Unexpected Love (The Juniper Court Series) by Vicki Green – Review by Jenni Bishop

Unexpected Love (The Juniper Court Series)Unexpected Love by Vicki Green
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Unexpected Love is part of the Juniper Court series where each book is written by different authors. This book is written by Vicki Green and this is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it. I loved that it was told from the male POV which happens so rarely. With an easy writing style I was swept away by the story and these wonderful characters. It is a quick read but a fantastic storyline.

He thought it would be forever, everything he thought he wanted was in his life. Until it wasn’t. Starting over is not an option, once bitten, twice shy, that was until those eyes.

This is a romance story that will tug on your heartstrings and is soooooooooo worth the time to read.

Then AgainThen Again by Sylvie Stewart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Then Again by Sylvie Stewart is a wonderful story and is one of seven books in this  series all written by different authors. Boy O Boy did Sylvie do the series proud this is  my all time favourite. As always Sylvie’s writing is a style I always get lost in, as she  brings the people the world in which they live come to live and pop off the page. This  story is full of the funniest things between our main character and her sister, which  just adds to the magic of the story and had me cracking up every single time.    If you are looking for a fun and light read Then Again is the perfect book to do so. Nope  you will not be disappointed.

The New Neighbor (The Juniper Court Series) by Isabelle Peterson – Review by Jenni Bishop

The New Neighbor (The Juniper Court Series)The New Neighbor by Isabelle Peterson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The New Neighbor by Isabelle Peterson is another book in the The Juniper Court Series and is probably my favourite amongst the ones I have read so far. Isabelle writes characters that you can relate to and you feel as though they are your friends. This is a M/M romance story and is wonderfully written and is oh so steamy and hot which makes them fit right into the court they live in, where anything goes.

Erik is getting over his broken heart and Kyle hasn’t even admitted to his family that he’s gay. Will they find a way to each other and will they be able to be open and honest not only with each other but with their families and friends.

I am looking forward to the next book from the Juniper Court series.

Relationship Resuscitation (The Juniper Court Series) by Jennifer Theriot – Review by Jenni Bishop

Relationship Resuscitation (The Juniper Court Series)Relationship Resuscitation by Jennifer Theriot
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Relationship Resuscitation (The Juniper Court Series) by Jennifer Theriot is a quick read and fits in nicely with the other books in this series which are written by different authors with their own unique writing style and perspectives. This book is about finding the sparks that so often leaves couples after their children have grown and flown the coupe, Empty Nesters that their love is still strong but between the sheets a little spice to life is needed. I laughed out loud at some of the antic this couple got up to and my heart sighed at their devotion to one another. These characters and their relationship is so real that you can relate to them.

This is a sweet and enjoyable read that will keep you busy for an afternoon of leisure. I am off to read more of this series.

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series) by Lainie Suzanne – Review by Jenni Bishop

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series)Power Play: 39 Juniper Court by Lainie Suzanne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series) by Lainie Suzanne and is another great book to this series. It was great to see a book about a couple in their fifties, who are regular working folk who are flawed just like the rest of us, learning how to reconnect the spark in their romance after being married and raising their kids. Curiosity is a wonderous thing, so when Nina shares with her husband, they come together to explore their unknown needs in a loving and safe environment and the sexy fun times begin.

Lainie has written this story with great humour and plenty of sizzling heat. You will laugh so much you will cry.

I absolutely loved this addition to the Juniper Court Series, I had thought that Power Play would be my favorite in the end, but I’m thinking this one will run right along side it. Each one took a different approach to the empty nest syndrome and while I love them both this one seemed a bit more realistic for me personally. Power Play takes an approach that is like a fantasy for me and although I absolutely love it, my husband and I being empty nesters I can completely see this story being something we would do. I loved the sweetness in this relationship between Phillip and Jayne and the competition aspect made me lol, especially her first go at the competition…That was hilarious!!

I fall more in love with this series with every book I read, and seeing the different sides to some of the same scenes in each book is great…Something else I love about this series is that I’m getting a chance to read new authors..This is my first read by Jennifer Theriot and I love her writing style and the way the story moves so smoothly. I will definitely be looking at what else she has available and look forward to reading more from her!

