This is a lovely romance with a suspense factor. The story is good. The characters were easy to like. Matt, the town doctor and eligible bachelor has found a women who interests him. At one time I thought he was A bit on the stalker side in his pursuit of her…but at least she didn’t think so. I do like that he is single minded enough though and doesn’t give up on what he wants.

These two live in a small town where everyone know everything about the townies. Rumors fly about and are shared with over a beer at the bar or shopping around town. This is what causes the secondary part of the story take over. I almost enjoyed this plot path better than the romance side.

Overall this is a good read. Not my fav by this author but still interesting enough to keep you engaged.

Drawn to him by Tammy Mannersly is a really enjoyable read. At the beginning of the book it seems like it will just be a romance novel however it quickly develops into a thriller. Erica has decided that a relationship is off the table, she is determined not to commit to another man until she meets the handsome local doctor. Matt is drawn to Erica and is determined to change her mind when it comes to romance. However, someone else in town has their sights set on Matt and is not going to let anyone get in their way. I really enjoyed the storyline of this book, I am intrigued by the secondary characters too, particularly the two best friends of the main characters, Seeley and Nate. I would recommend this book to lovers of romance and mystery. I loved the fact that this book kept me guessing right until the end.

Drawn to Him is a feel-good easy romance by an Aussie writer Tammy Mannersly. I was feeling for some romance and I love Aussie writers and I had read one of Tammy’s other romances (second chances one) so I felt pretty good when picking up the copy of Drawn to Him. I was not disappointed! She delivered for sure AND in addition to the romance you could close your eyes and pretend that everyone was speaking with an Aussie accent and feel as if you were there, down under!
Drawn to Him gives us Erica, an art teacher and art store owner, and Matt, a mall country town doctor. Erica has sworn to stay away from love after all those failed relationships so she is not too happy when she feels that crazy electrifying connection to the doctor that is taking care of her after the injures herself. Matt is wishing for love but the way the single young women go after him, well, it is a bit unnerving and as it turns out his gut feeling was not wrong! Mix together exhilarating attraction, past failed relationship, a dangerous secret admirer and you get a romance that strikes a balance between a drama and easiness and you will not hesitate to pick up Tammy’s book in future!

Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly is a small-town romance. The story is about Erica and Dr. Matt who meet by chance. The two feel instant chemistry. Both have had their hearts broken in the past, will they be able to put the past behind them? I instantly liked the characters, especially Erica. She is smart, independent, and not caught up in all the small-town drama. I found this to be a quick but delightful read and wanted to see how the story would progress. This was a cozy story that I curled up to read. I look forward to reading more from Tammy Mannersly in the future.

I loved everything about this book from the GORGEOUS cover to the beautiful and gripping romance story within it. I had high hopes with the cover but they were easily exceeded while reading. This author is fairly new to me one and I have to say that excites me because I have a few other novels of hers to check out soon. This is one that left me with quite the book hangover and I know the cure is to find another to devour. I love how this was a simple easy Sunday afternoon read that I was able to dive into poolside. It kept with me and I found myself reading it in one fell swoop. This has the story of Erica and Matt and these two are some very loveable characters. I was invested and hopeful for them to find that happily ever after. Will they? For that you will have to devour this gem for yourself!

Sometimes it’s the small town setting that leaves you with big time romance. This story takes you there.

Dr. Matthew Garrick has moved to a small town and has work on his mind. Then in walks Erica Townsend. Just your average clumsy, hard working artist. Both have no idea what is in store for them. Erica, independent and strong she can do it herself. Where Matthew is just looking to get away from his past, and start over. A wing man, really? Anyway these two are so unknowing yet so interested in each other. Oh lets not forget there are other singles looking for their HEA.

I am pleased I read this story of love, by Tammy Mannersly. Her story had all the feels. You will laugh, cry, and even go to the extreme during the rollercoaster ride. Story is well written and easy to follow. I love her characters, but who couldn’t fall for Matt and Erica. I give my full 5 stars for this entertaining story. Now on to look for more by Tammy Mannersly.

