Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders. This author has quickly become one of my top favorites. This story was just another fantastic addition to why. The characters have a chemistry that leaps off the pages. Their story is one you don’t want to miss. They pulled me so completely into their world I was happy to get lost with them for a while. This is a shorter read but I didn’t feel it was hindered because of it but I’ll always wish books are longer, that’s just the reader in me. It’s well written and paced nicely never feeling rushed or lacking anything. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

This story about Sidney and Quinlan starts with a chance meeting. Sidney could have never guessed the tall, handsome man she met on the train one night would turn out to be her new boss the next day. Can their chance meeting be for the best, could it turn into something more? How can they manage to keep their attraction a secret from their coworkers? Do they really have what it takes to make it through a rough situation from Quinlan’s past? All these things and more will hook you into the story from the beginning. This is the first book I’ve read by this author. If the rest of her books are this good, I’ll be sure to check out her other books.

What happens when you have a chance of a promotion but in a flash it’s gone. Of course get drunk and have a conversation with a stranger on a train, what could go wrong????

Sidney is expecting the editor job, when her boss decides to retire the job becomes available but when a shock announcement rocks her world, she wonders if life is purposely against her. Until she meets a stranger on a train and pours her heart out to him, they only thing will it be a chance meeting or something more.

Quinn has been given the editor job within a World Tripping Magazine and maybe this is the role he has been looking for, until on his first day in walks the girl who he has not been able to stop thinking about since the chance meeting on the train, the only problem is he is the one is bitter towards for taking her job.

As the story continues through you get to see the relationship between they and what can blossom into beautiful partnership. The story is well developed story with brilliantly characters. I love the way the story takes its turns and from enemy to lovers is always a great story.

The chemistry builds and will have you turning the page to see what happens, although it is a bit predictable in the narrative it is a great story.

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders

I was intrigued when I read the synopsis. There was something that grabbed me and I’m glad it did.  Ms. Anders is a new to me author, so I wasn’t sure what her writing style was and was happy from the very beginning with her style.   I tend to lean towards the funny and sarcastic characters and Sydney was definitely one of those.

I loved the way Sydney and Quinlan meet, there is something charming and sort of realistic about the scenario.  I think of all of the supporting characters Kady was my favorite.   I mean who could not love someone who is in the Marvel.

I look forward to browsing through Ms. Anders other books and reading more by her.  If any are half as enjoyable as this one i know I will enjoy every moment

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders

This is the first book I’ve read by Anders. I’ve got to say this was a great read. It’s been awhile since I’ve read a book within a setting. It was hard to put down.

Sidney, aka Sid, is a designer who doesn’t get the time to present her presentation. She gets it all off her chest after a few drinks. Then they get a new boss. The quote I chose for Sidney is: “And then, our new Editor in Chief steps out on stage and it’s Prince F***ing Charming!”

Quinlan, aka Quinn, is new to the staff. He was born and raised but moved away. What happens when he meets someone new. The quote I chose for Quinn is: “Why is she crazy? Is she trying to tell you that the coffee here is delicious?”

Highly recommended for romance lovers.

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders was a wonderfully sexy and fun contemporary romance. I always enjoy Ms. Ander’s books, and this one was no different- it is definitely one of my favourite reads by her.
From an unexpected encounter on a train, as Sydney vented about her job to a handsome stranger- Sydney and Quinn could have never predicted how their worlds were about to collide. Secret and steam. This is an office romance with all ingredients to make a fun read.
Looking forward to more from Ms. Anders in the near future…

Thank you, Tarrah Anders!

This book was a quick read for me. I found the story to be fun and romantic. Sidney decides to go have a few drinks after having a really bad day. She finds herself telling all her woes to a stranger she meets on the train. Quinlan is Sidney’s new boss and as it turns out is the same man she met on the train when she was drunk. The chemistry between these two is off the charts. There are some hurdles for these two that they have to overcome in order for their relationship to work. I enjoyed this story and read it in one sitting. I recommend this book if you want to find out what happens between these two wonderful characters.

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders is a fun and romantic story perfect for losing yourself in. It is a quick and easy read, exactly what is needed for that lazy afternoon.
I thought the story overall was a fun and entertaining one, if a tad predictable at times. However I thought the characters were strong and well written which made up for that and meant I fully enjoyed the book regardless.
I always enjoy this authors writing style and how each book has a different feel from the last. They are all distinctive and yet have the same common feature about them – the fact that they are all great!! I would definitely suggest you give this author a try and this would be a great book to start with.

What a refreshing romance. I love that this couple built their relationship on trust, humor and communication. Quinn and his secret almost cost him the love of his life. He has fallen hard after meeting Sidney, the drunk lady from the train. Little did she know her new boss was who she poured her unhappiness with her job to. What a sweet funny romance.

Tarrah Anders wrote this fast paced romance. Her story built this relationship that became true to life. We all want to find that one special person to trust, In this story you will find hope. The characters are so familiar, ones you would friend if you had the chance. I fell in love with them all. I will definitely be reading more from Tarrah Anders! Well done Tarrah Anders, well done!

