Due 10/19 Titanians Phoenix (Titanian Chronicles Book 2) by Victoria Saccenti
Not the first book I’ve read by Saccenti. This is the first book of the series I’ve read. Saccenti is an amazing author and I can never wait for the next one.
Maya is human and is in for a shock. She is kidnapped along with her godmother. What she doesn’t know is that her life may be changing for the better. The quote I chose for Maya is: “Are you hurt? Are you hurt? The sounds were horrible. What was that disgusting green liquid? Zeus is back to normal too. I’m so happy, so relieved.”
Soren didn’t think he would ever find his mate. Then he gets the shock of his life when she shows up at the bar he’s at. She was told to look for him, meaning something is wrong. The quote I chose for Soren is: “That’s my mate, and she needs me. I’m going to help her. Now.”

Full of suspense, drama, action, romance and so much more Ms. Saccenti gives us so many twists and turns that you won’t want to stop reading until you find out what happens. This book was absolutely spellbinding! The complex world and magic was perfect and the characters were so well written and I just loved every page. It is very fast paced and hard to put down. I loved the lore surrounding Soren and Maya and reading their story as the plot developed was thrilling. There is plenty of steamy romance and plenty of action also. The story revolves around Maya and Soren and their inner circle as they fight for all of the good with magic, supernatural creatures and humans against the evil determined to turn the tide in their favor. The other characters in their inner circle all have complexities and I hope to read more about them. All in all I am in awe of the magical world and lore built in this story and can’t wait to read the next book! Highly recommend this book!

Titanian’s Phoenix is a fantasy/romance that I absolutely loved reading. I loved the story and the characters. I needed an adventure and this didn’t disappoint. I found myself lost in the pages and couldn’t stop until I finished. There’s action, mythical creatures, magic and romance . Maya and Soren have a strong connection from the get go . Maya always thought she was normal. Her grandmother used to tell her stories or so she thought that’s what they were. When they are kidnapped she learns of a whole nother life she only thought existed in the stories she was told. Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. This is definitely one I’m going to re-read. Im looking forward reading more from this Author.

This was a great read, with plenty of both old and new world fantasy, magical beings and powers, and tons of action. The worldbuilding is incredible and the descriptions are so vivid. I loved the idea of Maya and Soren supposedly fated to be mates but whatever their concerns, their romance is timeless, even with all of the action and adventure they go through as well. The other characters are also well-developed. This is definitely a page-turner read.
Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles By Victoria Saccenti
This book took me on a great adventure. I was drawn in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. This story is rich in detail with great world building. There is action, danger, magic, romance and wonderful characters. I enjoyed watching Maya learn and grow into her powers. The moment Maya and Soren meet you can feel the connection between these two and their connection grows and gets stronger as the story goes. This book also has a lot of other characters that I grew very fond of. I cannot wait to read what comes next. I can’t say enough good things about this book. I highly recommend reading it.
If you love fantasy and paranormal books, look no further because Titanian’s Phoenix is the book for you. Victoria Saccenti did an amazing job building this world for us to visit. Her descriptive writing style can be seen from the first page until the last. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride and I did not want to get off until I was finished with the book. The characters are fully developed with multiple layers so you can bond with them. Maya is unsure of the fantasy world and magic. Maya’s godmother, Anna, and herself are kidnapped by elves. Maya and Anna get freed by this unknown power. Now Maya is learning about everything. Maya finds Soren and the rest is exciting. There is a bond between Soren and Maya that makes Soren protective over Maya and Maya learning more about her role in the fantasy world. I highly recommend this book to see what happens between Maya and Soren.

