My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the first book I have read from this author and she blew me away. I absolutely love a good stand alone but this story exceeded all my expectations. You can’t help but to fall in love with all of these characters. I was hooked on the very first page. It only took me a few hours to devour this incredible story.

Erin has always been a small town girl. She loves her job at her boutique. Erin has had really bad luck with the men she dates. She has sworn off summer flings for good due to the last man she loved. Erin is now excited about her work until she meets the handsome Royce. She has never felt like this before over a guy. Erin doesn’t want to get attached too fast but she can’t help it. She loves her new relationship with Royce but when she finds out their is an ex in the most she starts to put her walls up.

Royce is new to the town. He is starting up his own business with his best friend. Royce is used to the big city living so he has to get used to this small town. He is excited about his new life especially when he meets the beautiful Erin. Royce falls head over heels with Erin but when his ex comes back things get very interesting. Will Royce find what he is looking for in this small town or will he figure out he needs a big city?

I absolutely loved this book. The storyline has it all romance, mystery, and forgiveness. You will fall in love with these characters right from the start. Erin is the perfect small town girl. She loves her life but she has walls up that are very hard to break. Royce is very handsome with a heart of gold. He is a very caring and understanding guy. These two characters have some steamy scenes that will make your temperature rise. This talented author will keep you at the edge of your seats until the end. I hope we get to know the other guys as well. I can’t wait to see what this author will write next.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is an adult contemporary romance with fantastic characters. I was hooked on the story from the very beginning and it did not disappoint at all.
Living in a tourist area where she co-owns a shop, Emma has sworn off having relationships with any tourists as her previous encounters have not ended well and she’s not prepared to have her heart broken again.
When Royce appears at the start of the summer season, Emma doesn’t trust his proclamation that he’s planning to stay there, put down roots and open his own veterinary practice.
While there is obvious attraction between the two of them, Emma has her guard up as she’s not convinced that he is there to stay. As a small business owner herself, Emma gives lots of help and advice to Royce to help get his business up and running. As they spend more time together they become closer and Emma starts to let her walls down and lets Royce in.
Just as things are going well for the couple Royce’s ex wife does everything she can to split the couple up. She wants Royce back and will do anything to get her way.
Will Royce and Emma overcome all the obstacles in their way and get the HEA that they both deserve? I was certainly rooting for them. I really loved the relationship that they had between them.
I thoroughly recommend this book to other readers.

If you have read any of my reviews on Tarrah Anders’ books before then you know how much I love her books/writing. Well, Summer Fling was no different; this was a wonderful story about Royce and Emma. Their love story had me swooning so much, that I wished I had a summer fling in my younger years. But, this story was not only sweet and romantic; it had plenty of cray-cray to go around too. Plus we can’t forget all the Hot Sexiness between Royce and Emma; it’s not a Tarrah Anders book without some steamy sexy time between the sheets.

Everything about this book just flowed, there was never a moment that dragged or felt like it needs something. You will be on the edge of your seat ill the end wanting to know what is going to happen next. The little tease in the epilogue has me hoping for another book just about Jackson.

This hot steamy read will get you through some cold winter nights!

This is Strictly a romance of the summer kind?

Emma runs her own little shop, in a small town. Just the way she likes it. She has swore off men for a while, after her last heart break. Now she just has one night flings. Definitely no commitments, and no tourist! Drinking got the best of her. That’s how this romance story starts.

Royce is new in town. He is starting a new business and has his focus there. On his night out, he meets the beautiful Emma. She wants one night, he wants forever. Now he is out to prove he is not a tourist, and plans to stay.

Tarrah Anders wrote this story with romance in mind. She did just that. But with every romance there are the exes that come out as well. I love her characters and the story they tell. I also love that she kept the story on a rollercoaster. That right! This is not your average love story. This is so much more.

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is sweet contemporary romance story and a great  quick read. Tarrah’s writing style is easy and is written in dual POV’s. This story, even  though sweet, has a whole lot of hotness and a twist with a side of crazy. There is  humor and fun, doubts and fears, love and hurt, suspense and longing but mixed  together they draw you in page after page. It is easy to read in one sitting, whilst  enjoying sitting in the sun curled up with a nice drink.