Love Surreptitiously is a great contemporary romance by Tarrah Anders. I had previously read a few of Tarrah Anders novels and had enjoyed them so was looking forward to more great writing, characters and storyline in this book. I’m glad to say that I got it. This is a really great read.
When a chance meeting on a train on the way home from work sparks interest from both sides, Sidney Matthews and Quinlan Montgomery both brush it aside as they will likely never see each other again. So what happens when they both go to work the next day and discover that Quinlan (Quinn) is Sidney’s new boss?
I thoroughly enjoyed Quinn and Sidney’s story. Their clandestine meetings to try and keep their growing relationship a secret from her friends and colleagues at work. There are some funny moments when they are almost caught in a compromising position.
This book is not all fun and games though, as the path to true love never runs smoothly. Will the secret that Quinn is keeping be just too much for Sidney to deal with? What will happen at work when their secret finally gets out? I definitely recommend that you read this book to get the answers. You will not be disappointed!

I really love this authors characters, they’re so real and its very easy to see yourself going through everything they are.
Sidney worked so hard for a promotion that is now not happening so whats a girl to do but get some drinks in her and complain to strangers on the train about. This is where she and Quinlan meet but it’s not the end of them, oh no, far from it.
I loved we had a strong female lead and wasn’t afraid to stick to her morales and demand the respect for the things she asked for. Highly recommend.

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders was a great 5 star read.
I was pulled in right from the start.

I loved Sydney right from the start. She doesn’t get great news at her job and she decides to indulge in some alcohol before heading home. Her train ride home had me LOL. I loved it.
This is where she meets a hot good smelling man that makes sure she gets home safely.

The next morning she and her roommate dub him as “Prince Charming”. When she gets to work they get an email announcing a new boss and this is where it gets even more fun and interesting. Her new boss is “Prince Charming”.

Quinn was pleasantly surprised to see the girl from the train again. Can he convince Sydney to go out with him? What will happen when secrets come out?

Overall I really enjoyed this read and LOL several times. I loved Sydney and her verbal diarrhea and Quinn was great and perfect for her. All of the secondary characters add a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great taboo office romance with humor than 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Oh my goodness, this is one you don’t want to miss. Tarrah Anders is always one of my one-click no questions asked authors for a good romance, but this one exceeded all the expectations. I found myself laughing and pining the whole way through. This book has been very aptly named and the whole love surreptitiously is a perfect idea for a fabulous romance read. We meet Sidney as she is drowning her sorrows over a botched promotional interview. The stranger she chooses to confide in on the train while she is drunk just so happens to turn out to be her new boss. A smexy and well intriguing man too, he snags her attention but she controls the situation. Secrets will attempt to kill the romance before it gets started but we get to follow along on all the perfect and gripping details. I love how I felt as if these two were right there with me and acting out this story before my very eyes. I can’t wait to see what else we will get from Tarrah Anders!

This was an amazing love story. I really enjoyed it and the characters were so well written.

Sidney works at a magazine and after losing out on a promotion she gets drunk and shares her woes with a stranger on a train.

Her room mate calls him Prince Charming and Sidney is sure she will never see him again but how wrong she is.

Quin has moved to be closer to his daughter. His plans are work and his daughter until the meeting with a drunk lady on a train turns his world upside down.

There are trails and secrets and betrayals that they need to overcome to be together. Can they do it or are some secrets and betrayals too big.

Another amazing read by Ms. Anders….. this was a sexy, funny, forbidden romance….
The chemistry between Sidney and Quinlan was off of the charts. When Sidney doesn’t get the promotion she expects, so why not drink and tell your story to total strangers on the train ride home. I really enjoyed this office romance. The story flows along and easily kept me reading. The characters are fun and inventive and I wondered what they would do next. Quinn was soo soo amazing I had to pinch myself a couple times to get out of my Quinn-stupor. Then I realized he has flaws and secrets….yeah he learns a lesson in a big way. Sidney is the same at times. Quite unbelieving then she does a similar thing….secrets only break things. Gah! Idiots both of them. But they go together so beautifully. I also enjoyed her friends and especially her serial Tinder user and roomie. She added some crazy times to the story.

Overall a quick story by an author whose work I enjoy. I always look forward to see what she will bring me next. Another one that is well done.

After Sidney’s chance for a promotion goes down the drain, she does what anyone in her situation would do…she drowns her sorrows and lets her fellow train passengers become her sounding board for what is going wrong in her world. One stranger on that train is Quinlan. He just moved to the city for a new job opportunity and finds himself entranced by the drunk woman. However, they go their separate ways. But fate brings them back together…when Quinn becomes Sidney’s boss (and the one who got the promotion she wanted). Their relationship is forbidden…is it worth the risk to keep it a secret? And Quinn has secrets of his own that could end their relationship…which is difficult for a woman like Sidney to accept since she demands honesty.

