out for mor by this author.

4.5 stars Stars Like Gasoline is my first introduction to Jessika and her unique way of telling a story. I have never read anything by this author before and I was delightfully surprised. She has cleverly orchestrated a cast of well-developed characters in a tale that will have you checking dark corners as the chills as thrills intensify your senses. What makes Stars Like Gasoline so encompassing is that it has multi-faceted complex plots and storylines. They are carefully woven together to give us the right amount of mystery, intrigue, suspense and some paranormal elements. The characters are just as equally complex and fully realised and delightful. Ghostly encounters, missing artists, an international art scandal, romance, and a stalker and so much more Celia loves her job is an art curator for a museum where she suddenly finds herself thrust into the underbelly of fine art and the art world. It is interesting to read about each painting and piece of sculpture as Jessika’s passion and vivid descriptions brings them to life and makes it hard to believe they aren’t real. I love to watch the British TV show Fake Or Fortune where owners find out if the piece of art they have procured is a real piece by the artist or a fake. It made this story much more relatable and real. The story is beautifully written despite the spine-tingling ghostly encounters that haunt Celia. leaves us feeling as if the characters will invite us into their home for fine wine, good conversation and a few extra secrets after turning the last page. If you love a good mystery, ghosts, with a sweet romantic tale then you will love Stars Like Gasoline.
This book was sooo good and suspenseful. Books that feature ghosts / spirits are not normally my cup of tea but something about this book called to me and I decided to give it a try. I am so very glad I did. Celia buys a house that once belonged to her brother’s fiance. What she doesn’t buy is everything that comes with the house. And by that I mean the spirits and the chaos that ensues. On top of the spirits in the house there is a stalker and a police department that is less than helpful. What ends up is a fantastic book that I definitely did not want to end. I recommend picking this one up as it is so well written and enchanting.

This book is unlike any other romance book that I have read before, largely in part due to the circus performer element. It was refreshing to get a book that can still surprise me, I have read so many romance books that most tend to be similar to what I have read. I enjoyed this story more because it wasn’t like that. The book and the characters were really well written. You could see the development and I found myself pulled into their journey and their lives. I was caught up in everything that was happening, all the turns the author threw out. This was a great book and a strong start to a new series. I am looking forward to the next one.

I enjoyed reading this story. This is a newer author for me which I enjoyed her writing skills and attention to details. I look forward to seeing what is next for her. I found this book to be well written and hard to put down. It is a story full of spirits and haunting. Celia buys a house that once belonged to her brother’s finance. What she was expecting to find was the spirit and the events that follow. This is an engaging story where the characters pull you in from the beginning. They are creative, unique, connectable and supportive of each other. I enjoyed what they brought to the story and how realistic it is. There is great growth with the plot as well as with the characters throughout the story. This is a story that you don’t want to miss. I highly recommend this book.
I love when books intertwine with other books! It gets me in my feels! A fake relationship trope is another favorite of mine and I love the drama and angst it brings while reading it. Makes the HEA that much better. Huge page turner for me and the entire thing was great! I couldn’t put it down. I read this book in one sitting so if that doesn’t tell you that it’s good, idk what will lol. Check this series out! You won’t regret it.

I absolutely love this series! And I LOVE Natalie & Grayson together ♥️ spicy romance books are my favorite and this book did it for me! I loved every page. Enemies to lovers is my favorite trope! Something about the drama and the angst, just grabs my attention! Also having characters from the other books in this, makes it that much better too! And when you have the drama, suspense, action in a romance book..I become obsessed. I love feeling all the emotions! I love spice as much as the next person but a great storyline is what does it for me. Read this series! You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait for more!

Efram, hottie with a hidden secret, and Miranda, stressed to gills with an ex-pain in the ass. These two are made for each other. There is some instant spark there. The fun is reading along as the secrets are found out and how they work through them. The author has a wonderful way with words. Miranda is a strong character and I love how she still shows her feminine ways and vulnerability when she needs to. I loved the plot. I loved the other characters. This is a fun series that works as stand alone or a series.

What an intense story! I jumped in right from the start and didn’t come up for air until I finished the story. The intensity just grabs you. I love the suspense and how the author wrote it into the story. The author does a tremendous job of introducing the characters to us. The plot is out-of-this world. This is a story that just might make you rethink turning those lights off (even if it is a stalker, I’m not telling). This is a definite must read.