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was a great way to finish off my summer reading list. Those dog days of summer had just really started to finish up and a day in the sun soaking up the sexy saga of Emma and Royce was perfect!

Everyone has one of those great romances gone terribly wrong that ruins it for the ones to come, and Emma is no different. Being hurt in the past has made her a bit jaded and she is not going to let it happen again. So when the summer season is about to hit full swing in her idyllic town of Sweeny she reaffirms her pact with herself to avoid the new catches rolling into town.

Royce is a bit different though. He has come with the intentions of settling down roots. When he meets Emma he instantly feels a connection for with her beyond a friendly level. A drunken one night stand gives him hope. For Emma though, her walls are just as high as they were the day they met. Royce is just as stubborn though…

These two were so much fun to read about. I loved the supporting characters just as much, and can see where we could even get plenty of spin off novellas in the future. Another great escape and sexy read from Tarrah Anders, and one that is gorgeous at that. This must grace my bookshelves at home as soon as possible. Happy reading!

Summer Fling had my a little worried when I first starting reading it! Tarrah Anders really knows how to jump right into the story. Not what I expected, but I’m glad I stuck it out and kept reading, because I ended up loving the story. It has a lot of emotion and character and relationship building, not just the hot and steamy. The characters are wonderful, and their blossoming relationship is fun to follow. It is the first I have read by Anders, but it wont be my last. I loved her writing style, and plan to read more.
Emma lives in a small town, with a heavy tourist season. While summer flings can be fun, after a bad experience, she has sworn them off. But, a drunken encounter doesn’t count, right? Its just a one night stand, or at least that’s what she had planned. What Emma didn’t plan for was the gorgeous sexy Royce to stick around, planning to put down roots in her small town. Royce spends the summer proving he is not going anywhere, and trying to make Emma take a chance on him.

Summer fling is a quirky little novel by Tarrah Anders. This story intrigued me from the title, and just got better from there. The first chapter begins explosively and steamy. That sets the tone for the rest of the story.

Beguiling characters and hilarious secondary characters, together with the electric storyline provided me with a deliciously wonderful few hours of reading. Emma and Royce just had that instant chemistry that was immediately evident. So palpable, I felt like I had a front row seat to bliss.

It was hot, it was heavy, and it was masterfully written. A great escape. 5 stars.

Summer Fling is a great new adult romance by Tarrah Anders. This is the third or fourth book I have read by Ms. Anders, but it is my new favorite by this author. This book had me hooked from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down until I read the last page. This book is full of sweet romance, sexy hot characters and an intriguing mystery.
Emma and Royce have so much chemistry it just rolls off the page. Emma has been burned before when she started a fling with a tourist, they all flood into Time their town for summer vacation. So she is weary of Royce when he moves into town. Thinking he will be leaving with the tourists at the end of the summer, however Royce is here to stay. He just needs to convince Emma of that fact.
This summer book was just perfect to read on this fall afternoon. I highly recommend this book. Thanks to Tarrah Anders for such a great reed.

This story is based in the small town of Sweeny. Emma and her friends own and run a clothing store. They grew up in Sweeny. They live there. The summer time brings tourists to not only their store but the town as well. But only until summer is over. Relationships don’t start in the summer, flings do, because everyone knows tourists leave. Emma has been burned once before by a summer relationship that ended up being a fling.

Royce comes to town with his friends to set up a veterinarian office. They come to town at the beginning of summer like the rest of the tourists do but they plan on staying.

Now Royce and Emma have to decide if a relationship is something they can do. And then as if the summer time isn’t enough of pressure for these two, Anders throws in a couple of crazy little twists.

This is my first book by Anders and I am happy I took a chance on a new to me author! Cute story, good characters, different story-line. This book was easy to read, easy to understand and follow. I can recommend this story and look forward to reading more from Anders.

~sigh~ This was a quick and easy romance that is full of good friends, small town charm, romance and a bit of angst.

One of the many things I enjoyed about this story is that neither protagonist is an over the top alpha. They are both strong and independent and able to deal with life on an individual basis. This story seems to be the start or a series because we are introduced to many different characters. Each is well developed with individual traits that make up part of a hole.

There are a few dangling questions for me that I’m sure will be answered in future stories in the series.