I loved the interactions between Sidney and Quinn. Sidney is a strong female lead character that doesn’t let people walk all over her. She demands answers and doesn’t stop until she gets them. There were moments that made me laugh and some that made me tear up. This was a quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed!

Although I did love this book and the characters I had a small problem with never really connecting with them, I wish the book had been longer and more time spent on the building of the relationship so that I could have felt the bond between the two. It just happened a bit too fast for me and touched on being predictable.

Now in saying all of that, I loved the writing in this story and Sydney surprised me, I loved her strength and resolve by standing by what she expected from Quin and a relationship. That was definitely different than a lot of other female leads and although I love them all, Sydney might just be up in my favorites.

I Love this author’s books, and even though this might not be my favorite I still completely enjoyed it and would definitely recommend reading it. I was invested in both of these characters, and everything they dealt with felt real, I just wish there had been more.

Can not wait for more from this author!

I really enjoyed this book – who doesn’t love a forbidden romance read! It had humour and it was entertaining throughout. I have read a few books by this author so I knew I would enjoy it! She had a great writing style that captures your interest from the very beginning, she creates great characters and enjoyable plots and Love Surreptitiously definitely ticked all the boxes on that front! I loved the characters, they made me laugh. Especially Sidney bless her! There was a good amount of chemistry between her and Quinlan, their first meeting was funny! It may have been a little predictable what was going to happen but I didn’t care at all, I loved what I was reading. I think maybe because it was a shorter read it felt a little rushed at times but I didn’t really have a huge impact on the story overall and I would definitely recommend it to other readers!

I loved reading the book Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders. It is a romantic comedy that I couldn’t put down once I started it. I loved the characters of Sidney Matthews and Quinlan Montgomery. Sidney is a woman who is intelligent, strong, and independent. I like Sidney because she says what she is thinking even if it is a little too honest. There are times in this story that I was smiling or laughing out loud at what she says. Quinlan is a man who is handsome, charming, and doesn’t expect the attraction that he feels for Sidney. He knows what he wants and that is a relationship with her. What does the future hold for Sidney and Quinlan? Will secrets that are being kept end any chance that their relationship will work? Read this book to find out. This story has moments of comedy as well as emotional moments. I grew to care about Sidney and Quinlan with each chapter that I read. There are other characters introduced that I enjoyed reading about the part that they play in the story. The author does an amazing job of making the characters come to life. Don’t miss out on a romance story that you will not want to put down until the final page. I highly recommend reading this book

Love Surreptitiously by Tarrah Anders is a contemporary romance story that is fun and sexy. It is a quick read but one that won’t disappoint you. When you have a bad day and getting drunk seems like a good idea at the time but that quickly changes when she realises just who she shared her broken heart to. The characters are real and feeling. Throw in a bit of angst and sneaking around trying not to give in to the attraction and it makes for a good read.

Sidney has just learned that the promotion she really wanted is not going to happen. As she takes the train home after a few drinks, she complains to anyone who will listen. This is where she meets Quintan. There is a connection between them. What will happen when they learn that he is her new editor in chief? They know they will need to keep their relationship a secret but it is not just one secret that has to be kept. Will they find trust and find their way to a HEA? I enjoyed their chemistry together and I found myself really liking them and want to see them get their HEA. I highly recommend reading their story to find out what happens with them.

Grant Toolson steals your heart as the rookie in this book but not in the ways you’d think. As he’s a little rough around the edges, he meets Emily who is destined to teach him a thing or two about how to step up to becoming a better player and person in general. Emily has a secret of her own as she knows what she’s looking for when it comes to what she wants as well. This book steams up and not in the way you’d think. I love the snarky sense of humor which makes it hilarious to read, just enough drama to keep you tuned in and the subtle seduction. This book was easy and a breeze to read — quite enjoyable!

Rookie Moves was a quick read. The author gives you a peak into the life of a football rookie. I was thinking this was going to be typical but it wasn’t. I liked that Grant was willing to change to keep him future bright. That he wasn’t going to let his faults ruin his football career. At first I didn’t really like Emily because I thought she was going to lead him down the wrong path. Her character was definitely flawed. But she changes and so does Grant’s. It was a nice story that gives you a nice view of professional athletes.

Such a great short story!! Rookie Moves is a Quick Snap Novella by Tarrah Anders. Grant Toolson is the new rookie for the Seattle Seahawks. However, he is not making smart moves off the field. Constantly getting into trouble for something and the owners of the organization want him to change his ways. Emily is the mayor of Seattle’s daughter. She is under the constant eye of bodyguards and the city. She is a humanitarian for one thing and when she meets Grant while paring up together at a food bank she doesn’t think anything of it. However, when they meet at a charity dinner is when things kick off between the two. The chemistry between the two is amazing. They balance each other out and it really becomes a whirlwind romance. She calms him down and he lets her be wild and free. It really was a cute story even with the twists that come along with it. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves short stories and quick romances. Oh! And I absolutely love that Will Montgomery makes a cameo in this story too!