This book is a romance novel that travels well throughout the realms. The magic and supernatural element makes it such a special read. “Titanian’s Phoenix” is written with such intense experiences in mind, the words are made to flow together beautifully. The main characters grow together and make each other better. Their relationship is the relationship everybody wants: intuitive towards each other’s wants and needs, unconditional love under any circumstances, and complete and total trust in the shared commitment. Read this book if you enjoy romance, lust, bravery, cool fight scenes, supernatural magic, and a whole new world to lose yourself in. The author makes the reader feel safe, loved, adventurous, and adored, simply by experiencing the characters feelings for one another and heir societal obligations.
So nothing rains on a normal parade than being kidnapped by a bunch of elves along with your godmother, the same godmother that has told you all your life that you are absolutely normal. To be honest, I would get suspicious by such an assertion made so many times, but Maya doesn’t notice how shady this is till she is knee-deep in pointy-eared problems and gets out of it by some mysterious power that she had been assured all her life was not a thing. Not long after these massive bombshells exploded in her lap and blew any chance of normality out of the water, her godmother (name of Anna by the way) tells her to go and find the owner of a magical bar by the name of Soren. I have to say, I quite liked the name Soren for a male lead, was obscure but not to the point that you got the impression the author had pored through a book of weird baby names that no one ever thought of. When Maya and Soren meet, sparks fly, stars align and they connect, with Soren realising that, even though it had never been in the scrolls for him, that she is his mate and will literally do anything to protect her. I really liked this, especially the fantasy elements. I especially liked the moments in the bar, wished it were somewhere that actually existed where I could just pop off to for drink, but alas with the way things are that is a fantasy. I think that Saccenti has created something really interesting here and look forward to reading more of her work.
Maya is a woman brought up in New York by her godmother Anna, she is street smart, independent and loves her job and has been brought up on fairytales which common sense denied could not be true, but all that changes when she and Anna are kidnapped by Elves and in order to escape, her godmother has to reveal some of her past which has been kept a secret for many years and tells her to head straight to a bar and ask for a man called Soren when she gets there. This is all too much for Maya to take in, but when she has to go, she does exactly as Anna asks, even though she wants to return to the apartment first, so with nothing but the clothes on her back, she escapes and with full awareness that the elves will be following her as soon as they realise she has gone, however, when she gets to the bar, it isn’t what she expected and neither is the man she finds there, or the effect he has on her.
Soren has been summoned to the pub and as he enters, the patrons either disperse or are blinded to their arrival if they are human, this makes it easier to scan them and take their drinks upstairs so they can keep a look out for why their presences were required, it all seems normal until a well known elf comes in, but this normal in the least and when he is joined by a demon and a human, it is even less so and the discussion they have is even more disturbing the longer it goes on, this puts Soren on alert and he calls on a friend to share this new piece of information. As soon as someone is sent to follow each of the leads, Soren returns to his drink, that is until a woman walks in the door and his body reacts instantly, he doesn’t know what is happening to him until his tattoo starts to tingle and he realises that his mate has just walked in, this is a complete surprise as his life scroll has never revealed a mate, but he is going to protect her with his life of he needs to and when she faints as soon as she looks at him, her fate is sealed as well. He immediately takes her to his home and meets up with his family and friends to update them on the situation while waiting for the ones he sent out to return and fill them in on their finds, but when one goes missing, it becomes a race against time to find them.
As the group find out more about the danger they are in and what the enemy is planning, the budding relationship between Maya and Soren develops, as does Maya’s Phoenix mark, she is having a hard time processing it all and is thankful for all the help she is getting from others, but when she starts to come into powers of her own, the group must try and keep the information to themselves as any inklings of it getting to the enemy will spell their downfall.
Will Maya and Soren work things out and be able to complete their bond before time runs out, or will the enemy play their cards right and stop whatever they may have in its tracks? Will they be able to defeat their enemy when the need arises, or will the casualty numbers grow before they can do anything about it? This is a story of romance, love, revelations and relationships which are tested to their breaking point, it is an adventure with more secrets than the characters can handle and a lot of action, but to know what happens, you have to read to the end and enjoy the revelations as they come!
What an incredible start to Victoria Saccenti’s newest series! Titanian’s Phoenix is a new take on the idea of humans unknowingly coexisting alongside mythical creatures, and the power struggle between the different races of fae. Maya Brown never really payed much credence to her godmother’s stories about magic existing in the world, until she wakes up kidnapped and drawn into the middle of a struggle for power and control in the mythical world. Soren Westerberg is a Titanian Enforcer, tasked with being the final line of protection and justice in this fantastic world; it is both a birthright and a curse. He never anticipated that his life path would include a soulmate, someone who is destined to be his perfect match in all things, until Maya stumbled in to the dive bar favored by his people asking for him by name and in need of his help to evade her kidnappers. This first encounter of the story’s lead characters is the introduction to nonstop action and uncovering secrets within a world of magic.
Well this author just smashed this book out of the park! I am impressed with the world building, characters and story line. I just couldn’t get enough. I enjoyed watching Maya take her journey and find her way. She is a smart gal and that just help enhance her in her new life. Soren is a protective, possessive guy! He is all about making sure she is safe while he leads the other enforcers.
The secondary characters are plentiful and delightful. The author does a good job not overwhelming us with a bunch of characters all at once. They are slowly introduced which helps build their characters as well as the connection to the main ones.
Overall this is excellent. The story took me on a journey and the characters kept me interested. There is lively conversations. I eagerly look forward to more!

Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti 4 Stars!!!!
I love finding new authors to read. This book was an excellent find. I find that the author has a very refreshing story as well as a nice mix of fantasy and romance along with just the right amount of drama and action. I really found myself getting lost in this book and just didn’t want it to end.
I really like the energy between Maya and Soren. I like how the blend of mythical and human is used in the book and I like how it wasn’t predictable. I like that the author is able to weave a tale and draw in the reader and keep the lure. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti really took me by surprise- in a great way. Wonderfully descriptive writing really brought this story to life in rich and vivid detail. The world building is both imaginative and well crafted. It was so easy to imagine everything- almost like watching everything unfold instead of merely reading the words. This is fantasy done well- with action, adventure, a little mystery, drama, danger, paranormal elements, supernatural beings, and so much more. Maya always thought she was a ‘normal’ girl and the stories her godmother told were exactly that- just stories. But then they are kidnapped, and Maya discovers a whole world she thought of only in ‘fairytales’, really did exist. Life will never be the same, and she’s not at all ‘normal’. With evil threatening- Maya will need some help in order to overcome the odds. What happens in this adventure makes for an excellent read. Recommended for all fantasy and paranormal story fans.

I enjoyed this magical story. I have read quite a few books by this author, this one is my favorite yet. This is a well developed story that took me on a magical adventure that kept me turning pages. This story is full of action, magic and it is fast paced. This is a story of love at first sight, life mates and some unexpected things. I enjoyed the characters Maya and Soren and what they brought to the story. They really are just strong characters that have a great chemistry together. They made the story fun and entertaining to read. I highly recommend this book.
Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti – Review by Gail Guerrero
Five Stars
What an amazing adventure this story took us on. The magic, mythical beings and romance. The growth of the characters was amazing to watch. To see the bonds grow and mature into something great. Even though it was life changing for Maya she handled it well. To be told you’re different than what you have always believe is a hard pill to swallow. I love a story that can blind so much together and make it work. The story line was nice and to the point. You get to read about a place you can only dream of. A life full of adventure and change. I really like the writing style of this author will definitely be reading more.
This was one of those books that drew me in with the cover. I just knew I needed to read it and find out what adventure awaited the moment I set my eyes on it. I wasn’t disappointed either and this book really drew me into a magical world full of all the mystery and intrigue one could want. I loved how I felt as if I was right there with Maya as she discovered who and what she is when she is thrust into a world she never knew she would be a part of. I am excited that this will have more books to follow in the Titanian Chronicles. I will for sure be back for more of the magic and adventure. I just know they will all be worth a read after this one.
Romance, adventure and fantasy are what drove me to read the book. The world-building and writing style captivated me throughout the book and I could not put it down. I loved the character of Maya and I gasped and laughed alongside her.
Maya and Soren – the setting – the story – I am literally at a loss for words for everything that was packed into these pages. This felt like a modern fantasy with tons of action and just the right amount of chemistry. Beautiful imagery and fantastic characters, this is a book fantasy lovers will thoroughly enjoy and one I cannot wait to read again!
Titanians Phoenix: Titanians Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti is a fantastic mix of fantasy and romance that it will really draw you in. It is clear from the start that the characters are perfect for each other. They have such a strong connection with each other and it was brilliant to read about. It pulled me into their story and really made me engage with them. The story itself I found to be exciting. It was detailed and imaginative and so well written. The author has created a fantastic world that really does just capture your attention. This is such a good story I would definitely recommend you reading it today!
Love a good book when magic is involved. It has action, mystery and romance. Maya is such a great character she always thought she was a human until something happens and her godmother tells her she must go and find Soren, she is then thrown into a whole other world one she has no clue about and to top it off is told she now has a mate. Soren and Maya are great together even if she isn’t sure at first and doesn’t believe in eternal mates, she never even believed in magical and mythical creatures until now she thought they were just old wise tales, so why would her so called eternal mate be any different.
I really loved this story. It has a mixture of everything I love in a book. Great adventure, supernatural beings and a romance that is timeless. The story is so easy to read and fast paced and the characters are really well written.
Maya is a normal girl or so she thought. Being raised by her godmother she lived a pretty normal life. Until the day she and her godmother are kidnapped. Why would someone want to harm her? What do they want with her? After helping Maya escape her godmother tells her she needs to find Soren as he will be able to protect her.
When Maya finds Soren the connection is immediate. Soren realises that Maya is his eternal mate and he know he will do anything to protect her.
With something bad happening and other supernatural beings disappearing and turning up dead there is a battle on their hands. Maya has to learn about her true identity, her ability and what it means to have an eternal mate as well as help Soren defeat the evil that is trying to end all supernatural beings.
Maya life is changing after the death of her parents. Such a fun read. Maya doesn’t believe what she is been told at first. How could this be true. Surely they are pulling her leg whilst she’s going through a tradgey. Talking about mates and finding her true mate. Watching thier interaction together and the development made the characters.

