In the beginning I thought this was another blissfully happy HEA in the making. Elsa and Anton are perfectly happy, successful people both missing the one thing they crave… family. They come together in marriage and then tragedy strikes as Elsa miscarries their baby in the first trimester. Can Anton’s love bring her back from the depressive black hole that has sucked her in? A perfectly imperfect read that is emotional and inspiring.

I had to push through to read the first few chapters but it quickly became a good story. Caspian is set to inherit his Uncle’s company but there is one caveat. Caspian must take a wife and stay married for at least one year in order to take over. As is the way of fate he bumps into an old childhood friend who is down on her luck. Paisley is a struggling artist and her mother is extremely Ill. Caspian and Paisley begin a marriage of convenience that quickly turns to a mirror of self discovery. Will they find true and abiding love or will their illusions of self cause them to drift further apart? This was an easy read and the simplicity of the story allows you to take breaks in between chapters. I really enjoyed it.

Elsa and Anton have what seems like the perfect marriage until tragedy happens. They go through a lot of trials and tribulations in this story. I found myself completely invested in their story. I found this book to be emotional and I couldn’t put it down until I found out if they are able to work through the issues. This book deals with some serious issues and the author does an excellent job writing about these issues in a sensitive, compassionate way. This was a great read and I’m glad I decided to dive right in. I highly recommend this book.

Anton is an actor and one of the Titans. Even though he spends a majority of his time filming away from home, he knows his heart has found a home with Elsa. Elsa is a high-powered real estate agent who is head over heels in love with Anton. When Anton pops the question, there isn’t a doubt in her mind when she says yes.
Both are excited about their new marriage and want to start a family together. However, when tragedy strikes, the strength of their love is put to the test. Elsa copes by pushing Anton away…and finding any way she can to dull the pain she is feeling. When Anton issues an ultimatum, and Elsa ignores it, she must make a decision that will alter her life.
I felt for both of these characters. They are both juggling life and work…and finding the balance is hard to do. While they both deal with loss during this book…Elsa is is also dealing with learning that the future she has planned out for herself cannot happen. This book covers a lot of heavy topics…but in a way that is human and feels real. I enjoyed this story and look forward to the next book in the series.

Book one of the Titans of Manhattan series. Caspian is your typical rich playboy. Women were no more than something to be used and discarded. Paisley was a blast from the past. When he is forced to get married to get his inheritance he decides to make it beneficial for his wife as well. He rescued Paisley from her circumstances, but can she save him from his demons? Love this couple so much!

Well I am not sure where to order one of these Titans of Manhattan, but wow! This is book 2 in the series and the 2nd titan we are meeting. Anton is a famous movie star that every woman wants. He only wants Elsa. Will they get their happily ever after or will their world break apart? I think I have become addicted to these titans and I can’t wait to read more about them.

The one thing I enjoy best is reading a book that is down to earth and realistic. Even though the characters are fiction it is good to see that they had flaws and that they have to battle for things just like normal people. I found that the author had such a good balance of drama as well as romance. I like the fact that it wasn’t predictable. I also like how the author made the characters relatable.
I like how life wasn’t perfect and the characters had to overcome obstacles. There is just something that draws one in more when nothing is predictable and you are hooked on the book and don’t want to put it down as you want to see how it will all end. I will definitely read more from this author.
This is book 2 of the series but can be read as a stand alone. I loved it. The twists an turns between Elsa and Anton show what can happen to an everyday average couple an in any marriage. Shows how to really lovevan support each other rather than just give up. Add their amazing romance makes me wanting to read book 3!! Cant wait!

A Sublime five-star read. This is number two in the Titans of Manhattan series, and follows on so well from the first, we met Anton and Elsa in the first instalment, but they come to life in this one. This is a fast-paced story, and you can feel the romance and passion the main characters show each other, but the pain is also palpable and so real between the couple. There are so many layers to this story, they will all suck you in and make you feel the story. The author has a way with words that will just keep you hooked from the first page to the last.

I am going to completely honest that I almost didn’t read this book, the authors warning triggered many things for me but I felt like I needed to know if she could write about these things as well as I anticipated and I have to say she absolutely did. Was it hard to read at times – yes, did I cry remembering some of these things happening to me – absolutely but I absolutely cannot fault the authors writing. It was excellent, she had clearly thought about everything she wrote about and this really was an amazing story. I was hooked from beginning to end and did feel like I was right there with the characters at times, the emotion and heartbreak came across really well. A truly wonderful read and I 100% recommend it.