A new to me author that a friend recommended that I read. I will definately read more from Ms. Mannersly. She pulls you into the small town setting and really gets you familiar with the people and makes you feel like you are in the story watching the whole thing unravel in front of your eyes. Matt and Erica really were cute with all of their awkwardness and flirting.
Really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more.

Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly a five-star read that will draw you in. This is such a captivating small-town romance, the characters are great, including the secondary characters and that is something that really makes a story a hit for me, I get so bored when we have amazing main characters and then secondary that are just flat, I am so happy that Tammy Mannersly does do that, and the setting is just sublime, it adds an extra dimension to the story for me. Erica and Matt will warm you up, they will make you smile so much, they bring a warmth to the story, even when they don’t feel the need to share the warmth. This is a great story and one you would be sorry to miss.

I found myself pulled into Matt and Erica’s story from the beginning and it held me captive up to the last page. Erica has been burned in the past and is not in the market for a relationship. She has sworn those off. Instead, she focuses on the passion of her work at the local art studio and supply store. Matt recently moved to their small town and is a doctor. He has found himself playing wingman to his best friend Nate which, as of late, is starting to bore him. However, he is also not in the market for a relationship.
A clumsy accident leads Erica into Matt’s office and there is an immediate attraction between the two. While hooking up and keeping it casual is what they agree on, each fights their own reservations about love and relationships along the way which keeps them from exploring what they could really be. When the local single women see Erica and Matt together, they are not too happy…and someone makes their unhappiness known. Can Erica and Matt find out who is behind the mysterious packages and phone calls? Can they put their pasts behind them to explore their future?
I really enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Erica is a strong woman who is set in her way. Matt is determined to make her want him and want something more than a friendship. I enjoyed their banter and pulled for them to make it happen. This is my first book by this author…but it won’t be the last.

I thoroughly enjoyed this heartwarming romance by Tammy Mannersly and the story took me to sunny Queensland where the novel is set. In a little town called Montville, on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, art teacher and owner of Unique Art Boutique, Erica Townsend has had one too many failed relationships and so has sworn off love. Meanwhile the women of the town are all gossiping about the very handsome new doctor, Dr. Matthew Garrick. It’s not until Erica has an injuring which results in her visiting Dr Garrick that the two meet and they both feel the instant chemistry and attraction between them. However, Erica remains wary but Matt is determined to win Erica over and prove that if she takes a risk on him and on love, then they could both be very happy together. Unfortunately Matt has a secret admirer who gets increasingly more dangerous the more time Erica and Matt spend together. This was a real feel good novel with enough drama in the storyline to keep me turning the pages and wonderful characters that I felt invested in. I loved Matt and Erica and was totally immersed in their romance and was cheering them on to their happy ever after.

Such a great read. The story was wonderful and had me hooked, and the characters were nicely written as well as likeable. I really liked Erica, she is strong, independent and just an all around awesome kind of girl. She has had her heart broken in the past so I understand her hesitance to get involved with anyone. I love Matthew. He is really into Erica from the moment they meet, it’s the old love at first sight thing. He will do anything to persuade Erica to give him a chance. His determination and love towards her really made me fall for him all that much more, and I think it is so sweet with just one small first kiss he is madly in love. I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow and the secret admirer twist was a nice touch, especially since it wasn’t an admirer for the person I thought it would be for. I highly recommend this book to any romance lover. I can’t wait to see what is next with this author.

Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly is a fast paced Romance story that I absolutely loved reading. I found myself lost in the pages trying to figure out what was going to happen next. I’ve read other books by this Author but this one is definitely going on my favorites list. This Erica and Dr. Matts story, she’s a woman who has been hurt in past relationships and has vowed not date and he’s the new Dr. In town and he’s not found “the one” yet. Erica gets injured at work and ends up at Matt’s office. There is definitely attraction between these two. What does the future look like for these two? Can Erica let Matt in? What happens when there’s a secret admirer added to the mix? I highly recommend this book.i can’t wait to read more from this Author.

