The Last Dannon is BY FAR the best read of this series. The other two were good but this is the best! There is something so alluring about the hero with a tragic backstory. Kailen is also a badass which helps! But I can definitely see why Talaith is hesitant, which makes her even the more realistic. I have decidedly enjoyed the heroines of this author’s stories. On a side note, I would recommend reading the first two stories first as the mythology will make much more sense. Fantastic read!!

Will definitely read more from this author!

The Last Danann (Titanian Chronicles Book 3) by Victoria Saccenti

This is another wonderful novel by Saccenti. The Last Danann is a great read and I can’t wait for the next one. Titanian Chronicles is a great series.

Kailen is a great friend of Soren and we got to meet him in the last book. He is the last Danann and isn’t sure if he’s ever going to find his mate. The quote I chose for Kailen is: “No thanks are necessary, Lord.”

Talaith doesn’t want to feel emotions for Kailen but she does. When her Master shows up and tells her that he may or may not send her on a new mission. The quote I chose for Talaith is: “I left when he started grilling her. Maya is no one’s fool, and with Soren’s mind-to-mind guidance, she won’t be tricked into revealing the Simurgh lightning.”

Highly recommended for Mythology lovers.

WOW! This story gripped me from the beginning. The Last Dunann is a story that is part of the Titanian chronicles which focuses on two lovers; Kailen and Talaith.. This book has well written out world building, and the author does well in explaining the many different supernatural’s that are in this book. I thought the book flowed very well and could tell that the author had a specific story she wanted to get across to her audience through Kailen and Talaith. Speaking of the characters, I enjoyed the love story between the two. Kailen who is the Last Dunann experienced great loss which affected him as the years went by. He felt as love could never be reached by him, and he came to accept this ideology. However, Talaith, a powerful sorceress with very rare magic, sees Kailen and immediately understands that he is hers, and that she will change his mind about love and that he is capable of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of this book and can’t wait to continuing reading Ms. Saccenti’s work!

So yeah, I really loved this, like really really loved this. It been a while since I got properly stuck into a meaty fantasy and this just ticked all the boxes, which I’ve got to say made me super happy. Reading this little ray of awesome kind of made we want to hunt down more of Saccenti’s work because honestly, I do have to love her writing style. She’s got a way where you drop into the story and bam, its just there in front of your eyes, all vivid and sparkly and unleavable, because seriously I couldn’t put this bad boy down.
This being the 3rd book in a series I hadn’t, up until this point, read meant that there were some things that sort of nearly flew over my head, but if anything, it just made me want to read the other installments to get more of the awesomeness.
So, the up and the down is that Kailen, last dude remaining from his people on his current plain, after helping send the rest of them on their merry way to Tir na nÓg. The price for this however was for him to stay and pledge his fierce sword to the Seelie Court and after a bit, the Titanians. There’s lots of stuff in Kailen’s past, lots of pain, and heartbreak and of course really powerful badass druid sorceress’ that just so happen to run into him again. I’m talking about Talaith, and I love her!!
I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone that loves fantasy, loves romance, sod it anyone that loves reading and wants to stick something beautiful in front of their faces. You will love it, honestly.

Kailen is the last of the race of the Tuatha Dé Danann living on the earthly plain since he bargained their safe passage to the Tir na nÓg after their time on their current plain was over thanks to an unseen betrayal and in return, Kailen would remain and pledge his sword to first the Seelie Court and then to the Titanians. When he fights with them in a remote valley against a daemon horde, they beat them back and magic wielders sent them to another plain of existence, however, there were casualties and one was Kailen’s love who was killed during the fight to protect him, despite him telling her not to.

A thousand years has passed since that fateful day and Kailen hasn’t opened his heart to anyone else since, he has engaged in the pleasures of the flesh, but nothing more, that is until he comes face to face with Talaith, a powerful druid sorceress who is engaged by her mentor and a friend of Kailen’s to aid him during an operation when she is needed to save the life of Soren, a high ranking Titanian. Neither of them has ever forgotten the other, even though many years had passed between them meeting for the first time and the present day, especially the feelings they hide from both each other and themselves, the reunion, however is short lived as dangers surround them.

