Braving Lily (True Platinum Series Book 7) by Morgana Bevan – Review by Tausha Treadway

Braving Lily (True Platinum, #5)Braving Lily by Morgana Bevan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Braving Lily (True Platinum Series Book 7) by Morgana Bevan. I loved this book mainly because instead of just a regular ole rock star romance the rock star is a woman. Lily is the rock star and the story starts off where she has decided to let them auction off a date with her for charity. When it comes time for the date she is stood up and typical rock star style she can’t get over it. She decides to look up this guy and she finds Rhys, a handsome guy who is divorced and really not ready to date but his mom signed him up. When they meet Lily realizes that Rhys actually feels something for her which he isn’t used to. The more they get to know each other the more Lily really likes Rhys because he could care less about her rock star status, She is worried what will happen when she leaves for her year long tour. Will they be able to continue the relationship or will the tour tear them apart.

Mission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy by Stuart Ledwith – Review by Tausha Treadway

Mission 3047: One Soul's FantasyMission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy by Stuart Ledwith
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Mission 3047: One Soul’s Fantasy by Stuart Ledwith. This is not my favorite genre so I was a little skeptical but I loved it. June is one of them main characters and she is married to Joe who happens to be in a coma. They have 2 daughters Livy and Cora. When June is not working she is taking care of Joe and their daughters. In another realm June goes by Chloe and does secret missions with Sarge. Not a lot is told about Sarge and June but I got the feeling they were more than friends. With Sarge, June works with Extra terrestrial beings and the author seemed very knowledgeable about this. Sarge was also very good to June’s girls. They also have a care taker for Joe named Barbara. This is a different type of read and once you start you won’t want to put it down. So get ready to read until your finished and even then you will be thinking about this book long after you’ve put it down and that’s a sign to me of a great book!

Its the story of Brooklyn who has not had an easy past so when it comes to guys she’s not going to just walk off with the first one around. Emotionally Brooklyn might not be ready for a new romance but when she meets Oliver and Jaxson its more of a lust factor and not a romance but with Gideon and Aiden its more of a slow and steady wins the race type of thing. She invites them into her bedroom but not her heart and when her past comes back to haunt her they will protect her at all costs. Will she finally be able to relax and give her heart away? This book is full of all the things, more than one partner, assault and abuse so be prepared for triggers. Its a great first read.

Shameless Love (The Bennetts of Langston Falls Book 2) by KG Fletcher. This book is by one of my favorite authors so I knew I would love it and it did not disappoint. When Elyse and Walt meet at a studio party the chemistry is off the charts. Throw in a snow storm and them getting stuck in a crazy snowstorm together all bets are off. He can’t stay away from her and she is the same. Will they be able to work out as a couple or are they so different that it will never work.