Drawn to Him is a great romance story by Tammy Mannersly. I’m a total sucker for a great romance story and took a leap of faith in trying out a new author (for me) in Tammy Mannersly. I’m so glad that I took the leap as I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
The two main characters Dr Matthew Garrick and Erica Townsend are both fantastic characters. Matthew is the hot new doctor in town and has set every woman’s heart aflutter. Erica is the local art teacher whose art classes grow in popularity when Matthew joins.
In addition to the 2 main characters there is an excellent secondary cast, in particular Matthew’s mate and fellow doctor Nate and Erica’s best friend Seeley. Both of these play much more than bit part roles and add a great deal to the story.
It was such a nice change to read a book that is set in Australia as most books I read are set in the USA, with a few set in the UK. It was a welcome change of scenery.
I loved the story line of this book. I was drawn into the story from the very beginning and was rooting for Erica and Matthew as they seemed perfect for each other. The author keeps you engaged throughout and you just want to keep reading to see how the story ends. I’d definitely recommend.

I loved reading the book Drawn to Him by Tammy Mannersly. It is a story that hooked me in from the beginning and I just couldn’t put it down. It is a wonderful romance book that will warm and touch your heart. I loved the characters of Erica Townsend and Dr. Matthew Garrick. Erica is an intelligent, independent woman who has learned from the past that resisting love is the way to not get her heartbroken. Matthew is a new doctor in town who has not found the right woman for him. Then he meets Erica. There is an instant attraction when they meet. There are sparks and chemistry that can’t be denied. Will Erica give Matthew a chance to show her how much he has fallen for her? What will happen when a secret admirer gets thrown into the mix? Will there be a HEA? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about Erica and Matthew and wanted them to find happiness. There are very romantic moments as well as times when I was smiling and laughing out loud at the interactions between the characters. I enjoyed reading about Erica and Matthew’s best friends and the support that they provided. Don’t miss out on an exciting, at times mysterious, and entertaining story. I would highly recommend reading it.

This is a shorter romance story that I enjoyed. This is a romance story about taking risks with love. This author continues to impress me with her writing skills and her attention to details. I enjoy being pulled into the story from the beginning and this story is no different. The characters brought the story to life and made it easy to read. This is a fast paced story that is engaging and kept me turning pages. Erika is a teacher that is determined to not fall in love. That is until she gets hurt and meets the new doctor in town. Dr. Matt is not necessarily looking for love but when he meets Erika he changes his mind. Now he is determined to convince her to take a risk on him. What will fate have in store for them? Will a secret admirer change things? This is a really great story that I highly recommend.

Erica Townsends’ love antenna radar is turned off because she’s had a tumultuous past with love. Matt, on the other hand, draws her in with his bedside manner and she second-guesses everything she’s felt before especially when it comes to him. Where does that leave him in her eyes? Matt wants something more and a single touch by Erica sends him off into a tailspin to want something more with her. As the two fight their intuition on what they think of love, will they go the opposite way and wind up where they always wanted to be after all?
This is a beautifully written story filled with steamy innuendo. You love how electrifying their intensity draws not only the reader in but their love for one another. Great, intense, steamy and romantic book!

The Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly – Review by Jenni Bishop

The Right BrotherThe Right Brother by Tammy Mannersly
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Right Brother is the first book I have read by this author, Tammy Mannersly. It is a quick read short story of mystery and drama, some humor and love. The story is told in dual points of view, which I love, as we get to find out what is happening with the characters as the story unfolds. There are many twists and turns and major manipulations in this story as we uncover the truths behind what one powerful man truly plans.

Gwen has decided to accept the invitation from a student’s father, David, to spend Christmas with them. However, when Gwen is greeted at the door by Blake, she finds not all is as it seemed it would be. Now she knows should she stay or leave? Is there more at play here or should she give the benefit of the doubt? Gwen has been warned of true intentions but she fails to heed the warnings. Now the one thing Gwen loves the most in this world, is the one thing being held for ransom, if she does not go along with his plan.

Which brother is the right brother? Will Gwen be able to discover in time what the plan is? Will they be able to beat the master at his own game? Will Gwen be able to get out of his clutches? What does he really want? Does games, power and money really mean more than love?

I look forward to reading more from this author!
