The Dating ItineraryThe Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams was a good 4 star read.

We meet Penny and Geo (George) in this story, they are both journalists. These two have a complicated past. When Penny gets a new assignment things take an interesting twist. She has to try a bunch of different dating strategies to see which one is the most successful. What she didn’t anticipate is that Geo has the same assignment.

Overall this was a fun read, seeing all the dating options these two went through and the connection that was building between them. There are some LOL moments. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. This is a quick read that will pull you right in. 1-click and get started today.

The Dating Itinerary is about a journalist who is semi-forced into going through different dating routes such as tinder, matchmaking, dark dating etc. and she has to give her feedback on it every week for her company’s magazine. If she ends up finding love by the end, she might finally get a cover story! The twist however, lies in her old colleague/nemesis who has the same task as her (albeit in a different magazine) who ends up bumping into her everywhere! Will they finally become friends or is he annoying until the end? Well… read and find out?

I absolutely loved this book! I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did! It gave me such ‘The Hating Game’ vibes mixed with the movie ‘How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days’ and I’m obsessed with both of them so needless to say, I had a blast! The characters are so real and I found the story to be so easy going and every time I put it down, I was dying to pick it up and start reading again! I would highly recommend this book!

The reason I gave it a 4 stars instead of a 5 is because I think the reason for George’s (the main man’s) reasoning for wanting the promotion was justifiable but took me out of the story a bit since it was never properly dealt with at the end, nor did it change during the book. Other than that though; the plot, the characters and the writing as a whole were highly enjoyable and exactly what I was looking for after a tiring week.

These characters were easy to love as their circumstances brought them closer together in not only the rat races of their career but also in the dating pool. I love their banter with one another and how entertaining the story brings them closer together. This is an easy read that you can’t help get sunk into as an original comedy-esque book. I loved reading why Geo took his approach with not only his career but with Penny as well. Great characters and story to boot. I loved this whole book!

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams is a fun cotemporary romance that is entertaining from start to finish. The whole book is funny and engaging, with brilliant characters. I was instantly drawn into the story and loved following Penny and Geo on the journey they were taking.
I really enjoyed the whole feel this book had to it. Right from the start the author knew what she wanted to achieve from this book and it felt so well executed that you couldn’t help but fall right into it. The book was well written and the characters were just amazing. They had such a great connection, you could really feel the chemistry between them. I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end and would highly recommend it.

This was a great romantic comedy with a fiesty  female lead. The characters are well written and very captivating.

Penny is a journalist who is single. She is given a new assignment whether that is because of her skills as a journalist or because she is single she is unsure but she is determined to make it the best story yet.

Her assignment is to go on the dating scene through many different ways such as speed dating, bars, matchmaker to evaluate their success rate and maybe find her Mr Right. What she doesnt expect to find is her enemy George.

George is her own rival at the company she works at. When he took her promotion from her friendship turned to hate. So imagine her horror to see him at the speed dating. And not to see him but to match with him.

George isn’t what Penny believes him to be. His persona is all a front but will she give him the time to show her there is more to him that what she sees and believes or will they end up hating each other and missing what could be under their nose all along?

Penny and George

This was such a great book and set only 30 minutes from where I live! Was cool to read about places ive been around town and know what they’re ‘seeing’.
First off Penny and her sisters. My goodness those girls had to have had a rough life growing up with the names they had but as a parent I see what they did with the name play.
Penny was so easy to see my self in and like. And George or Geo, well he’s just a man putting on a face so no one can see he’s just a big teddy bear .
Had some laughs in this and was truly entertained. Hope we get some books about the sisters as those will be fun!

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams was a cute fun Rom-Com. Penny and Geo are rivals in the newspaper world. Both are working on similar stories about dating and they keep running into each other. I have to say that I’m happy that I don’t have to date these days, all the different ways of dating just sound more like headaches. The question is will Penny and Geo find love…

Penny and Geo had great chemistry and I loved their bantering. Brooke Williams’s writing is good and easy to fall for; my only complaint is the storyline was a little predictable at times.

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams is a fun read about living in the singles scene. Written in a fun, humorous way, the author takes the characters on a crazy hunt for love. Penny is a cute, smart reporter taking on the a task of the cluster of options on the dating scene. George is her adversary in her work. Will he be her friend or foe in this adventure? This was a fun read which had me laughing and thankful not to be in the dating scene anymore. I enjoyed Penny because she is a determined and smart young woman with her eye on her goals. George is a good counter to Penny. I enjoyed the interactions between the two. This was a fun, quick read that helped to break me out of the doldrums. I look forward to reading more from this enjoyable writer in the future.