I can’t wait for the next one in this series, I’m trying to figure out where my house would fit on Juniper Court LOL I love them all and just know I will reread all of these in the future 🙂

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series) by Lainie Suzanne – Review by Bobbi Wagner

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series)Power Play: 39 Juniper Court by Lainie Suzanne
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Power Play: 39 Juniper Court (The Juniper Court Series by Lainie Suzanne is part of The Juniper Court series. These books are written by an awesome group of authors that will take you on a journey through Juniper Court. I highly suggest reading all of the books in this series, you won’t regret picking them up. This is my first book by this author and I loved it! I can’t wait to see what else she has for me to read. Her writing style is easy flowing and engaging. Her attention to details made me feel as if I was right there with the characters. Her characters are lovable and connectable. They took me on a journey of hot steamy romance, laughter and compassion. I couldn’t put their story down until the last page. In this installment we get to see Nina and Sully’s story. Now that the children have left to their own lives, Nina feels like she wants to get back what her and Sully had before the children. She feels that they need a little spicing up in their relationship so she does some research to do just that. Will they find that kink that is missing since they had their children? I love these two characters. Sully made me laugh a few times with his attitude and behavior. I felt bad for Nina, she tries so hard to get something put back in her relationship. They do have a great relationship and they have great chemistry together. Without giving to much away with this book, I highly recommend you read Nina and Sully’s story. You don’t want to miss it. Find out if they are able to find their kink back!

Ummm, Holy Moly what a book!! What a great start to this series…I wasn’t sure how Id like this story just because of the lifestyle choice being chosen, and although not a choice I could ever make because I just can’t imagine the sharing part, I have to say this was written in a way that I could almost understand how this choice would be made.

David and Valley were happily married in every sense of the word, but they were curious and with Valleys sense of adventure and her insatiable needs David would do just about anything to make her happy, and he was a little curious as well.

Living on a cul de sac with other families who Valley was convinced had already formed their opinions about her, which she was pretty much fine with because she knew she would never be the coffee drinking lularoe wearing soccer mom that the rest of them were, made making friends a little hard. She didn’t know how to be discreet or fake and was never one to beat around the bush. We follow David and Valley as they explore something more, while still trying to be good parents to their two children. Can even the strongest marriage survive in this new lifestyle they are considering, and what will happen when the people in their small town catch on to it?

I loved both of these characters. Valley was awesome and I loved how she mothered her children, and loved her husband and how secure she was with who she was and offered no apology to anyone that couldn’t accept that.

I can not wait to continue this series, its going to be interesting reading different perspectives from different authors. I think this is an amazing idea, but just focussing on this one right now…This is my second read by this author and I can not wait to read more from her, this was awesome!!!

Project ParadiseProject Paradise by Phoebe Alexander
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Project Paradise (The Juniper Court Series) by Phoebe Alexander whose writing style flows and engages and her characters draw you in as they are easily connectable and lovable. This is a love story with a twist. This story is a hot and steamy, sexy and sizzling read where insecurities and doubts are left at the door.

The Archer’s have just moved to Juniper Court and are trying to fit in. Trouble is Valley is having a hard time doing that with the females in her area. When an out of the blue comment is made during a heated and oh so sexy time, Valley wonders if there is more to this comment than just words. After some research she decides to see where this could go and stumbles upon Project Paradise.

This is an enjoyable read and I was hooked and engrossed as the story unfolded and I will definitely be reading the other books in this series.

Project Paradise (The Juniper Court Series) by Phoebe Alexander is part of The Juniper Court series that is written by various authors. I have also read the second book in this series and I loved it. I highly recommend this book and this series. This book is not for anyone under the age of 18, it will certainly heat you up! This is my favorite book of this authors. It pulled me in right from the start and I couldn’t put it down until I read The End! Her writing style is easy flowing and engaging. Her characters pull you into the story with ease. They are connectable and lovable. This is the story of Valley and David. They have just moved to Juniper Court. David is always urging Valley to make friends with the other moms. But you see, Valley is not like other mothers, she doesn’t enjoy the things they do. She is highly sexed and wants lots of it. This is what urges her to check the internet out about swing. She then becomes determined to make her basement into a swinger paradise but at what cost? She doesn’t care what anyone thinks about their lifestyle but she does wonder if there are others in her community that are swingers. Is this a lifestyle that their marriage is strong enough to take or will fate have something else in mind for them? There is no doubt that this book is hot and steamy! At the beginning I didn’t really care so much for Valley. I thought she was selfish and not a very good parent. I have no doubt that she loves her children and just has a different way of things. I loved watching her grow throughout this story and she has no filter to her mouth. She is a strong character and independent but she could work on her people skills. David is a sweet man who loves Valley so much that he pretty much goes with the flow with her until he couldn’t anymore. They took me on an emotional roller coaster ride that had me laughing one minute and needing ice water the next. They also took me on a few twists and turns that you won’t necessarily see coming but I needed to find out what happened next. The secondary characters are just as connectable and lovable. There are a couple that I didn’t care for their attitude towards Valley but they are true to life and made the story flow. This is a must read story and series!