I really like reading books by this author and I don’t recall ever being disappointed in anything she has written.

Summer FlingSummer Fling by Tarrah Anders
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Summer Fling is a standalone contemporary romance novel that will leave you longing for a summer romance. Set in the most beautiful of small towns, this story follows Emma and Royce as they both take the plunge and venture into a new chapter of their life. This is one of those books that immediately hooks you and I can safely say I will be recommending this one to friends. If you need a summer read to help escape the cold winter days that are soon to come, Summer Fling is for you!

Emma has one rule when it comes to dating; no tourists. After her heart was broken by an out-of-towner years before, she’s sworn off men who are only visiting for the summer. So when she meets Royce, she accepts that their one night stand will be just that, nothing more than one night of amazing passion. When Royce reveals his plans to stay in town, Emma struggles to accept this despite the bold gestures he makes to show her that he’s series. I loved seeing their relationship evolve over time and see Emma start to trust people again. Her and Royce have such a natural and instant chemistry, it’s infectious to read. Surprisingly, I found myself super attracted to Royce after finding out he was a veterinarian, which is something I didn’t know about myself! Together they are such a fun couple and make for such an enjoyable, easy read.

One of my favourite parts of Summer Fling were the cute messages Royce started sending to Emma. I am a real suck for any kind of romantic gesture, regardless of how unique, bold or crazy they are. I loved this, and found myself anticipating the next note, but things really got interest when the past comes back to haunt Emma. This really shakes things up and I found myself super worried for the couple. The author did a fantastic job of building the tension and drama, keeping my glued to the sofa while I waited to see how things would turn out.

This book perfectly hit my end-of-summer-blues spot. Summer Fling is fun, romantic and passionate, making it the perfect easy-read for those of you who are desperate for your romance fix. I loved both the characters and the plot equally and I must admit, I’m hoping for future stories involving Willie, Effie, Cyrus and Jackson! This was my first read of this author and I am super excited to explore more of their work.

Before I go on any further, can I just say how beautiful I think this book’s cover is? It is completely eye catching and the colors are gorgeous together! Since we aren’t supposed to judge books by their cover, I’ll move on…
As summer has come to a close here it was nice to have a light, summer read to shut it down. Summer Fling was the perfect combination of super sexy scenes and intriguing storyline with characters that felt so relatable they could be your friends too.
I enjoyed the his and her perspective that this story was told from, really giving us a true taste of their personalities. I loved Emma straight from the beginning, witty and honest. The supporting characters throughout the story were just as enjoyable as the main ones, making it an even easier read.
I almost wish this book was a little bit longer it was a fast paced, quick read that had a little of everything in it romance, steamy sex scenes, drama and suspense which was really satisfying. There was a time while reading when the drama and suspense really started to pick up and the book started to near the conclusion I felt like we were going in a different direction and there would be some loose ends. I will admit after making it to the end and reading the epilogue I was much more satisfied.
Overall I really enjoyed this book, it was nice to hold on to summer a little bit longer here in New England.

I give Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders, 4 stars.

Emma lives in a summer beach town and she has one rule — no hooking up with tourists. But when she ends up in bed with what she believes is a tourist after a night of way too much alcohol, she does her best to forget it. But then she runs into this sexy man again. He says he is there to start up a business and stay, she doesn’t really believe him. She doesn’t need to get her heart broken again. Will he actually stay? Does she want to take a chance? But the more she gets to know him, the harder it is.

This was a wonderful book. It is a fun romance that can be read in one sitting. Well, at least if you’re like me and can’t put it down. The characters are engaging and very down to earth. They feel just like people you may know. The story is much more than a romance too. There is the drama and pressure of starting a new business, not to mention other surprises in the book.

This book is fun, the characters are great, and I quite enjoyed this book. I highly recommend it.

