The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams – Review by Angela Hayes

The Dating ItineraryThe Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The Dating Itinerary by Brooke Williams is a superb romantic comedy with a bit of an enemies to lovers aspect to the story, a bit of a “hating game’ which I really enjoyed. There is some drama, just enough to keep things interesting. The story was a little predictable and somewhat cheesy- but that added to the fun factor of the story and didn’t detract from my enjoyment of the book in any way.
I have read quite a few of Ms. Williams’ books now- and can always rely on her to deliver an entertaining read. I like her easy and inviting style- and the way she adds a little ‘individuality’ to her stories. Her characters are always really well developed- such interesting individuals, with their own unique (and at times quite quirky) personalities.
Penny and George (Geo) have a bit of history together and a quiet rivalry between them. Penny has been assigned a to write a series of articles called ‘The Dating Game’- which will involve taking part in all the various ways people use to find a date. From dating aps, to matchmaking- and everything in-between, Penny will be ‘trying’ them all. She has high hopes that the experience, and articles, will propel her career to new heights. But then Geo turns up, seemingly wherever she goes…
Geo has his sights on winning a syndicated spot that would bring him the success he’s been looking for. There is a lot riding on this being successful. Because then he would also have the means to help his sister. It just so happens that his stories involve exploring all the differing types of dating methods- which causes his and Penny’s paths to cross, often. Sparks fly, and hilarity ensues.

Thank you, Brooke Williams!