As usual, there are complications when the Titanians receive word that the exiled daemons may have returned, this leads Kailen and Talaith on a journey which is both dangerous and filled with the undeniable passion which ignites between them. As they try investigate the sightings and attempt to hold off a renewed attack from the daemons, will they be able to protect each other, or will the death magic surrounding the daemons tear them apart? This is an action packed paranormal romance in which you are whirled along with the current of events as good fights evil to keep the natural order and balance of things intact.

I’ve read Titanian’s Phoenix, the first book in this series, which I preferred to this novel. But I still really enjoyed this paranormal romance and the way the love story between Kailen and Talaith unfolds. Both have dark, haunted pasts and their story is full of drama. I thought the world-building across different places and times was impressive, and every page is full of details and the battle scenes in particular were intense. Full of adventure, and I can’t wait to see where this story goes next.

This is not my typical genre, but the story is so awesome it will pull anyone in. The world we are taken to is magical, and here we see romance, action, shifters, adventure, really all you could want in a story. I really enjoyed watching Kailen and his journey. He was pretty broken after the incident with Nadrine, and becoming the last in his family line, I didn’t think he would recover, but the heart has a way of healing when you least expect it. I felt selfish for a minute and really didn’t want Kailen to open his heart to anyone else. At first Kailen and Talaith didn’t feel right to me but I was won over and was excited to see their pairing, with all they go through leading up to their relationship as well as fighting along side each other for the Titanians. I highly recommend this book and would definitely recommend reading them in order as you will want to get to know some of the characters from previous books.

The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2The Last Danann: Titanian Chronicles 2 by Victoria Saccenti
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I give this a 4 out if 5 stars.

The Last Danann starts by dropping us off back in time to learn a little more about Kailen, the mysterious and unique healer that resides with the Titan, Soren. We learn about the love he had for his people, the losses he’s suffered, and the pain he’s gone through for centuries to get him where he is. But one thing remains constant, Kaiden refuses to love again.

When Talaith resurfaces in Kailen’s life and they are pushed together to help save the people they care about, he has no choice but try and keep his distance. Talaith gave Kailen her heart years ago, and is prepared to do whatever it takes to show him she’s there, but not too close.

Working together, they search and find answers to the problems that are popping up in the world, but when death magic hits, can Kailen protect her or will he lose her forever?

After reading Victoria Saccenti’s first Titanian Chrinicles (Titanian’s Phoenix), it left me wanting more so I picked up The Last Danann to see if any of my questions and desires were answered. And they were! I loved how we were able to learn about Kailen’s past and why he is how he is.

The way Saccenti wove the storyline to encompass the vampire, Eachann and his lost mate really helped to suck me in and make me wonder what else may happen. I can’t wait to see what Victoria Saccenti does for the next part in the Titanian Chronicles, but I’m here for it!

This was a thrilling read, we start off with a battle in a great fantasy world. I was pulled right in.

Kailen was great, he was a very strong character. He is dedicated to trying to save his world. Having lost his true love tragically he is protective of his heart and has no plans to find another love. But fate may have other plans for him.

Talaith is a sorceress and has offered her help to battle for the Titanians to get their master back. When she meets Kailen there is an instant connection. As these two work more and more together the sparks continue to grow between them. Will they resist or give into their feelings?

Overall this was a great read. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. We get drama, mystery, supernatural and so much more in this story. All of the characters were amazing and added a great element to the story. If you’re looking for a great read, 1-click and get started today.

The Last Danann (Titanian Chronicles, Book 3) by Victoria Saccenti was really a wonderful addition to this paranormal romance series. After reading it after one sitting I am hoping that Ms. Saccenti isn’t done with all of these wonderful characters and this beautiful plot line because this paranormal romance reader wants more. There is just so much wrapped up on this story that it was impossible to put it down from the dram, the mystery, the romance, the danger and so much more Ms. Saccenti really delivers it all. This is a great fantasy adventure/romance. This is part of the Titanian Chronicles. This story is action packed and the author does an amazing job of transporting you through time from one place to another.