One arching theme that I am finding throughout this series is the need to balance one’s dreams with someone else’s. Rowan says it best when she says that she is putting herself first, not taking a backseat to anyone else’s career, and will not expect anyone to take a backseat for her dreams. Finding that balance between the partner’s goals is important. I think that each person is willing to find ways to make both dreams/goals work is HUGE!!
Rowan has a lot going on. Her father disclosed that he has a secret daughter that he abandoned right before he died. He asked Rowan to find her sister. Rowan and her father were working on restoring the family’s seaside inn and is now doing it alone. Rowan recently quit her ‘big city’ job to come back home to run the inn. She also walked away from a 5-year relationship because he was diminishing her. Now she has a limited amount of time to get everything up and running for a family wedding.
Chris is on a mission of sorts. He is on vacation to help out a friend and make a trek to his father’s place for a visit. Chris is actively trying to avoid going to his father’s, hence the favor for a friend. This favor has him checking out a small seaside inn. The friend? The half-sister of the current owner’s. When Chris gets to the inn, he realizes that his preconceived notions of his friend’s half-siblings were all wrong. Now he has volunteered to hang out at the inn and help Rowan with the wedding.
Sparks fly…figuratively and literally. Massages are given. Rings are exchanged.
I have enjoyed each installment of the series. I think Rowan’s fiery nature is one of my favorites. Worth the read! The whole series is. Add to your TBR.

I thought that the aesthetic was a driving force for the book. It started out well for me but I lost the connection around the mid point of the book. I thought that the plot lost a little of its spark for me. The author’s writing overall was beautiful in the area of description specifically with the aerial acrobatics. I will definitely be interested to read the next book.

This series really knows how to pull at the heartstrings. I absolutely love The Echo Series. Unexpected Entanglement was a wonderful addition to the series. Though very much a series these books work well as standalone novels as well. The author is at it again. The ability to make the reader happy, sad, angry, and bring tears to one’s eyes is a gift that not all possess. In saying that and the emotional rollercoaster ride I just finished, this is my favorite book in the series to date. I hope there’s more. Chris and Rowan are wonderfully written. Two characters on different paths when their lives collide. Recognizing the best in one another and using those attributes to make Rowan’s property rebuild and first wedding event a success. Not without drama Bright Head Inn & Farm keeps running into some speed bumps. Patriarch passing, an estranged sister, some cosmetic issues, or the neighbor who’s lobbying for the property won’t prevent them from prevailing. The sister is the reason Chris is there in the 1st place. It’s the other sister he meets at the Inn he can’t keep out of his head and heart. Determined to help he would do anything for Rowan, only if she lets him. The Echo Series keeps you on your toes. It keeps you wanting more. I’ll reiterate that you can read these books without reading the others, however my question is “why would you?” Time to take a dive into these characters’ lives, you won’t regret it.

Another really sweet romance from this author! I don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling anything, but it was an enjoyable read from start to finish. I loved getting to see Chris get his happy ending after all. We even still got to see someone our favorite characters from the previous books in the series too.

This series has been extremely well written and I have enjoyed all three stories. This one follows Chris Sullens. He owns and develops small resorts in some of the most beautiful areas in the world. He finds himself on a small island in order to help Rae, his best friend’s new wife, when she finds out some interesting family news. I like that this book circles back to some of the reasons Rae is untrusting in book one. Chris is flashy and comes from money, but he really wants to move away from that and loves his Eve Collections resorts that he created. When he arrives on the island he is instantly interested in Rowan. She is a red headed, independent spitfire who is running the family inn. Not everything has been easy for her after her father dies and drops a bomb on her and her brother. Chris shows up shortly before they are supposed to throw a family wedding and for some reason offers to help her. He has worked every part of the family business and tries to help where needed. He is there to help Rowan and they find themselves in some unexpected and strange occurrences. I loved the setting of this book so much and can imagine the small island feel, the inn and all the land, and the characters who live on the island too. I enjoy when an author writes books based on different characters but with overlapping stories so I can still read about the other characters.

I thought this book had everything needed to be a good read. There was the long lost sibling no one knew about, the will that showed the property should Be spilt between the siblings Including the new one they didn’t even know about. The unexpected attraction between Rowan and Chris. Lots of suspense!!! I thought this book was perfectly written. Rowan is such a strong character but with Chris by her side to protect her and help her, she is unstoppable. At first Chris seemed to want to get in, see the facts and then get out but he vowed to stay and help and he did just that.