I wasn’t sure I would like the book from the first couple of chapters, but I was very pleasantly surprised and got completely sucked into the world of Titanians, Phoenixs and the like. To say I enjoyed the book is an understatement, I loved this book! The story has action, adventure, intrigue, romance, mystery and excitement. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Titanian’s Phoenix: Titanian Chronicles by Victoria Saccenti is a paranormal fantasy story. Victoria’s world and word building lures, you into the fantasy giving you so many possibilities. The stakes are high when you have a human who is much more than she ever knew. Just who is she and where does she truly come from. The story has a little of everything to make it a great story with, magic and elves, eccentric godmothers and fae lots of action and paranormal beings, romance and enemies.
I was intrigued and soon fell into the tale and everything came alive and it was easy to envision it all. I was fully engrossed and before I knew it, it was drawing to a close and having to say goodbye to the characters.
Imagine an elderly relative telling you stories of a magic realm’s existence. Anna told her god-daughter several stories about elves, titans, and more creatures that coexisted among humans. Maya dismissed the stories about magic as make-believe or perhaps senility from her godmother. Then the unthinkable happens. In Titanian’s Phoenix, Victoria Saccenti shows Maya Brown’s discovery of the truth behind Anna’s stories. Mays arrives home from work and is drugged by an unknown assailant. When she wakes up, she finds Anna has also been abducted. Anna assists Maya’s escape with magic and advises her to find Soren or Brant. When she arrives at the bar, she asks the barmaid where to find Soren. The large Titan appears suddenly behind her, causing her to faint. He has been expecting to claim Maya as his mate. Before her arrival, Soren had been watching a meeting between a man, daemon and an elf about production of something that would change the dynamics of the magical realm’s existence. Maya is about to embark upon a journey into the magic realm.
There is nothing negative to say about Titanian’s Phoenix. The descriptions of the scenery and the well-developed characters allowed my full engagement with Saccenti’s story. I felt the frustration that Maya felt when she didn’t understand how Soren could be amorous one day and dismissive the next. I was suspicious of Talaith’s quiet role as a powerful seer. This is a story that will captivate your mind and keep you begging for more. I sincerely look forward to reading the other books included in this series. I recommend this book for mature adults due to the explicit scenes, violence, and profanity. These elements do not detract from this five-star novel’s quality.
I’m a sucker for a good plot, down to earth characters and a love story. And oh boy, did this story deliver and some. The story starts off with you stepping into this magically world with mythical creatures, humans and then you meet Soren – The tall, handsome, gets you weak in the knees, Titanian warrior that is not only trying to solve a murder mystery but also trying to find his mate. In his search, he finds Maya – the beautiful, witty, smart and charming human. I absolutely fell in love with these characters individually but when these two came together – the chemistry that Victoria Saccenti writes is perfectly done. I highly recommend this book to anyone that likes adventure, supernatural beings and a good, hit you right in the heart, love story.

Such a fun read. I was immediately sucked into this story, with all the magical beings and action involved. The part about Maya being the destined mate for Soren was so sweet and watching their relationship unfold was also very sweet. Maya is a human and Soren is of the Titanian race, but Maya is not only human. Soren and his friends find out what Maya is truly capable of and the powers she receives and it is nice to see she is fitting in and grasping her new life. Their relationship starts of kind of iffy, due to Soren following the laws of his people, and for a minute I didn’t think Maya was going to accept their relationship but, they worked through it and came out stronger. I loved this couple and watching them go on an adventure to figure out who and which race was trying to destroy humans and other beings. It might be a long shot but for some reason I feel like Soren’s uncle Gustaf has something to do with it, he seems kind of shady. I loved all the characters in this book, each was very well written in and interesting to get to know. I hope there is another book, I can’t wait to see what is in store for these friends next.
Maya Brown is New York tough. She doesn’t believe in magic—until she’s kidnapped along with her eccentric godmother, Anna. By elves.
Freed by a strange power, and reeling from bizarre revelations about her heritage, Maya follows Anna’s plea to seek out a man named Soren at—of all things—a magical bar. Maya doesn’t believe in love at first sight, either, but when she encounters seven-plus feet of muscle and mood-changing eyes, her body does a full-on reset.
Nothing shakes up Soren Westerberg, Titanian Enforcer assigned to NYC. Until a beautiful human woman with golden skin and lost brown eyes walks into a bar. In one trembling instant he knows that she’s his mate—who promptly faints away in his arms.
Their bond is instant, gloriously intense, and a miracle. Soren’s life scroll never foretold a mate, but now that he has her, he’ll protect her at all costs. Because she’s not just his—she’s an extraordinary being coming into her power. And ready or not, that makes her a target of his cruelest enemy.
Award-winning, multi-genre author Victoria Saccenti picked up pencil and paper the moment her childhood book heroes started conversing with her. Sounds a little crazy, but there’s no rhyme or reason for inspiration. She writes romantic women’s fiction, contemporary romance, and paranormal romance. Her stories explore the twists and turns of human interaction, the many facets of love, and all possible happy endings. After thirty years of traveling the world, she’s settled in Central Florida. However, if she could convince her husband to sell their home, she would pack up her computer and move to Scotland, a land she adores.
