This was the first book I read from this Author and it actually surprised me. I was skeptical at first but intrigued by the synopsis so I figured I would give it a shot and I’m so glad I did. This book kept me on my toes but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a bit of adventure mixed up in their books of choice. 4 out of 5 stars

This book is jam-packed with action, mystery and intrigue as we follow our main character on a quest for vengeance. I enjoyed reading it from the beginning to the end. You’re enthralled with Tanuja and the way the author makes you delve deeper into the story of how she must protect her brother all while staying awake to make it happen. I recommend this book any day for the action alone. But to the mystery draws you into the backstory. This is most definitely a great read!
This was a bizarre book, with a pretty crazy plotline in which Tanuja Ramachandran becomes an instrument of retribution against the criminal underworld after her husband and children were murdered. Having lost everything, she’s out for revenge. It is fast-paced and action-packed but didn’t have much substance in terms of theme or message, so I found myself skimming a lot. It’s chaotic and violent and like a comic book, or more specifically, manga. The plot was confusing, but the writing itself wasn’t terrible.
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter-Seeker, by Kumar Sivasubramanian drew me in from the cover art. It is so bizarre, I figured it had to be good. This is the first book I had read by the author, but it seems like the 26th book in the series. I am curious to see what all the author has written prior to this, to have that long of a series. But, I wouldn’t be surprised by anything. First impression reading the book, I felt like I was reading a Quentin Tarantino movie. There was so much action going on, and it seemed to be totally random and not at all making sense. But slowly, it all fit into place. So give it time, be patient. Still totally strange story line, but entertaining none the less. Tanuja is seeking to find the truth behind her family’s murder, and her trek to get revenge. She and her brother are on a mission to find the creator of a mutant monkey from her past. They find themselves in Canada, trying to infiltrate a roller derby team. Another review summed things up perfectly: “an original tale of a gun blazing, sari wearing, narcoleptic woman, who has lost it all and is out for revenge.”
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian was a refreshingly new read. I have been reading a different type of crime novel and this was a great twist. I enjoyed the pacing, it has become something I look for when reading. I enjoyed all the twists and turns that came up while reading. The story was action packed and fun to read.
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker is my first book by Kumar Sivasubramanian. It is a fast pace moving book. I did read it from page one to the last page in one sitting. There were times I reread the previous paragraph to make sure that I understood what was going on. There was a roller coaster ride with the main character Tanuja Ramachandran. She was a strong character that had a tragic family event. Her family was killed and she wanted revenge. Her character was interesting because there were challenges ahead of her. Will Tanuja get the revenge she wanted or will she fail? I recommend this story and see what happens with Tanuja.
Wow what a story. It has a mixture of everything from a trained assassin that falls asleep on the job, to a roller derby team with super strength and a monkey man.
Tanjua is a assassian with a difference, she falls asleep during an assignment. But she is good at her job. When she is sent on a mission to capture a criminal that she let escape after a last sleep episode her brother is added to keep an eye on her.
However things aren’t as straight forward as they seem. Added into the mix is a roller derby team and owner and a mad scientist building an army of Monkey Men.
Can she succeed in her mission to capture the person she needs to or will things and situations arise to stop her
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian is a crazy, exciting ride. This book caught my attention just by the first glimpse of the cover I knew this is one I had to read. The story is wild, exciting and kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoyed the character Tanuja. She has a tragic story and has since been made into a weapon of destruction and retribution. She is an amazing character to follow and kept me reading and wanting to know more of her story. I recommend this book to anyone who is looking for something different, fun, action-packed to read.

Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian was an action packed and unique story. I really liked how interesting the characters were and enjoyed the bit of humor mixed into this story. I enjoyed the author’s creativity and writing style. The main character Tanuja was different than your typical female heroine. It cracked me up how she just fell asleep with the beginning action packed situation at the start of the book. She had excellent yet tragic backstory that helped shaped her character. She was fun to follow. I enjoyed the detail of this novel as well. Overall it was a fun read that I enjoyed. I definitely recommend this book.