This is the second book of the Titans of Manhattan series. Although it can be read as a standalone, I recommend reading the first book as well (it’s great). This is Anton and Elsa’s story… and what a story it is! It is beautiful and heartbreaking and fabulous. The author has done a wonderful job at writing one of the best real life fairytales I’ve ever read. It deals with miscarriage, and infertility, as well as drug and alcohol abuse. (If these are triggers for you, you may not want to read this; but the outcome is inspiring.) Elsa and Anton’s story is imperfectly perfect.

I had a hard time reading this book for some reason. I enjoyed it, but I think some of the things that happened hit a little too close to home for me. I cried a lot and found myself lost in thought after reading for a bit.
Anton and Elsa have a love that so many people dream of. A normal marriage can crack under pressure but there is no way a normal marriage could withstand what they went though.
I liked this book and love the series. Looking for to see which of the Titans is brought to his knees.

I absolutely loved this steamy read. Caspian and Paisley were super likable characters, and extremely easy to follow. The way the author wrote the story from different POV gave a overall great understanding of the characters and kept those pages turning. I have read a few Marriage Agreement type romance plots and this one didn’t disappoint – definitely a must read for romance lovers.

Anton, a famous actor is finally proposing to his love Elsa. Everything seems to be working out just as they hoped, Anton is continuing his acting career and Elsa is a well known real estate agent in New York. Anton and Elsa’s story takes a curveball I kind of expected from the warning about some experiences in the story might trigger some readers. To be honest, I was somewhat surprised to find myself tearing up as I read portions of this book. I think the author did a wonderful job of showing some difficult situations couples find themselves in when life doesn’t exactly go how you planned or prayed for it. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

Anton Kingston has reached his happy place. He has it all right down to his family and his one true love. Elsa Fitzgerald has worked hard to become successful in the real estate business. One would think she had it all. Well she did! By dating Anton long distances they soon became engaged, as they dated for over a year. So when Anton asked for her hand in marriage, she just had to say yes. LIFE WAS BETTER THAN EVER. These two beautiful happy people come together. As their marriage moves forward, life for Anton and Elsa begins to shatter, challenging their love. This author has a way of bringing to life the challenges most of us have experienced. I felt so close to Elsa and Anton. My heart broke for them both. But as I read on I could see the changes that could have broken the family apart. But we know there has to be a HEA. So the author had her work cut out for her. Read on to see if they do get their HEA. Bring tissue, chocolate and your drink of choice. You are going to be here for a while. There will be tears, some very intense moments, and some strength that will blow your mind. This book has it all.

What a great book! It totally pulled me in from the beginning and did not let up until the end of the book. With a story that flowed smoothly from start to finish, it made for a joy to read. The challenges Aston and Elsa face were hard. I loved following them as they overcame their challenges. The chemistry is spicy, just what I like to see in a romance. The characters are well-written and easy to relate to. It’s a fantastic book that you should give a hot. I highly recommend.

Must read! Like the first book, this one is also told from different POV which gives you a nice perspective on the characters. However, differing from the first book I did find Anton and Elsa’s story to be a extreme emotional rollercoaster with more realistic themes to the story. Could be read as a stand alone but I would recommend reading from the start of the series. I can’t wait for book three!

This was an emotional 5 star read. Once I started I couldn’t put it down, I read it in one sitting. It was over way too fast for me. We get another Titans’s story, Anton and Elsa’s.
Anton is a heartthrob actor and Elsa is a real estate agent in NYC. They meet when Elsa shows Anton some homes. He eventually asks her out and it’s a whirlwind courtship and marriage. Everything seems so perfect for them but of course life adds some twists that really tested their love and personal strength.
Can these two make it through the storms and get their HEA?
My emotions were all over the place reading this story, I had some ugly crying going on. I loved both characters so much, their love was true and I had so much faith in them. The secondary characters were great as well, love seeing the other Titans. This can be read as a stand alone but suggest reading book 1 first so you can meet the first couple. I can’t wait to read the next Titan story. 1-click and get started today.

Imperfectly yours is the second book in the Titans of Manhattan series by Anise Storm. This book follows Elsa and Anton in the turbulent few months after their fairy tale wedding. Elsa is a highflying New York real estate broker, while her husband Anton is a major player in Hollywood. Shortly after their wedding the pair experience a tragedy which threatens to tear them apart and their future together hangs in the balance. This book is so emotive, I got emotional at several parts as my heart broke for them. Without spoiling the story Elsa does not cope well with her loss and the strain of this, as well as missing her husband, has serious implications. I really enjoyed this story and feel that many readers will be able to empathise with them. I am looking forward to finding out more about the other Titans in the upcoming books.