Kailen struck a deal to help save his people however his end of the deal means he can’t join them. He needs to spend his time travelling through the ages helping the Titanian’s face and defeat the forces of evil, to stop them overtaking and destroying the world. Kailen  has remained loyal to his mission but when the women he gets close to loving gets killed in battle he walls his heart off and vows never to love again.

That is until he meets a Druid/healer called Talaith. Talaith  has her own story of why she keeps herself locked away from love. However when Kailen and Talaith start to work together their walls start to crumble as their relationship grows.
Things are so happily ever after though as the daemons they face release a new magic that is set to kill them all and the price Kailen is willing to pay to keep Talaith safe may in the end destroy them both.

This book is an emotional story full of passion, Romance and lots of violence and adventure. You will be kept on the edge of your seat waiting to find out what happens next and will the couple who finally find love survive it to finally be together.

This is my second book in this series. I was pretty excited when I saw this show up. Sadly this didn’t hold up to the previous one. The story covers a long time period and after a while I just seemed to lose interest. Maybe too many plots so I couldn’t become invested in the main story. There also are a TON of characters to keep track of who/what they are and alliances, mates etc. Some we met in the last book others were new to me. While I enjoy stories of this genre it was a struggle for me to finish this one.

It was nice to see Soren and Maya and see how they are getting along and how much they moved forward. Plus seeing more of she skills. I am curious about Eachann’s story though.

Overall this is a good story. I do like the characters and they are interesting.

If you like mythology, you will love this book. This author has an amazing descriptive writing talent. I could see the words painting a picture in my mind. The characters are complex, complicated, and easy to relate to their personalities. In this story, there are ups and downs, ins and outs, twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. Kallen has pledged his sword to the Titanian. Talaith is a Titanian warrior that is a beauty. When they are attacked their passion comes seeping into play they are a force to be reckoned with. Can they become passionate with one another like they are passionate about fighting against the daemons? I highly recommend this book to find out for yourself. This novel was the second in the series and I will say I need to go back and read the prior novel. I was very impressed with all components of this novel, inside and out. It gave me a lot, and the visual effects were very much welcomed, the story was not only convincing, but also powerful!

I loved Kailen! He was a total bass ass. He had his battle scars as well. he was a person and character I truly fell for and felt for! He was doing all he could to help his world, no matter at the end what would be left of him, he knew it would all be worth it. He is doing a battle to save his world, which was beautifully as it was described. He was ready for what ever came his way, or was he? He has a fragile heart, his soul mate was lost to him in a very breaking his heart way and he truly felt that he would never love again, as the pain is not bearable enough to endure once again. Perhaps the universe had other plans though?

Talaith was look more than the eyes when Kailen met her, for his eyes saw her soul. Every part of him said that he will not want her or feel for her. Could he deny the true attraction he was feeling despite the promise he made to himself? I loved the drama this book brought as well as the suspense. Rooting for Kailen and Talaith to find the destiny they seemed meant for was me since their first meet. I loved the world of the fantasy this novel delivered. It was brilliant, I can not find a better word to use!

The book was captivating and stunning with descriptions as well as the words of the writing! The book was amazing from start to finish. This was a first time author read for me, I am left wanting to read so much more by this amazing author, and I defiantly will! This book was so good and seriously you need to read this book, for all it is worth and all that it is! Pure brilliance!

The Last Danann is the third book in the Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti. This is such a fantastic series- with wonderfully descriptive writing and clever details that really brought the story to life. The author’s world building being both imaginative and well-constructed, which resulted in a richly vivid tale. As with the other two books, this is fantasy done well- with action, adventure, a little mystery, drama, danger, paranormal elements, supernatural beings, intrigue, tension, mythology, evil sorcerers, magic, and so much more.
If you haven’t read the other two books in this series, I highly recommend that you do so before starting on this story as there are connected characters and details that you will want to know about before diving into this book.
I really hope this isn’t the last we will see of the Titanian ‘world’ and Chronicles…. Looking forward to seeing what Victoria Saccenti does next.