Tanuja Ramachandran the Hunter-Seeker series written by Kumar Sivasubramanian Is the first book that I have read by this author. This book is full of action and keeps you on your toes its also a page turner. The characters are amazing and strong and look out for each other.
We find out what happens when Tanuja’s family is murdered and she seeks revenge, but will it push her over the edge we get to see her transform into an instrument of retribution against the criminal underworld. Now, years later, she is a devastating weapon, honed and armed to the teeth, and kept in check only by a fraying leash in the hands of the Embassy of India in Montreal. She is in pursuit of an international terrorist unearths connections to a now-dead mutant monkey creature that nearly killed her a decade earlier With her brother in tow, on her mission to find the creator, she discovers a seemingly superhuman roller derby team harboring a dark, violent past and a sinister agenda that could topple the government of Canada at the highest levels. But will Tanuja’s single-minded hunger for payback drive her to sacrifice her sanity and her own brother while the fate of the country hangs in the balance? This was a great book… Tracy @tracym
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian. This is a great story. It sucks you in from the very first page and you won’t want to put it down. Its the story of Tanuja Ramacandran whose husband and children were murdered and she turned into righting wrongs in the criminal underworld. Tanuja has a medical problem that does not help her job. She is set on revenge and during her quest she is attacked and almost killed by a creature that she and her brother try to find because they believe that it might be the terrorist they are looking for. If they don’t find him soon they are afraid it might take over the Canadian government. Will Tanuja’s need for revenge mess everything up. This book is awesome and it will take your breath away in places. Buckle up you are in for a wild ride!
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter-Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian is a fast paced and complex book. This is not the type of book to read casually, I feel that it is one you have to really pay attention to in order to fully understand what is happening. I really didn’t know what to expect going in to this book: it was a new author to me and the description really didn’t seem to give anything away. I can definitely say I enjoyed it overall. It was fast paced and full of action. There were times when I found it hard to keep up with, and a little confusing, although these were outweighed by the enjoyment. A good book but not one to take lightly I would definitely say it is worth trying.

It’s fast paced filled with action with characters that capture readers attention. I really like strong characters and Tanuja definitely brings all the strength she can to this story. It’s a well written and thought out storyline. I’d definitely recommend this book. And I’ll be looking into more from this author. Four stars and highly recommended.
Tanuja Ramachandran Hunter-Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian is the strangest bizarre and absolutely crazy story I have ever read. It is an original tale of a gun blazing sari wearing narcoleptic woman who has lost it all and is out for revenge. It is fast paced, and action packed and did have me laughing. The whole story was ridiculously set around covert operations and violence, revenge and chaos, adventure and let’s not forget the superhuman roller derby team. It was like a bad comic book with lots of players/characters and I most certainly got lost with their names and at times the story in general because there is a lot going on.
If you like something a little crazy and mad, comic and anime with a little bit of revenge thrown in then this is for you.
Tanuja Ramachandran:Hunter-Seeker by Kumar Sivarsubramanian was quite a surprise. I have to confess when I first started reading it, I thought this is the craziest thing I’ve ever read, and I must say I had my doubts about it. As it turns out it was crazy good. Our main character Tanuja is one tough gal, made even tougher by the fact that she has narcolepsy. Not what you would expect by an ultra-bad James Bond type gal. Tragic thing have happened in her life that drives her, and she is teamed up with her brother Max to do a job. It is a very touching note to the story that no matter how far out there his sister is Max believes there is redemption for her. To sum it all up, this was a story well worth my time and I think I want to follow Tanuja on more of her adventures.

I feel like I might have understood better if I read the rest of the series first, but it wasn’t hard to get into at all! Great characters and character development! It was very entertaining and I would recommend reading this book!
Wild and fast paced, this story kept me on my toes from beginning to end. I wasn’t sure what exactly i would encounter with this new author. But I loved every action packed page. The imagery was vivid and the characters were very engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed this caper and hope to read more from this author.
Tanuja Ramachandran: Hunter-Seeker by Kumar Sivasubramanian is a crazy and at times, madcap, action adventure. It felt like “Machete” meets “Monkey” (TV series) then mixed with high octane Anime, and all wrapped up in a Bollywood action movie. Add in a quest for revenge, a fast pace, violence, an unorthodox covert operative/mercenary, roller derby, mutants, and narcolepsy- and it was one heck of a crazy ride. I read this book a few days ago and I am still thinking about it- and wondering how I really feel about it. There were times I laughed out loud. Other times were intriguing and intense. There are a lot of characters, quirky and interesting (some with very hard to pronounce names), a fast pace, and a LOT going on- so there were a few confusing moments for me. And times where I was pulled out of the story while I figured out how to pronounce a name. This is just me though- and others probably won’t have these same issues. It didn’t detract too much from my enjoyment of the story though. Very original!!
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It is full of action and sitting on the edge of your seat moments that left me turning pages. This is a well developed story that is about revenge and payback. The characters are strong and supportive of each other. Find out what happens when Tanuja’s family is murdered and she seeks revenge but will it push her over the edge? She is a strong character that is determined and really makes the story flow. I highly recommend this book.

There is action that is non-stop and danger around every corner. The storyline is one that pulled me in, and I enjoyed reading about many of the characters. Tanuja Ramachandran is an interesting main character. A tragedy has transformed her into an instrument of retribution. Tanuja is strong, intelligent, and determined. She also has a medical condition that at times works against her. Tanuja is after an international terrorist. During her mission, she comes up against a creature that had nearly killed her. Will Tanuja find the terrorist that she is looking for? What does the future hold for her? Will her need for vengeance work against her? Read this book to find out. I enjoyed the amount of detail that the story has. I felt like I was right there with the characters. Don’t miss out on a book that will hook you in from the beginning and have you turning pages. I would recommend reading it.