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is a contemporary romance which will suck you into the storyline from the beginning of the book. It is a quick read and you won’t be able to put your Kindle down until you are done. This story is about Emma and Royce. Emma hasn’t had the best track record with relationships, especially with relationships that start and end after summer is over. She meets Royce and is instantly attracted to him but instantly puts up her walls. Royce is there to stay and not planning to to leave after the summer. Will Emma allow Royce to break down her walls and allow him to be her forever? The chemistry between both characters is palpable throughout the story. Tarrah Anders wrote a seamless and quick storyline that can be read and in one day. I thoroughly enjoyed both main characters and this story. Summer Fling is hot right from page one! It simmers down a bit as these two take a step back and start from the beginning, but the love scenes are definitely worth a look! Emma and Royce both have been unlucky when it comes to past relationships, and Emma is hesitant but not, like, over the top about staying away from dating. I liked that she was willing to open up. Royce is sweet and sincere and ROMANTIC. I really enjoyed this, it just flowed well, held my interest, and I didn’t want to put it down.

Summer Fling, by Tarrah Anders, is a new adult/college romance that features two souls who aren’t looking or anticipating what comes across their paths. Yet, how can you deny something that feels right and keeps coming back? A Summer Fling was a well written story with likable characters that were real and flawed in their own individual ways; adding in a bit of drama with a dash of spice over the summer and who knows what is about to come out! Tarrah Anders keeps the reader on their toes and the story is anything but boring. I found the characters creative, fun and a joy to read as their stories unfolded.

Summer Fling by Tarrah Anders is sexy, sweet and fun- an entertaining, heart-warming and light-hearted story that captivated me right from the first page. This standalone is one that you won’t want to miss. I really enjoy Ms. Ander’s writing, she has an easy, inviting and sexy style- and is a very talented storyteller. I have read most of her books now and she never disappoints.
Emma is wary and doesn’t trust men after a bad experience. Her issues mean that she doesn’t date vacationers either, because they don’t stick around after their summer fun. But, her home town is a summer destination and the season is about to start.
Royce is new to town, he’s got plans and wants to put down some roots. (I would love to tell you what brought him to town and why he’s sticking around- but I think it would spoil the surprise). He and Emma meet at a party and spend a drunken night together. What happens when they run into each other a couple of days later? Can he convince her that he’s sticking around long term and gain her trust? Will she give him a chance to prove it? Does their relationship have a future, or will there be an expiration date? And what happens when the past returns to haunt them? So, what does happen, you ask? You really should read all the details for yourself- because this book has so much going for it….. its playful, funny, spicy, romantic, and is a great, feel-good read!
I can’t wait to find out what comes next!

In walks Bella a small-town farmer’s daughter, but she can hold her own when it comes to Ben and she has him figured out. At Bella’s three month evaluation besides telling Bella how good she is at her job, Ben ask Bella to be his date to a Gala. This is just the beginning of their office romance…

Like I have said before about Tarrah’s books, she knows how to write some hot steamy scenes that will leave you needing a cold shower afterward. You will fall hard and fast in love with Ben and Bella; they are just so cute together and balance one another perfectly.

The Night Manager by Tarrah Anders is a wonderful, sexy, sweet and fun- a light-hearted story that captivated me right from the beginning. This follows on from ‘Stripped’, and although this story is focused on different characters, we do get to catch up with Mal and Becks from book one, too. I really enjoy Ms. Ander’s writing, I have read a lot of her books now and she never disappoints. I loved Stripped, and this story is a worthy companion to that book.
This is Jacks (Mal from Stripped best friend and business partner) and Cam’s (Mal’s younger sister) story, and we catch up with them the morning after their drunken hook-up at Mal and Becks’ wedding. Jacks memory of the night is rather hazy to say the least, and even though he is very interested in Cam, he doesn’t want to cause any problems with his best friend Mal and would rather pretend the night never happened. So, they all head home and Becks does a great job of avoiding Cam for a couple of weeks- until she turns up on his doorstep needing somewhere to stay as she has nowhere else to go. So, he ends up with a house guest and his world will never be the same? What happens you ask? You really should read all the details for yourself- because it has so much going for it….. its playful, funny, sexy, spicy, romantic, and quite emotional at times- and I was hook right from the get-go!

I enjoyed reading about our characters who I fell in love with. This is one sweet and juicy, sexy and funny ride that will ensure your entertainment and enjoyment.

Rebekah is not afraid to say what she thinks and is non judgmental but when it comes to being face to face with the job of someone she loves and all it encompasses she is not sure what to think and how to deal with it. Can she overcome her feelings, her doubts, her fears and find what is important to her before she loses the best thing to come into her life?