The Last Danaan by Victoria Saccenti is the sequel to Titanian’s Phoenix in her exciting fantasy series the Titanian Chronicles. The story opens with Kailen battling Astarot’s horde and dark wizards alongside the young Titanian Soren. Kailen has protection from his love Nadrine, a powerful sorceress. When Kailen notices a fellow warrior had been outnumbered by two strong adversaries, he tries to give aid, only to be put in the sights of a lieutenant. Nadrine interferes, but a dark wizard vanquishes her. From that moment, Kailen declares he will never love another again. Fast-forward to the 21st century and Kailen has attracted the desire of Talaith, a sorceress that has the ability to see memories of others. Despite his attempt to ignore her, he finds himself drawn in and becomes intimate. Kailen makes Talaith his right hand and vows to protect her.

Dubtach, Oras, and Brysys have somehow broken free from the exile realm. Brysys is adamant in reaching Eachann to plead her case. Unknown to many, Astarot had kept the sorceress locked in a cell. From the view of Eachann and the Titanains, she is a traitor due to a conspiracy caused by Eachann’s brother. When Brysys is battling against one of Dubtach’s creatures, Kailen and Talaith come to her aid. The powerful sorceress endures severe injuries, and they teleport straight into Eachann’s home. The vampire doesn’t promise Brysys anything more than to receive treatment and if she stays any longer, he will kill her. This causes a problem for Kailen and Talaith, as they were already assigned a mission in another location. Kailen vowed to never be separated from Talaith, but Brysys has to be taken to Soren’s to recover. While Talaith and Kailen are separated, will he be able to keep his promise, or will Talaith end up like Nadrine?

Victoria Saccenti’s The Last Danaan complimented perfectly Titanian’s Phoenix. I have had the pleasure of reading both books in order and found the developing plot captivating. The characters in the first book still appeared and the connections that Kailen and Talaith had with them continue to develop. I could fully understand the hesitation Talaith had of showing her emotions to Kailen. He did a lot to dismiss her overtures and was distrustful of her intentions. I didn’t expect how quickly Kailen changed his thoughts about Talaith, especially after his vow to never love another woman since Nadrine had died. Eachann’s pain from discovering Brysys is alive is believable, and I would probably feel similarly if a few hundred years had passed since being betrayed. The story’s pace is definitely one of my favorite aspects because it held my attention and I found myself unable to stop reading until I reached the end. The open ending leads directly into another edition of the series. I would recommend this 5-star fantasy romance to any adult reader that enjoys shifter stories. The ability to look through their eyes and see what Talaith and Kailen feelings is effortless and makes this book a delight. I look forward to more stories in The Titanian Chronicles.

I mean where do I start? Wow just wow. I really found myself lost in this one as the story evolved. I like how the author is able to combine different paranormal storylines and bring them together. I like the use of Norse mythology.

I could really relate to Talaith and I was glued to the pages to see the romance between her and Kallen blossom. I really like how there is a good mix of drama. The whole good versus evil is betrayed really well. The author has a refreshing style that brings the characters off of the page. The drama plays out and you feel as though you are right there with them. I cannot wait to read more from this author.

I enjoyed reading Kailen and Talaith’s story. Both are rather tortured souls that find completion with each other. There is a lot more history with Kailen compared to Talaith but I felt like the author did justice to both, considering that it is his story. This story is a continuation of the Titanians’ struggle with the daemon’s trying to take over with the help of their evil mages. I enjoyed seeing old characters throughout the story and the introduction of new ones.

Ms. Saccenti was wonderful in her descriptive language of all the different places this story takes the reader. I felt like I was experiencing the unique atmosphere of South America, New York, and Scotland with the characters. Her depiction of the characters were such that I found them relatable, too (in as far as you can with a paranormal character).

All in all, a very enjoyable read! The plot, the characters, and the different places kept me reading and I will continue reading this series to see how they defeat evil in the end!