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams is an entertaining romantic comedy. Brooke is known for giving us something a little quirky and fun and this story is no different. But it’s not all fun, there are moments where there is some angst and some emotions and a little drama pulling it all together. This enemies to lovers’ story with the easy and witty banter and the slurs between these two unlikely characters will keep you drawn to the story and the pages turning as they struggle with each other and the dating scene.

I loved this book from page 1, it really was a great feel-good, rom-com that had you laughing out loud numerous times throughout and thoroughly enjoying the characters and following along on their journey. These characters were real, down to earth and funny and because of how great the characters are it made me not want to put this read down. This author definitely knows how to create an amazing read that really hooks you, and leaves you wanting more! This story got better and better as it moved along. I struggled at first getting into the story and the characters (although I do like Penny’s name and her sisters). It just seemed stilted and I ended up skimming and reading dialogue only. But as the story got more and more interesting I couldn’t put it down. It left me wondering what was going to happen with, after and during each date.

I ended up liking Penny and George. They really went through some stuff and I wondered if they ever would come out the other side together. I think George is my favorite. While at times he is a jerk he really has some insightful comments and ideas. When these two kiss….it’s explosive!

While the sisters are helpful I didn’t feel any family connection between them. That’s what I mean by stilted. Just that they were their and the conversation just didn’t flow.

Overall it’s a good read! Interesting and made me chuckle a time or two. The connection between the George and Penny is electric at times.

I love picking up books and just knowing in your gut you are going to love every page. And this one definitely did that for me. I found myself anticipating what might happen, guessing how it would all unfold, and LOVING reading how the story proceeded. The main characters – fantastic, hilarious, real. I found myself laughing out loud quite a bit at the all too real scenarios in each chapter. I thoroughly enjoyed this romcom and will gladly pick it back up for another read very soon.

I don’t even know where to start with my thoughts on this book. I loved Penny and her relationship with her sisters. They seem to have an incredibly close bond which I envy. The dynamic between the four woman made me smile, even if it wasn’t the full set.

Geo melted my heart for so many reasons, I think the biggest was his relationship with his nephew who sounded like a handful and then some. He has such a soft spot for Eliot and his sister Maggie.

I enjoyed watching their relationship evolve throughout the book. And could wait to see where their next adventure led. I laughed a lot and cried just a bit.

This is my first time reading anything by Ms. Williams, but it certainly won’t be the last.

The Dating Itinerary is a great Enemies-To-Lovers romance novel from Brooke Williams. I had never previously read any of this author’s work but I love an enemies-to-lovers romance so thought I would give this a go. I’m so glad that I chose to read this book as I really enjoyed it.
Penny Coyne is writing a column about different methods of dating for the magazine she works for. When attending a speed dating event she meets her ex colleague, and rival, George who is carrying out the same activity.
I loved reading Penny and George’s story. Their initial meetings are hilarious as Penny does not hold back on her dislike for George, even though her body is saying something different. The chemistry soon builds and they both realise that they don’t want to find a significant other through their dating as they want each other.
One thing I loved about this book is that the author gets across the dangers of dating as well as the highlights. This book does not make dating out to be all fun and games. The much darker side of dating is well documented and treated in a great manner by the author. This book is definitely worth a read.

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams is a superb romantic comedy with a bit of an enemies to lovers aspect to the story, a bit of a “hating game’ which I really enjoyed. There is some drama, just enough to keep things interesting. The story was a little predictable and somewhat cheesy- but that added to the fun factor of the story and didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book in any way.
I have read quite a few of Ms. Williams’ books now- and can always rely on her to deliver an entertaining read. I like her easy and inviting style- and the way she adds a little ‘individuality’ to her stories. Her characters are always really well developed- such interesting individuals, with their own unique (and at times quite quirky) personalities.
Penny and George (Geo) have a bit of history together and a quiet rivalry between them. Penny has been assigned a to write a series of articles called ‘The Dating Game’- which will involve taking part in all the various ways people use to find a date. From dating aps, to matchmaking- and everything in-between, Penny will be ‘trying’ them all. She has high hopes that the experience, and articles, will propel her career to new heights. But then Geo turns up, seemingly wherever she goes…
Geo has his sights on winning a syndicated spot that would bring him the success he’s been looking for. There is a lot riding on this being successful. Because then he would also have the means to help his sister. It just so happens that his stories involve exploring all the differing types of dating methods- which causes his and Penny’s paths to cross, often. Sparks fly, and hilarity ensues.