This is the second book in the series, and it is a great follow-up to book one.
Anton and Elsa are steadily moving forward with their relationship. They are more in love than ever and both have successful careers. Sadly though, as things progress all does not run smoothly, and many challenges test the couple. I really enjoyed this story, although it was an emotional rollercoaster for me as well as the characters in the book! The author manages to capture the couple’s love and strength perfectly, despite everything that happens. You can feel the chemistry between them bouncing off the pages, even when the cracks in their relationship begin to surface and the dream life they have built up together looks to be threatened. The author writes in a way that makes you want to keep reading, once I started I found it hard to put it down.

They had everything together, successful jobs, a loving relationship but the one thing Elsa needed was taken from her and can she come back from the abyss with the love and care of Anton.
Elsa has a high powered job being the most successful Realtor in the city, although with her relationship with Anton being long distance she is surprised when he pops the question and will she be able to have what she has always wanted love and children.
Anton is a Hollywood superstar who has yearned for a family for such a long time, when he saw Elsa he knew straight away when he saw her she was the one, so when he proposed and she said “yes” all he dreams would come true. But he was not prepared for what comes.
This story is heart-breaking, I was utterly devastated by the trials and tribulations this couple goes through. At the beginning everything was going great and then when Elsa has something tragic happen to her there world is turned upside down.
The author has written a great story with compassion and understanding regarding the subject matter. My heart went out to utter devastation of Elsa and was wishing her to come out of the spiral she was falling in to at great speed. I have another book boyfriend or even promote him to husband status, his character was so desperate to help his wife that he battled through the dark path the story took them down.
I can’t wait to read more from this author and this series.

When I started this book, I was like “Alright, I read the first one, I know what this author can do, so let’s bring on the drama.”
First half goes by and I’m seeing the beginnings of a marriage (which is ironic considering that I also just got married), and the start of these two characters lives together. And at first, it seems a little slow, a little too white-picket-fence, too perfect-
And then tragedy strikes. And again, and again. And then healing.
Do not, I repeat, do not read this book if you’re listening to mildly sad music, because y’all, it WILL make you cry. Actually, this book will make you cry regardless. I don’t think I’ve ever related to a character so much. The struggles Elsa is faced with in this story are struggles I’m terrified I’m going to have, or struggles I already have had. And watching Anton just love her through it all, this author does such an amazing job with her books. I can’t wait to see where the next one leads. Wait out the beginning guys, the end is worth it. I can’t wait for a physical release, this book deserves a spot on my bookshelf (As does the first).

This was a really good book! I’m going to be honest, the first few chapters made me iffy. I was convinced it was going to be a drag and that I wouldn’t understand the timeline at all. However, at about the 35% mark, things evened out and this took me on an emotional ride I didn’t quite expect. There is a trigger warning for miscarriage and drug abuse for this book. While I anticipated that I just didn’t anticipate exactly how much the main female character, Elsa, would break. It put several different things in perspective for me during the course of reading this novel. I cried while reading and it definitely lifted me up at the end. This is by far an 18+ novel, there were several spicy and steamy scenes not suitable for younger readers.

This was a really good book. I thought that the story was beautifully written despite the heartbreaking things that happened. Anton is a famous actor and star of many films.Elsa is a realtor and can not believe she is married to him. They have the perfect marriage and everything they have ever wanted. When tragedy strikes the couple, they are faced with unexpected challenges and decisions that could change their world completely.
This book took my emotions on a journey. There is a warning at the beginning of a book about possible triggers, and I was thankful it was there. This story brought up real challenges that many couples face, and the agony that can be caused. Each character had to face the issue head on and process their feelings in their own way. The journey is raw and emotional, and pulls every heartstring. This is not your typical love story, it is a story of challenging strengths and pushing through for love. I cried, I laughed, I enjoyed the steamy moments, and I could not put it down until the last page. The author is phenomenal and I can not wait to read the next book!

When she runs into a face from the past, she is offered the chance of a lifetime: marry him, move into his penthouse and all her worries will go away.
This was such a fun (and steamy) read. The characters are built well with emotional and complex backgrounds that give the perfect picture of who they are. Even though their marriage was a business agreement and they are opposites in so many ways, their undeniable chemistry keeps pulling them together. They both secretly find themselves wondering if they will really part ways when the year ends. I am hooked and can not wait to see what comes next in this series!

This story was so powerful that it makes you feel every emotion you can possibly imagine. This contemporary romance is told from multiple pov’s which adds to its depth. The plot is flawless, the characters are wonderful, and the word building is perfect. This book really took me through an emotional roller coaster making me feel anger, sadness, disappointment, hope, and of course happy. Anton is a heart throb who can have anything that he wants but really he just wants love and a family. Elsa is a workaholic just like Anton but she wants to give him the family he wants. But when grief hits them will true love really conqur it all? Can Anton pull Elsa out of her depression, or will she Spiral even further? You’ll have to read this wonderful story to find out for yourself.