Thank you, Brooke Williams!

This is my fourth read by this author and so far I think this is my favorite. It was predictable yet enjoyable getting to the final pages. I loved the concept of this book and loved that I smiled and laughed almost all the way through. I loved the family aspect, Penny’s sisters were so much fun and their bonds strong, and I loved their names. Geo’s bond with his sister and nephew touched my heart through the whole book.

There was just enough history given between Penny and Geo to be able to understand where each was coming from in their feelings for each other. The different avenues they went on for their stories were each a lot of fun to watch and a few quite funny!

This was a one sitting read for me and I sincerely enjoyed every second of it. I loved both of these characters and couldn’t wait to see how it all ended.

It was awesome and I loved it!! Highly recommend!

I was excited to get my hands on The Dating Itinerary as soon as I saw the cover and a few teasers. I just needed to know what would come of these characters that sucked me in from a few blurbs. This was a fun and light hearted read in my opinion and it was perfect for the rainy Tuesday night that needed something to brighten up. I found myself laughing out loud several times and completely in love with the MC’s by the time I finished the first few chapters. This was one I didn’t put down until I read the last words.

Penny and Geo are rivals, but they never used to be and now that their jobs have thrust them back into each other’s lives, more drama and feelings are about to unfold. This is one of those that you just know how it is gonna end but you keep reading hoping that it goes the way you think it will. I won’t give away the final details but this is one you don’t want to miss out on for yourself. I can’t wait to see what we will get next from Brooke Williams.

This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. It is a cute short romance story that pulled me in from the first page. I enjoyed the characters as they brought the story to life. They made me feel as if I was part of the story. They made it fun and entertaining to read. The chemistry between them was great and made the story easy to read. This is a story about Penny and Geo. Penny is writing a series of articles about dating. She now has to attend a series of dates but she never expected to run into her rival Geo. Are they after the same thing? Could what they are or are not looking for be right under their faces? What fate has in store for them you don’t want to miss. They really made the story for me and kept me turning pages. I highly recommend their story and this author.

I loved reading the book The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams. It is a romantic comedy that pulled me in from the beginning and didn’t let me go until the final page. It is a book that had me laughing out loud and also had had touching moments. I loved reading about the characters of Penny and Geo. Penny is an intelligent, independent, and strong woman. She has a new assignment to try several different types of ways to find a date. Will she find the one? Geo is handsome, charming, and cares very much about his sister. He also is trying out different dating venues. Both Penny ad Geo begins to notice the chemistry between them. What will be the results of Penny and Geo’s time on the dating scene? Read this book to find out. This is a story that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. I grew to care about Penny and Geo with every chapter that I read. I wanted them both to find happiness. I also enjoyed reading about the additional characters that are introduced in the story and their interactions with both Geo and Penny. Don’t miss out on an entertaining book that will make you take a hard but also lighthearted look at the dating scene. I highly recommend reading it.

As if it wasn’t bad enough to be deemed the “most single person” at her magazine’s office, budding reporter Penny has now been tapped to write a series of features called “The Dating Game.” From speed dating to Tinder, old-fashioned matchmakers to up-and-coming “dark dating,” Penny now has to go on a lot of dates. Silver lining: meeting new people should be fun, right? But running into her old rival, George, at her first dating event is decidedly not. Not only does the arrogant know-it-all have zero trouble attracting women, wherever Penny goes, somehow he just. Keeps. Showing. Up.

Geo knows he’s right on the cusp of writing success with the chance to have his own syndicated column. All he has to do is follow his agent’s ideas for showcasing different dating avenues, and he’ll pull in enough to help his sister’s non-profit women’s shelter get off the ground. Sure, his itinerary is starting to look strangely similar to his old rival Penny’s, but all’s fair in love and syndication, right?

The more they look for love in all the wrong places, though, the more they start to wonder if it was right in front of their noses all along. Still, the brutal dating scene just might end them, if these two don’t kill each other first.
